Back for my bi-yearly visit. Now where did I leave that thingy-ma-jig? Anyone seen that mish-masher? I think it looks like motivation or something!

@RBYDarkGreat! I'll just wait for the rest to answr before I get to work. And should probably tag @Sigurd here as well.

Fair warning. It won't be an usual scenario for CoC; for this, we're going to Soviet Ruussia! :O
@T Risket@gohKamikaze@RBYDark@Fish of Oblivion

For something completely different; I'm tempted to run a little CoC scenario in the tabletop section, if any of you would be interested? And if that goes well, perhaps get this little baby back to life?

But as if an omnipresent, perhaps even sentimental Deity suddenly felt a sense of pity for me, the radio crackled; not static, but a voice. Loud and clear, as if it was human. I rush to hear whatever civilized words emitting from the radio, frantically tuning it till I can hear the words; "Hello?".

My heart jumps in ecstacy. Finally, another human being! I try to respond to the voice, but my time in isolations has dried my throat. Or is it the dreadful sense of primal fear that has made me forget how to speak? Regardless, I only manage to utter gutteral sounds, nothing coherent. That was when I remembered.

I had eaten my own tounge after the diabolic ritual to cast away the demon, which failed. And then I remembered something else.

The radio had been broken for hours. It couldn't possibly recieve any signal.

So who was calling me?

"...Damn straight." Alexander said to Thalia as she turned to head for the truck. So it would seem that they were going together, making his radio redudant. But the thing that got to him was the first positive thing he had been told for a long time. It surprised him shortly, though not long enough for him to register Lola promptly snatching the radio out of his hands. "Don't change the frequency, I'll check in the truck. Call sign Kiwi, right?" Alexander was half serious, military style, half chuckling at that last part, not forgetting the scolding Thalia had given him earlier.

Alexander nodded to Thana, climbing onto the back of the truck and -trying to- sit comfortably. With the truck starting up and heading out On the road again Alexander pulled out the first radio, turning it on and switching to the frequency they had used back during his tea-mission. Then Thana asked them perhaps the calmest question which wasn't supposed to be calm. Alexander looked at Thana with a raised brow, fiddling with the radio for a moment before he answered. "If that's the orders, then yes Ma'am. Grab the supplies would be a good secondary objective, if I may note." Alexander turned back to his radio, pressing down the tranmission button and speaking into it. "This is Mugs here. Do you read me, Kiwi, over?"

"I can only offer two of those wishes, Jo Dear. Never was a night-club person myself. A drink and a tour for the musuem however, are surely possible afterwards. I'm having my doubts that they'll include us in their interlectual topics, so a tour surely can't be of harm?"

Haakon let Josephine take the lead as they finally found their way out onto the busy streets of Cairo. He hadn't missed much of what was going on, seen as it all felt the same as before. Especially the carts and automobiles that raced down the road. It was a wonder to Haakon that he hadn't witnessed someone hit out there by now. "Get used to it? Hadn't you been American, I'd call you quite silly. I can't understand how you can stand the heat." Haakon continued to say, passing the time with conversation as they continued their little trek to the Museum.

Mahendra let Neema and Lauren walk before him as they finally left the dreadfully dry-aired office. It felt as if every step past the door gave a gush of fresh air, making the usually heat-resistant Bengali stop his intense sweating. As they walked he realized they were walking back to the front of the museum, wondering whether this was the quickest route or not; this was important for the man who didn't want to lose his newfound job so quickly.

Perhaps it was that thought, or his still shaken mind, that didn't make him listen to Neema's question for Lauren and him. Mahendra, already late to tell about himself, let Lauren answer while he himself walked calmly up beside them, before Lauren asked if he was holding up. "I feel much better now, Miss Ridgeway. Please, do continue. I am interested as well."

Something wasn't quite right. Indeed, something was very, very wrong, even if The Heavy Weapons Guy failed to see. While his minigun spew out its infamous 'Ten thousand rounds per minute' at the hulking abomination, there was little response of pain from the gunfire. On the contrary, Giggles giggled at Heavy's attack. Heavy let go of Sasha's trigger suddenly as he felt a strange sensation underneath his tank top. It felt like a tickle at first, then like some kind of pulling.

"What was that…?"

Heavy suddenly flew through the air, straight towards Giggles. It all happened so fast, unlike anything Heavy had experiened before. What he had felt many a time before, however, was the undead fist to his face that followed. It hit him right in the jaw, causing an almost audible cracking sound, before Heavy fell back to his feet and stumbled backwards. The Russian bear held his jaw and spat right on the carpet a single tooth, followed by a small drop of blood. Heavy's eyes gave the abomination a look that could kill, remembering its words of play, before straying over to where Sasha lay after he was pulled away, and back to Giggles.

"You want to play, baby Giggles? We play." Heavy's voice was worse for wear as he spoke, almost whispering at his foe. He was angry now, very angry. He got a step forward when the PA sparked back to life, reminding them of the 'No-Killing' rule. But Heavy only chuckled. "Fine, you'll live. But you'll live, IN PAIN!" Heavy shouted at Giggles, about to head back into combat when Slayer called out to them. Was he giving advice to his teammates? A new experience to the Heavy, his simple mind was uncertain of how to take the helping words from Slayer. It was the sight of little Six flying through the air and Akira saving her that made him understand the severity of the situation; it only made him angrier. "Udachi, malen'kiy chelovek! As Akira rushed past Heavy to take on Giggles for him, Heavy turned on the spot and rushed - as fast as he normally could - towards his new enemy; the Death Knight.

Darion looked different than Giggles in several ways, but a few stuck out to the Russian brute who probably didn't care either way. He was perhaps the same size as Heavy, maybe smaller, but with armour like knights in shining armour. Nobody wore armour when Heavy normally fought, mostly because they all wore hats instead. Hats, had this knight gotten his head piece like the others, at random? And more importantly, could Heavy take it when he beat the teeny, beety babe knight?

"Hey you!" Heavy shouted at Darion, his eyes now burning with a fury uncommon, but not unheard of. As he rushed towards the Death Knight, he slung his beloved Sasha around his shoulder and onto his back, cracking his knuckles as he ran. "Nobody touch Six, or they make me angry. And never, never make me angry!" Heavy's words rang throughout the magical circle of combat, ending in a loud roar known to the Heavy. As the two, new foes closed up, Heavy threw his right fist into a punch at Darion's head armour, while his left fist went in for a straight punch to his stomach. While he perhaps couldn't penetrate his armour, what was to stop the sheer force of his punch going through and into his body?

Regardless of the fists' success, Heavy would then attempt to grab Darion by his arms and lift him up, trying to get him up before throwing him over his head and back to the ground. "Take that!"

"Absolutely dear. To the Museum!" Haakon was becoming quite cheerful with every step they took away from the Lord Major's office, walking beside Josephine through the door and whatever path she chose to follow. For he too wasn't quite certain which way to go in order to get outside of the baracks. He simply followed Josephine for now and hoped for the best.

"I wonder what our strange Fellowship, as the Lord Major calls us, are up at the museum. I hope Lady Munn is faring better than she did this morning. It's no good if the expedition's leader faints again."

Mahendra hadn't expected to be helped back up on his feet, but didn't mind the assistance from Peter as he slowly got back up and was gestured towards the table. "Thank you, Sir. That will certainly improve the unfortunate situation. You too, Sir, thank you." Mahendra thanked Peter at first, then turned his gaze slowly towards the man he feared to face. He was still standing, but as he looked towards George, he felt the fear of fainting return to him. But all that came over him was a shiver down his spine, nothing more. The mask had lost its element of horroundes surprise, and now Mahendra could finally look upon him.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, all three."

The cup of tea Mahendra placed in his hands felt comforting after the fits just experienced. But he had forgotten his primary task for the day after Vera's outburst; to assist Lauren and Neema in going down to the archives, and now he was in danger of not finishing his tea that he slowly drank of. Sure he wasn't whole English, but he had grown accustomed to their love for tea. "It will only take a moment, my dear ladies." Mahendra took an almost illegal sip of his tea, not paying too much attention to the actually heat of it, before putting the cup down and giving them another smile. "I'm ready. After you, Miss Neema."

Alexander still held his radio out when all of the following unfolded itself, feeling somewhat awkward as he stood there without any sort of reaction from the people in the truck. But he couldn't fault their priority with having a plan first and foremost, so he didn't interject. Especially not when Thana, in perfect fashion, disarmed Gavin in one fine swoop, thrusting his face into the poor Stuart.

Lola was the one to answer his question first, laughing. Alexander gave a look of "Yeah, I think I got that" and a quiet laugh, awkward more than anything else. The Navy girl was having no one question her orders. It would seem that some things never changed, not even after the end of the world. But she finally seemed to decide that having contact with the Army folk were of interest after all.

"If you want old Sparky onboard, Lieutenant Commander, then yes ma'am, I'll go with the truck. " Alexander's posture changed somewhat after Thana's handling of Gavin into something more orderly, perhaps even army. She was clearly in charge, he couldn't help but feel impressed by her, and perhaps his military side was needed once again. Alexander looked at Lola as he walked towards the tank, pulling up the spare radio. "Sorry Lola, I'm more useful up front than from afar. But here, take it." He turned to Thalia, holding out his radio for her to take. This all seemed awfully familiar.

"Same frequency as last, don't lose it. You know what to call me, Angel. "
