These were how my characters were done for the last roleplay they were in.. Brynn was originally a child of Athena but the spots were closed off so I chose Hera instead (I'm aware this RP is more Canon and we aren't allowing Hera children so Brynn will revert back to her old, original character make at the bottom of this post.) ^^ I will be reworking these characters to fit into this Roleplay. This is just to show you what I've/we've/you've got to work with. If ANYONE wants to talk about relations for either (or both) characters, I'd be more than happy to get started on those conversations ^^

I have a long, thick scar on my right forearm from where I got sliced open by a sword in my first year in training, and another scar on my abdomen from where a spear pierced me. I get quite competitive in my training. Was nothing. Merely a flesh wound. (Brynn smirks.) As far as piercings go, I took all my piercings out once I began taking my training seriously. Used to have my nose, lower lip and ears pierced.
Personal Style: She has a sort of carefree, "badass" grunge/greaser style she likes to sport when she's not in full armor. Sometimes a t-shirt and a pair of torn up jeans do the trick for her. She prefers boots and hightop canvas shoes with her jeans, but in shorts, she would prefer sandals or completely barefoot. Her hair is almost always down, except when she is in battle. She ties it up in a tight bun. Every now and again Brynn will put on makeup but tends to leave it off and go with a more natural look. Besides, who has time to put make-up on when they're busy kicking ass? Plus, putting makeup on just to go into battle is absolutely pointless, amirite?

Personality: Brynn, to most, has this "I'm better than you" vibe about her. Like one of those snot-nosed popular brats in high school who thinks everyone is beneath her. Quite the opposite in Brynn's case, except she does have a serious case of RBF. Brynn is very much about helping others way before she even thinks of herself, she just tends to be super competitive when it comes to training. She tries not to gloat, but sometimes she can't help it. She knows she's good at what she does, but she does like to help others out and give them pointers, especially the newer campers. She may only be 16, but she kind of acts like the Mother Hen of the Athena cabin, and even with some of the other campers in other cabins as well. She loves working with others but doesn't mind lone wolf missions/training sessions, either. She can work with both. If you really get to know Brynn, she tends to be quite sarcastic. She's loyal to a fault and will do anything and everything in her power to protect her friends.

Biography: Brynn's coming to be was anything short of a miracle.. I mean, as are any of Athena's children. Bronwyn was born to a man named Vernon Knowles. Vern grew up in Oregon but shortly after reaching manhood he fled to the city streets of Brooklyn to take up work, and spend many more years living there. Construction was flourishing at the time, and it seemed he was never out of work. Hardly had any downtime, but Vern knew he'd eventually have to make time in order to someday start a family of his own. Unbeknownst to him, that gift would be granted to him in the form of a little bundle wrapped up in a deep red blanket, a note pinned to the front of it. He'd read the note and realize what he'd been given, and tasked with. He'd go on to tell his family members that he'd decided to adopt a child rather than waste time trying to find someone to be with who could provide a said family for him.. with him.
Vern spent the first few years raising Brynn on his own. As Brynn grew, her abilities began to show through. At the young age of 4, just on the cusp of her 5th birthday, Brynn's father sent her away to camp to begin her training. Being a young child, Brynn didn't take to it too well the first summer. Not only did she not understand why she had been sent there in the first place, but it was also the fact she was nearly killed upon entering the camp that had her freaked out. A manticore chased her into camp, managing to swipe her across her back with its gnarly claws. A satyr and a few older campers heard her screams and came out to fight off the beast, helping her into the safety of the camp. After she was treated for her wounds and calmed down, Brynn was told of who she was and where she came from, and where she was for the summer. Although her mother claimed her right away, upon arriving, she did not get to meet her. Much to young Brynn's disappointment.
She returned home for the school year, and the following year came back with a vengeance to learn all that she could and make her daddy proud. And her mother, Athena, as well of course. Brynn grew to hold no ill-will towards her mother after learning the reasons why her mother had to stay away. Brynn spent years going to camp during the summers until the year 2017 came, Brynn being at the ripe age of 13. It was time to head off back to camp, and she was as excited as ever. Unbeknownst to Brynn, she had been being hunted for several weeks prior. Vern was getting their truck ready to make the trip down to camp when they were attacked by a fairly large cyclops. Unfortunately, there's no happy ending to this story. Without going into too much detail, Brynn's father didn't make it out alive. He sacrificed himself for his daughter's life, and managed to allow her to escape. Luckily by this age, Vern had taught her how to properly drive and she did just that, all the way to camp.
She's been inside the camp walls, since. A fire had somehow been started in their home, so it wasn't very hard to have faked her death. She's since stayed at camp and has made a year-round home out of it. Since her father's death, her training has become more intense and she in herself has become more fierce. She's more than ready to take on her next quest. They help her clear her mind. Sitting around camp for extended periods of time makes her antsy.
How Long Have They Been At Camp Half-Blood: Brynn used to spend only the summers here. She began coming every summer starting in 2009 when she turned 5 in the camp walls. Course you can't have a young Olympian crossing over through the gates of camp without a little game of cat and mouse, can you? So, of course, she was chased into camp. A manticore nearly had killed her on the way in. And as of a few years ago, Brynn has since become a year-rounder.

Note: Greyson's "personal pet" is something that was created in conversations between another roleplayer and I on discord for the Heroes of Olympus roleplay that Bronwyn was originally in. Greyson was supposed to be brought in as a character but the RP shut down and Greyson became just a dream. The other roleplayer and I used to discord and DM rp on RPG with their character Sofia and my boy Greyson, and once I jumped in on Olympus Academy I wanted to keep that little bit in his story because I thought it was just really cute (Sofia and Greyson were seriously the OTP and it made me sad they were never brought to life officially x) )... so yeah ^^ just a bit of backstory on that, I suppose.

Greyson stands at a flat six feet tall while weighing approximately 68.946kg (152lbs). The young man keeps up on working out, leaving him with quite an athletic, mesomorph build. He has blue-grey eyes and wavy dirty-blond hair. His skin is lightly-tanned, with no blemishes of any kind. Greyson's personal style consists of plain ol' crew neck t-shirts and jeans with some normal street shoes. Least that's what he wears to fit in with the 'American youth'. He would much prefer it if he wore fancier clothing, such as button up shirts and a nice pair of jeans or slacks with some dress shoes. A nicely pressed suit is a personal favorite, of his. No matter what he wears, though, he always has his two rings (1.0 family crest ; 2.0 gift from his father) and his necklace from his mother.

Greyson is a soft-spoken gentleman who keeps a rather calm and stoic demeanor on the outside. His background has him constantly holding his shoulders back and head held high to face the problems thrown his way. He's a young man of very few words, that is unless he's speaking passionately about something. Or to someone. Even through the hardships that Greyson has faced, he's always managed to keep hold of his soft, kind-hearted inner shell. The few he's allowed into his inner circle know this boy is loyal to a fault, and loves like no other. His need to protect the women in his life far exceeds anything else. Having quite a number of nieces, he knows just how fragile young girls can be. Greyson can be a bit more emotional as well as in-tune to emotions more than the average male, having been raised around more girls than boys (with the exception of his two brothers, he had several female cousins he was raised around), he picked up a few things. Greyson is an all-around good guy. He can act pretty damn confident, but it's not out of an "I'm better than you" way, more of an "I know my worth" kind of way. He's a lover, not a fighter, but will fight for those he loves. You probably won't find another guy like him.
History
Greyson's mother, Princess Diana, died less than a year after his birth. Greyson grew up in the shadows of Prince William and Prince Harry, raised by Prince Charles, Duke of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Charles treated Greyson as if he was his own son, and Greyson knew no better. His real father never came forward to claim him so he didn't know any better of where/who his real lineage lied with. That is, until he was approximately 9-years-old, when he was nearly killed by a giant.
The details of just how exactly he survived are quite fuzzy to Greyson, but all he knows is it didn't take long for someone from a Camp that resided in the States to reach out to him to comfort him in the dark time. They offered information for the young boy to piece together, filling in the blanks of a past he never even knew. He began spending summers in the camp, learning who he was and how to control the abilities he had (and was still discovering). He quickly learned that he wasn't alone, and that things weren't just black and white, but much more complicated than he could've ever imagined before.
Once Greyson came of age, he stopped attending the camp and exchanged his summer camp shenanigans for Olympus Academy. The change was difficult, at first. The atmosphere was... challenging, to say the least. Eventually, Greyson did find his place among the crowd and fell in with the rest. Being a son of one of The Big Three caused him to grow a reputation rather quickly, but the young man didn't put much thought into it. As much as he enjoys his time spent at the school, he enjoys going back home to be with his family for the summers. When the boy was born, it was believed to the public, anyway that the child was the result of Charles and Diana having flipped the table and had an affair behind Camilla's back. Of course, Charles denied it because he knew that wasn't the case. Camilla, however, had her suspicions. When Diana died in the car crash just 8 months after Greyson was born, Charles took it upon himself to bring him under his wing and raise him as his own. The public already had it in their minds that he was in fact his. If he turned his back on the boy, he'd never hear the end of it. The small child grew on Charles quickly, making it simple for him to forget that he wasn't actually his. He received the same schooling as his two brothers, William and Harry.

"There was this girl I knew at the camp I used to attend in the summers... daughter of Hephaestus. Girl by the name of Sofia Greco. We became very close in our time spent in the camp. Growing up, my favorite animal was a snow leopard, and she and I had talked about it on a few occasions. I used to draw blueprints of sorts for this idea I had, so that one day I could build up my own mechanical beast. Just as a sort of hobby, nothing more, really. Well, some years passed by, and one summer when I had arrived to camp, she was waiting for me at the gates with this huge grin on her face. Eventually she took me down to her bunker where she liked working on her projects, and put the final touches on what she was so eager to show me. Turns out, ever since we had started making sketches and whatnot of my mechanical leopard, she'd been trying to build one for me. She finally finished it, and gave it to me as a 'welcome home' present." Greyson smiles to himself, staring off into space at the ground, rubbing the stubble on the side of his face absent-mindedly. "I miss her. Got a piece of her with me wherever I go, though." After a moment in silence, Greyson clears his throat and stands upright, bettering his posture. "Sheba, the leopard, is water-resistant. Of course. Can't have her short-circuiting on me. Being who I am, I'm glad Sofia took the extra step to do that. Sheba's practically a living thing. Has the same mannerisms as an actual leopard, and if she feels I'm being threatened, she will attack, or at the very least prepare to. She also has a set of commands, which are voice sensitive, and are spoken in Italian and ASL. Sofia and I used to speak both to each other, so she implemented that into the leopard's programming."

Greyson tends to stay away from his father. He doesn't hate him, as hate is quite a strong emotion in which Greyson finds hard to attach to anyone, really. But they definitely aren't close. Greyson could probably count the times he's interacted with his father on one hand. When Greyson was younger he used to want everything to do with him, but as he got older and began to realize that Poseidon never reached out to Greyson, that it was always the other way around, that he stopped trying. Greyson was learning all he needed to know from Camp and the Academy, so what did he need Poseidon for?

Brynn, to most, has this "I'm better than you" vibe about her, which those who think that tend to believe it's because she's Hera's daughter. Like one of those snot-nosed popular brats in high school who thinks everyone is beneath her. Quite the opposite in Brynn's case, except she does have a serious case of RBF. Brynn is very much about helping others way before she even thinks of herself, she just tends to be super competitive when it comes to physical training. She tries not to gloat, but sometimes she can't help it. She knows she's good at what she does, but she does like to help others out and give them pointers, especially the newer campers. She may only be 17, but she kind of acts like the Mother Hen among her friends. She loves working with others but doesn't mind being a lone wolf , either. Although most of the time that's not so, considering her and her best friend Zoey spend quite a bit of time together. If you really get to know Brynn, she tends to be quite sarcastic. You'll know she's comfortable with you when she starts insulting you. It's all love, so don't take it personal. She's loyal to a fault and will do anything and everything in her power to protect her friends and loved ones.
History
Brynn's coming to be was anything short of a miracle.. I mean, as are any of Hera's children. Bronwyn was birthed from the goddess herself, and some short time after she was brought into being, was completely given up to a man named Vernon Knowles. Hera didn't feel Zeus would be very accepting of her child born outside of their marriage (although he had several, himself), so she instead gave Brynn to her father. Vern grew up in Oregon but shortly after reaching manhood he fled to the city streets of Brooklyn to take up work, and spend many more years living there. Construction was flourishing at the time, and it seemed he was never out of work. Hardly had any downtime, but Vern knew he'd eventually have to make time in order to someday start a family of his own. Neither of Brynn's parents have opened up to her about how they met, or how long they'd seen each other before she was conceived. Hera and Vern's relationship after Brynn's birth became quite distant, and after Vern took over care for Bronwyn, the two hardly ever heard from the goddess at all. He'd go on to tell his family members that he'd decided to adopt a child rather than waste time trying to explain the real story. As if anyone would believe him, anyway.
Vern spent the first few years raising Brynn on his own. As Brynn grew, her abilities began to show through. At the young age of 5, just on the cusp of her 6th birthday, Brynn's father sent her away to the camp in New York to begin her training. Being a young child, Brynn didn't take to it too well the first summer. Not only did she not understand why she had been sent there in the first place, but it was also the fact she was nearly killed upon entering the camp that had her freaked out. A manticore chased her into camp. Her small legs, at the time, couldn't carry her very far, leaving the manticore with the ability to swipe her across her back with its gnarly claws. A satyr and a few older campers (Brynn's best guy friend, Greyson Davies, being one of them) heard her screams and came out to fight off the beast, helping her into the safety of the camp. After she was treated for her wounds and calmed down, Brynn was told of who she was and where she came from, and where she was for the summer. Although her mother claimed her right away, upon arriving, she did not get to meet her. Much to young Brynn's disappointment.
She returned home for the school year, and the following year came back with a vengeance to learn all that she could and make her daddy proud. And her mother, Hera, as well. Brynn grew to hold no ill-will towards her mother after learning the reasons why she had to stay away. Brynn spent 11 years going to camp during the summers until the summer of 2017. It was time to head off back to camp, and she was as excited as ever. Unbeknownst to Brynn, she had been being hunted for several weeks prior. Vern was getting their truck ready to make the trip down to camp when they were attacked by a fairly large cyclops. Unfortunately, there's no happy ending to this story. Without going into too much detail, Brynn's father didn't make it out alive. He sacrificed himself for his daughter's life, and managed to allow her to escape. Luckily by this age, Vern had taught her how to properly drive and she did just that, all the way to the Rockies where her best friend said he'd gone off to. She didn't think it was wise to go exactly where she'd be expected to go, so she headed up to join OA.
A fire had somehow been started in their home, so it wasn't very hard to have faked her death. She's since stayed at camp and has made a year-round home out of it. Since her father's death, her training has become more intense and she in herself has become more fierce. She focuses hard on her studies, as well. With Greyson being there to help aid her, it's been quite easy for her to fall in with the rest of the crowd. Brynn hopes to make the rest of her time here at OA go by quickly. Side Note: In Brynn's escape from the cyclops, she managed to save her dad's old dog Duke. She brought him with her to OA. He doesn't really do much, and isn't very active. So most of the time it's like he's not even there, really.

I get quite competitive in my training. Was nothing. Merely a flesh wound. (Brynn smirks.) As far as piercings go, I took all my piercings out once I began taking my training seriously. Personal Style: She has a sort of carefree, "badass" grunge/greaser style she likes to sport when she's not in full armor. Sometimes a t-shirt and a pair of torn up jeans do the trick for her. She prefers boots and hightop canvas shoes with her jeans, but in shorts, she would prefer sandals or completely barefoot. Her hair is almost always down, except when she is in battle. How Long Have They Been At Camp Half-Blood: Brynn used to spend only the summers here. She began coming every summer starting in 2009 when she turned 5 in the camp walls. Course you can't have a young Olympian crossing over through the gates of camp without a little game of cat and mouse, can you? So, of course, she was chased into camp. A manticore nearly had killed her on the way in. And as of a few years ago, Brynn has since become a year-rounder.
