@PirouetteOkay, are you offering Jing Yan for that part? <_<

@The Kid LanternIsn't Killer Croc a bit too high in the tier list for Zero to have defeated on his own?

Not intentionally but we could if you want.
I'd like to add a storyline to my character, and while I have a vague idea for it, I'm stuck on a few details. Basically I want Zero to have defeated a villain of his own at some point in his career, and now they're back and want revenge. The trouble I'm having is the villain itself. Should be original? A re-imagined canon villain? I have no idea and if anyone wants to shoot me a suggestion I'm all ears.

It would probably be better if it were a player's character. It adds a lot of things.
Elisse Mariselle

Town Meeting

Some time passed before Elisse gave up her vigil of outside. It hadn't occurred to her that there was an impending Apocalypse, which took precedence over a visit to some crappy "tourist" spot. If people weren't really visiting before all this, they certainly weren't going to bother now. Elisse realized this and sat bored on against the wall, sulking away.

It wasn't until a strange flicker and eventual loss of the power that caused Elisse to snap out of her brooding to watch the old woman, Ann, mutter a curse as she stumbled upright. Elisse watched her waddle up to the door and glance outside with her hands on her hips. "Huh. I wonder if..." Her voice trailed off as she furrowed her brow thinking about what just happened. It wasn't apparent to Elisse but Ann was a bit senile to not even consider that a power outage in an Apocalypse usually meant bad things. In fact, Ann hardly displayed any concern for the End of the World and instead carried on with her mundane life, but Elisse wasn't a good judge of that fact. She, too, was guilty of being unconcerned for the End of the World as she was blissfully unaware of it. After all, it wasn't her world in a sense.

Elisse continued to watch Ann's reaction to everything but only saw her confused stare through the glass door. After a moment, the older woman made a decision and decided to waddle away to investigate what the town was doing. Elisse didn't budge from her spot until she heard the sound of metal lock clicking into place. It seemed like there were going to be no visitors to Number 1 Sealth Road today...

Elisse sat for a few minutes alone as she tried comprehending everything happening in a short period of time, but being on the duller side of herself, she didn't know what to think. However, she knew what she wanted to do. She had to leave her little sanctuary and see what was going with the outside world. So she did.

----

Elisse had apparently enjoyed the feeling of the sun in a previous lifetime but not anymore. There was no feeling of anything in her spectral body as she walked along the pavement of town. Hell, she didn't really feel her feet compress as she walked and the whole thing felt like she was just floating in a way. It made Elisse feel as if she weren't around anymore and that was a scary reality that she had never really accepted since her passing and resurrection. In other words, she was dead but refused to believe it. She was just different, she'd say to herself and carry on like passing through walls was nothing. She was just a little bit different then all those gathering in the town square...

Once Elisse reached the town square, she wandered amongst the people. Deep down, she was envious of how most were interacting with each other in a way she couldn't but stubbornly, she told herself that she just wasn't in the talking mood. Instead, she decided having a quiet vantage point to people watch was best and chose a central tree to hop onto. She blissfully kicked her feet as she watched everyone in the town scurry about, waiting for whatever was going to happen next.
@Morose

I can post tomorrow no problem.
Fyi Hana is still in her silly banana pyjamas.

Miyako
Impulse - 3rd Ward

Time passed as Miyako continued her quiet vigil down the street from the clinic. Judging from the small level of activity, the place seemed pretty mundane as what Miyako assumed were regular humans shuffling in and out of the doors occasionally. But nothing was guaranteed at this vantage point and after carefully considering the variables, Miyako decided to approach.

Since last night, she found the time to change her clothes before falling asleep in that alleyway. A large gray sweatshirt completely encompassed her small upper body, with the sleeves stretching past her hands and the bottom just barely stretching past her shorts to make it look like the sweatshirt was the only thing she was wearing. Her distinct gray hair was lazily cloaked by a ball cap and a newly acquired surgical mask hid her face somewhat. The whole thing made her look younger than she actually was especially considering her size, but overall, it was a pretty weak disguise. All things considered, however, beggars couldn't be choosers as Miyako acquired all this stuff through various frowned upon means.

Miyako eventually ducked into a small shop across the street and using the storefront window, she put on the act of analyzing the merchandise. In this case, she was holding two umbrellas in her hand and held both up as if trying to decide which color suited her best. The gray one, obviously, but at least she made the whole act somewhat convincing.

Enough time would pass that Mi would have to try to browse other items but shortly after her internal umbrella debate had ended, she saw movement across the street. A man was walking out the clinic and while he appeared no different than other physically, he didn't look content like the others. No, it wasn't a sad, bad news from the doctor, look but it was one that looked as if he were brimming with rage. Anger was definitely not a common thing to feel after a clinic visit. As the man stormed out, Miyako eyed him carefully as he walked, studying him carefully for anything recognizable.

In all honesty, Mi didn't have much to go off of but she did remember the man from last night being slightly larger than the average Japanese male. Also there was a faint hint of the man's true injuries that he was trying to conceal. He looked nearly healthy but there was a slight disruption each time he took a step. As Mi continued to weigh her evidence, she noticed a small (very small) girl in pursuit. Had they recently held a verbal dispute? If so, that debunked a large part of Mi's evidence that this was the Rinkaku.

Curious about the two, Mi stepped out and followed them for a bit until Mi's subject turned to face the small female behind him. Mi waited for a yell or anything to indicate anything concerning what happened in the clinic, but nothing came. The man was silent and suddenly, Mi felt a very eerie reminder of last night. It's him..., croaked Mi's other half almost sounding hungry causing Mi's mouth to water. The Rinkaku from last had also been speechless. It was poor evidence but everything considered, Mi felt a little better about her next move...

---

The clinic looked very modern and just reeked of the classic clinic clique. Plenty of humans were both staffing and visiting the place making the place very convincing, but not enough. The air had a tinge of Ghoul in it and as Mi continued inside she could already smell the receptionist, who reeked of being a Ghoul. She was preoccupied with some of the human visitors but Mi didn't need to trouble her, she knew she was in the right place.

Miyako, in her current appearance, looked as if she were some lost kid but surprisingly, no one gave her grief over it as she poked around the first floor briefly before slipping up the stairs to the second floor. Again, Mi briefly poked around but did not get a sense there were any Ghouls present outside of the still faint whiff of Ghoul stench. Continuing she did the same and found a hotel-ish floor. For the most part, Mi did her best not to confront people and stay out of sight. It was better to avoid attention in this case. But again, Mi didn't find any presence of Ghoul activity but only noted that the Ghoul stench felt slightly stronger as she went up.

Fourth Floor. Mi could smell it. Smell them. Ghouls. The air was so pungent now, Mi could feel her stomach churn and growl in excite as if her other half had began to chant inside her. Following the wafting scent, she eventually stumbled upon a scene that you couldn't really describe all that well. A Ghoul with pigtails had her hands tucked inside the pants of two other Ghouls. There was another Ghoul but he was largely overshadowed by the whole hand ordeal.

"Excuse me..." Mi called softly to the others from her spot. Her other half was figuratively devouring her internally as she watched the other Ghouls. Her mouth watered and she could just taste their flesh. Mi would have wiped her mouth but she was still wearing the mask and could feel herself slobbering on it. "... I was hoping someone can help me..." She continued, her voice slightly muffled by the mask. She was really laying on the innocent thing and tried sounding as far from a threat as possible. It was a little too early to get into a spat right now, despite her other half wanting it desperately.
