William is an honest individual when it comes to others, he doesn’t mind dropping his two cents in when it comes to questionable actions or ideas as an attempt at being the voice of reason though whether they accept his advice is up to them. He treats everyone with the same amount of respect so long as they’ve given him no reason not too.
Ever since he was a kid, William was a hard worker and it has proved within his combat ability as well as knowledge of the world around him. He is quite thankful that it was beaten into him because without it he doesn't think he would have been able to afloat. Since the incident, William has become a rather gritty individual. He doesn't take insults or acts of intimidation lightly and almost always challenges them.
Williams Jett black medium length hair, slightly muscular frame, and height standing at 6’2 are the main features that most people notice. Upon closer inspection some will notice his deep lilac colored eyes as well as a few noticeable scars on his body.
Outside of work, William can be found in his trademark black trench coat, turtleneck, and beanie which keeps him plenty warm while around and about the town.

William is a member of house Vectis, a long established noble family residing in Talesin, an adequate merchant town north of the capital of Fiore. The Vectis household is most famous for their strong affinity for crystal magic which has allowed the family to produce renowned mages throughout the generations.
William is the first born of 2 by Leonardo And Melissa Vectis meaning he is first in line to becoming Heir to the household. Starting from the young age of 4, William would be taken under his father's wing to be groomed into the next Head of house Vectis. When he first heard that he would be next in line to lead the family, the young boy was excited to know that he would be following in his father's footsteps. At this point William was hopeful and determined not to let his father down.
Will was placed under an extremely strict regimen in order with little to no room for error or else there would be consequences. He would walk out of teaching sessions and magic lessons with his hands swollen, pink, and sometimes even bloodied before bandaging his hands up and making his way to magic training and surely wouldn’t leave without coughing up his lunch for the day. It was brutal surely but he stuck with it in hopes of pleasing his father whom he’d looked up to so dearly.
His life would surely change when he nearly lost his life at the age of 15 over a seemingly harmless business trip to the country of Bosco, east of Fiore. It wasn’t the boys first time traveling overseas with his family for business so he didn’t make much of it. The family they would be negotiating with was another wealthy family known as the House Arnet. During the negotiations William sat attentively listening to the words his father chose to say as well as the responses and propositions from the head of House Arnet, once a deal had been met both nobles shook hands. In celebration there was to be a party that same night at the Arnet family that Will and his family had been invited too.
The party was quite enjoyable as there was plenty of food and entertainment to go around but it all quickly turned into a nightmare. Willaim remembers a bright flash of light before being thrown out of the 3rd story of the household manor by his father as he mouthed the words ‘run’. The Arnet Manor went up in flames in a huge fiery explosion, lucky for William he had been saved from fatal wounds. When the boy came to his senses he found himself in a bush outside of the tattered mansion, quickly he rushed to his feet but was met with a chill down his spine as he felt the magic power within the area. The words that his father had mouthed to popped in his head and the boy took off into a nearby forest sprinting as hard as he could. The boy suffered some bad injuries but nothing magic couldn’t heal, after clearing a decent amount of distance away from the Manor, William passed out from exhaustion.
While unconscious, William was picked up by an appraiser making his way back home from the Royal capital. The Appraiser went by the name of Grayson and he was the one able to nurse William back to health as well as give him a place to stay until he was able to make his way back home. William stayed with the man for a few years before returning back to Fiore, when he had returned to his Family Manor he would find the place abandoned and in ruin at it was also subject to attack while the family was gone. At this point, William had nothing, even though he was crushed he didn’t let this stop him from preserving. He wanted to avenge his family, but first he would need clues. Once he had returned to Fiore he heard the news of a guild that had been formed after defeating the dark guild known as Demon's Maw. The idea of joining a magic guild didn’t sound so bad as not only would he be able to scavenge for clues of his family's killer but be provided with room and board as well as a bit of pocket money while he was at it.

Crystal Magic - A type of magic used by the famous House Vectis, Crystal magic allows the user to produce crystals from their own body or the ground in order to provide offense, defense, or utility. William is capable of using his magic for a multitude of options whether it be restraining foes, protecting himself or allies from attacks, or even attaching shards to people in order to track down their location at a later date.
Requip - William prides himself within his defense and ability to take hits, over the recent years he has fitted himself with a multitude of shields in order to assist himself in fighting against a multitude of foes.
| Strengths and Weakness: |+ From an early age members of the Vectis bloodline are taught to wield a sword and shield, William was no different. The boy showed diligence with his combat ability, even displaying ability for hand to hand combat.
+ William has a very strong work ethic that was built into him at a young age due to what he had to live up to, lucky for him it still stuck with him even after the incident.
+ During his years with Grayson he picked up on the ability to appraise artifacts as well as pieces of gear.
- William rarely lets his guard down causing him to be on edge rather often, this can sometimes get him into a lot of trouble and also cause jobs to become difficult for little to no reason.
- Will can be overly blunt and insensitive at times which often upsets those who aren't prepared.
- William is poor aerial fighter as his magic works best while on the ground.
