Nincada and Bulbasaur engaged in battle, Bulbasaur jumping a bit to hit with his Vine Whips while trying to avoid Nincada’s Leech Life. However, Leech Life hit, making Bulbasaur cry out a bit. However, it didn’t seem to be Super Effective, and an angry Bulbasaur Growled back at Nincada once before returning to Vine Whipping after taking one more attack. Though, it appeared Nincada was taking more damage per hit by Vine Whip than he recovered per Leech Life, yet the battle was still going somewhat well.

‘Bulba…!’ However, over time, it still appeared that anyone could win this fight. Both Pokémon were getting considerably damaged, Bulbasaur keeping up the fight, intensely focused on his opponent, Vine Whips still read to do more damage. But, perhaps, this would be far enough. Or another blow, still? Bulbasaur still looked a bit energetic, but it was on a limit of how much he could take. Though, after this, Nincada also couldn’t take much more, it was uncertain how much would be too much.

Trevenant looked amused at being inspected, while Chandelure was just energetically waving its candles and occasionally threw fireballs at offending Pokémon as they made their way through this part of the woods. It was pretty large, this area, but they were approaching a place which Amelia could feel would be filled with ghosts. Laurinda turned to stare at her slightly at her worry. She then gave a little smile.

‘I’m not alone. I have my Pokémon. This is true for all Pokémon Trainers. ... Also, having a partner that can see the future helps immensely.’ Laurinda stated, before turning to continue walking down the road which had been created for them. It was a curious road, created by Trevenant each step on the way while they were protected by Chandelure. But… soon enough. They were approaching.

And equally as soon, the trees around began to die.

Though, as dark and dreary as the place was, they then walked into something quite curious. There was a whole lot of bugs lying on the ground. They were all evenly spaced in-between one another. There were Beedrills, Combees and a few Vespiquens, lying on the ground with caring pieces of cloth over them like covering to keep them warming. Almost all of them had burns on their body. And, on a stump further away, sat a bored bipedal fox staring into the flame at the end of her wand, looking about to fall asleep. When she noticed Laurinda approaching, she slightly lifted her head to look. She also gave Amelia a brief, confirming stare before returning to looking into the flame.

‘She caused a bit of trouble earlier today, so she’s on guard-duty until the Pokémon she hurt are healed. This is… the safest place, at least for the Pokémon of Infested Woods, at least during the night.’ Laurinda sighed. ‘Not an ideal solution, but it works. You behaving, Delphox?’

‘Phooooooooox.’ Delphox answered in a bored tone. Trevenant and Chandelure turned in different directions and was seemingly intending on standing guard.

Now, it was entirely possible that Amelia wasn’t that interested in any of that. Because, since entering Wilted Woods, she could feel Ghost-Pokémon in practically every single tree around them, and some behind and some above the same trees. She wouldn’t have to look for even remotely long to find any ghosts. She could look for powerful as weak, she could search for lonely as well as clusters, friendly as well as hostile. Any kinds of spirits. She could feel them. All around.

Yvonne clearly was neither used to nor entirely appreciative of having that arm suddenly thrown around her shoulder. However, the grimace she made was quickly shifted to a just slightly uncomfortable expression with a little smile of confidence.

‘… Right! Yeah. I can guarantee that my performance will blow your expectations out of the water! … Geh.’ She said, as they were heading on after Laurinda after she had been let go off. The girl took a moment to correct her clothing and rebuild her comfort as she raised her chin and walked.

‘… So! I’m going to need to return to Justroad City. I have appointments in the near future. Ellias kind of put me on the spot, and now I’m most of Isson away. … Hmgh, this might be troublesome.’ Yvonne crossed her arms and considered as they were walking. Ahead of them, Laurinda sighed.

‘If for the sake of getting you home, I can call a friend I have in Freecape Town to get a ferryman over here that can then fly you to Justroad City. That way, order will be returned to the world.’ Laurinda said. Hearing this, Yvonne brightened up, smirking happily.

‘Of course! That would be lovely! Or, wait.’ She suddenly blinked in realization. ‘Maybe this is exactly the chance I needed.’ The blonde girl considered while Delphox steered them away from a Scatterbug nest. ‘Could it be possible to ferry me to, let’s say, Redcoast City instead?’ Yvonne inquired.

‘I won’t be paying for your ride, then, and can’t promise you’ll be flown home after.’ Laurinda stated.

‘Excellent! Do not worry, I have some cash to spare that’ll surely bring the ferryman back when I need him~!’ Yvonne grinned excitedly thinking about it while Laurinda looked like she was regretting what she had just offered. ‘Yes. This is excellent. Exactly what I needed. Perfect. Getting out of Justroad and onto a stage where I will be able to outshine all others. Wonderful.’ Yvonne mused for herself, looking excitedly down into the ground and seeming to momentarily forget that Claire existed.

‘Alright.’ The girl said, starting to pick up a few items from her pockets to give to Dawkin’s Pokémon while Karl was glaring at the woods… when all of a sudden the sound of four feet hitting the ground was heard behind Dawkin.

‘Fool!’ A female familiar voice called out. ‘You’re not the only one with-!’ She then promptly shut up, and if Dawkin looked he’d see her face transfer directly from confident triumph to utter panic.

‘… Well. This is awkward.’ The red-haired guy states in a passive voice, his eyebrows raised.

‘AMETHYST!’ Karl shouted, spinning and glaring at them with a stare of hatred while reaching for his Pokéball. Meanwhile, Dawkin would suddenly find that he had the healing items the girl had been taking out.

Dawkin obtained 2 Super-Potions! His Pokémon wasn’t healed, though!

‘Grunts of Amethyst!’ She called out in an authoritative tone. ‘We are Karl and Anabelle of Team Virtue, and we will now place you under our-’

The two nicely clad Amethyst grunts were running in full, almost comical speed with limbs flailing back into the Wet Caverns, the girl’s hands flailing in the wind while the guy was alternating punching at the air in front of him with each hand in each stride while throwing the other hand behind him.

‘HOLD IT!’ Karl shouted out angrily and dashed after them, and Anabelle was right after. ‘I urge you to cease your attempt to escape at once to not be punished as severely…!’ She cried out after, dashing into the Wet Caverns.

And yeah, that just happened. What would Dawkin do?

The two Amethyst members vanished, pulled up into the air through the use of Escape Ropes. Donna is left on her own in the tunnel. From here, she has access to the tunnels she had previously seen.

There was the way back, which was a flooded cavern which led off in two different directions, one way from which she came, and another which led in the direction the water flowed.

To the right from that cave, there was a slightly descending tunnel that opened in a larger area. Already from here, she could see the movement of several what appeared to be families of some seemingly rock-based wild Pokémon that she couldn’t identify from this distance, and Zubats overhead of them. The tunnel went deeper, she could not see where.

In the front, there was a thinly wet tunnel which water only reached a few centimeters of height, but it went on for quite some time and then ended up in a rapid descent, past which could not be seen from here. There were a few Surskits skidding on the surface of the water.

And then, of course, here to the left there was the room which she had been spying into. It led simply to a big lake in the middle of a dead end, if you didn’t count the hole in the ceiling which let in the daylight and proclaimed an unreachable exit. There didn’t seem to be anything else in here. … Except for, maybe, a strange ripple in the water.

Up to Donna what she wanted to do or head from here.

@Eklispe Yupp. Nicely posted. This is sensible. Haha.

Thank you~ That's three positive remarks. Makes me happy and eager to continue. Haha. Now, then. On another little point.

@Pink Madness So, you haven't posted in the IC for a while. Now, you have been simply eavesdropping, so that's fine. No action has been required of you. But, for Eklipse's next segment, I do need to know if you're going to do anything that might stop the two before you or not. A comment of your intention posted in the OOC will do if you can't get a post out currently. It would be nice to know before I try to write the post later today. If you're in a situation where you can't get online before the appointed time so you can't make that comment... well, chucks. Haha. No worries. Nothing we could help. :)
@Joshua Tamashii And Amelia reacts as expected to ghosts. Meanwhile, Laurinda's like "did she somehow know I had ghost-types, or was it a shot in the dark?". Teh-heh. Anyways. Nicely posted.

@Rune_Alchemist I'm happy to hear it~

And, nicely posted. Alright, leaving it slightly open-ended there. I've got things to follow up on it with. Haha.

@Pikmin Eye Alright. Thank you for the feedback. It helps alleviate some of my worries hearing about it. I will keep at it, then. Thanks.

On a different note, Friday to Saturday I will be mostly preoccupied. With that in mind, I'll try to post later today. Hopefully in around 12 hours or so. Yeah.
@Pikmin Eye Alright. Nicely posted. I believe I can imagine how this will go from the information provided.

Now, then. A question a bit more generally to all.

Are everyone enjoying themselves? Is the roleplay fine as it is being handled right now? Would any of you want some kind of changes, or is everything just pitch practically perfect to you all? I can't promise anything, but I do want to know your opinions. Haha.
@Eklispe I didn't think you had. I'd like to think I know you better than to suspect so. Haha.
Um. But Donny didn't move. Then he isn't shot. Um. Uuuuuuum.

Anyways, um. I summarized the events as I thought they happened, as the if-triggers had all been posted, partly to make it easier for myself to react to and so. Now to hope I didn't make any terrible mistakes. Hahahaha.
He notices the man, but doesn’t move.
Donny

He answers the call.
Fortune

He does not move.
Kael

"When can we get up again?" he asked. "The streets of New Nemea are very comfortable, but I am a little thirsty now."

"Shut up." The male knight with the pavise said absent-mindedly as he turned his body and began to approach both Fortune and the fallen crossbowman. The female officer had approached the tripod and rooted her pavise on the street behind her while she worked on the circuitry at the tripod's base, and appeared content to let her partner manage the scene.

"Hello, officers? I'm the one who called you, I can explain as much as I can after you get us out of here." She spat out some of the dirt that had covered her face after the shockwave. "Most of us are unarmed. Just be careful dealing with the redhead, he's a bit trigger-happy and I don't want another accidental shootout."
"Now listen, I'm a police inspector. Did you hear me?? Just check the inside of my coat, on the left. I've been commissioned by two governors in cooperation to investigate strange goings-on in this particular area. Already I've been forced to take more aggressive action today than I've ever had to during the last ten years of my career, so I'd appreciate it if I didn't have to spend the rest of this long, ridiculous day on the ground!!"

@Bright_Ops
"You're lucky that you aren't going to spend the rest of your short life in an oubliette, 'inspector.'" The male knight responded flatly as he approached Fortune and the crossbowman. He set his pavise into the ground a ways in front of them and gripped the stock of his compound crossbow with both hands - paying little attention to Donny save the brief offhand comment he had just uttered. "Alright. Which one of you two jokers is Fortune De Vigny?"

Which was when he spotted the red-suited man with the face reminiscent of rebar, who had staggered his way up to both of his feet. It was at that precise moment that reality decided to break at the seams some more.

@mdk
Fortune answered the man's question before the red-suited man begins to speak, so the man promptly launches into a tirade. "Officer, this red-haired oaf is not an inspector! He is Donovan Booth, and he is on both the FBI's most wanted list as well as the Turquoise Charter! He is responsible for that mess with the limousine, and he attacked me and my companions as we drove closer to assist! He is responsible for the deaths of nearly every single corpse you see here!"

The female knight finished fiddling with the tripod's rudimentary circuitry and rose back to her feet before idly kicking the tripod stand over with a hefty bash from the side of her right greave, sending the mounted spike toppling over onto the concrete with a tremendous metallic bang. As the red-suited man is still alive, an enormous, blinding bolt of lightning instantly leapt from the levitating traffic sphere and enveloped his body, reducing him to a mass of rapidly flash-vaporizing, champagne-colored slop and ashes that float and drift eerily in the distorted gravity.
What actually happened, then

Amelie kept still, looking at the scene that was taking place. One of the officers… really strange officers, asked for a Fortune De Vigny. Turned out to be one of them. The knight, specifically. Huh. The man in a red-suit then started yelling about the red-haired man… calling him Donovan Booth. After the things that Amelie had just seen him do, she made better to believe the man than anything else.

Then the woman kicked the tripod and a lightning-blast too unexpected for Amelie to react to suddenly blasted the man to ashes. Amelie flinched in place, trying to recover from the terror of just having seen another man gruesomely die before her. S-so… That tripod had been for their own protection. What were the rules? How did the lightning decide who to strike? The police were both in armor. Was that more to defend against the lightning than anything else? She hoped she wasn’t making a terrible mistake, lying here without protection from such energy. But, it looked like she yet lived.

Fortune started moving to stand up. Amelie’s eyes focused on him, figuring that if any of them was going to suffer the consequences it would be him. She got ready to summon a Redirection Orb to block a sudden lightning-strike or potentially an attack from the police against him. … Granted, he was wearing armor that could defend him, maybe? But just in case. Amelie was ready to attempt redirecting an attack from any direction aimed at him, hopefully in a direction where nobody was. … And, also maybe to defend herself, if something tried to kill her. Maybe.

Herself, except for moving her head with wide eyes to keep full attention of what was going on in case a Redirection Orb was needed, lay down with hands on her head. She felt terrified. What was going to happen now…?
Oh, my, dear, gosh. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Hah.

Suppose I'll have to write a bunch of if-statements, too? If people don't post ahead of me, that is. XD

... But if people then start writing if-statements to the if-statements of others, then that's going to become one terrible mess... ... ... That's the goal, ain't it, Terminal? XD
Was I the only person that attacked the Federation troops? ... And "all targets eliminated"? ... ... ... How many were there? I feel like writing a whole and partly gruesome fight-scene, teh-heh...
There. Tell me if I missed anything. Anyways, yeah. That's a post. ... Hm, there was something I wished to say to someone. Eh, I forgot. Hahaha.

Edit: I will note I let Trevenant do that because of his Pokédex entry. It directly states he can manipulate the trees. ... This does not mean I will necessarily let him make use of that in battle. Haha.
