I'm working on the opening post. I'm going to get us started.

@Crimson Raven So. How's it going? It's starting to reach the amount of time where I really should start potentially taking action.
@Rune_Alchemist Alright. Nicely posted. It's up to Pirouette to receive that message, now. Heh.

@Eklispe *compares your and Kristy's teams* Yeeeaaah probably a good call, even if Kristy's disappointed. I'll see what info I can cook up for you. Nicely posted. Haha.
Nora and Sheila

Visage and Creep

Rocker’s Hideout
collab between PlatinumSkink and @solokolos
(and a bit of @ProPro on Shatterpoint)

Creep
Sheila Hopkins

Villain’s Meeting
Visible

This was it.

Time to show up.

Time for all the villains to lay their eyes on her and judge her.

Sheila barely resisted a quiver, her fears powerful.

Okay, time to be Creep. Sheila tried to self-impose the mentality of a villain who didn’t care what others thought of her, confident, determined, deadly. She frowned under the blindfold, willing her expression to become angry.

Strangely, it helped.

Creep walked into the bar she wasn’t actually old enough to enter without bothering to look at anyone else. Everyone else would see a girl in a black coat, hood pulled over her hair, black blindfold and mask over eyes and mouth, showing only her white nose for skin as her hands were in gloves. A bit of her hair, which appeared brown because Sheila was colouring it, leaked down under the hood. For those who could perceive it, a small voice-changer was incorporated into the mask for security, just a small black box by her mouth hidden by the mask. In her belt were her knives, and inside her clothes she stored the gun and darts. Just in case.

While Creep didn’t look directly at anyone, Sheila was examining each and every one of them using her powers, swirling their images inside her range while still ensuring the light projected by the area was still completely natural, they wouldn’t notice a thing. She examined those present. The Jacks. The mob. Sabotage. … Quite a few that the internet hadn’t told her about, those that she’d hope to know more about by the day’s end. She felt sorry for the bartender. Then again, perhaps he had an extensive criminal record, was employed by villains and was used to this sort of thing.

Without noting anyone else, Creep arrived alongside Visage. Regardless of what Visage did, Creep showed her invitation to the one who needed it and then proceeded to simply walked over to sit down at one of the spots assigned to the Rockers. She sat straight, put her hands on her legs in a relaxed state, and looked straight forward at nobody in particular unless Visage sat down opposite her, hoping on that with her eyes hidden nobody would know what to make of her. Yet, using her powers she examined everyone she could, and tried to eavesdrop as much as possible…

She felt extremely frightened right about now, the pressure immense from all the real villains around her. Sheila focused on staying calm and learning what she could from here.
@Joshua Tamashii This is true and I will simply assume closing rules in the Pokémon World differ from how it works in the real world, heh.
@Rune_Alchemist Got it!

@Lmpkio Answered via PM, because I like slight secrecy.

@Pirouette Now sure sleeping in fits with the serious tone of the current situation. Your nation's being invaded, ya know. XD

@Eisenhorn Hm. I could consider the later idea in combination with my immediate plans for the future. I'll let you in on that in a PM... later, because right now I'm panicked because I have stuff I very much need to hurry and do, haha.
@solokolos
Want a conversation with Visage before actually posting, but Creep will definitely be there, terrified as all hell and hoping it doesn't show. Has sent a PM to you in order to ask about that.
Now that I think about it, however, Raven’s character doesn’t necessarily need to be there when the game starts, sooo…

@Pirouette I’ll assume you want to start in the throne room? As princess of Grado, I can imagine you being trusted enough for this, heh. But, yeah, if you have any other thoughts, they’re welcome.
@Rune_Alchemist As a Wyvern Rider of Grado, you’re totally eligible to being assigned as the princess’ guard. Is that good enough for you, for the moment?
@Eisenhorn We can also make a fair argument for you being there, being a shaman in service of Grado. What do you reason?
@Apollosarcher I could place you in the throne room as well, saying you reached right before things went down, as well. Like last time. Is that fine with you?
@Lmpkio You’re harder to reason for why you’d be in Grado Keep, being a rogue mercenary and all that. However, I have an idea I like that just might make sense and feels very Fire Emblem. It involves Raven’s character, however.
@Eklispe Heh. You wrote that part about warning Grado of the attack… I will say that you probably made it there before the army, but the attack happened so soon after that word didn’t have time to properly spread. That said, I can place you in the throne room, too, ready to receive the mission. They’d be thankful enough to hope you’ll slip away with them, you’re relatively unconcerned, after all. To stay with them after would be your decision, heh.

If any of you have ideas you think would be fun, I’d be willing to hear them. Otherwise, I’ll just settle for placing the majority of you in the throne room. I’d like to hear all your opinions and hear any questions you might have, on where you’d be at the start.
There we go. I posted.

I intentionally left the post there because I wanted to leave the option open for someone who'd potentially want to interrupt for any reason.
Eli

Eli gaze lifted into the sky as Caroline cried out within her loving embrace. She held on, as if she was holding her sister, her disguise leaking tears from her eyes. And then… as Caroline passed out, there was a voice in the winds…

‘… Bye…’ Eli muttered her reply, perhaps too silently to be heard by anyone. She sat down, still holding on to Caroline, as a silence encompassed the area from the immediate battle ending. Now, Eli simply sat there hugging Caroline’s limp form, resting her own head against the passed out vampire. It all… felt so peaceful now… … …

Mariette

Mariette spat, her neck in pain from where Caroline had held her. She pulled herself onto her feet with janky, aggressive movements, really not appreciating what she had just been forced through. Still… she had seen all that had happened. She smiled oh, so pleasantly, her form slightly hunched over due to still being in pain.

‘That’s it, Eli… Now just hold onto her, just like that, for just a little longer…’

A portal opened from here to within the Bastion, and from it Mariette used her arms to retrieve the large, frameless mirror that she had been gifted. She placed it against the ground leaning on herself, directed towards Caroline. The surviving Shadows gathered around, the amount of light in the area seemingly decreasing as they got closer. Of course, she still had portals linking to her eyepatched eye all around to see if anyone was going to try to interfere.

This, this was a decisive victory that Justine could not overcome. Now, Mariette would have wanted to flaunt it over her, but as long as Sonia could pop out of anywhere with her bane in hand it was way too risky. Mariette had to place this girl somewhere not even Justine could reach her. Besides… This worked wonderfully for striving towards Mariette’s ultimate goal…!

‘Asengav… I have… an offering for you… Do treat it lovingly, he-he…’ Mariette uttered with difficulty due to the pain to her throat, yet there was a strain of playful vengeance in her voice, and she even giggled a little from being drunk on pain and triumph. Eli blinked in realization, felt that perhaps this was a bit twisted, but it was also for their survival, and so she held on as ordered.

The mirror slowly darkened in colour, the Shadows around them seemingly getting small grins as the dark powers coalesced. The mirror now a portal directly to the ancient horror Asengav himself, in whose grasp Mariette could be certain Sonia could not rescue her from. Dark tendrils, some of them with grasping large shadowy hands on the tip, emerged from the mirror, seeking to lay claim to the girl in Eli’s grasp. As those limbs approached they would gently, almost affectionately, curl around around Caroline’s body. Eli’d let go at that point, pulling herself back as to not be accidentally snared up as well.

With Mariette and the Shadows all smirking at the scene, the dark arms would gently start pulling Caroline back into the depths of the dark portal.
Whelp. That delay wasn't supposed to happen. Anyways. Here. Tell me if anything's wrong.

@Rune_Alchemist I realized belatedly I forgot to name these two. All trainers you face should have their names show up as you face them. Oh, well.

@Eklispe Alright, here you go. Of course, you don't have to challenge her right now, but she's a bit excitable. Teh-heh.

@Joshua Tamashii Yikes, that ghost-sense of yours. Okay.
I have no idea if it's reasonable for the Bug Garden to be open at night, but EH! XD
Here you go.

@Pirouette As expected, the battle against Daisy might be a bit more complicated. Do you want to change tactics, or do you keep at it and hope for the best?
