Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

I mean...

If, uh, if this is the kind of reaction that appears when it's revealed that he is indeed "male"...

I wonder what kind of reaction the students will get once it's revealed that he is a "demon".

This is probably already pretty bad. I wonder how it will get worse.
Daithi Akasuki

Seeing as the priest kindly replied to his co-worker, Daithi seemed to ease up. He opened the cash register for a moment to look at the funds that they garnered for today. It was a steady income, at the very least. He then closed it back when he noticed the increasing tension between the priest and the customers Asia was serving. Mia had burst inside and glomped their master - the act all too familiar with the previous Fallen Angel. It was, however, responded with a not too kind expression from Delilah as she, herself, was glued to the scene that was happening before them.

The moment the priests brandished knives was the moment the air around them started to smell like ozone - lightning pouring out of Daithi and crackling around him. His serious expression quickly replaced by a furious one. One might easily say that he was always among the first to react violently to situations like these, and among those who take it far too seriously, finding little time for jokes - though that isn't to say that stalling isn't part of some of his strategies. However, the scene unfolded to be much, much worst as one of the customers grabbed a woman that Delilah had been serving earlier, holding her at knife point. It seemed that Daithi was now absolutely furious for more reasons than one.

The priest had taken out a revolver, one that Daithi does not recognize among the treasures and weaponry of the Catholic or Christian churches; though that may have changed over the years that he wasn't part of Heaven anymore. He turned back to the previous customers, now enemies. He let out a ragged breath, meant to calm himself. He saw Asia take cover and Delilah started to store power, perhaps to unleash hell upon these people for disturbing the peace of her cafe.

Suzue had taken the first shot, shooting a web at the man who was chanting something. They then continued on to distract by speaking. Sato came in and then acted surprised, as if bewildered by what was happening. He assumed this was another distracted. From behind the enemies of theirs, Kael had emerged. The Shadow Demon proved useful in cases like these, as sneaking was a great asset. He then managed to take the hostage taker at the tip of his own dagger which meant that there was momentary relief as the group would be surprised.

The time to act had come. A dark sphere formed into a spear now crackled with lightning and he sent one hurtling towards one of their enemies, aiming to incapacitate him in one shot. Though they may prove to be resilient, but he wanted to test the waters first. Unlike the first three, he stayed silent and the attack that he made was harmful to the others. This may already escalate to a battle and Daithi was more than glad to get the first strike in. Simultaneously, a bolt of lightning was released and sent towards another one (not the chanter or the hostage taker) in hopes to see if he can also take the shot.
"Not so much that I'll bother you or myself, but rather our next door neighbors might just kick us out." Yuki said with a light laugh. She then shook her head ever so slightly. "It's not so much as me fearing debt but more of me wanting to take responsibility for my actions when I'm older." She gave her new friend a rather bashful grin. Again, she couldn't really live life relying on others. While that would be ideal and his parents were always willing to impart money to her, she figured that if she can't live alone now; then she wouldn't be able to live a very successful life. The last thing she wanted was getting into poverty because she lacked skills to survive in the real world.

"Much better places, there are. But working for the force has always been my dream." She said, an earnest smile now replacing her grin. Yuki looked forward once more as she began to talk, "We've always been taught that we should do everything to protect our people. That's exactly what I'll do once I'm older. Joining the JSDF would allow me to busy myself with just that - protecting the people by defeating demons." She scratched her cheek as she began to think about it. True, it wasn't the only use for her and there were tons of magical girls around so they wouldn't really appreciate her as much as other jobs would, but there was really nothing else she could find herself happy in. Military had been her life ever since she was a child and her mind has already been made up. She may have had fleeting fantasies on other jobs but they never lasted as long as her love for the military. Perhaps she was being selfish in a sense that she wasn't completely focused on only protecting the people, but also because she wanted to fight.

When she felt Melissa's hand squeeze her arm, she willed herself to not shock her again. She was about to lecture her again, seeing as she gave off her rules just earlier, but then she seemed to show concern about her condition. "Don't worry, I'm good." She reassured the other girl. The blonde wouldn't have survived three years in this school if she couldn't handle the crowds. Admittedly, her first year was when she kept her distance. With her limited control over her power, she ended up shocking nearly everyone in her year and then some. It's part of the reason why most of her classmates were already used to her minor shocks and just feel like they were grounded before shrugging it off, saying - "Ah, got too close again." - or something along those lines. She has improved since then. At least, she believed she did.

The orientation soon started and the headmistress addressed the thing that has been occupying their minds ever since they saw him - that there was a guy among their midst. Whispers broke out around her and she couldn't help but feel at awe herself. She explicitly stated that they needed to treat Nero as any other person in this school. Yuki could at least manage that, seeing as she doesn't have much to go on besides the fact that he was male, and that sure didn't bother her as much as it should. Knowing that his presence here was intentional and that the headmistress knows, then that meant he was safe to be around. Yuki had an unbelievable amount of trust in her. Her loud voice broke through the whispers, "You got it boss!" She shouted with a grin on her face. "Just don't expect us to - er - bathe with him when the public bath is open. Now that's just too personal eh?" Her joke, made in all good intentions, seemed to break off some tension with other students.

She seemed to try and catch Nero's gaze at this point and once their eyes made contact, she gave her a welcoming grin. His entire aura exudes that of something dangerous, the same one she feels when she's cornered. He was off-putting, but if the headmistress wanted him to feel at home - then feel at home she would make him feel! The list of interesting people in this school just seems to lengthen every single year - though she should have expected as much. Yuki then stood up to follow and then noticed that one of the first years approached Melissa to ask about the school. Imagining that Melissa could answer the questions, she gestured that she would go on ahead before squeezing through to get to the headmistress.

"First day and you're already full of surprises Headmistress." Yuki teased, settling in her place only a few spaces away from the headmistress herself which meant that she was already at the head of the group of girls. "Thanks for making my last year pretty interesting with the addition of a boy."

Yeah. So technically, wile he can survive without food, he can't survive with radiation.

So it just makes being in a sterile environment even deadlier.

So that's a go?

Feeling rather detached from the world right now thanks to the pain that has now made itself known once more, shooting up with every step he took. However, he kept himself conscious long enough to arrive at the clinic. He saw that Kale also had that Vulpix he saw earlier. Oh, right, that kid was attacked by the same Scoliopede. Kim, the Chansey, was already planning to let them get inside. However, Drip first reported to Kale about what happened. By this time, he was raring to go inside to at least get on the bed.

But Kale then went off to find the guildmaster. He imagined that was to report the recent happenings. Could this really be all a coincidence? The Earthquake was merely done so he could escape. But... Damn, this was really no time to think about all of this. They were ushered in by Kim and then he lied down on one of the beds. Relief flooded him as he was able to rest his injured leg. He watched as Kim and Aki, the Chimeco, treated the other two first. He was fine with it - they were kids. They weren't as experienced as him when it came to being injured. He was in and out of this place in his younger years when he was still new in the guild. Getting himself injured time and time again had become a sort of joke back then. The accident prone monkey, they would often call him. It was more just being plain reckless than getting into tons of accidents. But it at least made him able to withstand pain a lot better than before.

Once Kim turned her attention to her, Rick grinned. "Oh doc! The pain searing through my leg is tantamount to hundreds of bites from Mightyenas!" He screamed, his overdramatic speech obviously pointing to him making fun of himself to lighten the mood - the act made for all to laugh at. Kim and Aki, and probably everyone else in the guild who has been in the hospital wing with him would have probably gotten used to this side of him. "Please hurry doc, I think I'm going to die soon!" He then crashed his head back onto the pillow and closed his eyes. A moment later, he opened it again with a grin on his face.

"That's the basic gist doc. What do you think doc?"
Yuki watched as Lucia went away. Really should do something about that. Probably next time though, since now would just be dipping into hot water again. "Drums huh? While I'd be ecstatic to play one... I don't think practicing in the dorm room would be the best idea. I don't want to bother anyone really." There were more reasons than that one but she'll just stick with just that. Though thinking about the prospect of playing the drums still did make her excited. Maybe they could borrow a room in power development? Those were soundproof... Well, she assumed they were.

"Oh really? Huh, sorry, don't know much about music politics." She said with an easy grin. "If that's the case, maybe not double. Somewhere less... maybe around the ten thousands range. Should probably ask more about that." Maybe she could strike a deal with the headmistress about lessening the debt with a quota kill of demons. That way, she'd be able to at least soften the blow once she becomes a full-fledged adult... which wouldn't really be far from now. Gah, thinking about it really wasn't her style.

She looked back at her companion. "My father works for the military, as with most of the males in my family and they want me to enter as well. Though, I think I might be placed in JSDF because I'm a magical girl. I also imagine I might get paid a pretty sum." She said with a light chuckle. The mere thought of getting a job that involves just fighting demons instead of a desk job is just right for her. She gets bored easily, her teachers in mundane subjects can attest to that. She only gets average in all her scores. Perhaps the only thing why they don't badger her to improve her grades was because she excelled when it comes to power development and in patrols.

As another announcement now called for everyone, they were close to the room. However, that also meant that she came across something she couldn't really believe. There was a man in civilian clothing inside the school for magical girls. Now she could assume that he was actually a 'she' much like herself, but still. There were more things to look out for other than that. She swore she didn't stop but she found herself rooted in place as she looked at him pass. He didn't seem to pay any of them any mind.

She blinked before shaking her head. Maybe she'll just ask the headmistress about that. She moved once more, now entering the orientation room with Melissa. "And here we are." She then moved to take a seat.

Technically, he doesn't need to eat or drink thanks to him surviving off of rads.

But he wants to eat and drink so he makes it a life duty to find a way.
@Leaves

Oh yeah, can I change some tidbits about Johnny? Like he can't eat anything anymore (after I made up my mind that he can't take his mask off at all anymore) and that one of his goals is to find someone who will be able to remove it without ultimately ripping his face off.
Waiting on them then!

'Cause I feel that we just dominated a whole page.

Oh wait, we did.
I... think we should probably wait for the others.
