Parr- Alteration Class

"What a delightful assignment!" Parr exclaimed as he took some golden clay. "Oh! That sounds wonderful, Miss Mela," Parr told the apple girl when she said she would be attempting something abstract. "I think it's always best to push one's abilites to their limits. That way, one can tell exactly what they are capable of, and of what they need to improve!" he added with a chuckle. "As for myself, I shall be crafting an hourglass, one of the earliest instruments with which to mark the passage of time."

With that, he produced several sculpting tools and set to work. After only a few minutes, the small sculpture took shape. If one cared to inspect it, they would find that it boasted quite detailed and elaborate decorations and patterns on what would normally be the hourglass's wooden or metal frame.

"Now then, for the transmutation!" the canine declared. Producing an apparatus that looked like a cross between a wand and a tesla coil, he infused the clay sculpture with trasformative magic, turning the small hourglass into, well... glass. "Ha ha! Success!" he declared triumphantly. "Oh, dear! Miss Sarah! What have you done to your arm?" he inquired, after finally noticing his roommate's predicament.

Kate- Alteration Class

Having barely made it to class on time, Kate quickly took some clay and began kneeding it between her fingers, while thinking over what to make.

Yikes... she thought nervously, after noticing that one of the students had changed their arm into glass. That doesn't look pleasant... Good thing I already know how to do this kinda stuff.

"Hey, that's lookin' pretty cool, Alura," Kate told her roommate as she watched the other girl sculpt her monster. "In fact, that gives me an idea..." she added. Grabbing some more clay of various colors, she set to work on her own creation.

Several hours before the Rave…

Violet sat in her study browsing various data feeds on her holographic displays, a frown marring her otherwise lovely visage. In just a few more hours, the rave would begin, and as yet, neither of the Mint’s agents had reported back on the status of their respective assignments. Violet still planned on attending, of course, but it would help to know who to look for, as well as to be familiar with all they were capable of. Casting her gaze to a screen displaying a Glimmer chatroom, she skimmed over a series of messages pertaining to the swiftly approaching social gathering.

Hey guys! So, who's gonna be at Vi-Chan's rave tonight? I'm definitely going. It sounds like its gonna be a ton of fun, and we might even get to meet Vi-Chan herself! Personally! I can't wait!
RedEyeWitch
Eh, I might show up. I'm not really one for parties, and I can't even begin to figure out everyone's obsession with Vi-Chan, but a possible rumble with some Beacon Bitches sounds like it could be somewhat entertaining...
DancingQueen
I'll be there, of course, strutting my stuff on the dance floor! I've been told my performances are quite mesmerizing, and it's no lie! When I get going, you won't be able to keep your eyes off me!

Don't worry, though! I love the attention!
Number1BMG
Ha! You only think you're hot stuff because you've never had any real competition! As the Best Magical Girltm, I'm the greatest at everything, and that includes dancing! Just wait until I step out on the dance floor, I'll put your best moves to shame!

Just try not to cry too hard!
RedEyeWitch
Oh great, this bitch showed up... If she's going to the rave, I think I might pass...
StacyStitches
Hey, don't miss it on little miss perfect's account. I mean, she probably won't even show up! After all, has anyone ever seen her in action? She's always on these boards like a rash, but I don't know of a single person that's seen her IRL. TBH, I'm actually kinda curious to see her in person. Y'know, to make her prove she's as great as she claims.

Violet rolled her eyes. She wasn't even remotely impressed by this so-called "Best Magical Girl". She appeared indistinguishable from the typical internet troll with an over-inflated ego. In fact, as far as Violet was concerned, they were all nothing more than immature attention seekers. Well, if all went according to plan, they would have their attention drawn to something far different this night: The public interrogation and execution of whoever had foolishly dared to attack her family. Her request to take the Violet Princess for a “test drive” had been quickly approved, and both the prototype drone and its linked VR piloting system were fully prepped and awaiting launch. Now, if only her associates would hold up their end…

Just then, the voice of her butler dissolved her musings.

“Miss Covington,” he called out, his normally imperturbable voice containing a not insignificant tone of dismay.

“What is it, Winston?” Violet asked, slightly unsettled by her butler’s noticeable change in demeanor.

“It is your father, Miss,” the butler explained. “I am afraid he has suffered a heart attack. He is in his room now, and the physicians are attending him.”

Violet gasped sharply. “Take me to him,” she ordered, rising swiftly to her feet.

“At once, Miss Covington.”

“Father!” Violet exclaimed upon entering her father’s bedchamber.

“Ah, there you are, my princess,” the elder Covington replied weakly. “Come, sit here beside the bed for a moment. I have something I wish to discuss with you.”

“Are you all right, Father?” Violet asked as she made her way over, her voice filled with concern. “Winston said…”

“I am fine, Violet,” he told her, his tone firm and reassuring, despite his clear fatigue. “It was just a small heart attack due to stress. A good night’s rest and, by morning, I shall be good as new. Now then, doctors, if you could leave us for a moment, I have some private matters to discuss with my daughter.”

Bowing respectfully, the collection of doctors and medical personnel filed out of the room, leaving Violet alone with her father.

“Violet, this is an important time for the company,” he began. “Many key projects are swiftly nearing completion and several important operations will soon begin. While my current situation is only a minor inconvenience, it has led me to realize that I must always be ready to pass on the mantle of leadership to you, my daughter. I have trained you well, Violet, and you were always an attentive pupil. I have no doubt in my mind that you are ready to assume your birthright, and I know you possess the same certainty. I just wished for you to hear such words from me. I am so very proud of you, my princess,” he told her warmly as he gently stroked the top of her head. “Under your guidance, our company will soar to heights undreamed of.”

“T-Thank you, Father,” Violet said softly, fighting back tears. “Your approval means the world to me.”

“You are fully deserving of it, my princess,” her father replied. “Now then, I do not wish to occupy any more of your valuable time. You may leave me in the doctors’ care and return to more pressing matters.”

“I-If you will permit it, Father, I should like to remain here and care for you personally. As your daughter, it is my responsibility to stay at your side in times such as these.”

“Very well,” her father said with a pleased smile. “I believe your ministrations will be worth more than those of the entire medical staff combined.”

“A photographic memory is certainly a valuable asset, Father,” Violet noted with a slight smile.

“Indeed,” her father concurred, “but for now, let us just rest for a while.”

Taking her father’s hand in both of her own, Violet gave a small nod.

“Of course, Father.”

Despite the seemingly tranquil atmosphere, Violet’s thoughts raced at a frenzied pace. Was it really just stress that had brought on her father’s heart attack, or was something more sinister at work? Perhaps whatever contemptible force was responsible for her father’s nightmares had done this? Now that their nightmare attacks were being repelled by the Mint’s amulet, perhaps they had decided to try more aggressive tactics? And what of the recent security breach in the testing chamber? Were these incidents all related, somehow? And who was behind them? Some lone magical entity with a grudge against her father, for reasons unknown, or an old adversary, like Lodovico Demiris? Regardless, she knew one thing for certain: she needed more knowledge, and that meant she needed to arrange another appointment with Al Scarpe…

“Welp, looks like it’s time to get goin’,” Mia announced after checking her wristwatch. “You ready for the big party, little sis?”

“Gosh, is that really tonight?!” Connie asked, clearly surprised at how quickly the day had arrived.

“Sure is,” her friend confirmed. “So, have you picked out anything special, or are you just gonna go with your regular magical girl look?”

“Umm… Just my regular look, I guess… I mean, that’s what I always look like when I’m doing… umm… magical girl… stuff…”

“Yeah, same here,” Mia replied. “There’s no way I’d want anyone to know I was actually ‘Gaia, Daughter of Mother Earth’.”

“Oh, gosh, in that case I’ll try my best to only call you Gaia at the party.”

“Ah, don’t worry about it,” Mia said with a grin, while she ruffled her friend’s hair. “You can still call me Mia. I mean, there’re probably dozens of girls with that name. Just don’t use my last name, okay?” she added with a wink.

“O-Oh, okay! Sure! I can totally do that! I-I mean, not do that! I mean…!”

Relax, Connie,” Mia told her soothingly as she placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. “Everything’s gonna be fine, I promise.”

With that, Mia gave voice to her incantation and was once more transformed into her verdant magical girl appearance.

“Now then,” Gaia said as she twirled gracefully towards the bedroom window, “shall we be off?”

“Y-Yeah!” Connie confirmed having changed into her magical girl form as well. “Let’s go!”

...

The trip seemed to fly by in a blur. Before Connie knew it, she and Mia had arrived at the location for the rave, a large warehouse in an abandoned section of town. Faith, Lotus and their friends were waiting for them outside. After some brief introductions and exchanges of pleasantries, they all made their way inside, where Connie was more than a little taken aback by the sheer number of people present. And the types of people. There were the expected dark magical and monster girls, of course, but there were also girls who looked relatively normal. Heroic, even.

Before leaving to chat with someone named Cindy, Faith had explained to Connie that the guards she had assigned to her would be mingling with the other party guests in an unobtrusive manner, but would always be alert to any signs of danger. Not that she expected any, she reassured the easily frightened girl. This was, after all, a party, a place of relaxation and fun. Despite their sometimes terrifying appearances, no one here was likely to cause Connie any harm. Accepting the fairy girl’s assurances, Connie and Mia set out to explore the rave’s venue, and hopefully meet some new friends along the way.
Kate

"Canada?" Kate asked with a raised eyebrow after Katalynn's failed attempt at identifying Jackie's homeland. "That TV of yours must get signals from other worlds, cause I'm pretty sure there's no place called Canada in this one."

Alura then mentioned something about classes starting, and the next thing Kate knew, the other girl was falling through a portal in the floor.

"I think she might be jumping the gun a little," Kate said with a small chuckle, not particularly bothered by the means of the girl's sudden departure. "Classes don't start for another..."

Her words trailed off as her camera began emmitng a soft beeping sound. Taking a look at the clock on its display, Kate gave a small gasp as she noted the date.

We're a whole day in the future... Huh... Well, okay, then! I guess this is where the fun begins!

"So, guess I was wrong about that," Kate said with a sheepish grin. "Looks like classes start right now! Come on, guys," she said to her two remaining roommates. "Don't wanna be late on our first day!"
@RabidAnubis @SilverPaw

I purposely left the number of people who got caught in the time jump vague, to allow for player preference. The main idea was that all the people who acted as though the classes were the same day as the party were the ones who were popped a full day into the future. That way continuity remains (relatively) intact without posts having to be edited.
Parr

"Ah, Alteration!" Parr announced as he entered Prof. Reed's classroom. "My father's favorite class! Aside from Temporal Physics, of course!" he added with a slight chuckle. "It is a pleasure to make your aquaintence Professor," the Canine said, removing his hat and giving a small bow. "Your reputation preceeds you."
Kate

"Cool, thanks!" Kate said after Jackie had given permission to have her picture taken.

*Snap!*

"And you said your name was Katalynn?" she asked, turning to face the girl standing by the doorway. "I'm Kate Carson. Nice to meet ya!" she added with a smile as she held out her hand.
The first classes are up, pick one or none. Take your time, you can arrive a bit late if you have dorm matters to solve first.

Can one perhaps pick both?

Asking for a four-legged friend.
Kate

Uh, yeah... Sure thing... Kate thought to herself after hearing the strange voice whisper in her ear. Alura was certainly an odd one, the photographer reflected, but she'd have to do some serious work in the weirdness department before she could hold a candle to Nykannis.

And speaking of candles, no sooner had their third roommate appeared in the doorway, than a fourth roommate emerged from the bathroom. A roommate that looked like a humanoid candlestick.

"Oh, sweet! You're a Candelabra, right?" Kate asked with obvious excitement. "I've heard about you guys, but I've never seen one of you in person before. Say, would you mind if I took your picture?"

Parr

"Late for Alteration?" Parr wondered aloud."But Miss Sarah, classes don't start until... Oh, bother," he added after noticing that his red-haired roommate had already disappeared out the door. "Not to worry, though!" he declared, giving Mela a wink. "I shall simply reverse the temporal compression I performed eariler and everything shall be right as rain!"

With that, Parr once again produced his hourglass-looking temporal compressor and activated it with the tap of the intricate rune at its base. And, once again, for the briefest of moments, the universe came apart at the seams. For the span of less than a thousandth of a second, anyone you asked would tell you that 1+1= Cerulean Symphony, and such an answer would seem perfectly correct. After that less-than-a-thousandth-of-a-second had passed, however, all returned to normality (whatever that word even means...), and giving such an answer would probably get you sent to a place rather like Fae Creek Academy...

"Ah, here we are, then!" Parr announced. "One full day into the future! Come along Miss Mela! We mustn't be late for our first class!"
Okay.

Update: And done.

Aren't you glad Parr decided to attend Fae Creek?
