as a patreon reward I will read your least favorite person's handmade custom tabletop RPG homebrew and ask them why they didn't just run it in 5e instead

I started RP before double digit age but you couldn't have gotten an admission I was under 18 under threat of death. Kids just casually admiting it online now is wild.

Also as an aside, Stranger of Paradise is fucking amazing and my game of the year for 2022. Literally Nioh 2 with a Final Fantasy skin and the best protagonist in the franchise.
While we're here, I'm curious, who here has played an FF game, and which one(s)?

Most of the main numbered series except 5 and 11, also played the Tactics games and Dissidia. I had a lot of time as a kid and most of the games were easy to get on emulator lmao
Yeah, but I can't find a description of what they do. What am I supposed to put under limit break?

Make up a super move and slap it in.
Renar Hagen

The First Princess really did enjoy speaking of this book a tad too much. Still, Renar couldn't fault a sheltered teenager for panicking and holding on to some sense of normalcy. Still, if Sir Adeforth wasn't going to shut the conversation down, he took it as tacit approval to keep on with this line of talk. Sun and Moon, he couldn't imagine Felix trying to hold a conversation with the Princess. The idiot would probably either try to aggrandize himself or just be a sycophant.

Renar shifted his gaze towards the windows, keeping an eye out for intruders as he spoke. Nothing yet, but if the Crown Knights had the door well in hand, the other primary entrance point to these chambers would be the tower window, no matter how difficult it was a climb.

"Yes, I would say Fireheart had one of the better depictions of Rozenalt and the Redmarch." He stated, his tone still light and conversational. Hmm. Dame Tyaethe still had the younger princess well in hand, it seemed. "Of late, it seems authors have tended to portray the Bloody Lord as more of a joke and one-off than a proper threat. At least Fireheart did some justice to the character."
If anything, I think I might've made my character a bit too heroic, I might look at tuning things down a bit

Someone has to be. Meanwhile, Izayoi's a walking war crime.
Nakano Nagi

Nagi had kept the conversation on speaker phone from the moment Matsuoka mentioned Yuzu's name. She groaned quietly to herself as the man's response, resigning herself to her new task. Sure, it wasn't like there was much of a choice, considering she was one of the only active field agents they had at the moment. But it was still a huge pain in the ass to track down a bunch of students she barely knew, never mind having to convince the one next to her to follow along as she did so. Plus Matsuoka would delay explaining anything until everyone was gathered up, probably. Motherfucker.

"Yeah, yeah, I hear you." Nagi sighed, keeping the conversation on speaker for Yuzu's benefit. "Get Taniguchi to send me and Shiratori that shit, alright? We'll probably meet up eventually." She very deliberately didn't bother using any honorifics for either. No point, if they weren't around to not hear it. "Gonna drop the call. If you ain't explaining shit, guess I'll have to do it myself. I'll head out once I know where the others are."

After hanging up, Nagi turned back to Yuzu with a resigned look, keeping her voice low so as to not attract any attention with the crazy shit she was about to spout.

"Alright, Gotoh-chan, right? Hear you're smart, so I better not have to explain all this more than once. You saw some freaky shit just now. Don't deny it, I did too. The short version of this is that app Strange Gospel is some supernatural crap. First time it shows you anything, it comes true. Second time, you see a full moon, a tower, a mask, and blood. Third time, well, there's a reason there's been rumors going around about disappearances." She really, really was not cut out to give these sorts of explanations.

"This all happened to me too. Only difference is I got lucky enough to get bailed out by the guy on the phone just not. Anyways, point is, come with me if you don't want to get jumped and probably killed. I know this sounds crazy, and really, I'm the worst person we've got to try and convince anyone. Still rather not see random people get killed though, so just save me the trouble and follow along, would you?"

@Pitsuji
Valerie Durand

Huh. That description sounded familiar. A super short girl with dark purple hair and long bangs? Hell, that Obelisk was in their class, wasn't she? Well, that made things easier.

"Right, sounds familiar. Pretty sure she's in the same classes we are." Valerie hopped off the crate she was sitting on, offering Leo an appreciative nod. "Appreciate you letting me know. And for not telling me to screw off the second I started talking about spirits." She made to leave, but not before some mental prodding from Ceruli reminded her of something.

Ugh, did she really just start unloading her baggage onto a complete stranger, even if he was a classmate? God, that was embarassing.

"Oh, uh..." Valerie turned back towards Leo for a moment, scratching her cheek awkwardly. "Sorry for just dumping half my crap onto you like that. My bad?"

@King Cosmos
@Ambra
I completely forgor about this earlier, but since you mentioned jobs being available later back in the int check, does this mean there'll be job changes/multiclassing later on?
I fucking lied, this came together quicker than I thought

Dragan Meszaros

The presence of ice around the battlefield reassured Dragan that at least Aleksiya was still present. Raising so many zombies at once while he was still weak drained him significantly, but there was strength yet to match these beasts in combat. Dragan leapt out of the way of the beast lunging at him, drawing his hammer back as he did so. Upon touching back onto the ground, the Death Knight dashed forward, bringing his hammer down onto the large beastman's skull to crush it to pieces.

Between Dragan's zombies and Aleksiya's ice, the battle in the outer chamber began to wind down. Dragan's skeleton was brought low by what remained of the horde, only for them all to be summarily crushed by the vampire lord shortly after. With the immediate threats taken care of, he spied the torn open door and hurried towards it.

"Damnation." Dragan murmured before calling out to his companions. "With me! I fear this may not be over yet. What minions I've remaining will be enough to warn us should more appear out here."
