I finished reading through this a bit and I'm also quite interested in playing around with this setting! Expect a lil something from me as well ^^

Edit: As a Sidenote, has anyone done anything involving Ultron? I didn't notice him being brought up at all in the character sheets but I wanted to check.

I've found those early worldbuilding posts are always tricky to find a balance with, so I've transitioned away from them for the most part in favor of introductory vignettes into my character's personal life, followed by immediate action.

I've got two pages written up in Google Docs so far. Just need to do some finishing touches and proofread, but I'll get that done tomorrow. I spent a lot of time shoveling today and want to spend the rest of my night relaxing before it's back to work tomorrow.

EDIT: Thursday, instead. Tuesday & Wednesday were rough for me.

I have written and re-written my second/third Hawkeye post about halfway over and over, and none of it is sticking. If I manage to get past this writer's block with the character I'm running headfirst into, I'd love to reapply. But as it stands, I think I need to concede defeat on Hawkeye and bow out for now.

Jeez, it's really been that long? Time flies after a new year rolls in...Seriously, apologies on that. I'll arrange for a Mysterio post sooner than later; Wednesday tops. Got caught up in some stuff (including a new game I've been looking forward to for a good handful of months finally rolling in), but I'll be sure to get back in the game.

Okie dokie, now that I've got things worked out for my game, I'll sit down and finally make another Static post. I just got word that the school I work at is canceled for tomorrow, so, assuming I don't lose power from the storm again, I'll spend Monday getting that post up.

After that second post, Static will be in a position to begin his search for heroes, and I'll be in a position to start collaborating with those who want to. Starting on the West Coast, of course.

Alrighty. I know I started this RP during a season where these games usually fall into a lull because we all have various IRL things that keep us preoccupied. So, I'm understandably being lax with the 14-day posting requirement for the moment. So long as everyone is dedicated to keeping this going at a steady rate, I don't mind if, for the time being, we take a week or so longer on average to post. After all, it's been about three weeks since I last posted until today.

That being said, I'm going to list the players who haven't posted in the last 14 days. This is not a warning as of this moment, but is merely a reminder and friendly nudge. In a couple of more weeks, I will revisit things and see if the posting requirement will continue to be lax or not.

Please let me know if you still have an interest in this RP. Again, this is not a rule enforcement post, as I am wanting to continue to be lax on posting right now during a typically stressful and busy season. However, I would still prefer to see something from all of you, if possible. I know the OOC hasn't been super active, so it's difficult to gauge who is still intending to get a post out and who has lost interest.

For those who are currently involved in the mini-event, please be mindful that events will require more active participation as there are other players waiting for their turns to post. And, ideally, a mini-event should be resolved in a handful of posts and last a month or so at most. I do understand, though, that the mini-events are a learning experience for us all.

In particular, @Redcord, you had expressed in the IC that Cap was going to involve himself in the event, but as he is currently not on scene as of @AndyC's latest post, it might be best to skip this current event so we don't add more to it. There will definitely be other events in the future for Cap to hop in on, and if you're needing help on finding a good plot point to get started on, you can PM me and I can help with that.

Similarly, if anyone else is having trouble figuring out where to put their character next, I am happy to help with that, too.

Once I figure out who is still dedicated to the RP, I'll be slowly updating the official timeline to include some player backstory elements over the next week or so.
