The Kingdom of Symphonia occupies what would be Australia. It’s a prosperous nation that has been revolutionized by Alchemy and one that is accepting of the Supernatural. The nation itself is a hot zone of Supernatural activity, a fact they were smart enough to advantage of. It's also a melting pot full on people and beings from around the world.

Sindria was a built over a battlescar of World War III as it’s a city built on a body of water that did not previously exist. Sindria is located in the center of Symphonia in a man made lake that was formed from some devastating weapon used during World War III. This seemed like a good location for the capital because it’s in the water at the dead center of the nation, so it would be easy to defend and draw forces from others areas of the nation. Sindria also doubles as a military stronghold and contain a few important military installations. Among the military installations is the Symphonian Alchemical Military Institute known by the acronym SAMI. It's quite literally the heart of Symphonia.
History
The nation of Symphonia initially started as just a fleet of high tech warships and submarines. The origins of the vessels are unknown as all insignia and such were removed from them. This fleet came upon this massive island, formerly known as Australia, and chose to settle there. It was descent sized land mass and their ships patrolled the waters around while colonists went on land to start a civilization. There weren't any sentient life forms found or any civilizations, so the colonization went as planned. The highest ranking officer, the Grand Admiral, took charge as the leader of the civilization and declared it the nation of Symphonia. They were a melting pot already because of the various origins of vessels in the fleet. However led of this prosperous nation spread and more immigrants came including supernaturals.
Government
Being Symphonia was lead by a military officer and initially composed of warships, the government of Symphonia would end up being a Stratocracy. The state, government, and military are all one and the same. At the top of the government is the Grand Admiral who's the President, Commander in Chief, and Monarch of Symphonia. The way Grand Admirals are chosen varies from succession to succession but most they are chosen by the previous one from the current pool of 5 Star Fleet Admirals. Below the Grand Admiral all government positions are held by commissioned officers.
Being able to vote or work in the government requires one to be in the military, these are known as full citizens upon completing their first two years of service. There isn't a mandatory active duty service requirement but there is a mandatory reserve requirement of 4 times a year for all able bodied permanent residents.
Society
The society is diverse and can vary in different places within the nation. However some things that are common is an extremely low rate of crime and a high rate of community participation. This is because the society drills into its citizens military values such as excellence, service, character, discipline, and more all for the sake of making more or less ideal citizens. The nation as a whole has a futuristic medieval feel to it because of Alchemy.
Even the public schools are military schools though only Officer Service Academies which are basically colleges require any commitment to the military. Though most students go into the Armed Forces in order to do their four years and become full citizens. There are private schools which resemble a normal Before Renaissance public school. (Think of their education system as very similar to JROTC and ROTC).
There's little discrimination which only exists between full citizens and those who aren't. Supernatural creatures or those who just are plain different from those around them are generally recognized as equal.
The Navy

The average Symphonian soldier has received military instruction from a young age, the result is that they’re naturally well trained soldiers. In basic training which each Symphonian goes through when they join some form of the Symphonian Armed Forces, they receive enough instruction in Alchemy to learn how to use military grade technology, and how to use some basic “inner energy” based Alchemy. They are of course taught so unarmed and armed mix martial arts.
The military of Symphonia is the Symphonia Navy, which all full citizens have and will serve in some capacity because it’s a requirement for full citizenship. This includes Supernaturals who often are placed in positions of value from the frontlines all the way to training those seeking to become Special Forces. There are of course things such as law enforcement and intelligence/defense agency.
Symphonia’s military is all basically one branch , The Navy, that operates in land, air, and sea. Every member is referred to as a Marine, each Marine normally has a combat ready service uniform and carries with them both a pistol and melee sidearm. Their equipment and specific training vary depending on what their job is. As the term Marine suggests, Symphonia's military is very naval based and involves a vast number of ships for both the air and on the sea, for certain types under the sea.
Enlisted
Marine Crewman: Marine crewman work on ships, defense control rooms, etc. they are basically those who do things like pilot ships, operate defense systems, communication systems, sensory systems, etc. They are the people who work on computer consoles staring at their screen understanding the information, reporting it to their commanding officer, and acting on it.
Marine Medic: They can be the first responders rushing to aid wounded soldiers on the battlefield to working in a med bay aboard a ship. These are rather intelligent individuals who are trained to work under more pressure than even a Marine Infantryman. In addition to a plethora of medical supplies they also receive extensive training in medical Ars Mundus. Depending on if they are something like a Battlefield Medic or not they may also receive the same kinds of equipment and training the type of units they work with do, so a medic who works with a Marine Infantry unit would receive a tech suit of armor and training on how be an Marine Infantryman.
Marine Infantry: Each enlisted Marine has a suit of hi tech armor. Marine Infantry are taught to fight in all sorts of situation and with all sorts of weapons. They have the capability to fight on land, in water, and in the air with its environmental adaption system and its flight system. The armor has food and water rations stored within a compression storage built into the armor. All this together makes Marines Infantry an all purpose soldier to be deployed to any sort of environment and situation. That is why they are the Marines and not called simply the army.
Each enlisted Marine Infantryman wears the same set of armor which shifts phases depending on primary weapon selection to ensure maximum efficiency, it even shifts its energy wings to match the weapon. The armors are equipped with a computer system designed to provide support to the user through such things as an HUD and communications management. The armor through the use of Alchemical interfaces with the user so they can operate it with thoughts, feelings, and impulses as well it enhanced their physical capabilities and sensory perception. The armor is basically powered and operated through the use of the user’s Alchemy, when the user becomes exhausted the armor also starts to lose power.
The primary weapons of the armor are generated from an energy matter conversion system built into the armor, ammunition as well is created by the armor this way. All primary weapons have firearm capabilities not just the ones that have the form of a firearms, though the ones in firearm form are able to firing varying ammunition. Secondary weapons are optional and can be attached to the outside of the armor. It’s common for a marine to carry both a pistol and a blade as secondary weapons. Marines also carry tactical equipment such as grenades and mines stored within their armor. There are many different unit types with their own specialties and weaknesses.
However not all marines are able to use all forms of the suit. All marines can use the basic form of the suit but depending on rank and specialty they can use more and different forms. Normal grade infantryman can use the basic form and for some on the higher end of that grade can use an additional form.NCO grade infantrymen are able to use up to 4 additional forms with SNCOs able to use 8. Specialists are outside this curve as they normally have the basic and their specialist form but can end up ranking up to an SNCO grade rank. Normal infantrymen cannot use forms meant for specialists.
Marine Mobile Infantry: The Symphonian military does not use tanks or fighter planes but instead uses the Mobile Infantry. The Mobile Infantry have the mobility of fighter planes and the firepower of tanks, there are even special models which are meant to eventually replace the role of a manned bombers but not drones. They generally use larger and more powerful tech suits than the normal infantry. The Mobile Infantry tech suits unlike the normal infantry tech suits come in all sorts of shapes and sizes depending on the situation. Some general traits are their ability to fight on land, in the air, and at sea despite being specialized of course for maybe one of the three.
Officers/Warrant Officers
To become an Officer the most basic way to do is learn how to properly use true Alchemy not just the inner energy based techniques. There are of course Officer training schools and such which specifically train soldiers on how to do that. The lowest Officer rank is Ensign which most officers start at. Warrant Officers are former Enlisted grade soldiers who become extremely skilled in the use of inner energy Alchemy, a particular weapon, a particular fighting style, or something of the sort. Both Warrant Officers and Officers gain the right to where custom combat uniforms and have custom equipment.
Commissioned Officers have to go through an officer training program or school(think OCS, senior level ROTC, or a Service Academy). While Warrant Officers skip this. Warrant Officers can go back and become Commissioned Officers.
Special Forces
The Special Forces are either humans who were accepting into this branch or Supernaturals. For humans in the Special Forces they are generally the ones using the newer and more experimental equipment. Different types of Supernaturals have different units, for example, werewolves would have their own unit separate from the normal humans. There are times when joint task forces between the different divisions of the Special Forces will be formed or times when Special Forces would have to fight alongside regular military forces.
The Elites
This is a status granted only by those in the Admiral grade or higher. Becoming an Elite removes you from the normal command structure, an Elite is able to order non Elites of a lower rank than themselves to do things but not normal soldiers of a higher rank then they are. But Elites, can’t be ordered by normal soldiers of a higher rank or other Elites. The only exception is if on a mission a team of Elites is assembled and a temporary chain of command is established for the sake of the mission. Elites are generally those who stands out among the other branches and possess something unique or uncommon about them. Elites are the best of the best and one must be an officer, warrant officer, or SNCO to even apply to become one for which they are examined by a panel of Admirals sometimes even up to as high as the Grand Admiral himself, who will accept or deny the prospective Elite. Elites will serve at their normal positions or jobs but can be requested or request to fill a different role. For example, an Elite's job could be to command a ship but he could end up being requested to lead a squad of Marine Infantryman into direct combat. So Elite's must be adaptable and capable to take on any role they are needed to take on.
R&D
The Research and Development division works endlessly with the Supernatural and Alchemy to develop new things for the Symphonian military. There are various projects which the brightest minds both Supernatural and Alchemy inclined can be assigned to. They don’t just develop new tech but also seek understand and expand theories behind different forms of Alchemy. The R&D also has a special project for using the implants of supernatural energies, forces, aura, bloods, flesh, or organs into humans to create supernatural super soldiers. They only use volunteers who then often become Special Forces or Elites depending on whether it was a one subject project or multiple subjects were made.
