Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Hum.

I have a few RPs...but I'm putting tentative interest in this.
Yep!

I'm looking forward to writing with you guys!

Anyways, have Nebet trying to be civil and introducing herself.
~Nebet~

In a room not far from where the officials had gathered to greet their new Pharaoh, was a kneeling woman dressed in a simple, white dress with relatively plain golden adornments. At her knees laid what appeared to be a simple, long metal pole with a fan at the end painted with gold and rich blue colors. Her eyes were closed, breathing was even and one might make the mistake of thinking she was sleeping in quite an odd fashion.

"ALL HAIL PHARAOH AMENHOTEP!"

The chant from the officials were quite loud, enough to reach her ears causing her to frown in slight displeasure. Really, now wasn't an exact moment for prayer or communing with the Gods, but she felt like she would need some guidance from the protector of Tombs. After all, today was the day. The day her life basically died. Ugh. She really didn't want to be here. She wasn't particularly interested in politics of any sort, especially serving some Pharaoh she had no knowledge of. Well, she had been making sure to 'read up' on him as one might say. She was going to be serving him from now on, so she had to at least know him somewhat.

A pampered royal child that was exiled after the murder of the Queen. Honestly, Nebet was expecting an arrogant brat that she'd have to look after. She had no interest in such things and had half a mind to simply leave - but she had been asked by the Head Priest to ensure the Pharaoh would have someone of upstanding Moral and Lawful standing to advise him. The priestess would be remiss to tell him she wouldn't. She owed him more than a little. She'd have suffered the worst fate a soul could be given had it not been for him - to be devoured by Ammit.

She opened her eyes slowly.

Nothing.

No guidance to be had. Lord Anubis was as silent as ever...as much as she found comfort in religion, there were many things she had yet to fully understand. She doubted she would ever understand things completely, but she would try regardless. If she didn't then what was left for her? Her parents wanted nothing to do with her after what she had done, and after death she would simple be...gone. Sighing, she stood, picking up the ceremonial object at her knees. She supposed now was the time to go greet the new Pharaoh, wasn't it? With a serious expression, she made her way back to the other Viziers - Iaret would likely be coming to find them quite soon.

Nebet arrived just in time, to have Iaret collect them. The priestess for the most part remained quiet, sandals making light footsteps upon the floor as she tried to reign in a small bit of apprehension and instead listen to the possible chattering of the other soon to be Viziers, as well as any of the other officials. Eavesdropping was not exactly polite...but it had been the most difficult habit of hers to break. It seemed many of the officials were quite concerned about someone accompanying the Pharaoh...

Soon enough, they were led to Amenhotep room where he was waiting for them.

This was her first time seeing the Pharaoh, and this had most certainly not been what she had been expecting. She had been expecting him to be young to be sure, but he looked...well, there was a certain naivety about him. As Iaret explained who they were, he said he already had someone - Zamonth to be his 'Vizier', to which, the old scribe Aperel responded in quite the rude manner...just in time for this Zamonth to overhear him.

Aside from the rather funny comedic timing, this was not going to go well. Judging from this foreigners reply, Aperel hadn't been too off about his assessment of his personality. However, it was also rather apparent the young Pharaoh put a bit of trust him Zanmoth. Making enemies with him would likely result in less trust overall for both the Viziers and only shove a wedge between them, which could only sow seeds of distrust and chaos later. Nebet's personal opinion of Zamonth aside...

"Now Aperel," Nebet turned her head towards the older gentleman. "While I am certain your years of experience are invaluable, treating a guest of the Pharaoh with such rudeness is quite disrespectful. This...foreigner, Zamonth, is obviously someone Pharaoh Amenhotep has quite a lot of trust in." She spoke in an even and polite, but firm tone. "It will serve no purpose to antagonize or be rude. We are all here to serve, so we should make an attempt to at least resolve things between ourselves with civility." Finished speaking, she turns her head towards Zamonth. Trying to use intimidation...it was quite an obvious ploy she had seen multiple times in her past. Using ones impressive physical form to try to bully others. While effective at times she had started to find such displays to be rather...crude, and the method of fools who couldn't resolve things peacefully.

"However, Zamonth," She stared up at the large man before Aperel could offer any sort of rebuttal, her stern gaze narrowing slightly in displeasure though her voice was still calm and even. She wouldn't be intimidated so easily by him. "I can not say exactly why you were not summoned - but you are not a Vizier and this meeting was for us to meet the Pharaoh. I doubt that anyone was attempting to insult you, this meeting simply was not one you were privy too because you are not needed. While it might be true that you are skilled in combat...the Pharaoh needs people who know how things are run here. Viziers are more than guards - we are here to advise the Pharaoh how best to rule, and carry out his orders. Resorting to threats of violence and insults towards us will earn you no love among the Viziers or other Officials." She turned her gaze to the Pharaoh, taking a step away from the group, bowing.

"Forgive this humble Priestess for speaking out of turn, Pharaoh. I mean no insult in speaking against your friend, I merely wish to inform and avoid conflict if possible. I am Nebet, Priestess of Anubis who was tasked with instructing you in the ways of the Law and guide you in perhaps more...personal matters that can not be so easily defined by them."
Ah, awesome. First posts up. I'll see if I can have Nebet do something after some breakfast~

Liferusher said the roommates were randomized, So I am not sure who Coralia is going to be rooming with. Might want to ask them directly.

Awesome awesome. Nebet has been moved to the Character tab~
~Livia~

"If you leave Fia dear," Livia called out as she left. "You're not getting any answers tonight. I do believe my exact words were 'sit'. I do not see you doing much of that." Livia replied with a small sigh. Well, at least the water was a bit warmer now. She had hoped Fia would do it in a little more...controlled manner, but that would come later she supposed. She seemed....calmer, or at least tired now. Livia was trying to make a point here. That even if you didn't like something, you would have to put up with it and do it anyways. Even if everything was telling you not to do something, to do it anyways. How else could someone better themselves?

It seemed Fia still had a long way to go, though.

~Cynthia~

"Consider yourself lucky." Cynthia scoffed. Of course they were good. Mugi's jealousy was well placed. She was quite lucky to be receiving such treatment. She had never even offered such a thing to anyone else before. Soon enough though, Cynthia had finished with the massage of her shoulders and back. Doing anything else would require a bit more room and time she didn't particularly want to invest at the moment.

So the Maid took a seat back in the water next to the Yuki-Onna. Honestly though, it'd be rather nice to be on the receiving end for once.

~Miren~

"I...see." Miren said, narrowing her eyes at Eith for a few moments. That had been rather light on the explanatory side and hadn't really helped her much at all. With a sigh, Miren shook her head, bunny ears flopping around lightly as she nibbled lightly on some carrots. Well, she supposed that was that then. Not much else she could do at the moment. Even if she did find this Myrilla, what exactly could she do? She wasn't skilled at anything really, aside from her knowledge about different magics, theories, and other academic subjects. "T-thank you for the information I suppose."

Amazing? Was it that amazing? She had never really considered her abilities to be all that fascinating. It was quite simple, and dare she say weak when you got down to it. Perhaps it was simply because she had been doing it for the past three hundred years or so? Either way, she was happy her abilities were called amazing, even if she didn't show it.

The small spirit nuzzled its head against Ash' hand. It'd feel cool, like she was touching a smooth surface similar to glass of sorts. Unfortunately, even if she was happy and Ash was impressed with her skills, the small spirit couldn't maintain the form for very long. Odette hadn't put much energy into it, after all, and there was a limit to how much time she could make it last no matter how much effort she put into it. Moments after Ash' pet it, the small creature disappeared in a puff of blue colored embers. Odette looked away in a slightly dismissive seeming manner. It always bothered her to watch them disappear like that. Granted, she could just reuse the spirit or spirits after they had a small rest, but it still was rather disconcerting.

"They...don't last long." The ghost commented. She turned her head towards the buildings, and then to Ash's luggage. "Dorms?..." It wouldn't be too hard for her to find them. All she'd have to do would float through a few rooms and find them. She was pretty curious as to who her roommate would be as well - she hoped they weren't afraid of ghosts. "Could help...look."

~Ustha-Kth, Bea~

Wasn't the proper way to store food? She wasn't storing it. She had already eaten it. She was just...really good at making things disappear. Well, it seemed like that for the most part Tsuki didn't have all that many problems with her, unlike Lily, Edward, and Ascot. She picked up some fish from the plate he had given her, starting to nibble on it as he continued to speak. Ocean? Well, it was an ocean of sorts...not the kind he was thinking of, but it was the closest thing in the human language she could use to describe it. When he finally noticed her extra appendages wrapping around him, Bea simply tilted her head with a small giggle. Personal space? What was that even?

He then proceeded to lecture her about not touching people.

She didn't understand. She had been trying to understand why people didn't like being touched. Some people seemed fine with it, but others didn't seem fine with it at all. Tsuki seemed at least accepting of it, but people like Lily seemed to take offense with it. Why? She couldn't understand why one person would be against it when another accepted it. Not to mention that touching people was just simply fun to her. She couldn't really 'interact' with people in the normal way other humans interacted with other humans. A simple act of touching, was something she valued greatly...

"Hmm, this little birdie does not understand, little cub." Her tentacles retreated back to wherever they came from, disappearing from sight quickly. She said nothing else though, letting Tsuki leave. If he had somewhere else to be, she might as well let him leave. Besides, it'd be rude not to eat the food. Granted, it'd take her all of five seconds to eat the entire plate. A tentacle wrapped around the plate, disappearing into her robes like the piece of cake had.

She got up, walking out of the cafeteria shortly after Tuski had left.

Well, even if she didn't understand she'd keep doing it until she did.

"Ah..." She giggled, stopping just outside of the door to the cafeteria, standing outside. She turned her head to the left. "Little goat, fur so black...whatever are you doing here? Mother needs not worry. Little bee is doing well..." She started walking again, heading towards the Dorms. "Ah, such a pleasant breeze. Perhaps the clouds would like to dance?" Suddenly making a swift left, she turned and decided to find a high place she could be alone in.

She noticed Okami off to the side, making a mental note. If she could get close he could likely easily dispatch the snakes...but it'd be a bit difficult. She had no idea how she could get the snakes to move over there. Before she could think though, the snakes made their own move, trying to aim for her hands. Unfortunately for them that wasn't exactly the best move to make. The elf may not have been the most coordinated of people out there, but she did know how to fight at least a little, and more importantly how not to not get hurt. With a swift motion, she angled the blade of her sword downwards, catching the fangs of the snake with it.

With the natural weight of her blade, and her rather ample amount of strength, she was able to swing the blade to the side and shove the main body of snake off of her and the blade, towards Okami so he could hopefully finish it off.
