Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Hmm...meh, maybe this could be fun? She wasn't too keen on the whole working thing still, but eh. She had nothing better to do, really, aside from tinker with computer parts and maybe some programming. Well, and do her usual various shenanigans online in her usual haunts. So maybe she could get into this with a bit. Though, the fact they so dismissed her question made her a bit irritated. They didn't exactly give a person a lot of room to agree to this or even know what they were getting into.

Eh~

Arguing or talking about it would be tiring, so it'd be easier to go along with it for now. Maybe she could get...Impmon? To make her a delicious sandwich or something. She was feeling a bit hungry.

"Hey, human," Impmon poked her side. "Quit starin' off into space and say somethin' already."

"Hmm...not enough land. Wouldn't make for a good pillow." Rachel said with a small smile towards the gathered people. What she could be talking about was anyones guess, but Impmon seemed to at least assume it was something from the look on the digimon's face.

"...out of all the things ya could say, you say that?"

"Mhm~" Rachel replied with a hum, stretching as she did so. She should probably stand up, shouldn't she? More importantly though, what should she do? Small talk wasn't exactly her forte. She'd just go along with whatever everyone else did, for now. Her sleepy seeming gaze turned to Yumeko and Vivian, watching them silently.

Hmm...it should be...around here somewhere shouldn't it? It had been awhile since she had been in Auguston, and her sense of direction was likely not exactly what one would consider stellar in any fashion, but she had lived in the area of a year or so, so she thought she had a fairly good grasp of the area. Well. She should have at least, but judging from the way the place looked...was it Auguston? It looked so different. So much more...glum. There were a lot less people playing dead last time she was here, that was for sure. Did the funny death men come again and take people to their sleep? No no, there was a lot less fire involved if they did that...were the living ones burning the dead? They made such sweet smells, at least. Perhaps she should take a nibble...

Suddenly, her steps were halted by some large bear thing and caused her to stumble backwards.

"Hey, watch it!"

Oh wait, it wasn't a large bear thing. It was a large living thing without any fur whatsoever. How sad. If it was a bear, it'd make for a fluffy pillow. Still, her friends had taught her manners and she should apologize for running into the large man!

"Sorry," She tilted her head to the side under her cloak. "The smell of the dead is so sweet...I was distracted, since It was making me hungry." Great, that was a good apology! Straight, honest, sincere, and to the point! "It is a pity you are burning them - we could have been such great friends." Also good! Her friends told her she should always try and appear friendly if she wanted to have a good life. Granted, for the past few years she hadn't exactly succeeded. People throwing knives and trying to do stabby things to you were not friends.

Wait the man was giving her the most queer look. He looked a bit...sick, actually? Maybe shocked. As a good, caring individual she should ask if he was alright.

"Sir, are you alright? You look a bit sick...maybe you should sleep? It is a luxury some dead don't have. Maybe don't take it for granted?" Oh right! She was in a kind of a hurry, wasn't she? She should make it to the guild. She knew where it was. Couldn't be too far from here, nope! Reaching up, she pat the man on the head. "I have somewhere to be, but perhaps you should take a break. Maybe try not burning the sleeping ones? Perhaps it might help you sleep better." Before the bewildered man and onlookers could even say anything, Lia started walking again towards her destination. A small place called The Lazy Dragon.

Lia stepped inside, making sure her cloak still concealed most of her body.

The air inside smelled unpleasant - the smell of the living. Not that she disliked the little live birdies, but her and them tended to not get along well. Over the few years of what one could call her life, she had learned to avoid places that smelled heavily of them and stuck to more...secluded places where one such as her wouldn't be bothered all that often, except for the occasional work. At least it looked appropriate - a bit run down, but that meant it had a certain charm to it Lia definitely liked.

After a quick survey, the Elf found what she was looking for - a curtained off area that read Adventurer's guild written on a sign over it. Well, if she was looking for work that was where she needed to be. She hadn't been in regular employ of the guild since...well, since her friends decided to take a nap. Seemingly ignoring everyone else in the Inn, Lia walked into the area and was greeted with a rather pleasantly empty room.

Just a...cute furry little horse man and a shady looking man with magic hands. Her eyes lingered on the centaur as she walked in, standing right in the curtain. It was likely fairly awkward having this cloaked figure staring at him, come to think of it. She should stop that and apologize for staring. Staring was rude, yes?

"...sorry for staring, but you're fluffy." There! A good apology with a compliment! Haha, she was doing pretty well at this, yes? And her napping friends were always so worried about leaving her alone. Feeling like she had succeeded in making herself appear as an upstanding citizen and a little tiny bit more human, the cloaked Elf walked to a far part of the table and took a seat, deciding not to lower her hood just yet.

It would be potentially dangerous to do that. She may be dead, but she definitely liked living and attracting attention to herself was not a good way to continue to be not-dead more.
Looks like I won't be able to get a post up this evening - I'll definitely get one chugged out tomorrow, though.

EDIT: Well, never mind. Couldn't sleep. Have fun with Lia, people

Ralia reacted more quickly than Yvonne or Claire could have. The small pokemon quickly hopped in front of Claire, the red horn on the Ralt's head glowing with psychic energy as it stood between pokemon and trainer. She didn't actually attack the other poekmon but if Snubbul took even a single more step towards Claire, the psychic type likely wasn't going to play around. Thankfully, at least Claire had sense enough not to attempt petting the pokemon after that. The redhead practically jumped backwards in a fairly dramatic fashion, holding her arms in a x-like fashion in front of her, scrambling to her feet in a matter of seconds.

"Woaw, for something so cute he certainly, uh, has a lot a spunk." Claire said with a light chuckle. "That's cool, glad to see the competition is so lively, heh~" Reaching down, she picked up Ralia before she did anything. She didn't think the small pokemon would, but she didn't want the two of them to start fighting over something like this. Thankfully the pokemon didn't protest. "Hey, anyways, I should get going. Got a loooot of training to do before I hit the Contest hall. Wanna meet up later and do some shopping or something? We could practice for the contests a bit."

Actions: If Yvonne or Eugene doesn't say anything, Proceed to route 11. Without an umbrella. Because Claire is smart.
So

I accidentally unsubbed when I was cleaning my sub folder a few days ago, and completely didn't realize this had even started.

I'm a smart slime.

I'll throw something up with Lia soon! Just need to get in the right mood for writing a spacey undead elf.

I think the problem here us getting the more zealous parts of Beacon to agree to a cease fire too. That's the problem of being in a large organization, and Alicia certainly can't guarantee that someone wouldn't act of their own initiative.

Now if the monsters/dark magical girls/horrors were willing to maintain good behavior amongst themselves by force there might be some place to go, but somehow I doubt anyone is going to agree to that.

I suppose that is true. For this alliance to realistically work it'd need to somehow make it above to all the major leading factions and all of them agree to policing themselves, regardless of the circumstances.
@Flamelord

I mean

Would they not accept a cease-fire? They wouldn't be helping the dark girls or the monster girls, but they wouldn't have to attack them either.

I think it would be the best solution considering how things are currently going...though, I suppose someone other than Chloe could have made the offer in a much less condescending manner. The amount of hostility from everyone else though isn't helping either, I suppose.

Though, one wouldn't wonder if they are the good guys, they wouldn't take the higher road here.

Well, it seemed things were going along swimmingly, heh. Chloe stood atop the small earth pillar, looking over at the Beacon girls. Of course they'd uselessly be against such things as co-operation with others that believed differently than they. Such close minded fools, really. Chloe watched with mild interest as a monster boy and a few others started talking rather heatedly. Things seemed to be going the way she had imagined, then. What was curious though, was a certain peeping tom watching them from some sort of magical portal.

Ho~

Curious.

Now who could they be? A servant of a horror? A shy little monster? Perhaps just another interested party that didn't want to get too close? Well, whoever they were they had her attention since they were doing their best to hide their little portal. Unfortunately for them, she had a few tricks up her sleeve to make such illusions pointless. She turned her head towards the portal briefly. Chloe's gaze lingered on the portal, making it quite clear to whoever was watching they weren't being as subtle as they thought, but ultimately did nothing. Perhaps they'd meet in the future, for now she had more pressing matters to attend to. Maybe she'd get Isana to look into it.

Now, she had a few words for the other girls that were bickering. She hopped down from the stone pedestal, giving a brief not to Penny but for the most part not saying anything. She'd say hello to her companion later. For now, she walked over to the beacon girls as one of theirs had just finished making a rather reasonable statement. Ho~

"What's this?" Chloe said, walking over to the group. "Reasonableness from one of the Beacon? Ho, and here I thought tonight was going to be boring." She said with a smug grin towards Janet. Her voice was not exactly the most friendliest of ones, and definitely carried a hint of smugness and superiority to it.

"You sound reasonable, so I like you for now," Chloe turned her head towards Alicia and Natasha. "Your companions, not so much. Misunderstood? Please, Beacon, your people actively hunt those that don't want to cause trouble like monster man here, not to mention the fact they harass me when I'm not even doing anything but shopping. It's rather ridiculous, you know." Chloe turned her head towards Janet.

"They may not be trying to 'demonize' us, but they shouldn't be so quick to judge what the 'right path' is, should they? Unless they're tyrants trying to control people for their own goals...but no, the Beacon would never do that, would they? Their too self-righteous." Chloe chuckled, the smug grin never wavering. "You know, I really should admire the beacon - all that control and so called 'do gooding' when all they do is annoy innocent people, masquerading as a force of good. It's quite hilarious, I couldn't come up with a better method for controlling people if I tried." Chloe's orb spun slowly in the air, coming to a rest in the palm of her hand.

"But you know, perhaps there's a way you angelic tyrants and the rest of us little people could get along, hm?" Chloe continued. "The reasonable one of you makes a good point. Perhaps while we don't have to work together, a cease fire could be written, hm? Some sort of agreement to not bother the other." While perhaps the method of delivery could have been much better delivered by anyone else but Chloe, she liked to think it was the best solution here.

Isana for the most part leaned against the stone pillar, hands folded across her chest. She didn't have anything to add, save a yawn. When she saw Penny though, she gave the other girl a bright grin and friendly wave.

"Hey, Penny!" Isana said cheerfully. "Didn't expect to see you here. That patron...Laat, decide to sing kumbaya with everyone else or you just here for my autograph and to tell me I'm pretty? It's alright, no need to be shy about it."

~Charlotte LaChance~

Relax? She thought she was about as relaxed as she could get, but maybe not. Besides, relaxing seemed like a bad idea when one was trying to balance on something. Still, if Aislinn said so she should at least attempt to 'relax' a bit. It wasn't exactly easy, though with Aislinn's help she was able to manage a bit. By the end of the next hour though, she was more than a little sore. She hadn't ever sit still for so long in her life. At least, she had never been sitting in one position the entire time.

"Urgh, I am sore." Charlotte complained, ignoring the cat comment. What came out of Aislinn's mouth next though, caused the Alchemist to stop in her tracks, turn her head towards the native and give her the most bewildered look one could possibly have mustered. Aislinn didn't exactly strike her as the type to just say something like that out of the blue for giggles, unlike Cait. Which meant either she had Aislinn all wrong, or she genuinely thought she was helping.

Well, either one was annoying and a bit troubling.

"I, uh..." For a few seconds Charlotte had to figure out how to even begin to reply to such an absurd idea. "Aislinn, you are so completely off the mark I can't even form a proper reply." Charlotte simply stared blankly at the other woman. "L-look, my people do not have...'springtime', as you call it." She continued in an even tone. She had heard Cait mention it a few times, and could hazard a guess as to what exactly that meant. "It's all this...touching and being seen without clothing is just getting a bit embarrassing unless it's with a lover." Realizing that the native might not have a notion of what that word meant, she continued. "Typically, being seen without clothing is considered rude and uncultured, and touching people where I am from tends to happen only between friends and acquaintances, and is little more than a handshake or a small pat on the shoulder. Maybe a hug, if its a relative or a friend. Anything more intimate is reserved for a lover." Charlotte took a seat next to Aislinn, stretching again.

"To be honest, I've never even understood all this...touching required of people in certain social situations. It's nothing more than a nuisance."
