Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

It was a good question Selvina posed, actually. If the hound couldn't call people by names, then there was a chance she didn't call herself by her own name either, but rather a title of some sort. Still, not something she was going to linger on. Considering she hadn't elected to call herself something else now that she could, she wasn't going to press the issue.

"I see...thank you, Katherine." The rabbit smiled. "Uhm, I dislike being rude but I need to get back to my shop. Some...hooligans made a mess of things." The rabbit sigh. "Made an entire section of shelves a mess and even stole a book! The worst part is they didn't even leave using the door. Busted right through the front windows!" The rabbit looked absolutely dejected and was quite obvious she wasn't looking forward to cleaning up the mess left behind by a certain demon and ninja.

"If there's nothing else, I suppose Eith and I can leave for now. I'm probably going to be cleaning the rest of the evening."

Dice? Ah...whoops~
I must have missed that when I read over everything.

I'm fine with stats as long as they're only more or less used as a rough guideline, but unfortunately if the game will be employing dice I'll likely leave. Don't let that stop you from using it if the others want to, of course, I've just never had any good experience with dice.
~Isabella~

@Everyone Present

A few more people made their presence known, finally having decided to get a move on. Isabella herself, despite wanting to go on ahead did, realize, that it would be an incredibly stupid thing for now. While she wasn't keen on relying on the others...for now it'd probably be better than ending up jumped by something ten times her size that wanted to nibble on her in not the fun way. Still didn't mean she was going to make an attempt to socialize, though. They were here for a reason and she wanted to get that done sooner rather than later.

“For someone so eager to explore, you’re strangely cautious.”

Isabella frowned slightly, casting a sideways glance towards Aiv.

“Got second thoughts after diving down the hellhole, kid?”

"No," Her expression for the most part remained unchanged and emotionless. "Going somewhere on my own would simply be stupid." She scoffed lightly, her gaze turning back to the hallway. "I am not that reckless." The passage before her was narrow to say the least. Room enough for them to walk comfortably through at least, but it would make fighting somewhat difficult if they were jumped by something, and judging from the atmosphere...that was almost a given.

Aside from the pale light though, there wasn't much to see. The first thing she noticed however, was a faint scent different from the rot of this chamber. An unpleasant, medicinal smell. Some sort of plant like herbs? It felt oddly familiar to her. Perhaps she could use them in some sort of ritual or holy ceremony? She hadn't a clue where the thought came from, but it seemed appropriate. She'd have to see for herself the source of the smell.

The light that illuminated the passage itself shimmered weakly in the distance, shadows skimming across its surface temporarily but otherwise obscured. The interesting thing however, was how the light was neither stable. As if it was shifting slightly. Perhaps some sort of living illumination? Peering further down the hallway, there seemed to be a number of faint objects at the end of the hallway, barely staying in focus long enough to make them out before fading out.

For now, it seemed safe enough. The only thing to note was a slight rumble, that caused small ripples to form in the murky black water. It lasted only a moment, but whatever it was came from deep, deep, beneath the earth.

"Hey how many more people are we waiting on to arrive?"

"I say we try one of those, At least we can see where they go."

"Unlike some of our...comrades." She grumbled to herself, turning from the passage and heading back to the small grouping of misfits.

"While you all were still conveniently sleeping, I took the liberty of taking a look at one of the passages." Isabella said finally spoke up, tone indicating mild annoyance and disdain. "It looks safe enough. I can't see anything down the northern passage, at least." She glanced back towards the second illuminated passage. "A large group would draw too much attention, and we could probably cover more ground if we weren't all together. I suggest splitting into two groups that could reasonably compliment one another for best effect."

Speaking in this capacity seemed somewhat familiar to her. Perhaps she had done it before? Hmm...having so many vague feelings of Deja Vu and no inkling of answers was annoying.

"I would like to take the northern Passage. There is a vaguely medicinal scent that lingers in the air that I am curious to the origin of." She continued, tone somewhat indicating she expected the others to follow her instructions and what she thought seemed to be perfect reasoning and planning.

"That's...n-not exactly the best of ideas, Sel."
Miren replied with a slight frown. "Erm...that type of seal sounds complex, it might have something hidden in the deeper layers of the binding designed to be more...dangerous. I've seen my fair share of magic seals in my travels. I may not have magic, but I'm one of the better ones when it comes to reading them!~" She giggled lightly, before returning to the topic at hand.

"A-anyways, we don't even know if it was that easy to break, Sel." Miren continued. "There's no telling how long the seal has been there, or even how many times it took for this to happen to weaken it as it is." The rabbit shook her head, scratching one of her ears lightly as she thought. "There are far too many unknowns to reach a reasonable conclusion yet - more than we have at least. We do have a lead though," She looked over to Katherine. "Yes, she has 'overheated' before, but not quite so like this. Normally it just happens and she sort of...forgets whatever she was thinking about in the past five minutes or so. Is there anything else you can tell us, Katherine?"
~Senna~

@Hammerman@13org@Lugubrious

Senna, for the most part remained silent for their travels. She'd speak if spoken too of course, in her somewhat catty and flirtatious manner...but for the most part the demoness didn't seem keen on conversation. Not that she was trying to be purposefully rude, of course. She was simply trying her best to adjust. It seemed some of her class perks were getting a tad bit too...real, for her. Most notably the anger and agitation she felt simply from doing nothing. The other two traveling with her likely would have noticed her slightly agitated state as they walked.

She'd just brush it off as boredom though...which wasn't far from the truth.

Traveling through the forest managed to keep her mind at ease, though. She had never really liked forests - she preferred the hustle and bustle of the city. Noise was comforting, helped keep her mind distracted and drown out any negative thoughts she had. Probably explained why she moved right to the middle of the noisiest apartment building she could find...but that was a thought of a different life, wasn't it?

Thankfully, the trek down the mountain wasn't a very difficult one, and after a bit of walking it seemed they might get some...company, as well.

As Senna walked down the worn dirt road, she heard the caravan before it even got there. Merchant of some sort? She liked to think she had good ears, especially considering her abilities. It sounded like there was merchandise or at least a lot of items rustling around in the back. She turned her head towards the man, most of her armor covering her entirely and likely very easily concealing most of her figure and gender.

...and her race.

The demon horns protruding from her head could easily be marked off as decoration for the armor, and her eyes were invisible beneath the helmet. The only thing that could possibly give it away is her tail, but she was fairly certain she could charm her way into an explanation about it. She smiled beneath her helmet. Well...perhaps this would be a good time to test whether or not how welcome 'demons' were here? It'd be better to do it out in the middle of a road than reveal herself in the middle of a city then have the entire city guard after her. She would have said something herself, but selena was quick to pounce on their introductions.

"Hello! Nice morning, isn't it?"

Hmm, she supposed it was.

"Yes, we are! We're now going back after finishing a quest actually!"

A little white lie...amusing, at least. It'd be nice to see where exactly this line of questioning went. For the most part, She'd remain silent still, resting her hands on her hips and gazing idly at the man from under her grey colored armor as her tail flicked idly in impatience. No doubt this man would be sensing some form of anxiety or uneasiness from being around her, while at the same time not entirely able to look away.

She was a demon, after all. It was only natural. Perhaps...she should gauge this mans reaction to a demon? See exactly what she'd be in for if she headed into town? She had half a mind to keep walking, honestly.

~Tania and Lena~

@drewccapp@Spanner@Lugubrious

For the duration of their venture north, Tania and Lena would stay with Vander and Cain. Despite the demons insistence otherwise, Lena found both of them to be rather pleasant company, unlike a certain fairy who made a point to constantly pull the Demon Lords ears in a mischievous manner every time and use Vander's head as a bed to lay on occasionally. It wasn't until the weather clearly turned colder that the fairy decided to return to Lena, and take residence with the Elf's armor.

"Achoo!"

There was a tiny muffled sneeze that came from under Lena's breastplate.

"AAARGH why's it so cold not even Lena's great bosom can keep me waaarm~"

"Would you please keep my bosom out of this?" Lena's face reddened slightly, but didn't linger on the topic. "I told you it was going to get colder if we traveled in this direction, Tania."

"I knnnow. Argh, why does winter even exist? It's silly and stupid and my wings are about to freeze oooof."

"Hmm..." The Elf frowned. As much as Tania was childishly complaining, the Fairy wasn't likely just doing that. She had never liked the cold and being as small as she was, she didn't entirely handle it all too well. They could have turned around before now, she supposed, but the Fairy had been insistent that they travel with the others. As well as Lena knew her...she'd say the Fiary was extremely lonely and more than a little terrified. Of what, the Elf wasn't sure, but it wasn't her place to ask questions. She just had to make sure Tania was taken care of and as comfortable as she could.

"I think...I see smoke from a home not too far away." The elf pointed her free hand towards the direction of the smoke.

"E-eh? R-really!" Tania made the mistake of poking her head up from Lena's armor the moment a chilling gust of wind blasted them, sending the fairy shivering back into her shelter. Thankfully, it didn't take them long to reach the small village.

Whiteside, the name of it was.

"...needs more trees. Maybe make a garden. Would be better than this I-I-achoo!" Tania sneezed again, bravely sticking her head out from the armor again to peek at the village. Lena gave her a small pat on the head, but before she could say much else, someone who rather was in quite a bit of a hurry nearly plowed over all of them while riding a horse. The nerve! Lena barely had enough time to move out of the way - it'd have been bad for the horse to run face first into her shield.

"Someone is in a hurry..." Lena frowned, though for the most part ignored the horse unless her companions decided to do something.

"O-oh, okay." Miren replied with a troubled sigh. She was really hoping Katherine could help here without Livia's help...if only because that's what Eith was more comfortable with. Still, if Eith seemed okay with it now she supposed that was that then. She should probably get back to the store, then. As Eith spoke however, one of her ears twitched curiously. Wait a minute...

"E-eh? Eith? Did you just call me Miren?" The rabbit asked, tilted her head to the side. That was...odd. Very odd. In the short time she had known the hound she had only been referred to as Bunny. "And Selvina as Selvina?" Come to think of it, she had used Katherine's name earlier as well. She had been too worried about Eith herself to really pick up on it, but this was definitely odd!
