I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio
Hello! Welcome to my little bio.
Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).
Isil was definitely not thinking this was going to be 'right up her alley'. Ugh, healing magic wasn't her forte to begin with. Oh sure, she was a high-elf and objectively probably would be if she was good at it...but still. Isil shook her head. She could do this, right. She could definitely do it. As new students filtered into the room, Isil mostly kept to herself, but greeted each of them with a friendly smile, having already been introduced a bit to a few of them. Curiously though...she was the only high elf in the class. odd. She was expecting at least one or two more.
Well, that was fine.
She'd just have to work hard to be an exemplary member of the high elf race. That meant she'd need to be better than any of these humans whilst not being too proud about it. The only other student of note, was an older one. He was well equipped, and he hadn't been previously on the list. This filled Isil with a number of questions. There was the possibility that the headmistress had just straight up lied to her, but there was also the possibility this man was someone of importance.
Hm, she'd keep him in the back of her mind. Wouldn't be very nice or good to stare. So the elf settled in, and waited for lessons.
Flopping around like a ragdoll? True, but how incredibly rude. Eirwen simply gave him a deadpan expression as she was shoved back arms length, not doing a whole lot to resist. In all, that wasn't the reaction she was hoping for. Ah, how boring and tiring. She didn't even notice where Zeke was touching. In fact she was leaning into him, as if she wasn't even capable of standing on her own as she used his arms for support. When he rather abruptly pulled away, she nearly fell forward into the guy again.
"Hmm...like them?" Eirwen asked all-too nonchalantly to Zeke, like she was asking him casually what the weather was. "Or do you like ones like Leanne? There is such a thing as too big-ah?" Eirwen complained mildly as she was lifted by Leanne and brought to her side as another person she was familiar with made her presence known. "Ah, Leanne if you're going to carry me at least give me a piggy back so I can use your head as a pillow. Not as good as your lap but still..." She swiveled her eyes lazily towards Bhu, greeting her with a yawn. Attention? Pfft, she hated attention. Attention was tiring. She didn't want attention, she just wanted to find some place to curl up and sleep and eat junk food for the rest of eternity.
"No idea Bhu. I just woke up barely an hour ago..." She replied lazily. She generally didn't pay attention in classes anyways, and even if she did she had zero interest in learning anything. She turned her gaze back to Zeke as she tried to sink into Leanne's side. She considered telling the poor kid he ran into her and he should be the one watching where he was going, but she wasn't that cruel. At least, normally. Besides, he was being oddly adorable. Not as adorable as Leanne was, but still adorable. Hmm...maybe if she was nice she could get free stuff from him later. She'd get reparations for her bag of chips one way or another!
...but being nice was tiring. Bhu and Leanne were just about the only ones she reserved niceness so. Moreso Leanne but that was an entirely different matter.
"...Hey, face-blind-person. What's your name?" She could at least manage that much at least, though. Asking peoples name was appropriate and not too energy consuming in situations like this. Not that she really cared too much in the end.
Ceri is a rather diminutive, unassuming girl. Standing roughly at 5'3". Most of her appearance is hidden under her robe, which she never seems to ever take off. What people can see, however, is locks of pure white hair, a pair of bright blue eyes and every so often a flash of pale skin.
"A-ah! sorry. I-I'm not really...that good at talking, but if you don't mind...could we?"
Basic Info
Name:: Ceri
Nickname/Alias:: N/A
Gender:: Female
Age and date of birth:: 17, 30th of December, supposedly.
Guild:: Harpy's wing, guild mark is located on her left palm and is black in color.
Rank:: B
Personal Information
Personality:: Ceri tries. She honestly does. Unfortunately, her timid nature and tendency to flee, and her massive amount of self-doubt really doesn't help. Running is first nature to her. Fighting hardly ever even crosses her mind, unless she absolutely must or is backed into a corner where she can not run. You know what they say. Never corner a frightened animal - she is quite adept at magic and will use it to her full advantage, if she must.
As far as others goes, she is about as friendly as they come, though her social anxiety can become somewhat detrimental to social interactions. She has had very little dealings with other people in the past, aside from her 'father' - who always taught her to be wary of others. Somewhere along the line, this turned into fear of others in general. Still, she tries to be friendly, and get along with others, and remain positive despite her shortcomings.
However, she does have a rather...darker side if pushed too far or if she becomes stressed. Often times, she internalizes a lot of sarcastic comments and snark and colorful language. Even she has a limit.
History:: Ceri never knew her parents, where she actually comes from, or the real identity of the man who raised her. Her earliest memories are simply of waking up in a bed in his lab. She was just a child then, barely over the age of five. He said he found her unconscious in the forest, and brought her here. Whatever happened there, she can't remember and if he had some part in it, he never told her. Instead, he took her in as his own and taught her magic - though it was mostly out of his own self interest. He needed someone to run to town and who was adept at magic other than him to make sure his research wasn't discovered.
Their relationship was cool at best. He treated her civilly and fairly, and raised her to the best of his abilities. Some might say he didn't care for her at all, and she was just a tool, a pawn. Whether it is true or not, doesn't matter. She worked hard, studied magic hard, and generally did as she was supposed too. It was difficult, since he was stoic and showed little emotions. It seemed almost as if whatever she did, it wasn't enough.
When his research into demons and other things was discovered by a group of mages - he let himself be arrested, and allowed Ceri to escape.
That was around a year and a half ago. Unsure where to go, and never having actually talked with or interacted much with other people, she was sorely out of her element. However, she did work up the courage to become a part of Harpy's Wing. In the few months of the journeying she had before coming here, she realized she really wasn't strong, and that she knew actually very little about the world. Books can only teach so much, after all.
Which is her main goal for being here. She wants to learn, experience the world, and maybe make a friend or two on the way.
Magic
Magic Name:: Smoke magic
Description:: Smoke Magic. Although on a much larger scale than holder magic. While she has direct combat attacks, mostly her magic takes more of an indirect approach to combat.
Known Spells:
Smoke Field: She releases smoke from her robe, covering the entire area in a thick smog. It serves little purpose, other than to obscure an enemies sight and make it difficult for them to do anything relying on visual cues alone. The smoke, is incredibly difficult to dissipate as long as she is conscious or in the area. For now, the field can only cover about half a mile radius.
Smoke Clone: As the name suggests, she is able to create clones of herself with magic. They are perfect copies - though incredibly weak and can't actually do anything other than serve as a distraction.
Smoke Bomb: A spell with a two-fold purpose. Smoke blasts out from her robes with explosive force, enough to knock anyone away from her - it also covers the immediate area in a thick layer of smoke, that seems to refuse to leave. The smoke may have different properties, depending on what she needs. It is incredibly difficult to dissipate the smoke as long as she is conscious/in the area.
Barrage: A blast of small concentrated smoke balls barrage at the enemy, exploding with force on impact.
Smoke Pulse: Releases a stream of fast moving smoke in a direction. Propels her in whatever direction she points. Used to quickly avoid/dodge things, though could be used to smack someone as an impromptu, low-damage attack.
Smoke Control: A passive ability that allows her to change the density, force, and other properties of the smoke. It normally comes in a cloudy white form, and different colors have different properties, though she can only use a green-colored smoke for now - which is used to dull someones senses. Doing so requires more mana, and is usually used to set up a trap/weaken her enemies before a fight.
She is immune to the effects though her allies will not be - though she can usually clear a path for them through the smoke should they need it.
Green: Causes ones senses to be dulled as long as they breathe it in. Vision gets blurry, and generally become sluggish. Its effects aren't very pronounced at first, but the longer one breathes it the more severe they become. Doesn't stay in the body for long, a few quick breaths of fresh air will help greatly in staving off the effects.
Smoke Form: A little spell she doesn't use much except to avoid unavoidable attacks. Basically, her entire body becomes smoke itself, including her robe. Sustaining the mode for too long causes a huge exhaust on magic, so it's best used sparingly.
(will probably add more spells later.)
Other: Surprisingly quite agile, despite the cloak. Seems to not weigh much. Also quite good at using her dagger, so don't underestimate her.
Relatives:: N/A. Never knew her actual parents, and the mage who raised her is imprisoned.
Possessions:: A cloak that dulls the wearers presence, making it easier for her to go unnoticed.
A rather unusual looking dagger She rather abhors using it, but it was the last thing her 'father' gifted her. Seems to have no special properties, other than doing whatever a dagger does. It's blade is almost long enough to be called a short sword, but it's light weight and easy to use. And make no mistake, if she has to, she will use it to the extent of her abilities.
Books! Loves books and reading and generally learning in general.
Theme Song::
Arianna Carolina: "O-oh...I-I've never had a mother before. N-not that I can remember anyways. She's really nice i-if a little clingy. But I don't mind! She's really nice. I wish someone like her raised me instead...N-not that I don't like my father! He was nice in his own way but...she doesn't judge me or...w-well, never mind...She's also really strong, right? To be a guild master you'd have to be. I hope I don't disappoint her."
Illedrith Adrasia: "Ehe~ Mis...is really nice. She's like a big sister to me. She helped me out a lot when I first came here. I-I'm not sure I would have stayed if it wasn't for her. She helps me out a lot still, and we're even on a team! I'm not that strong so I'm grateful for them letting me be with her. I hope I can be as strong as her one day...
Kyuuten Rallis "O-oh...uhm, he seems nice. I thought he was kind of scary at first. H-he always tried to mess with my hood, b-but...he's been really nice to me most of the time...I don't think he means anything by it. I'm kind of j-jealous of him...he's always so bright. I wish I could be a little more like him. I'm trying but I just...don't see how he does it."
Saeko "...she needs to smile more. N-not that she isn't cheerful! B-but her face is often all...scrunched up and apathetic. W-well...I guess it's better than b-being scared or frowning all the time, but still. She's a really nice person and always seems so driven. I don't think I can keep up with her. I-if fighting starts I always run first. M-maybe I should ask her how she does it..."
Dreadlin Nauss "...He's nice. I-I like him a lot. N-not as much as Mis, but...w-well he's good to hide behind. N-not that I do that! A lot! E-erm...N-not much else to say. I don't really speak with him a lot, since I s-stay with Mis more often than not."
Old Man Pan: "Hehe...I can't help but smile when I see him. I'm kind of concerned about his health though...if anything were to happen I'd feel terrible."
Cyril: "...h-he's loud and I-i'm not sure I like him."
Alexandria Galtemalos: "S-she's a nice person, really! B-but...she can be a little forceful sometimes. E-especially when she's fighting. I know her m-magic is supposed to help but it always startles me..."
Delsin Bastille: "I-I've never met him, but I've seen him. He seems...really strong. H-he's got kind of a grumpy face though. It's a little intimidating. I-I'm sure he's nice though! M-maybe I should g-go say hi or something...but the other people in the guild seem scary." Her tone changes somewhat as she continued. "Especially that cretin Vega."
Vega Ashworth: She gives the feeling of a very, very, hostile glare from under her hood. Her tone changes from its typical quietness and uncertainty to one of clear hostility and...it seemed contempt?
"...if he causes me trouble again, I'll show him how useless that pathetic, inferior magic of his is." She seems to panic for a moment, pulling her hood over her face more before continuing. "A-ah! H-he's just really mean and causes me a lot of problems. He's an unpleasant person...maybe my dad was right...b-but everyone else I've met seems really friendly..."
Kazue Hattori "Ehe...I think we could be good friends. I think my e-erm, magic would work well with hers being a bit of an expert in stealth myself. H-her face is a bit scary though, but I don't really know much more about that."
Jack: "I-I heard he likes to fight a lot...I don't really know much more than that. He's not as bad as Vega is he? I...I wouldn't want to run into anyone else like him."
Damien Ivorn: "I heard he doesn't like working? Th-that's silly...i-if you have strong magic you should use it, shouldn't you? I don't understand why he wouldn't want to help people with it...."
Seto Nakahara: "I don't really know...I've never talked to him. Mis is annoyed by his magic a lot...I've never seen them, though."
Kage: "...she has a poofy robe, like me! I've never talked to her, b-but, uhm, she seems nice...t-that mask she wears is a bit scary...b-but I can understand not wanting to show yourself to people."
Well here she is! I was considering asking about making a second, but suppose I can't. I'm a bit torn between using a magic-item crafting girl from Edolas in Golems hand and Ceri here...but eh, Ceri is Ceri. Adorable and I love her xD
I'll update the opinions thing with the Guild Leaders later. I actually want to discuss a thing with you about Ceri as well.

"Ah...thank you, Katherine." Sorcha replied. "And yes, Sorcha is my given name - I am assuming Livia has said quite a bit about me." The dragon chuckled, turning her head towards Sol. "Stay close to me little one, hm?" Sorcha said, patting her on the head as they began to descend the stairs.
The descent was blessedly short, the steep staircase carrying them a floor below the castles first level. As Katherine expected, light was going to be a problem. No one had been in the castle for ages. It'd be silly to expect lit torches in an old ruin. Thankfully for them, it was easy enough to find a source of light as they descended. A few old torches were sitting in little slots on the walls, though most were worn and wooden, but a torch was a torch and a source of light would be needed to venture into the lower floors. If Katherine managed to light the torch, the group moved down into the basement floors, the small source of light illuminating enough to see a few feet in front of them clearly.
"Hm...it smells like no one's been here for a long time." Sorcha commented, holding onto Sol's hand. "We should be careful though. Old ruins like this tend to attract many number of beasts. Including dragons."
With the limited light, the group could at least see there was a large underground chamber of some sort, with a number of rooms shooting off. For the most part the place seemed in fairly good condition. It seemed to be some sort of...jail? Dungeon of sorts. Several rooms seemed to be small, nothing more than cells for holding a handful of people.
Explore the lower floor. If there was to be treasure, it'd probably be here. Head back up. No telling what's here. Maybe even a dragon. Probably bad to run into one of those.
Eith, and Miren
"A-ah! Right, I'll keep an eye on things here, Luna." Miren replied before turning to Eith. "Alright, Eith." Miren hopped over to the hound. "We'll looking for anything that might be records of experiments on erm...living beings." Miren reached over, patting the dog on the head in an attempt to at least make her feel more at ease. "There's a lot to cover on my own, so a little help would be nice...e-erm, if you could help me look..." She didn't want to stress the hound out, but she doubted Marie would help...as evidence by the fact the white demon was following after Luna.
Marie sighed, ignoring the rabbit and the hound, walking after Luna slowly. She honestly didn't like anyone here. All of them hated her, she could tell. That was fine. Wasn't anything new. Wasn't her fault they couldn't understand who she was or what she deserved. She was PRIDE. The granddaughter of he who would usurp and kill God. She was perfection incarnate and she didn't need any of those fools.
And she wouldn't let this filthy library dirty her clothes either, since she currently had no way to instantly clean herself since her mom sealed most of her magic.
Help Miren. Seems like the logical choice. Follow Luna. Miren could probably handle herself. Wasn't the first time she was on an expedition like this after all.
Maoin
From what she could tell after sniffing the air, there was definitely something odd. It smelled like another cat?...but there was something else there too. It was odd. There was definitely cat there, but there was something else...perhaps goat? It was difficult to tell entirely. The room must have been kept well, or at least not have anything that could be of more help to be identified with her nose. Perhaps it was just the lingering smell of some animals passing through. Chances were good at least, though. Either way, the kitten ignored it in favor of checking the scaffolding.
Maoin stepped carefully onto the scaffolding, the old wood planks creaking wearily under her weight but for the most part seemed stable. Aside from the potential for the entire thing to come crashing down, it was rather peaceful out here. A constant, but cool breeze was blowing. Below, she could see a garden and Luna, who was currently walking out of a the library by herself. The garden itself was obviously overgrown and in complete disrepair, but that was likely not important to the kitten.
The kitten's attention was on the scaffolding and making sure she didn't fall. Her swift, careful footsteps, carried her easily across the planks, and it seemed her theory that they might have a way to the other side of the room might be correct. Barely a few feet out of the window and onto the scaffolding the scaffolding stopped abruptly, an old work ladder worked into the old structure lead upwards to the next floor of the building.
Whatever happened here, it had taken out a chunk of the entire wall with it, making it impossible to reach this part of the castle from the hallways. Once she was up, the crack in the floor she saw from the floor below became much more visible. The roof of the room had caved in, but someone had clearly gotten rid of the rubble long ago. She had a clear view from the room from above now, and it was very clear that someone or something had been living here recently. A pile of pillows had been tossed together in a corner fo the room in an effort to make a makeshift bed. It seemed that the far wall of the room had been eroded away as well, giving Maoin a clear view of the courtyard and an old fountain from here. A fine layer of dust on everything though, seemed to indicate that whoever had was long gone, however.
So...what would Maoin do now? The smell of a cat...goat? Or was that a snake? Whatever it was, it was still there and somewhat stronger now.
Drop into the room. Looks abandoned, probably nothing dangerous in there. Head back. Suspiciously silent still. Probably not a good idea. Luna's over there, she'd probably be a good person to drag into your misadventure. Stay and rest a bit. It's oddly tranquil up here, and if you turn around there's a lovely view of the garden and the forest. A good place to collect your thoughts, maybe.
Luna, Marie
Luna, shortly followed by Marie, made their way into the garden. The place was overgrown, but one could clearly see that at least some point it was a well kept garden. A large tree could be seen on the opposite end of the garden, looming over the place and creating a long shadow over the garden. Aside from the chirps of a few birds here, all was otherwise silent as the two walked out onto the old stone path that led through the once well kept garden. On one of the walls, there's a scaffolding that looks like it leads to a hole in the wall.
...was that Maoin? Either way, the scaffolding doesn't look sturdy enough to support Luna's weight, but perhaps she could get creative if she wanted to get up.
Marie completely ignore Luna, and started walking deeper into the place, and she'd quickly be lost among the overgrown foliage if Luna didn't make an attempt to follow.
Follow Marie. Probably not a good idea to be alone here. Explore the garden. Might be something of interest here. try and climb the scaffolding? Yeah, probably a really bad idea

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.
Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).
Have some dancing medjed.
