@Ashevelendar They are already technically brothers and sisters as they share the same mother, but I feel like it would be too confusing for both the scientists and other Godslayers to have two individuals with the same number.
@Reijin Buru Krit looks fine to me, but I am curious as to know how you plan on keeping track of his life energy in game.
Location: At the site of a wolf attack Interacting with: Two injured Wolfrahg nobles @Mae and a stranger @RedXCross Mood: Tense
The old bear Relmir flew past him with surprising speed as he lined up his shot. Where in the world he found that kind of endurance, Feir didn’t have the slightest idea, but within moments he was already with his son. And by the sorry state his bloodied leg was in and the way he was flailing uselessly at his attacker, it was painfully clear that the heir needed all of the help he could get. But there was little Feir could do but watch as the chief ripped the beasts jaws away from his son and then went tumbling down with the wolf, which had now had a new prey in its sight.
Things were not going well.
Between the heir that could barely keep standing and the chief that was now taking his turn to be savaged by the wolf, Feir felt the first pangs panic bubbling up in his chest. Thankfully they hadn’t quite reached him yet, so with a steady hand the wanderer finished drawing his arrow back, the familiar sensation of the drawstring against his cheek focusing him on his mark. The stench of blood was beginning to fill the clearing, in sharp contrast to the rest of the eerily peaceful ridge, but he barely noticed it. His fingers tensed. If he missed, there was an all too real possibility he might hit the chief.
The hesitation didn’t even last a moment though, as he wasn’t going to stand and watch the wolf get ever closer to the chief’s throat with each vicious snap of its jaws. A rather ragged breath escaped his lips as he willed his body to relax. Out of the corner of his eye, Feir just barely noticed Rimgauge finally giving in to the pain and falling unconscious, adding yet another problem to his plate. But one he would worry about in a moment, as the Wolfrahg men that were about to reach the top of the ridge were either going to hail him as a hero or execute him as a traitor once his arrow found its mark.
With his aim adjusted and readjusted, Feir felt his fingers relax, sending the arrow straight towards the wolf’s throat.
Lay of the land: Years of wandering has left Feir with an intimate understanding of the various terrains surrounding the tribes
Strong Memory: From never forgetting a face to memorizing which plants are certain to ruin your day, there are few things he trusts as absolutely as his memory
Keenly Observant: One doesn’t survive on their own in such a unforgiven landscape without being able to notice the subtlest of changes in their surroundings
Wilderness Expert: When it comes to surviving away from any semblance of society, few compare to the wealth of knowledge Feir has cultivated over the years
Archery: One of the most reliable ways to secure food in the wild is to have a steady hand with a bow, so it comes as little surprise that he is a decent shot
Axe Fighting: Feir has had more run ins than he cares to admit with deadly creatures that got past his bow, so learning how to make use of his axe to solve problems seemed prudent
@Ashevelendar Do you mean that they would be twins? Because that would be fine by me, you would need to take it up with @HaltingBlooper though. Otherwise, it wouldn't make too much sense if they were "made" at different times.
@dragonmancer That's essentially where I was thinking you would go with the power, so that should be fine. I don't have exact end game power levels plotted out quite yet, but it'll become clearer once the RP starts.
@DeathXtheXTree Not only that, but if we add Virgil to the mix we can have the ultimate triumvirate of laziness, much to the chagrin of management and our more responsible siblings. Yeah, I can easily see them getting along pretty well.
@Kyrisse No need to apologize, I'm just glad you spoke up instead of vanishing on us. Good luck out there.
@Thecrash20 You're absolutely allowed to do so. Just make sure you give a GM a heads up once you make your changes so we can take a look at it.
@dragonmancer You have a very interesting Ability here, I just worry that Drake will be a little bit too stacked when it comes down to it though. Considering that he has great speed, great offense, and great defense, I would be awfully hard pressed to consider him as only a B rank. Honestly, if you just tone down his speed, I feel like he would be pretty balanced character, because having that essentially negates any weakness he would have had with his short ranged fighting style.
I'd also like to announce that I will be claiming the number 12 spot for my own character, Gray the lovable bum. Tear him a new one folks
Righty ho, apologies for these constant intermissions folks, I swear I have almost finished constructing the life raft that will help me survive the flood of papers coming my way.
Now below I have a working roster sheet of all accepted characters. As I have already discussed this a bit with our all mighty Co-GM, I really would like to avoid splitting the numbers across genders, as it just doesn’t feel right. So instead of giving some people the short end of the stick, I’m upping the number of “most powerful” slots from 9 to 13.
If you see you are sharing a slot with someone else, I would like for you to talk amongst one another and sort out who gets to keep the spot. I would like this to be done before I open the RP up on Saturday, so the sooner we get this done, the better. I am more than happy to help with this, so just speak up if you need me.
ALSO
Now would be a good time to start talking to each other and figuring about how ya’ll feel about your fellow Godslayers. I’m not going to be asking for full on relationship sheets by Saturday, but it would be very beneficial if you can get at least a handle on who they like and who they can’t stand. Of course, fleshing out a handful of relationships past that point is preferred, but I don’t want you folks to feel too rushed on this.
@Slendy Thanks for that, you are welcome to add Atlas over to the character tab.
@HaltingBlooper Excellent, go chuck Six into the character tab.
@Thecrash20 Jakob looks good to me, although I would like if for now you edited out the parts that state his equipment is made from god bones, as at the start of the RP no one has heard of a god dying quite yet. Also, there should be a few spots open within the top 13, but I would much prefer it if you waited until the people with conflicting numbers sorted out where their characters will go before you claim one.
@Xiro Zean First off, I want to say I really, really like the concept of the Gemini sisters. The only real issue I have is that their ability seems a bit too perfected because as it stands, it doesn’t seem to have any real limitations or ways for it to be improved upon at later ranks. I think that some kind of time limit or even a durability adjustment would help make it feel more in line with other abilities at rank B. I’ll leave the nature of the tweaking to you, but other than that the sisters are good in my books.
@Doltboy Our majestic Co-GM hit the nail on the head. Things are trucking along, but busy lives have been making it a slower grind than I intended, so I apologize for the hold up. We should be able to start by Saturday, assuming nothing catastrophic happens between now and then.
@Shadow Daedalus In all honesty, I completely forgot all about poor Gray aha. I’ll see how the roster sheet fills up and stick him in an appropriate spot.
