Crisis: Mars! [Full unless you're Brilliant]

"Another incident on Mars today when-""...U.S.F Confirms another incident-""Announced five missing, presumed dead-""We simply have more questions than answers at this time-""... No official comment on the issue-""... Man who can breathe fire."

The Year is 2300, with 27 decades worth of colonists on the Red Planet Mars. Once inhospitable thanks to, rudementary, terraforming techniques now a inhabitable and severly profitable red planet. However after roughly one hundred and seventy years of nothing but building and mining, something strange has happened. People have began to perform amazing feats only one month ago. Create fire seemingly from thin air, read minds, create illusions and so many more abilities seem to exist. The problem is not everyone can control it, and with the loss of innocent life the United planets Security Force has stepped in to take control of the incident. Now Aire is on lock down, nobody in nobody out except members of the U.S.F and powered people are being hunted down.

It's time for answers, why is this happening? Why to only certain people?

IC Status:

Aire is under Quarantine, Soldiers and X3 patrols are common and Enforcers have been seen on patrol.

Throughout the course of the RP there will be people with powers, or gaining powers trying to avoid the forces of the U.S.F - United planetary Security Force and as such imprisonment or even death. Though what will you do with these powers is up to you. Try to become a super villain, hero or just find out why this is happening it is up to you. Though be careful, you're being watched and while there will be empaphizers trying to help you there is still the ongoing investigation to find out what happened...

Powers:

Powers will come under one of the following classes and there can't be cross overs between any of them. Also please remember characters will only of had their power for roughly a month.

Physical - Either having a physical alteration (Speed, strength, regeneration) or the ability to alter your bodys shape and composition.

Mental - The ability to influence a mind, be it to try and read someones mind, puppet someone or make them see things.

Elemental - The power to control the elements or have changes that are in regards to them. Any for of energy manipulation I am putting in this class.

Spacial - The ability to control/move through space. This is an extremely rare class and anyone wanting a power from it will be heavily scrutinized.

Temporal - The ability to control time. This is an even rarer class, and anyone wanting this will be even more heavily scrutinized.

Helpful information.*You do not require to read this, however to get background I would recommend reading up on Aire (Within the Coalition then Mars Tab), U.S.F and the Coalition itself. This is the universe we play in. The repo will have files added to it in time, anything that is considered finished/canon will be not be editable.

Hi. I'm interested in this. I was thinking about a person with biological control on a physical level - the ability to induce metabolism and physical limitation changes on himself and others (by touch). For instance, he'd be able to become faster and stronger for a short time, or increase cell regeneration on himself and others. Also the ability to see far or small objects, eventually maybe heat vision, echolocation, molecular analysis by taste, bullet-time perception, etc. All within slightly modified limitations of the human body. I would have to think about what he could do to others, i.e. cure or induce fatigue, induce pain or lack thereof, etc.

If you like the idea I can flesh it out more. I am certain it can be fitted to any power level and any limitation.

Maybe not the heat vision one, but I kinda like some ideas being thrown around there. I'm just on a short breakfast break then I'm going to get back onto the OOC.

Currently working on building the world a little bit, onto the U.S.F right now and what their capabilities are, then going to describe abilities explain the tech level, rules and CS template and we're done I think.

I'm actually working on the OOC now and getting most of the tech stuff in. Without making an overwhelming amount to read... which is the issue.

I am likely to set up the base line for what things are and then let people run with it (As long as they check first).

Technopath was one of the things I was interested in someone having, I was just trying to figure out what school it would be in. Probably an energy based one (Interacting with circuitry and computer systems).

I'm not so sure if it's just illusionary maybe, but creating them from thin air and letting them impact the universe? Not so sure as I'm trying to put things into categories:

Physical
Mental
Elemental
Spacial (Rare)
Temporal (Also Rare)

More will be clear on powers once I throw up an OOC. Which I will do tomorrow, well start working on it tonight. Whether or not it will be finished is to be seen.
