@Sho MinazukiI went ahead and posted already, sorry, but left the post open as to if i was right or not. should i modify it somehow?

It's fine because you got it right anyways.

Once Wrath finishes his fight though, the next Mitis Forest update is going to be a fair level of shitstorm.
You'll have to ask Lug about the Charred Council in that regard.
@Sho Minazuki Just so that i make no mistake, the forest with the pillar is outside of the facility?

Yeah. It's the exact same puzzle from DMC4 as well. I would suggest sending me a PM with your guess, and if it's right you can go post.

@rivaan Go ahead. It'd probably be better that way.
I have folks who feel honored to be chosen to draw my characters...

Can you do any styles besides generic anime?

If you're expecting something greatly different to what you see here, I don't think I can do it. Otherwise if you just want more realistic looks, I could give that a hand, but it won't be hugely different from what's here.
Yeah he's just outside right now.

The two were on a warpath, with Blair managing to keep up from behind. The stunning team work of Fenn and Lily ensured not even an organized group of angels could stop them. The council was right to send these two, plus Vigrid was only beginning to become populated by angels, so they couldn't muster up a very powerful force, although their side-trip did buy the angels some time. They were in visionary range of their objective, but as soon as they turned a corner Lily was forced to duck and dodge an a golden blade, but before she finished her dodge, she heard the sharp sound of that same blade continue. All she saw was a blur of red and gold as she continued acrobatically dodging swing after swing after swing, until suddenly Fenn stopped it's blade, forcing the Ardor to back off.

Had she been hit even once, she would not have managed to recover until it's onslaught stopped... Plus, they were fast enough to keep up with Lily when it came to going on the offensive. As soon as the Ardor backed off, two more descended in front of it...

Of course, their goal was pretty much in sight, all that was left was to scale the skyscraper before them... After they take care of these red-knight angels. It looks like they were quick and strong, but their attacks were also just sword and shield, a rather standard form of combat... So maybe not so difficult to read.

Wrath's attacks were dealing some damage, but it appears it wasn't as much as he had hoped. The first cleave barely moved the Mephistos, or damaged them, in fact they probably didn't move at all. They began mustering a counter-attack, their golden fingers alighting, but Wrath's second attack came out right before theirs, staggering the cloaked demons, at the same time he saw their cloaks suddenly no longer protected them while they were staggered, as his second attack promptly dealt sufficient damage to the closest one, while the others simply staggered just out of reach.

He had a little bit more time before he would have to worry about the Scarecrows attacking, but until then he wasn't under too much pressure, but he would still have to hurry, or move his position. It would not be wise to let them encircle him.

Surprisingly, the facility was mostly empty... Little did he know though he was getting rather close. Only a few Assaults inside the facility, but he could already hear the horde outside moving towards the building. He had to keep moving. Eventually he reached what looked like a forest... Four different pathways... And in the center was a tall stone with an inscription upon it.

"Where there is light, there is shadow, but shadow only leads to darkness"

Cryptic... But it seemed simple enough. As Kyle looked at his surroundings, he would notice that the location of the sun was suddenly different in this part of the forest. It didn't match any astrological positions... Plus as he went through each exit and entrance, it would always loop him back to the same place, but each time the direction the light was coming from would change. Sometimes it would be from the north entrance, sometimes the east, and so on.

"You two are marvelous, it's a shame you both noticed me, I've never seen such incredible fighting", as she stepped from the shade of the forest, her slender, green, scaly figure became visible in the sun. Behind her in the shade were a pair of two golden eyes, clued in only by the long serpent bodies that created a silhouette against the the contrasting light.

"I am Gorgan, self-proclaimed queen of this forest. These other demons here seem to answer my every beck and call, so I guess they see me as queen too", as she said this, the two figures behind her also stepped out of the shade as she began to pet them, two giant snakes, even as she pet them though, their eyes were trained on Gideon and Kosara.

""Demons" you both say... Am I one too? I was born in this world, so I can only guess that that is what I really am... I also have a feeling both of you came for me one way or another", she began.

So this was Gorgon. She didn't seem bad... But those eyes were hungry, there was no denying she was definitely a demon, even if she was still questioning that herself. She still had the keen and base instincts of one, no matter how in control of them she seemed right now. Still, this was a chance to converse. Somehow though she's lived here for all of her life undisturbed until now.

As soon as they were done in their respective rooms, they eventually circled back to the main room, taking the sun and moon slabs with them. Sure enough, there were two slots in this room. The first one was spotted immediately, as it was on top of the big door, but the second one took awhile to find. It was where the skylight was. Where these slabs went was all up to speculation, but considering there were only two possible outcomes, this problem should not take very long to figure out.
Hey look I drew new shit.

He literally only needs to post once right now.

More mannequins...? Well, there didn't seem to be any shadows here, this must be exhibition hall of some sort though. Everywhere the party looked, these mannequins had some large props with them, most of which were weapons. Megumi wasn't sensing anything strange, so Rui headed forward to open the door, but as soon as he touched the handle, the spotlights behind him went crazy and the room was turned into a psychedelic dance floor. The lights around the mannequins dimmed, and as he turned to observe what was happening, all of the mannequins sprang to life, wielding their props as weapons, Rui found himself immediately blocking an attack with his blade, a mannequin wielding a colossal cannon with twin tails, but it was quickly repelled, everyone else seemed to be under attack too.

"They're really fast... But, not very sturdy. Just be careful, if you attack recklessly their speed will let them punish you", they weren't the only ones who were fast though... Rui began to cast Sukukaja on himself as he barked an order.

"Stand back to back to each other, and wait for my signal", he said. He needed a perfect moment to catch all of these costumed mannequins in a good Gale Slash, and give his party a chance to clean house. Matthew should be well suited to it with his fire spells, but thinning them out would be a big stride all the same.

They're... They're moving... This is what Ayano thought as she watched her screen. Of course, Kami and the party he was leading was moving, but the signatures she saw before were also moving... They still weren't hostile, but this was disturbing.

Meanwhile, on Kami's end, he and the party swept through some norse soldier-looking shadows that appeared from time to time, although they took an appearance similar to undead, skeletons or zombies really, and occasionally there'd be a big knight type, otherwise, things were progressing nicely... Yet, at the same time things didn't feel right... Still, all they could do was continue moving on. As they moved along though, the features of this area became more and more worn away, though fortunately this dungeon was rather straightforward, go through some doors, up some stairs, through a hallway, it was all rather simple. They even passed a big dining hall too.

Eventually the party reached a kind of hall, it was empty, no shadows in sight, but as Ayano was spotting on her sensors now... Those signatures from the first room were surrounding the party at the same time, but as she would report this, the party could see nothing.

This dungeon was turning out to be more a puzzle and a horror game experience than a dungeon... Barely any shadows, and what few they saw scampered off in fear. Hallways seemed to repeat, each time they looped around a new door would be open, and so on... This would've been a boring experience if not for the occasional ambient sounds. Screeching noises that sounded almost like screaming, somewhat unintelligible words muttered in the distance, shadows moving where there should be nothing... Ever-stoic was Tadao in the lead, but it seems the atmosphere was beginning to get to him too, he began to look around more than when they started out.

Eventually they came to a ward. Except, it was in prime condition. The white curtains billowed to a wind that the party could not feel, with windows showing out to a pitch black outside, and a dim light from a source no one could see. With everything cleaned up though, this looked less like a regular hospital, and more like a mental ward. There wasn't much in terms of physical medical equipment, but more homely items, books, board games, and so on... A small lounge was here too... Though despite all that, the pictures on the shelves, were still the same as when they walked in. Whole family blotted out some way or some form, except for what appears to be the youngest child.

"We have no navigation, we should wait here for a bit until one of the other navigators contact us. For now, I feel like this room is key to this dungeon. It's unique first of all, but there also seems to be no way forward from here...", he said. They should probably investigate this place...

So far from what they can see, the book case seemed to stand out a bit more, the TV by the little lounge was blinking at unexpected points, there was one bed with messy covers in comparison to the immaculate made other beds, and the wall on the back had even more pictures...
Who we waiting on for IC? Maybe we should skip them if they're taking this long.
