Except for 1 or 2 rps and some partners, I'm essentially done with the site. Can only sit down for posts once a week. Hate to make others wait.

Want to do a slice of life romance, in the MHA universe. SoL is good with an interesting backdrop.

Bio

I don't know how to make this all stylish yet. I'll figure it out eventually.

In the mean time ahem:

Hello! I am currently writing a script for a fantasy story I plan on animating (Using the program Poser) Rping really helps get my creative muscles flexing and I'm going to be incorporating some character ideas into the RPs I produce with other people. This could include Male or Female. I really try to challenge myself.

I am a huuuuuuuge fan of epic scale narrative, and breathing life into a story is a great passion of mine. Seriously I watch trope talk pod casts and how to write, just to make my script as effective as possible.

I am versatile. I love things with emotion, whether Romance, Grim, Adventure Thriller, or even Comedy. Above all else, I love to entertain. I hope to do so with you.

I also have a 1X1 interest check.

@PaulHaynek Ian @Lmpkio Morgan

"Agreed."

The fact that they had just carried an armored man and now were dealing with some rather vicious looking dogs. Varjan. Ugh, even the animals had a chip on their shoulder. He wanted to ask why the heck they were this far north, and in a swamp, but the moment it was decided, Ozzy kept low. Kept quiet...

And being quiet was something he was not used to. Everyone could see his feathers bristling and quick jerky movements of his head and hands. He fought against his natural urges and managed to stay the course, holding his breath save for long shallow breathes. He calculated some alternatives in his head, but being unable to really articulate it, it was pretty much worthless.

Finally, he sighed aloud. "Why in a swamp of all places?" He finally asked before they went about their work. "So what are we looking for?" He confirmed with both of them before he went about cultivating the herbs and flowers. Ian kept talking and Ozzy half listened. Alot of his attention went into making sure he was doing the job right. Making sure he didn't crush the leaves or waste the petals.

He only managed to get up the plant from the roots in a handful of dirt when he noticed the rather beastial and not so pleasant face. There was a moment of pause from each side. As if both were just letting the moment sink in.

"CRRRRRAAAAW!!!"

It was the sound of a crow and a parrot squawking in surprise as Ozzy reflexively jumped back and flapped his arms, his wings jumping to life and trying to take to the air, away from the lunge. His foot reached out, the parts of his feet unfurling into four owl like talons that kicked out and raked at the creature to keep it away. It would be an awkward sight, seeing essentially a dog pounce a large bird of pray as it started to fight for its life, and those claws were sharp.

Zone 1 - Moving the Big Guy
@follycle@Delta44

Listening to both of his peer's suggestion Hiroki looked at the body again. Addressing Azukina first he didn't like the look she had about her arm. He was too tired to really argue about it, and he was still a little bit pissed off, and decided to use this problem solving puzzle as something else to focus on. Her fingers half frozen, arms blue. He shook his head. "Ironically, don't be a hero. Looks like your not immune to your powers." He didn't blame her, quirks were sometimes funny like that. "You get some frost bite in your hands and you're out of this exam. It'll take time, but we should do this the slow way.
Give us time to recharge our batteries, before we head out again."
He used his thumb to point, I can lead us safely through the forest that way, maybe reach whats beyond it."

Then he addressed Kuuki who conceded that she wouldn't be much help and he disagreed with her either. "You got legs and arms dont you?" he said, coming off a bit more annoyed than he actually was. He went to the lizard man. "Its a typical drag by leg. Roads flat enough we shouldn't have too much of a problem. Throw on leg over your shoulder and we should be able to drag him. I'll have to get his tail..." He said this with dismay knowing that he'd have much less leverage and have to hold it with his arms.

Just then two shots rang out in the direction they were going. "That was towards the bus." He called. "Friggin what now? Stay with him!" Hiroki called the shots before he ran, not flying towards the bus. His arms were already tired, he needed those precious moments to catch his second wind.

@Scribe of Thoth@Stern Algorithm

What the hell?

What- was this a hostage situation. A man he'd never seen before was on the bus, fighting with- it was that loud girl, and the nerd. Hiroki could see him pointing the gun from the driver side window. He got low, and approached. The villain was focused on him and it seemed they were moving again to try to take the guy on. The girls quirk, it was loud. When she moved it was like a roar, a roar even louded then his engines. He thought about using that, running towards the bus and diving to get in front of the engine out of sight. He couldn't fly in, the guy was covered by all the windows and watched the-

The windows? Were any of them open? Fat chance considering the chill of the morning but maybe, he went behind the bus, staying out of sight before finding one. He needed to get one open- just a crack if he could do that, the bus could become a wind tunnel, or better yet open up the back, if he could. He could get push the guy right out the front door, then they could gank him while he's down. He heard their attack fail, one flying into the other and the sound of one body striking. They couldnt take this guy head on either.

He tried to move to the back of the bus. A school bus would have a lever, but if it was locked, he'd have to go with the window method. He could probably jump up, get his finger nails to crack it open, then use his body weight to open it enough.

Pilot:
Name: Dr. Rei Osborne | Race: Brain / Slime

Appearance:

Personality: Dr. Rei has long since died but has kept himself, or atleast his personality intact using various methods, from brain wavelength data storage, to AI incorporation, to as he is today, a cybernetic brain attached to a synaptic feedback controlled robot. He still demands respect regardless of his form as he is one of the oldest living minds that had survived the outbreak. He sees himself as the last guardian of mankind's pure genetic makeup and has since been the architect of numerous sub-species hybridizations and he does not mess around when it comes to safeguarding that data. He acts more a military commander than a scientist, blunt, to the point and seeminly very cold, calculating, and without any kind of warmth, but that is mostly because the current situation weighs heavy on his head. The stress is affecting him psychologically. Most of the time he is seen as everyone's grumpy grandpa.

He has been experimenting with a type of bioelectrical gelatin that allows for his nerves to form motor and sensory control nodes with compatible systems. While, android bodies proved to be useful temporary housing, he currently uses the body of a slime he affectionately calls Ray (totally not confusing) She is as dumb as a post, barely being able to speak for herself, but the doctor keeps her as a pet and laboratory assistant. At times, the doctor can completely overwhelm her own fluid biology through the gelatin control network and thus use her as a way of moving around, and interaction, making Ray almost a type of android body for him to control. He also uses her natural biological adaptations to acquire more genetic samples and material from living and dead subjects. It has been rumored that Rei uses her as a type of xenobiological womb for new hybrid children. Its a wonder she doesn't just digest them, but apparently Dr. Rei has effectively changed her biology to be something quite different from a typical green slime. What exactly, he jealously safeguards.

Two shots rang out and struck two of the downed men. Pox heart leapt into his throat as he thought the worst. "NO!"

Just then, the light of the shot spread to the two downed men and they winced, trying to get back into some semblance of lucidity. "Wha-Wha?" Said one. "Ugh, it hurts... but-" Said the other now working to get on their hands and knees.

Pox was relieved, and confused. Mostly confused. He looked... he knew there was someone there, and even in the crosshares he could sense that they were being watched, it could shoot him now, and yet. Yet it was helping them. Healing at range. That was a neat trick. But- but why? Why try to aid the enemy. Pox's already low opinion of his comrades sank more. Was this just a diversion, risking their lives. "Here! Quickly! Follow me!"

The men looked at the weird bird masked man, not knowing him. "Who the hell are you!"

"Guys over here! Hurry!" One of Pox's rescues was waving them over, safely around the corner of a building where three others were recovering.

That was enough, their comrade giving them orders was a good enough reason to trust Pox, and thankfully they could move on their own. "Keep your head down, they've got Marksman Magic!" He had to shout, another powerful blast ripping through the battlefield, casting dust and debris nearby. It was a warzone!

Safely behind the corner, the speculating began. "Bastards blew up the cart! There goes our loot!"

"Who knew they had magic that powerful! We didn't even see them!"

"How did they know we were there? Scrying magic?"

"I don't think it was them..." Pox was already looking back, there were more victims, and the battle itself could mean their allies being in trouble. Pox had to get involved. Had to stop this before the town was roped in.

"What do you mean, who else could it be?" Hard to believe your own guild would sacrifice you.

Pox didn't have time to answer, he moved around the building, hiding, looking out for the sniper and getting closer to the fight. He could help the Spiders if he got close enough... but why should he? Dragons were here to help, their magic showed that. How should he play this?
@Foster

"Look me in my optic nerves and say that!"
Kind of want to make a scientist that safeguards genetic data, but he himself is a brain in a jar.... basically he plugs into synthetic bodies and mech suits.

It took forever, years of saving but you finally did it. Your very own airship.
The solar sails are made of Essence Silk and sparkle when it catches the light. How you know it works, said the salesman. The cabin is a sealed environmentally controlled home, allowing for off the current travel through the stars. He through in near a months worth of rations, just to seal the deal.
You can go anywhere with this thing.
Now for the biggest question of all?
Where will you go?

The Glass City and make a fortune chiseling enchanted jewels among the Quartz Weavers.

Or the Celestial Grove where the spirits are said to frolic with those who visit their forests.

Or join the Lunar Confederation Fleet as they fight back against the Tiger Dominion. They could always use another hero.

Maybe you can start over on Riza Secundous. The Terraforming Spires have just been raised and they will be looking for new colonists.

Anywhere.
Can you imagine?

~Elysia~

Elysia is a place of gods. Not just humanity’s gods, but all of them. They created a pocket universe where they themselves might mold and play with creations. They’ve stolen worlds, entire civilizations in order to fill their playground with more. More planets to craft into their image. More mortals to accept worship. They’ve been doing this a long time. Hundreds of species. Thousands of worlds, all impossibly compact in a universe limited by a roiling mass of inescapable void. There is no escape, and over time, people stopped trying.

As expected, things work differently in Elysia. This realm of the gods. Spirits are a very real thing and have helped shaped cultures. They are composed of Essence, an element of dynamic energy that permeates all the corners of creation. Mortals have long since learned to attune themselves to this substance that defies scientific laws and have been able to harbor magic as a result. But this is a gift not given equally. Some species and empires grow to become arcanotechnological powerhouses, performing wonders unimagined, with ships capable of sailing from planet to planet on the currents of a star’s light. Others still beat rocks together and widdle spears, knowing very little of the spirits that extort their worship. A long time has passed, and can happen to knowledge over time.

Elysia though, is not a safe place. The Star Gods are titanic creatures, too huge and too alien to even notice the mortals that stare in awe at their magnificence. Their lesser gods and spirits all have motivations and personalities that run the spectrum of benign to terrible. Less spiritual threats, is Elysia itself. Filled with life, and strange worlds, many of them are innately hostile and still people find reasons to fight one another, for profit, resource, or ideology. Finally, is the great enemy, the universally feared Demons. Monsters not of Elysia that can creep in from the shadows, anywhere, anytime. Their forms are beyond measure, each more fearsome than the last. They want nothing more than to tear Elysia apart and feast on the souls of people.

That is the main things every civilized member of Elysia knows. Other than that, each world is different. Different histories, rules, technology, culture, flora, fauna, features, or magical connection.

Hello Fair Reader

This is an interest check for a player or players to have a story in this universe. The universe is designed to have any kind of setting, any kind of genre and theme, but enough of a fantastical element that things like boundaries or limitations need not apply. Consider this universe a sci-fantasy. Where elements of super science mix with elements of magic, that world in parallel and in tandem with each other. The universe however is not safe and a million million little dramas can happen across its expanse. I’m offering a personal character driven story in a vast, epic scale, shared setting, but different themes, plots, and genres within that setting. Im letting players build their own stories with Elysia as the backdrop. If you have a background, Elysia can easily incorporate it. I’m even open to having multiple 1X1 stories collide, all of it acting within the same universe.

What I’m looking for.
Either a small group, roughly 5 players public or 1X1 private PMs to keep track of them easier. I don’t believe in limitations on writing. Things can be light hearted and whimsical, or deep dark and primal. It’s a universe where anything and everything can happen. Feel free to talk to me about what is okay or not, but I’m hoping for partners that share the same willingness to let a story evolve organically. Specifically I’m looking for:

  • Casual/advanced players.
  • No one liners. I will get super bored very easily.
  • Those that ask questions, offer suggestion, and try to grow the universe in their own way.
  • Mature audiences, but its okay if you aren’t 18, just let me know.
  • Friendly players willing to talk out their issues.
  • Patient players, I can’t dedicate everyday to the site.

For a small group Post here if you’d be interested. We’re going to discuss which scenario we’d like to try or adventure we’d like to go on before I start worrying about types of characters and their sheets. Generally I’m pretty open to concepts and backstories. This RP is supposed to get weird.

For a 1X1 PM me your interest so we can tailor a story together and talk about developing the character. Romance and other interpersonal dramas are encouraged but not necessary. Again, I don’t believe in limitations to writing. If you need help, ideas, pairings, or discuss further just let me know. If you desire a specific pair, I've most experience playing a male... but I'm pretty much going to the narrator for the majority so I'm playing a bunch of characters. A story world needs to feel alive.
