A Little Reunion?

Haley raised her eyebrows in surprise. Sure, she had suggest the book and many people loved the series, but she hadn't expected him to read it, much less rush through it. Maybe the reason for this was because she had assumed that he had taken the book from the library out of kindness. Looks like she was wrong.

"Seriously? That's cool. Do you have a favorite character yet?" It was at this moment that she realized that she had traded chores with her sister, Andy, and had to start heading towards the stables. "Dammit. I just remembered I promised Andy that I'd take over for her in the stables today. Mind walking with me?"

Yes. Just because the median average is the way it is doesn’t mean there aren’t expectations. Back in 2004, I moderated an Arena-style role-playing message board and participated as a principal participant as well. There were many people who were good people of various “skill levels” and I can tell you that objectively that the bad did not define the good. People grossly misunderstand when I criticize a concept or idea that I am criticizing everyone; which is frankly, not the case.

I actually think that it is quite common that when a person states a general statement about a general group that it is taken as that they are criticizing everyone in said group, but, like you said, that isn't the case. This sort of irks me, in a way, because people just assume things and then start arguments. It's stupid.

It had been weeks since she had last seen another human. Another human that didn’t drag their feet and smell of decay, that was, but then again, these creatures, these zombies were not humans. Ashton had found that out the day she came home and her parents had been turned themselves. You had to shove all thoughts of these things ever once being human, ever having families, jobs, people who cared for them, straight out of that pretty little head of yours. The only thing they were out to do was to kill, and that made you have only one goal: survive.

She took a deep breath, coming into the entrance of the town, scanning the streets for any sign of anyone or anything, a her streaked brown with dirt, the scratches on her legs visible due to her shorts. Ashton gave a quick look at her pet, Zeus, before looking back up again and spotting the school at the end of the street. Quickly picking up her pace, she would jog over to the building, opening the squeaking door, the sound making her bit her lip. Why could doors never be quiet? Making a stupid move she would say her first words in the town while getting a good grip on her bat. ”Hello. Anyone there?”

Good. Excellent. Everyone was here and accounted for. When Alex walked in and asked for permission slip, the girl couldn't help but giggle. "Oh please. Your chaperone isn't that strict." Next was Jethart. Hearing the boys remark, she continued to smile and roll her eyes. "Shut your kind, introverted mouth, silly. I'm sure everyone has everything they need, and if they don't, oh well. Ariel shrugged her shoulders. Then there was Jamie, who she quickly hugged before Gia came in and stole her away, giving everyone a hug of her own. Jace with his pat on the head that she swatted away, glaring at the boy. Next was Little Miss Flop On The Couch - Cass. Then again, Ariel couldn't say anything to the girl, it was the perfect way to get comfy.

"Okay. Here's the thing guys. I put all of our names into a randomizer and the person who's name pops up gets to close there eyes, point there finger at the map and that will be where we go. It'll happen the whole time through the trip, and everyone will get to pick one destination. So..." She pulled up the randomizer, clicking enter. Holding up the phone so everyone else could see the results she would say: "Jet, get your ass over here and pick the destination. Eyes closed."

I'd also like to point out that I think we've all had our own different experiences on RPG and perhaps other sites and can attest to the fact that there are good and bad apples in every bunch.
