Chincf nodded his head slightly as Carek drops the dead rabbits at his paws. Just looking at them is making his mouth water, but there are pups back at the camp, and they need to be fed first. Grunting softly, the beta male shakes out his fur and turns towards the border. He sighed heavily. Carek was way too eager to go marching over there to put the cats in their place, and that worried him. But he couldn't very well refuse, since he had promised. Chincf heard Shadow's howl faintly on the wind and his ears perked up. Relief spread through him, at least the she-wolf wasn't hurt. He'd cuff her ears later for wandering off without telling him where she was going, but at least she was alright.
"Alright, alright, fine." he caved, padding towards the last place they had found tiger scent. "Let's go and talk to them." he narrowed his eyes at Carek, putting extra emphasis on the word 'talk'.

Tikaani sat up straight as Shadow stopped in her hunt and tipped her head back to howl. Tikaani knew she was probably calling for her littermate, Kai, but Shadow wanted help and she figured another extra set of paws wouldn't hurt, right? She'd come out here to help the hunting party bring back prey after all. Keeping low to the ground, she stayed downwind and crept around to join the dark coloured she-wolf. "Hey, Shadow." she whispered, crouching beside her packmate. "I know you're probably calling for Kai, but I was nearby so I figured I'd come and help too. What do you need me to do?"

The tigress' attention is diverted from Avir back to the bigger cub as she stirs and leaps backwards. The cub planted her feet and her fur fluffed out, indicating that she was afraid. Saaba twitched her tail and dropped down to Ezy's height, looking her calmly in the eye. "Take it easy, cub. It's alright. Avir and I won't hurt you." she promised, looking between Ezy and Calypso. "You're both very very young, it's far too early in your life for you to be out on your own, especially just after winter. Prey is hard enough to find even when you're big like we are and you know how to catch it." her whiskers twitched. "We don't have to talk about what happened to your families if you don't want to, but Avir and I can teach you to hunt, help you to get stronger so you can go out and survive properly on your own."

Personal Style: As a Wookiee, Stehrr doesn’t really have much of a ‘style’ since he doesn’t really...wear much? He crafted a vest/harness type garment that he can wear on his body that lets him keep his bowcaster within reach at all times. But other than that, he kind of just goes eu naturale. Just his fur and claws, nothing special.

If he can somehow be bribed or persuaded to sit through it, he will have a good bath and let someone help him comb the tangles out so that he looks presentable. But be prepared for the whining and the complaining that will ensue the whole way through. Once he drops his guard, his natural curiosity also makes a reappearance. He likes examining technology and taking things apart to discover how they work. He just can’t help himself, curiosity killed the Wookiee, I guess.
Stehrr is also extremely volatile. He can go from zero to a thousand in nothing flat, and will be swinging/throwing anything through the air before you know what’s happened. It takes some careful coaxing (and more often than not bribery with food) to calm him down again. Don’t make him mad unless you want your appendages ripped off and re-arranged.

History

The Reason You Chose The Side You Did: “I was lost, hurt and confused after my brother betrayed me. I didn’t know where I was or where to go from there, when the Rebels found me even though I wasn’t sure about them at first, they gave me a purpose by teaching me how to fly and giving me my post on the Raven. And if Chewbacca trusts them, then they can’t be all that bad, can they? I owe them my help after they helped me.”

History:
Born on Kashyyyk, Stehrr was the younger son of a Tribe Chieftain, he had an older brother Liccick who he looked up to and aspired to be like. He grew up as most Wookiees did, learning the ways of the tribe and in line to be his brother’s advisor (Liccick was set to take over as Chieftain from their father). While Stehrr respected the tribe’s ways, he could not help his natural curiosity and often snuck off when his mentors, brother or father were not watching him in order to watch the humans who would come to visit the planet occasionally. He found their machines interesting and spent a lot of his spare time examining the ones they abandoned and left behind after they left, learning his mechanics skills and beginning to gain basic knowledge of navcomputers and ship controls this way.

However he knew that the other Wookiees might be suspicious of such interests and so he managed to keep it hidden from them for the most part. He and his brother remained close and maintained a fairly good relationship, passing their trials and becoming members of the tribe that their father could be proud of. Eventually, their father would fall ill and pass away, thus Liccick took over as Chieftain of their tribe just as the Clone Wars hit the Wookiee homeworld in full swing. Liccick and Stehrr took their tribe to join the others in the battle to defend Kachirho. When the Clones turned on Yoda and Chewie and Tarfful helped him to escape, Stehrr was left with the rest of the Wookiees as the Empire began to bring in contract slavers who began taking any Wookiee strong enough from their tribes and forcing them into servitude.

Stehrr almost escaped such a fate, but was betrayed by Liccick who sold him out to a group of slavers in a dirty deal where he bartered Stehrr’s life instead of his own, proclaiming that his brother was the better choice as if Liccick were taken, the rest of their village would revolt against their tormentors. Liccick promised to keep the rest of the Wookiees in line if they would only take Stehrr in his place. It wasn’t until the troopers snuck up on him unawares and shot him full of tranqs that Stehrr realised he had been betrayed. When he awoke, he was in chains and bound for Nar Shaddaa.

Stehrr was then beaten and made to learn Galactic Basic so that he would understand the commands given to him. Initially too weak to fight back due to malnutrition, he waited it out and gathered strength until he could escape. Furious at the treatment of himself and the other Wookiees, Stehrr then went on a rampage, killing his ‘trainers’ and fleeing into the slums. Stehrr attempted to go back for his fellow Wookiees and help them escape as well, where he was re-captured and beaten back into submission once more, before being prepared to be shipped off-world. There he was taken aboard a smuggler ship, piloted by Luke Teth. Luke helped to bust the Wookiee out of his imprisonment and killed the handlers who had been sent to watch over him so they couldn't return to the other slavers and warn them, thus freeing Stehrr from his captivity. Stehrr was surprised by the act of kindness from a human, whose entire race he had sworn to hate since coming into contact with the slavers, and as the ultimate display of gratitude, he swore a life debt to Luke. The two have been pretty much inseparable ever since. When Luke came into contact with the Rebels, Stehrr travelled with him back to the Rebels' base, where he was re-united with Chewie (who he recognised vaguely from the battle several years earlier). The older Wookiee taught Stehrr how to pilot a ship and once he had learnt all he could, Stehrr was recruited to Luke’s team on the Raven. He has yet to return to Kashyyyk since the incident, and he's a little afraid to. He doesn't want to fight with his brother despite how dishonorable Liccick acted, and he's afraid that if he sees him again he might lose it and fly into another rage...

Back in his days as a criminal, Luke was the smuggler contracted to transport Stehrr off-world from Nar Shaddaa after he had been 'broken in' (i.e. taught Basic and forced to submit to his trainers). Once Luke realised that the 'important cargo' he was transporting was in fact a Wookiee, Luke immediately set out to help Stehrr get free. Ever since then, Stehrr has sworn a life debt to the Raven's Captain, so wherever Luke goes, the big hairy Wookiee goes too!

"Matthew funny and nice. Stehrr likes Matthew, good friend."
Matthew's tendency to crack jokes and find the humour in situations helps Stehrr to loosen up when he's feeling blue or a little bit stressed; the mercenary knows that jokes at Stehrr's expense are out of bounds and the Wookiee respects that. He likes the man and enjoys spending time with him, the occasional game of holochess here and there. Stehrr is starting to trust Matt and if the relationship keeps up as it is, who knows, maybe they'll even be best friends eventually!

"Sutton likes Wookiee language. Asks me to teach her."
Sutton's natural curiosity for learning new languages and new things led to her approaching Stehrr when he joined the crew, to ask him to teach her Shyriiwook. This was an instant 'gold star' against Sutton's name for the Wookiee, and she earnt his respect then and there. The fact that she was willing to learn his language herself so that she could begin to communicate with him rather than just relying on Luke or another translator droid makes him very happy. He's more than pleased to teach her!

"Don't trust Naboo female. She lie and deceive..."
While Corrina herself is generally pleasant to Stehrr (and he returns the formalities out of necessity), Stehrr doesn't trust her one bit. She's a politician, which means she lies and cheats for a living. Even if he didn't have trust issues initially, the Wookiee would have found it hard to trust her in the first place. He never knows if she really means what she says or if she has her fingers crossed behind her back, as it were. He's wary of her but wouldn't behave aggressively towards her.

"My teeth just fine! No brush!"
For the most part, Stehrr likes Kayala. She doesn't understand him, but she's polite, she always smiles when they talk and she doesn't treat him like a dumb animal. She does, however, gripe at him for the state of his fur and his teeth, which exasperates Stehrr. He's always checking over his shoulder to try and avoid her creeping up behind him with another comb or a toothbrush!

"Shiny droid! Stehrr like droid!"
If it were possible to call it that, Stehrr is just about smitten with HK. The droid intruigues him, and he's always pestering it, trying to take it apart or helping Gol when the droid goes into the garage for maintenance. HK is just about the only being on the Raven who can call Stehrr a 'walking carpet' and get away with it, because Stehrr just likes him that much. The Wookiee thinks they're friends, unfortunately for HK, because the droid's feelings are not mutual.

⚜/☮ Gol Zhavromi ⚜/☮
"I like Gol. Gol likes to build things. Gol teach me how to build things."
Gol is another good friend of Stehrr's. They share a love of tinkering, and when he's not busy piloting the Raven Stehrr can be found hanging around with Gol in the garage. The Zabrak teaches him how to take things apart nicely, and how to put them back together so that they work again. He enjoys spending time with her, even if sometimes her translator bot misinterprets his words and it gets kind of confusing and/or frustrating for them.

"Doc is nice, too. Talks with me and Gol. I think we friends."
Since Nali often comes to the garage to chat with Gol, he ends up spending a lot of time with Stehrr as well. Stehrr can tell he makes Nali a little bit nervous, but the Wookiee tries his best to be friendly and he'd like to think of the doc as his friend, too. Like with Kayala, he doesn't like it when Nali tries to coax him to brush his teeth, but he knows all he has to do is growl at him a little and Nali will back off.

Initially too weak to fight back due to malnutrition, he waited it out and gathered strength until he could escape. Furious at the treatment of himself and the other Wookiees, Stehrr then went on a rampage, killing his ‘trainers’ and fleeing into the slums. Stehrr wanted to go back and help to free some of his fellow Wookiees from the same fate, but he simply was unable to; the slavers were too many and he lacked the stealth skills that would be required to pull it off. Not to mention he had to contend with evading the slavers altogether or risk being recaptured. He managed to avoid their search parties and survive using the skills he had been taught in his younger years; and even managed to scrounge together the right parts (after many months of searching), to build himself a new bowcaster. Eventually, he was found by Rebel supporters, who noted his natural curiosity and his interest in ships and the like. They brought him back to the Rebels where he was re-united with Chewie (who he recognised vaguely from the battle several years earlier), the older Wookiee taught Stehrr how to pilot a ship and once he had learnt all he could, Stehrr was recruited to Luke’s team on the Raven.

History

The Reason You Chose The Side You Did: What choice was there for a child who grew up to be a woman on a planet who crafted and created such vessels to go into space and make their mark? She joined the Imperial Starfleet as soon as she came of age and all she ever wanted was to be in command of her own vessel. She at one point had small thoughts of switching sides to the rebels, dabbling with the idea. That was until the attack on her home world. Her allegiance was set in stone at that point.

History: For a child born on the planet of Kuat, there are a handful of choices of where your life can be. Nearly every last one of them involves star ships in some form of fashion. Children of farmers tend to become farmers, children of drive designers tend to become drive designers. Well, not always, but most of the time

Jesmand does not know who her mother was. All she does know was that the woman died in child birth and her father refused to speak about her while she was growing up. This left a little girl, on a heavily fortified planet surrounded by the Empire, being raised by a single father who designed Drives for the various ships that the Empire required. She spent her younger years alongside her father getting her hands dirty and marveling at the sights which were built before her very eyes.

When she came of age, there was no hesitation or discussion of what she would do or where she would go. She wanted to touch the stars as it were, or as close as one can realistically come to such a thing; commanding her own ship in the fleet. Her father was against it but there is something about a young person that is headstrong - They don't freaking listen to daddy! She was off without a second thought.

Years went by, slowly climbing the ranks but always keeping her nose to the grindstone and following orders. She kept her nose clean and never took any time off, save for one short period when her father died in an accident back on her home world. She left only to bury him and was back post haste. While she did love her father, she knew there was no good in dwelling on the matter. Working helped her place one foot in front of the other and carry on.

She wondered for a short period of time if she should change sides but that quickly faded away thanks to one particular incident. Now that her father was gone and her allegiance was set in stone, there as nothing to hold her back; but herself. Now while she has done nothing to have her thrown into chains, her mouth has gotten her transferred from ship to ship until finally those above her agreed. It was better to have her in charge. She had the skills, the battle tested experience; succeeding where others had failed when under temporary or battle field assignment. The Vindicator was hers and she will stop at nothing to ensure its success.
