Ironically, Hemingway had a very sparse style of prose. He is honestly one of the reasons I try to chop it down to the essentials. I am always trying to fix run-on sentences and other embellishments. It's a never-ending thing.

I look up to Hemingway when it comes to minimalism without losing quality also. That's what I call writing with class. :P

Professionally, when writing e-mails, I do that because I'm trying to keep them as short as possible. People get too many e-mails and have a very 'tl;dr' mentality as a result. Typically, five lines is the golden mean.

Yeah, especially with how people are being fed with info overload 24/7, there's barely anyone who would spend too much time reading pages of thesis-like writing when that can be summarized in a few well-chosen words. Like, I have school, so I can't possibly neglect my studies to read long-winded writings - that's unproductive to my learning.

(I'm still having some trouble to keep my rambles short, but peeps who have talked to me know I've been trying my best.)

Regarding post length, I'd say I'm flexible with it as long as it's not a one-liner without any proper context for the next person to respond to. (Not everyone is Hemingway, yeah.)

I'm still trying out different styles and ways to see which one works best for me or for the specific genres I'm writing for, but the general gist is: as much as I'm capable of vomiting out paragraphs after paragraphs of purple prose, personally I'd want to keep that as minimal as possible (or none at all). This is a writing and storytelling forum, not a thesis forum.

Especially in an action scene, get to the point to keep the plot moving. Nobody cares for pages worth of internal monologue that none of the other characters can see or react to. Like, it's an action scene, not some self-absorbed flashback shenanigans.

Guess I misunderstood the question, or it wasn't clear for me. ^^; Anyway, English name for hider. The romanji can just be in the name section, since technically everyone will call him by his English name and not the transliteration, lols. That's why I wrote it that way in the quote in my previous message - the main name should be the hider's name, yeah.

The reason why I'm giving a heads up is in the case where someone needs me to be online at the same time to work out the kinks of the collab, which I'm saying it now that I cannot. This will result in longer delays from me because I won't be able to respond asap.

No. Both "Daniel Shichimori" and "Shichimori Danieru" are his real name, but one is the actual English spelling, the other is merely a romanji transliteration of his Japanese name (which, I can't show you what exactly I mean because I do not know which exact characters he's using for the surname, but "Danieru" is written as ダニエル in katakana).

I can use the chat and even the comment functions to leave notes each time I add my parts, just don't expect me to be online at the same time as the rest of you. Partly due to the browser problem I've already mentioned, partly due to timezone (for those in regions outside of Asia/Austrialia), and partly because I am prioritizing school and RL over all online activities for this entire month.

Regarding the name, "Danieru" is a Japanese transliteration of the English name "Daniel", so personally I'd suggest that the transliteration should be kept separate for clarity and avoid confusion. For example:

Daniel Shichimori <-- This is how his name should be spelled in English
(Shichimori Danieru) <-- This is the romaji spelling of his Japanese name

As for collab, if the majority goes with Google Docs, sure, but do take note that I will not join the collab unless there's no one online at the moment when it's my turn due to a haunted problem with my browser - it will crash when there are more than 2 people on the doc at the same time.

  Pale-skinned and petite at 151 cm (4' 11"), Cera has what humans would call a "child-like" appearance, which doesn't reflect the true age of the ancient Levikyrian race (like, they are waaaaay older than the history of homo sapiens). She is described to have long, light-pink locks that go all the way down to the back of her knee, ruby-colored eyes that reflects the meaning of her middle name, and pointed ears that gives her an elfish look - all of which are an understatement to what she's truly capable of.
  
  She mostly appears in clothing that screams Gothic Lolita fashion: black, Victorian-esque dresses lined with pearly-white frills along the hems, ribbons everywhere, all the way down to those boots that have done a great job of getting the absolute territory of the female charm right in that sweet spot. Even though she may lack a nice rack or booty, those legs are still good enough to turn a healthy guy on.
