devaronian is the race you're looking for. They're basically thugs for the hutts for the most part.

Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

"Severnus hasn't come back yet. We have yet to be ordered to go out, and we aren't fully prepared yet. Shadow Blade you may be a technical 'Greater Being' but don't think that you hold a place over Master Severnus. More over we aren't fully prepared with the knowledge we need. The clerics are still receiving information from the scouts. We go where he says to go. That includes you remember not to overstep your boundaries, and get ready for our work." grumbled one of the Frumentarri in their lair. A few of them were still stocking up on poisons, and knives. The others were working out bows, and arrows. Some were sharpening their knives. "You're stronger than some of us we're aware but you're also brash. I will remind you we are the Emperor's silent death. We are betrayal, and destroyers of politicians. We aren't rash. We aren't immediate. We strike when it benefits the Empire itself." one of the others said aloud as he fired an arrow into a target stand deciding it needed tweaking he unstrung the bow, and prepared to re-do it.
The explosive blast was mitigated somewhat by the fact that Valter was able to use his instincts to reflexively jump for cover onto the ground. He wasn't dazed quite as much as the others due to that, and his armor's protective properties helped. "FIND THE HOSTILES, AND ELIMINATE THEM! NOW! GUARDS UP!" shouted Valter as things started to go to shit. He didn't think it would go this bad so quickly. He had thought this to be a quick, and easy mission so far only to get that thrown out the window. This was no worse than what he had seen, and done, in Nal Hutta when rival hutts had issues with each other they tended to get nasty. His helmet shielded him from gross smells, and the fumes around the air. Filtration systems were very nice indeed. People thought he wore this armor just because he was a Mandalorian...still he couldn't help but wonder if the weaker willed individuals around him weren't faring as well keeping his eyes peeled in the nearby area he prepared for a possible retaliation. "Keep focused we don't know if there's anyone else around here! Just because the werehouse is done for doesn't mean we're out of the loop yet." Valter said very firmly as he kept his guard, and mind up not intending to get shot like an idiot. Even if he did a blaster bolt wouldn't get through his armor easily.
@Reflection@Kazemitsu in case you didn't know I sent messengers to bring you two to the war room. I've given you two something to do now.
"That would be ideal. Civilians are being hunted likely by the knights in this scenario, that means wounded people is almost guaranteed. We may need to fulfill our role as peace keepers if need be, and help the civilians. The word of the Band of the Bear's name will spread that this new mercenary group helps innocent people. If we make ourselves out to be heroes we will learn more in the end. All the while the Empire will have its name hidden. We can even incorporate this 'Band' label into our empire eventually and then boost our own fame. If only a portion of our people are heroes in the eyes of the common folk think of what our entirety may hold." commented Dolton as he pressed his poleaxe onto the ground with a thud. Grey considered this for a moment, and thought it would be best to be prepared. "Yes that sounds good indeed. I'm sure the alchemist center is still up and running?" questioned Grey as Claudius almost seemed offended, "MY LORD YOU WOUND ME! I WOULD NEVER LET ONE PIECE OF ARCE BELLUM FALL INTO DISREPAIR! NEVER! OF COURSE IT IS UP IN RUNNING IF NOT THEN ASK ME AND I SHALL BUNGLE THE CLERICS NEEDED TO MAKE IT OPERABLE!" commented Claudius as Severnus grumbled irritably. "We need to be quick about things then the more time we waste the more we will waste the lives of those people. They seem to have some value I suppose."
Chapter 1 - Another Day Another Dead Hero

===

The day was just like any other day in the city of Musutafu, Japan. Bright, shiny, and full of heroic hope!....How annoying right? The city was bright, and fun dozens of school kids ran around gawking at heroes, and doing what they always did. It was rather obnoxious that the villains were forced to stay in the shadows like today. It got tiresome to constantly skulk around for fear of being carted off to jail be hero number #44453, and his sidekick punch kick lad. Long were the days where real crime was around now it was just all something out of a comic book. People hoped, dreamed, and desired fame, fortune, and the love of the public but villains saw through all of that disgusting hope. They saw the admiration for what it was: False God worship.

That's why today was going to be a rather eventful Tuesday afternoon as Black Tree had decided to stage not one, or two, but three different bank heists today all at the same time to prove a point that the heroes needed to wake the hell up...it also helped that business has been stagnant thanks to a drug, and racketeering ring behind dismantled by the hero Agent Orange. It was today in this back alley bar in downtown that the members of a subgroup inside of the bowels of Musutafu, Japan that the villains planned their part of the deal.

....

(basement entrance next to bathroom)

Shade Walker sat at one of the bar's tables waiting for the call to move in. They had not been sent out in case the plans had been leaked. Shade Walker was a veteran villain, and renown hero killer. Underneath that long black hooded robe sat a monster of a man. He always wore a striped silver mask with no distinguishing features other than that. It painted the picture of a man without a face. No one really knew who he was outside of his reputation. Some believe he was a former hero to be. Others say he was a slum dog from off the streets. Everyone agreed his quirk was terrifying.

Ghostly Apparition. It was quirk that allowed him to phase in, and out of any physical material allowing him to hard block most heroes. How it worked was up to interpretation as he never shared its full explanation but he went into battle wearing chains he used to break bones, necks, and tangle up enemies. He would often phase through opponents leaving them a helpless mess. He was most renown for once killing a large group of congressional politicians with a IED during an important emergency meeting effective crippling Japan's government for almost a week. He used his power to strike fear into any hero with physical abilities, and heroes dreaded him so much that they say that his mere presence increased the chances of victory by at least 15%. At one point it was said he permanently crippled a top ranking hero.

He was not wearing his infamous chains right now but he ran his hands across the map of the area they were going to be sent to. They were scarred, and ashy looking adding to his ghostly appearance. He grumbled words unbidden to anyone nearby him as he went over his plan.

At the Bar sat Captain East...an ex-hero turned most wanted villain. After murdering his ex-wife, and five of his best friends one night he was picked up by Black Tree after an extensive search for him. The man still wore his hero gear despite his darker occupation. He stunk of booze as his blonde hair, now greasy and disheveled unlike his Adonis looks during his hero days, clung to his face. His hair was short cut, and his skin a tanned white. Long were the days where he proudly declared 'Look towards the East it burns shining red!' now he just sat there waiting for his next assignment. He was at one point the #4 hero in all of Japan, AND the US. He had many admirers, and he had many friends. However what broke him so badly he kept to himself. He was often partnered with Shade Walker in order to keep a close eye on him. His hero gear was standard garb. A white shit emblazoned with an E on the center with bright red. A bright blue cape that was gaudy but fashionable. Red boots, and a utility belt. His gloves were blue as well and were specially made, alongside his boots, to handle his own quirk, Man of Tomorrow which granted him...no real super power per say however all of his physical abilities were unmatched. He could jump up onto the top of a tall skyscraper, punch through steel like paper, and clap hard enough to create small sonic booms. A juggernaut by any other words. But all he was doing now was sitting drinking and spilling even more booze on his clothes now losing their color. He had little interest in anything now of days often giving blank stares he followed orders of the Blackened. That was all he was needed to do.

The person who specialized in transporting the people to places, usually as a getaway driver, sat playing at the arcade machine. He growled in annoyance as the game beat him for the umpteenth time. His name was Kazuma and he looked like a typical street level thug but he could open portals to other areas at will, even multiple ones, though he was no technically affiliated with the group he was well known, and respected in the community for his work ethic even if he was childish, and rude at times. He made sure everyone got where they wanted to go, and only left when things got way to hot for even him. The bartender was a simple henchmen according to Shade Walker nothing more to note of him other than the fact that he looked like a butler.

The upper bar may look normal but underneath was a hidden maze of workshops, and training areas designed, and made by the Blackened's own personal company in order to get everyone in shape. It was a stellar amazing hideout. As the dull sound of jazz played in the background everyone was simply waiting for the phone to ring...
Welcome to our organization gentlemen, and ladies. This is a place where we of more...variable mindsets come together to work for ourselves rather than the general public. The Heroes of this world? Corrupt. The goody two shoes? They don't get the big picture. That's why I've come to the conclusion that all of us don't need to really play this game. We can run this world how we want because if anyone should be the big shots...its us. Japan especially is the place where heroes are common. That's why we're starting here. If we break down the walls here then every other nation will know that we're the big guys on top. I've recruited you for this express purpose of allowing me to reach the top. Once I do you all will get your reward. I promise you as a villain of my word. Some of us still believe in professional pride after all...

With that being said here's the deal you all will do what villains do...burn, pillage, and destroy when I say so, or when you feel it might benefit us. Hell do if it might benefit you in the short run. Just remember...you're a part of a family now...a big family...a strong family. And family don't like rats. Rats ruin a good household after all. We all know what happens to rats right? I hope so. Now that is out of the way I want you to understand that people around you, the normal everyday people, are expendable trash. Don't worry about them unless the incident will bring hell down on us. Keep your eyes out for heroes...and once again Welcome to our family tree kids....

"Yours truly, The Blackened."

That was the letter given to every member of the criminal organization run by the dark man who signed that very letter. A personal welcome to a union of villains set in Musutafu, Japan. A group that is set out to take over the world...or simply make the life of heroes, and peoples everyday life a living hell. What's the point in making a life when it benefits others more than you? Ambition is what separates sheep from the everyday people. When we reach our goals we will either be in the darkest of hells, or the brightest of heavens we will rule, or we will fail. Let's not make it the latter...

This specific group is situated out of a bar, also known as The Stray Sheep, in the back alleys of the city. Run by an villain renown as 'Shade Walker', the famous ex-hero 'Captain East' who turned to crime after a violent mishap that involved his wife, and best friends which left them dead by his own hands; the group is setting out to make their world there's and though they aren't a prime group just yet they will be one day...

Rules:
1. All standard roleplay rules apply including power, and meta playing. If you need to ask a question to the GM's do so.
2. All villains must have a born quirk, or no quirk at all. Things like the One for All aren't allowed.
3. Rivals, and personal villains are allowed without an character sheet BUT they must be passed through me personally.
4. Quirks need to be explained thoroughly. Weaknesses, strengths, limits, and how they work must be explained. The more complex the quirk the more info is needed. One can not just have 'water manipulation' for example. What can you manipulate? the air, just normal water, ice? Can you move small bodies of water or large? Can you breath in water? You get the point.
5. ALL characters must be accepted by the gm's before posting no exceptions. You may not post your character in the sheet section until the sheet is accepted in the OOC.
6. Length is expected the minimal post is about a paragraph and a half per post and at least two paragraphs for the character sheets if not more.
7. As GM I reserve the right to refuse anything for any reason, or lack there of.

Alright this seems like it got a lot of interest rather quickly. I'll make the OOC. I'll still accept more people in.
Heroes...a modern world filled with nothing but fame grubbing, people pleasing, children kissing, morons who do all they can to stay relevant until they grow too old to do the job. This world is filled with 'em...people who want to get by....by being the best 'model of the week' human being. They join agencies, they make big speeches, and they act like they all are superior to the the appointed 'villains' who want to use their own abilities for their own doing. Some of us though aren't in the villain business just because we want to take the easy way out. Not just because we don't degrade ourselves to their level. Some of us have some sort of professional pride about us. Some of us want the world to bow to us. Not us to them. The sniveling heroes compete in self righteous self advertisement. They sell THEMSELVES to the public in order to get themselves put above them. Even those who profess a sincere moral high ground can't escape this hellish corporate bureaucracy.

But we villains here see the big picture. We with quirks with actual worth are superior to these 'saints' walking around us those false idols. Heroes are beneath all of us. Just because every boy, and girl wants to be one doesn't mean the rest of us grow out of that phase. This group before us intends to prove this...by taking out every pathetic hero in order to get our own way. Some of us may just be in it because they're crazed beasts who want a good fight. A REAL fight. Others are in it for the money. They want to rule the world through cold hard cash the only real resource any modern human wants. Want a cool car? You buy it? You want a good gun? You cash in on the black market, or gunstores. You want to be a business man? You gotta have that cold hard mula. Perhaps you're not even here because you want to be? That some hero blackmailed you, or something shady along those lines, and now you're here to make sure you don't get thrown in some super dungeon. Doesn't matter our goals all end in the same end.

Formed by a super villain known as Blackened we are a part of a group stationed out of Japan. We have no 'real name' for ourselves we work for Blackened in order to get what we want. But some of us have taken to calling us The Dark Tree because of how our structure works. We have low ranking thugs all the way up to high profile villains. It doesn't matter some days we're causing trouble for agencies, other days we burning down cities to make some distractions. Hell at times we even pick a big guy on the block to end...permanently. We're not good people...we're all in this for ourselves.

Hello everyone this is the start of a roleplay about a different perspective on things. A lot of people like to be the heroes. I mean who doesn't? They don't get locked up if they screw up usually. However sometimes I just like to be evil. Dark. Cruel. This isn't a roleplay for morally upstanding hero characters. More like 'do what you want' villains. We will have a hierarchy as each of us has to listen to Blackened in the end. If you feel like your character can rebel he, or she can go off on their own but then you'll probably need to make a new one because Blackened is pretty much the Lex Luthor of this villain world. He runs everything from his perch, and he hates competition. So while you can have your own agenda he will be the driving force in this roleplay. Because well...we need some sort of narrative don't we?

This roleplay doesn't have a planned out plot. I intend to make this roleplay as it comes if that turns you off then so be it you don't have to join. I have some 'events' planned out but there is no serious story that we will be tied down to. This doesn't make this a 'sandbox' roleplay as we will often be working together.

In order to make this work a little better I will not be making my own player character for this instead I will be working off higher ranking NPC's, and hero characters who will be our enemies. The whole goal of this organization is control. We hate the heroes. We hate being pushed down on the social hierarchy. And we certainly freaking hate being threatened just because we're not willing to work minimum wage in exchange for not shilling ourselves to corporate to pay our bills. My posts may be small but that is due to the fact that they are NPC's and thus their inner thoughts aren't privy, or necessary for information. If you want to know something about them you'll have to ask them.

Our activities will range from bank robbing, to terrorism, to flat out hero killing. Perhaps more if you got ideas you can throw them out in, or out of character.

I will be looking for a Co-Gm to help me do events small, or big. I am not very great at making small event scenarios I prefer big time events. If you don't want to be co-gm but do an event please ask me and I'll consider it.

The main character behind our part of the evil organization will be a villain called 'Shade Walker' who has intangibility as a quirk. He is not the main villain of the organization just a high profile villain.

If you have any questions you can ask below. I'm willing to answer what I can.
"And it seems we have another member of the order with us. Welcome. You're free to assist us if you wish." commented Grey off handedly as Shadow Blade entered the room. He was of no interest to Grey at the moment. He was just another face growing in the increasing amount of people who played the game still being here. More over in context he now worked for an NPC, who worked for him. He was literally on another rung of the food chain below Grey at this point in time. He'd solve that at another time. "The kings, and queens of foreign kingdoms are beneath us. Trash begets trash. I could send a contingent into any country in the world, and rot its court in the matter of a week to a month. Nobles are treasonous, disgusting creatures." Severnus mouthed as he frowned in disgust at the thought of enemy rulers. "OUR ARMY OF VALOR LIKELY KNOWS NO EQUAL, WE SHALL DO AS WE PLEASE! MORE OVER THEY PROBABLY DON'T KNOW OF OUR EXISTENCE. TO THE PEOPLE WE ARE BUT A TRAVELLING GROUP OF MERCENARIES, OR VIGILANTES! SEEK GLORY! NOT FAILURE!" Claudius said as he argued in favor of Severnus, and Shadow Blade. "I see what you mean all of you. Nanami will go to the village with Dolton; Shadow Blade, and Severnus can take a contingent of spies to the outpost of knights, and try to ring information out of them there. The other greater beings can assist Nanami in doing as she will. As Emperor I will stay back until needed I do not fear for my life but going out in great numbers will only seek to show off our power. Let's keep an ace up our sleeve." commented Grey as he looked at the table.

"Can the clerics perform a mass teleportation spell?" asked Grey as Dolton nodded. "I will bring the law my liege. Our clerics shall perform a teleportation spell to wherever you wish us to go...within a reasonable distance." Dolton added on as Severnus spoke up, "What of the civilians? What shall we call ourselves?" questioned Severnus as Grey thought up an answer quickly, "The Band of The Bear. A suitable enough mercenary group under the name of a man called Howard Redfield. A false name begets the need to make sure the Imperri doesn't draw flak until we reveal ourselves...if we even need to." Grey said as Claudius nodded. "It is as you please my king." Claudius said simply as he looked over to a group of messengers telling them to go round up the other greater beings to tell them the plan, and to bring them to the meeting room. If they refused to do so then they were free to leave Arce Bellum by the end of the day.
