@Mae Ok, gotcha! Sorry for the delay, work kinda ate me yesterday. Will catch up on reading and get to working on a post!

Ardour has probably been in the tavern for a few hours, trying to gather some information as one does. Probably by just-- trying to eavesdrop on conversations and talking to whatever drunkards are willing to entertain him, trying to see what more he can learn about the rumoured treasures (and dangers) below. I assume there's a lot of stories both true and not, so I doubt he would've found anything too useful out, though. But should I roll something for that anyway? Watch him get Nat 1 and hear stories he did not sign up for.

Bear with me, that's a question I'll be asking a lot until I learn what warrants rolling and what doesn't :'D
Planning my post, so a quick Q: are there any Tieflings among the merry folk at the tavern? And should I roll a perception for it?
Whoo, awesome, we're a go!

I probably won't be able to post tomorrow, but I'll plan for a post on Friday. Ardour would probably not be the first to arrive anyway - he'd show up fashionably late with an empty vial that he's just putting away and go "pardons, the poison took longer than expected."

... Damnit, now I'm tempted.
You missed Lin and Ardour: During the raid, with Lin masquerading as a drow, Ardour caught sight of her transforming to her true form and, thinking that one can never have too many indebted friends, advocated for her life when the rest of the group arrived. She hasn't yet paid the debt of saving his life in turn, however she's bought him ale many a time in taverns, and used her powers to help him gain access to private gatherings in search for information to sell.

And that sounds good!
@Vertigo Hmm... I forgot about Kenku. I might have to say no to that; I intend for this to be high/medium roleplay. Not every conversation needs to end in a quest - and not every battle will end by killing or subduing all of the enemies. Their lack of voice might make this difficult for you. I want to stay true to the lore, but if you are dead set on the Kenku, then we can discuss it, or come up with an alternative (such as a raven-themed aarakocra with some kenku traits).

Hmm, I might have misunderstood their lore, then; I took this

can communicate only by using sounds they have heard. Most kenku use a combination of overheard phrases and sound effects to convey their ideas and thoughts.

to mean that as long as they have heard someone use certain words and phrases, they'd be able to use them in turn - it'd just be sort of a patchwork job and they wouldn't be really eloquent. Kind of like someone speaking a foreign language they're still learning; not able to use idioms or imaginative descriptions, but able to communicate on an understandable level by using what they know and substituting more complicated words for simpler ones.

EDIT: A tweet from Jeremy Crawford seems to suggest something similar.

Another one here, as well.

Could I PM my idea to you to see if it'd fly? (Pun unintended but fitting). If it seems like it'll be a no go in the end, that's also fine; I do have an old idea for an Aarakocra that I've yet to get to use, so it can be my backup. So I'm not dead set and can change if needed!
I think we're waiting for Cao to finish their Sheet?

Not sure if something else as well, I'm just going by the Char Tab.

I probably won't be able to post before the weekend/Friday anyhow though so I'm not in a big rush at least. Busy workweek is busy and hopefully soon over.
Got an idea for a Kenku Rogue. Well... It started as an idea last night, by now it's developed into a full concept and nearly complete backstory in my head. Welp.
While we're waiting, about this part:

Final thing to mention, the IC Post starts in the middle of the tavern. At least one member of the party has grabbed a table for the meeting - Who?

Amy volunteers for having been the table grabber?
Working on my character. Tomorrow is gonna be super hectic but hopefully I can get it in on Thursday!
Tentative interest; I've a few other things that I need to catch up on and a few new ones starting, so just wanna make sure I don't spread myself too thin before committing.
