Thanks, I got it now! Though the in depth version sounds cooler, I think for now, it'd be better for my poor brain to use the more straightforward and less in depth version. Just so I can get a gist of it in action first.

And with that, I'm all done with his purchases~

Also kind of unrelated I feel like I should be flooding the dungeon so you all can use your nifty underwater breathing skills. Like half the party is pretty comfy in a water environment.

Oh snap.

Now hiring, any aquatic creature willing to be an impromptu life boat for a friendly Tiefling.
Ooh, I see, thank you! So then, let's say I wanted to craft Alchemist Fire during the delve, for example. I'd then probably need to buy the materials in advance-- so when buying the Alchemist's Supplies now, would I add that 25Gp cost to the base cost of 50Gp? Meaning I'd pay 75Gp now and then have the materials to fix up Alchemist Fire later on (if the rolls bless me omg). Is that how the costs work? Or is the cost something I always pay at the time of crafting?

I'm sorry for the dumb questions omg.

Oh, one more question! He's proficient in Alchemist's Supplies, but I didn't buy that for him (yet?). I'm wondering if I should - what would he actually be able to make with it, and does it require other items? How long does it take to make things? I've never actually used one in any of my games, but I was supposed to pick one Artisan's Tools for him, and that seemed like the closest fit.

@DTHar@Lauder I hadn't thought about inventory in depth, tbh, I'm so used to having parties start at level 1 recently:

- No healing potions
- No antivenom
Max 1 Alchemist Fire Max 2 Acid

Sorry if that messes anyone up who has already bought stuff

Oh! I had Antitoxin. No sweat, I'll just swap it out.

On that note though, can we have poison? Cause I was eyeing some of those, and with the Antitoxin money refunded, Ardour might go for some of that.

Also, is Truth Serum okay?

He carries some suspicious shit, I swear.

The next few days are going to be a bit hectic, but I think I'm otherwise ready to start. Gonna fine-tune the inventory based on the answer, and working on the interaction with Cao atm.
@Vertigo I haven't advertised it very far outside my very small internet ring yet, so I wouldn't expect anyone to have heard of it yet. But I'm glad you're interested, and I'd love to have you!

Ohh, it's a system of your own making? Sorry, I missed that part-- sort of new to Tabletop still, so I thought it was a well-known thing and I was just out of the loop, haha.

That's pretty cool, I'm even more excited to test it out!

Not entirely sure what I plan to play yet. I'm tempted to adapt a character I didn't get to play much in regular RP into the format, though he's high school aged, so not sure if he's too young. Might come up with someone older instead - or age him up. Ah, choices.
^ Looks like ya got everything we discussed, so looks good to me!

If I understood the rotation correctly, I should have an interaction with Atanase as well, but I don't know anything about him yet. So I might need to wait to see the sheet first, unless you'd like to give me a quick summary, @Cao the Exiled?

Also as a heads up, I added purchases with my gold to the sheet, I hope it still checks out.

Copied over all the info to a new sheet! Hopefully. If I missed something, let me know and I'll fix it asap tomorrow.

Here's the goals/ideals thing I mentioned, just in case. I wrote it for myself, so it's a bit... wordy and messy. Some things might change once the game starts and I actually get to write and get into his head, but it's the baseline, and also explains how, even though he's Lawful Evil, he should not Fuck Everything Up (tm).

Will think on the party event and things tomorrow, once I reread everything and have a fresh set of eyes and brain!

EDIT: Ooh, I might buy something, though--- is our starting gold what we're given in our background? Because if so, ha, not sure I can do much with 15 gold.

His name is Ardour. Here's his background, for reference (mind, if I need to make edits, parts might change):

It's missing the last few years/encounter with the rest of the party still, though.

I've also got a blurb on his ideals/goals/some of his personality that I wrote when I was formulating him. Some details in it might change but it gives a general gist. I can post it here as well/summarize it, if you'd like. @lauder

@vertigo

Have you tried using Myth weaver?

I haven't yet, though I saw someone else use it and the format looked very clean. I might just transfer my things over there, if/when approved.
I'm basically done, but uh--- it turns out that I can't export the sheet to a PDF from Roll20. I can export it to a Vault and then import it to another game there, but I've no way of getting it so I could post it here (I tried to just... print it, but that broke the layout very badly - enough to be unreadable).

So hrm, I think I need to transfer all the info over to... a separate sheet. I'll get to that after dinner, but yeah, I'll be able to get the sheet in today for sure! It's just a copy paste job at this point.

As for the timeline and such, Ardour is 28, and probably one of the more recent additions to the group. Though I imagine they've done a few jobs together already, yeah. He's-- the kind of guy you wouldn't (and shouldn't) trust very easily, but if they've already worked together, he's been able to show that even though he's shady and has the worst sense of humour, he's always pulled through for the common goal. And from his end, the group has already ended up in his "people i won't betray even if i joke about it" category.
