Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

@ACHTUNG: Fairies come from their own pocket dimension in which they organize their efforts. They consider making and partnering with magical girls to be a very important job, essentially, as they are quite dedicated towards helping humanity repel the Negari.

@BrokenPromise: I'm still a little confused about why you chose to left, but it is your choice.

And I mean I love Symphogear, Magical girls in general, yuri, and am a gay woman myself so... you don't need to worry about that. ^^;
After this round of posting there might be some more stuff happening.
"A-ah?"

The girl was already hurrying away... ah, she hadn't been paying attention to where she was going, had she? And she'd bumped int othat girl and really kind of messed up... Akane sagged visibly. She had to watch where she was going more often... that girl seemed pretty upset about it so she really had messed up.

"I-I'm sorry!" she called again, trying to wave to the other girl. But as she attempted her long-ranged apology, another girl approached... one who seemed vaguely familiar to her somehow.

"U-um, no, I'm fine, I... I just wasn't watching where I was going..." Akane responded, trailing off, when asked if she was hurt. She wasn't, she hadn't hit the other girl or the ground particularly hard. In her bag, Melody had thankfully kept quiet since she got up.

"Ah? East Umitori? Um, yes, er... why do you ask...?" the redhead added, looking between both the girl who had approached her and the girl who was retreating. She hoped her apology had at least made things a little better...

@TheFake@Crimmy
Well, really all that's happened is that there's a festival and Makiko has most of the Miura Youth Organization members patrolling on the lookout for lost kids and stuff.

A lost kid was found, and needs to be taken to the Lost Children Station by the police department. Makiko is with her right now.

Her dad is also getting taken there to wait for her by Ren, currently by a "do it yourself" mochi-pounding stall. Aoi, who is also there, just picked up something weird on her antenna.

Meanwhile, a few other characters have just bought takoyaki.

I'd give everything a quick lookover though because I feel like I am not great at summaries. ^^;
He's not using shikigami. ^^;

He's got contracts with yokai, which is different from shikigami.
Accepted.

Nice to have someone using shikigami again!
@Cherrywitch: Repost it so I can approve it officially here. ^^;
@Cherrywitch: I'm sorry, I didn't want to push it in case you weren't interested.

It's still open for you to join though.
Honami Aoi

"Oh, that's right, isn't it?" Aoi said with a little bit of a nervous chuckle, rubbing the back of her head. She felt a little bit silly forgetting about obvious things like the PA system and the lost children station. Those were kind of obvious things to keep in mind in this sort of situation, weren't they?

Thankfully, it seemed like Ren quickly got a response to the father's relief, and that she'd be taking him to wait at the police station until the little girl was taken there.

"That's good!" the diminutive satori said, nodding cheerfully, "But are you sure you don't want anyone else to come with you just in case?"

Certainly, the idea of getting to stay behind and pound her own mochi was appealing, but Aoi didn't want to neglect her duties as part of the Youth Organization either! Still, though, all that mochi pounding... ahhh, but it was so important to help a family reunite too, even if it seemed like things would be fine what if they weren't?!

While Aoi was wracked with this clearly difficult decision, she suddenly felt... something. It wasn't possible for her to discern what, but her antenna picked up a strange feeling, that seemed to disappear as soon as it appeared. Her antenna twitched as she looked around.

"... Did anyone else..." she trailed off. It wasn't likely anyone else did feel that, but...

Amalie Georg Faust, Caster - Scandinavia

Caster blinked, surprised, when her Master suddenly scooped her up. Oh, one of the Dead had gotten behind her? That's what Gretchen must have been trying to say! Wait, share all the ice cream with the Dead?!

"Uwaaaaah? No no no, the Dead can't appreciate ice cream they can only appreciate meat and blood and that's no good to make ice cream with because ice cream is supposed to be sweet and tasty and not meaty and bloody meaty and bloody ice cream would be weird and probably not taste very good!" the diminutive girl cried, waving one hand as she clutched Gretchen to her chest, firmly, kicking her feet a little.

Meanwhile, Edeltaud's hand went cleanly through the chest of one of the Dead and then tore upwards, splitting the undead in half from the chest through its head. She flicked the blood off of her sleeve and glove and turned a way, a heap of corpses surrounding her. Carefully, she adjusted her suit.

She spoke no more, instead regarding those she presumed to be her allies.

Arturia Pendragon, Saber - Babylon

Saber considered the situation for a few moments in her mind. Not only had Lancelot referred to the Grail as corrupted, but Gilgamesh had as well. Did they refer to the destruction that had erupted from the Grail when... when Kiritsugu forced her to destroy it? But why would such a thing be so corrupted? At the moment, however, there were other matters to be discussed as well. This was no ordinary grail war, so the nature of the grail was now a secondary matter to preserving the safety of those who were in danger. That was, in the end, their mission.

Another matter that surprised her, however, was the prideful King of Uruk's attitude. He did not treat those under his power as trash to be thrown away at his whims. He was concerned for their safety. That had not been the impression she had gained from him, but it did not change her view of his philosophy in leadership.

Regardless, now Enkidu spoke to both herself and Lancelot.

"He was my opponent in the class of Archer during a Grail War," Saber explained, "Our ideals clashed, and he was the final opponent to lay between me and the grail..."

The short blonde trailed off for a few moments. She found herself unwilling to speak of just what had happened, of how Kiritsugu had forced her to destroy the grail.

"... Regardless, here we no longer seem to be opponents."
