Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

@1Charak2: ... Or it's because Seria was focused elsewhere and didn't necessarily recognize Nobu on sight? ^^;

I'd also been writing the post while you made yours.
@13org: Just having magic circuits is enough to perform the ritual. Ryuunosuke could do it.
@KoL: She's also stated to have great compatibility with Arturia, and Cu was already summoned.
Nanako is valiantly attempting to prevent indecent exposure laws from being violated.

Meanwhile, Beni is about to help a fluffy bookloli...

... And hmm what to do with Arturia. No Master yet hmmm...
Catalysts specify a Servant(and in the case of Assassin for a traditional Holy Grail War can overwrite the Class being a catalyst for Hassans), but if you don't have a Catalyst you'll get a good match for your personality.

For example, if Rin had pulled off her summoning perfectly and there weren't certain other circumstances in play she likely would have gotten Arturia because they synch up incredibly well.
Kobayashi Seria

Given her Servant's nature, the rather explosive reaction made plenty of sense. It only made sense for Mordred herself to find amusement in the fact that one of the Knights of the Round Table, especially one of the notably powerful ones, had fallen on his face in battle. Still, Seria had followed the battles somewhat, and it was a surprise that Gawain had been taken out. To be honest, Mordred's laughter was almost contagious. Almost. Seria found herself smiling a little bit, at least. Taking the opportunity to think about anything but the letter from her parents, the short girl decided to pursue that line of thought.

"My guess is that Sigurd likely stalled until Numeral of the Saint couldn't function any longer, and Gawain's Master was too arrogant to think that was a possibility," she commented. Indeed, she was proud of herself, and of her Servant, but Seria most certainly wasn't an idiot who would allow something careless like that to happen. Just getting by on brute force, no matter how strong your Servant was, wasn't a possibility. When you were up against opponents out of legend, you had to keep that in mind, "Certainly, if we had been in the fight, it... would... have..."

The petite girl trailed off. For some reason the boy that had been in front of them had turned towards Mordred and herself, looking expectant. For a moment she didn't exactly understand what was going on, until she realized that Mordred's outburst had sprayed his bag and pants with soda.

Seria sighed heavily.

"Saber, it looks like he wants an apology," she said, "And I guess it's hard to deny him one, after you sprayed him with soda like a fire hose."

Mihama Nanako

BB...? Who was BB?

Nanako was barely given time to try and contemplate that name, or initials, or whatever it was, before her Servant proceeded to attempt to leave the complex as she was.

Was... was her butt even covered properly?!

Nanako followed as quickly as she could, only to realize there was another casualty of her Servant's unusual prosthetic legs. That was, the floor of her kitchen, living room, and hallway. Less so the further that Melt walked, but the fact was that she was still leaving a trail of dents as she walked. The floor of Nanako's kitchen, on the other hand, had been mutilated in a violent fashion, stabbed several times by the sharp spikes on the bottom of the Alter Ego's metal feet. Speaking of which, those legs... they seemed somehow dangerous. Nanako wasn't sure how though... but something about them...

"Melt-san!" she called to her Servant. At least the purple-haired girl wasn't completely running off without her, but at the same time it seemed as she she was only barely waiting.

"Hold on! Er..." she paused for a moment," It's not that your outfit is... er..."

She trailed off. How did describe that outfit? The jacket was actually pretty fashionable and cool, but... covering up your most private place with a metal plate...

"... Your outfit isn't bad, but... actually, do indecent exposure laws even apply to Servants?" she questioned, suddenly uncertain, "Er, it's just that I think everyone might stare..."

Aaah, she had a feeling that Melt wasn't going to agree to wearing her spare outfits, but even if the Servant didn't care about being seen like that it was possible law enforcement would. Certainly, they'd turn a blind eye to Servants in battle if something like that happened. But just walking around casually like this...

As she approached the elevator, Nanako turned towards her Servant again after calling it to their floor. Certainly, Melt seemed fine walking on her prosthetics, but potentially damaging the stairway just didn't seem like a good idea.

"If you don't want to wear my clothes, there's a shop not too far away, so maybe we could go there instead?" she offered. Certainly she wanted to start a good relationship with her Servant(even if Melt definitely had an attitude), but she also didn't want her to walk around just barely covered up. "I should be fine buying anything you want!"

Hopefully that would work. It was a pretty good offer, wasn't it?

@1Charak2: PKMN isn't even awake right now and it's after 3:00 in the morning, we'll take a serious look tomorrow. ^^;
Saber - Benienma

"That sounds like an excellent plan, Master!" declared the petite little redheaded girl with a smile. Indeed, nutrition was important, and Benienma had already planned ahead. As a Servant, she didn't require food(although she did enjoy it, and it helped replenish her mana supply without taxing her Master further). Making certain that her Master was not hungry before beginning a patrol was simply another one of the duties she had as a Servant. "As it happens, I have already prepared a bento box for you dechi."

She patted her bag as she spoke. She'd spent the morning preparing them. It wasn't the most varied meal, but it was both delicious and nutritious, and Benienma had put everything she had into ensuring its quality. No-one could say she had done anything less then the absolute best! The hell oni was certain of this.

"I prepared for you a plethora of onigiri dechi," continued Benienma, proudly, "Each one has a different filling, so I would like to refer to it as Benienma's Onigiri Sampler Bento dechi."

Mihama Nanako

Monster...? Even if her Servant had said some kind of scary things, she definitely didn't seem to be a monster. There was no way that Nanako could consider her Servant to be a monster. Hopefully she would stop saying things that were quite so frightening, though. As Meltryllis headed over to the living room and sat on the couch, the brunette followed. and sat across from her.

"I'm sorry for assuming you were confused, Alter E... Meruto... um... is there anything you'd prefer to be called?" asked Nanako, scratching the back of her head with a light, awkward chuckle. Now that she had summoned her Servant, not only was she experiencing something entirely new, but Meltryllis certainly wasn't any hero out of history. Something strange was going on, but regardless of that she wanted to try and get to know her Servant. "But um, anyway, it's Spring Vacation, 2019!"

Nanako smiled at her Servant, this time completely avoiding staring at her crotch plate. It helped that she was sitting down now.

"Hmm, I thought Servants got a bit more information on what was going on..." she paused for a moment. Was she mistaken? It was the only time she'd ever managed to do this successfully... then again, that was how it was for anyone om Fusang, wasn't it? You usually didn't get a do over. "This is Fusang. It's an artificial island in the pacific ocean. I don't know all the details, but what matters is that this is a place where almost anyone can summon a Servant. Even someone like me!"

Meltryllis was a lot easier to talk to when she was sitting down. In fact, now... her Servant seemed like she was shorter then Nanako herself when they were sitting. But her legs took up a lot of room... and looked kind of dangerous. Were they Meltryllis's weapon?

"I guess if I had to describe Fusang, it's... kind of like a high-tech wonderland! But it's magical, too... honestly, it's kind of hard to believe somewhere like this exists, but here we are!" Nanako continued, brightly, "Um... I think some of my clothes will fit you well enough for now, so if you wanted to look around, I could give you a tour!"

Any subtle insults that might have been lobbed Nanako's way were lost in the girl's excitement. She had also failed to notice just how badly her kitchen floor had been mutilated.
