@Lucius Cypher: Let me see what you come up with? Though as I mentioned to another potential player, since the cast size is small I think it's best to increase variety, and thus I'd consider making him something other then a nem.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

@Zoey Boey: While I certainly don't dislike this character, I think it might be for the best if you swapped to the paladin idea entirely. Not only did I only approve of @Raineh Daze's second character as she is basically required for the first to function, but I think a paladin would help maximize cast variety and combat roles.

If one of his parents wasn't a Nem, he'd be half-Nem. This is possible, but can be risky for the mother due to potential birth complications.
Backstory-wise, I have to point out that merchants wouldn't be in charge of noble ransoms, and that, as laid out in the OP, open slavery is aggressively hunted down by the Church(and is illegal in the nations we'll be primarily focusing on) and thus would be more of an underground secret kind of thing.

I'm afraid I need your assistance on some matters," the petite black-haired girl continued, "Firstly, I would like to speak with Lazhira, so if you know where she is that would be excellent. Secondly... I must know whatever information you have about the God of Knowledge."
