@Guardian Angel Haruki @Digizel Anything you guys want your characters to respond before I write Rudrick's response?
@XxFellsingxX

And so the plotting commences!

I rolled a 9 to study Rudrick, how could Skobeloff get Rudrick to elaborate further on the subject of Garrock?

Unlike a lot of times where you have asked "How do I get so-and-so to tell me what's going on", this one is super simple for me to answer, given what Skobeloff already knows and that, well, this is Rudrick.

Rudrick just mentioned that if Garrock hasn't mentioned him, he hasn't mentioned any other family member... except Skobeloff already knew about three from talking with Garrock earlier: Sunglow, Kurkar and Topaz.

And he knows that Sunglow is probably very old, old enough that Garrock states she probably doesn't have much longer before she ascends. He also was told that Sunglow is in Semscale, the same House Rudrick is in.

So yeah... mention Sunglow, basically xD
Heliotrope paused in examining her patients to look over at Fellwing. "Oh, it's quite alright," she said. "It's refreshing to find drakes interested in my work." She gave a small, somewhat dry chuckle at the Seer's suggestion that she try and get a nap in. "Well, if the Moons allow it." However, she did seem appreciative of the concern, and a slight smile remained on her face for a little while after.

Kyte looked a little alarmed when Fellwing addressed them, as if they had been so caught up in their worries they forgotten about most everything else in the room. Tamba coming over to comfort them seem to have brought their attention back slightly, but they still unfocused. They nodded awkwardly in response to the black drake's words. "I'll, err. talk to her when she gets back," the winged drake muttered.

Garrock turned his head towards Fellwing in slow, deliberate fashion. "Your first impression of my sibling was him trying to tackle me while I was carrying an injured dragon," he said. "I don't know, Kebros, does that seem like the actions of a responsible adult to you?" His tone was nowhere near as acidic as it had been when they'd been on the island, more flat and monotone as if the reasons for his annoyance towards Rudrick should have been obvious to everyone.

There was a pause at Skobeloff's question, as if Rudrick was genuinely considering how much he should say. "Just family matters, really," he said. "If Garrock hasn't mentioned me, I doubt he's really spoken of family at all. He's not really close to any of us these days." He gives a little shake of his head. "Believe it or not it wasn't always like that. He wasn't always like that but..." He opens his mouth as if to elaborate, but all that comes out is a deep, weary sigh, as if he doesn't quite have the words for what he wants to say. After a moment of just letting that sigh hang in the air, he draws himself back up to his full height and turns his head back to drakes. "But never mind about all that."

He listened to Shieldwing's response and managed a chuckle at his observations on Garrock. "Yes, that sounds about right," he said. "Patience never was a virtue of his."
Jill Brookes

Location: Abandoned Stellar Toy Co. Factory Mentions: @Savo @Rune_Alchemist @Vertigo

Jill let out a small sigh of relief when she succeeded in catching the Magnemite. However, instead of running to collect her newly captured Pokemon, she instead went over to Aster, who was on her hands and knees on the floor and ever so often would shake herself, as if trying to shake the static away. It didn't seem to be helping.

"Hey, hey, hey, you're okay!" Jill said, getting on her knees beside her partner. She attempted to embrace the Aipom, only to pull away when making contact caused her to take a small shock. "Ow!" she exclaimed, rubbing her arm. It didn't hurt much, but it had certainly startled. Once she'd recovered from that small fright, she looked back at Aster, who sluggishly attempting to rise to her feet. "I... don't know what to about this."

She didn't have much time to worry about that, however, as Yuu and Jojo approached her, Yuu addressing in a gruff manner, which... she was starting to feel was probably his default. He did hand her a potion, though, advising her to heal her new Magnemite, who Jojo promptly handed to her. She took both these objects from him and nodded. "Okay... thank you." He also mentioned they had to find a paralyze heal, which if Jill recalled correctly was a type of medicine for Pokemon. She had no idea what those looked like but she'd keep an eye out for them anyway.

She turned her attention back to the Pokeball into her hand, taking a moment to look at it as if in awe... and with, perhaps, some apprehension. She'd never battled and then caught a Pokemon before, and she had no idea how the Magnemite, who had previously been an enemy, would react to being a new team member.

Well, she wouldn't know until she tried.

She stood up and took a few steps away from Aster and the other trainers, not wanting the Magnemite to lash out at them if they were still angry. With a deep breath, she opened the ball and released the magnet Pokemon.

In a flash of light, it was now floating a foot or so away from her, and for a moment stared at her, a little stunned. Jill tucked the pokeball back into her pocket before awkwardly waving at her new teammate. "Hi," she said after a moment. "Err, I'm Jill... nice to meet you. Please don't zap me." She held out the potion. "I'm going to heal you now if that's okay."

The magnemite just kind of stared at her for a moment, but didn't make any hostile movement, so Jill assumed it was okay with this. She quickly started applying the potion.
Post altered. Hope that's alright now.
No worries. All good! ^_^

I did not mention what the building was in my previous post. I was thinking of bringing it up in my next DM post. ^^"

For now, it is a clear obstacle in the chase. XD

Do I have enter the building to get to the balloon or can I go around it?

That's hilarious.

Also, I should quickly mention: Jub and Brutrumukk are already at the end of the bridge at this official start of the chase. ^^" Where does he go?

... oh shit sorry, err, I'll fix that in a moment.

Just to clear things up: there seems to be like... some kind of building on D4, which is between us and the balloon. Did you mention what that was before and I just missed that?
Jub, pretending to Brutrumukk: Oh no, Jub, murder is fine, but setting fire to a RANDOM BRIDGE is WHERE I APPARENTLY DRAW THE LINE!
Brutrumukk: ... Okay, one, I don't sound like that and two, LISTEN HERE, YOU LITTLE SHIT-
Jub the Peculiar

Jub looked first surprised then extremely irritated when Brutrumukk disrupted his spell. After waving the minimized gnome off with his free hand, the goblin practically snarled, "Fine, fine! But don't come crying to me if we get caught because someone suddenly decided that arson was unacceptable!" He paused for a moment to look at his surroundings, focusing on the balloon the scarecrow has pointed out to him for before noticing the large - and somewhat derelict - building in between them. He quickly started to make his way around it.

I'll wait for at least one more person to respond.

Also, Vertigo, I hope you're prepared for the amount of sass Garrock is about to throw at you for daring to ask about his family.
