@ZarkunI resent that, Argus wasn't trying to kill her, he's just never had any formal training on using his magic, nor any reason not to put his full power in a fight. Thus, it's very hard for him to really hold back, especially when he's pissed off(as he was at that moment due to his talk with Gaberial and the series of events that had happened prior, which Marlene merely added to).
I might have missed a word or two, I apologize for that. I meant to say as good as or something similar.
