Err....my two cents, thats sounds rather...powerful. Basicaly, however limited, he has the power of a god. Plus, he seems, conceptually, VERY similar to Ferrin, being able to combine magic, recharge quickly, highly sensitive to magic, blocking, and nullifying ect.

Some overlap is expected, but thats a little more than some.

Again, just my two cents worth, it is more for @Caits, @Zarkun, and @Expolar to consider.

I have already considered this, but you have to remember that there's bound to be, eventually, more than just "a little" overlap. Zephyr has the God Takeover as well but you didn't complain then and he has the power of a god in that form as well. I have given it my OK because like it or not, overlap is going to happen and it won't always be at a level you want. Such is life.

Jack nodded to Jackie as the hotel owner came up to see who the responsible person was for the damage caused to his business. Upon hearing Jamie, Jack sighed. "And, over time, we will get to know Frenzy Plant, but right now? There is not much love between guilds, especially yours and theirs after Damian's win on day one. For now, how about while we get the girls some ice cream, the adults get some cake or pie?" After saying this, he had a hushed conversation with the owner in which he paid for the damages and then watched as two of the hotel workers carried the unconscious mirror user to a cellar. He then turned to Jackie. "While I'd rather you continue resting, I get the feeling you're going to leave anyways, so do you want to come with us?"

James listened to Cody as he spoke, thanking the waiter for his orange juice and sipping on it. When the young man seemed to stop talking to consider what Slayer meant, James chuckled. "Cody, the term Slayer is familiar because of the God and Phoenix Slayers in our guild, Nolan and Penny respectively. If these two seem to have a beef with Slayer magic in general, then we may want to warn our guild mates and the slayers in Dragon Fang. But them saving you? That simply means that, just maybe, there is some shred of decency left in the pair, though I wouldn't put too much hope on it."

He paused to think about what reason they'd have to kill himself and Cody, going over the reasons. The most obvious was that they hated leaving witnesses, people who might ID them and report their activities to the Magic Council. However, there sounded like there was an ulterior reason behind their death threat, which he'd think on more later. "Again, perhaps they didn't want to leave witnesses and our guild likely made enemies of them when we brought down the old Magic Council, the corrupt people they were. Well, most of them anyways."
