Current Sometimes you spend so long looking for peace in someone else, you loose sight of that peace you can give yourself. Don't forget that guys.

@ZarkunWell, I do have a question? Would James try to save Jackson, or kill him because he's too much if a danger too risk possibly saving one innocent.

That is a question that I'm not sure I could accurately answer until he was placed in the situa-...You're about to do something evil, aren't you?
Or don't catch my not so subtle hint that we should all talk. That works too.

Another song that gave me a spurt of animated sequence inspiration that I can't ever animate myself. @CaitsI could see Penny listening to this for...reasons.
Ah. Well, I'm just saying in case it all disappears again here on the guild site.
I'm sorry for not fully completing the post just don't have much of a spark to write stuff right now especially since it's a long part of Paul's story and I've done it before only to have it ripped out of existence during Guild Fall.

Type it up in google docs or another word processor. That should keep it from disappearing.
James Hunt|Crocus City Park

James heard the sound of rushing water as the tendril swung and he braced himself behind his shield, waiting for the blow. However, instead it came down like rain. He lowered his shield and found Amelia and a water spirit of some kind between himself and Manami, questioning her attack on the group. James stepped forwards, next to Amelia, and placed his shield on his back, resting a hand on her shoulder. "She's not in a mind state to answer, Miss Amelia. Some of the things I've said seem to have some rather...adverse consequences. I am attempting to free her of the lies she was told by a rather evil man, for all the good it's done. I'll do what I can to help however." He removed his hand and removed his shield from his back, taking his ready stance. "Answer her, Manami. There's no harm in it, but harm her, and I will return it to you."
@Zarkun mind if I sneak a post in?

Let me C&P what I just posted to a different doc and edit it out and yeah. Sorry, though Phleg would be getting a kick out of things.

James Hunt|Crocus City Park

At that instant, as Manami charged with blades made of razor sharp water upon her arms, that time seemed to slow down to the paladin. All around him, the sounds of the other fighting a battle echoed, but his own battle, the one in front of him, was what mattered. He saw the weakness in her stance, and the opening in her guard, and took it, expertly using his shield to knock her left arm up while the sword's pommel knocked the right arm down, opening her guard up completely and knocking the woman off balance. And then there was blood splattering along the ground behind Manami as his sword found it's way into her gut. They stood in silence for a moment, the pain from the sudden blow likely disrupting all her attempts at controlling her water in that moment.

And then he spoke, an icy calmness in the paladin's voice that concealed rage even Manami couldn't hope to match. "The Lord would NEVER endorse the senseless murder of so many to bring His angel into this world, in any form. As it stands, the Embodiment of Gabriel would be BORN with their power, not given their magic through a blood ritual costing the lives of innocents. Remember all the things you said your Priest was, who was a man anointed by man, to serve man's interests. A murderer, a liar, all things the Lord condemns as evil." He pulls the blade free, letting Manami's weight work against her. "By sin was your power given, but by righteousness will you be judged." He backed away, but he did not let down his guard. Only a fool thought that a wounded wielder of any kind of Holy magic was down from a blow like that.
Damian Gerard|Belka Graveyard

Damian watched the young man and frowned. But he didn't say anything at first and started to turn back to Eliza when the lightning flashed and revealed his face. Burns? But only two people we know of in all of the town should have burns. And one of them's... Something clicked in the mind of the Blade, but he didn't voice it, instead motioning Eliza and Ni to step out of earshot of the young man. Once they were clear, he still spoke quietly just in case. "Did either of you see his face just now, when the lightning flashed? It's covered in burns. Now who would have burns this recently?" The crows cawing off in the distance put Damian's every instinct on edge, and a creeping sense of dread wouldn't let him be. They needed to finish what they were doing here fast and return to Sanders.
