Henry isn't really required to lose all of the fights he get into. Things are far more leveled between all factions now, so I guess that he can stop being that much of a doormat (not that I think that he ever was). I just think that it's an issue of finding a balance that gets entertaining for both parties.

Above all else, I think that he needs more skill/tactics, since he has more than enough hall power already. 9/10 it's his own hot head that jeopardizes his chances of victory. At least this is how I see it, looking at the big picture of the war.

Henry's problem is despite all he has he doesn't have meaning to his life. What little meaning he has is pointless as he gets thrashed by every opponent he faces. Sure he has money and castles and endless weapons, but it all feels empty to him. What do his actions change? What does he fight for besides a paycheck and the hope that maybe his boss will like him for the month that she's around before she's overthrown. He doesn't fight for his friends, he views most of the demons as either stupid, aggravating, or he's just plain indifferent to them. He doesn't really fight for money as he can now just create anything he wants with Silver Eye bullshit. Fighting is cool and all, it's a lot of fun sometimes even. Hell, if he was winning than he probably wouldn't even be going through this existential crisis. But he's not, he's a titan fighting in an arena of Gods. So he wonders why.

I completely agree with you, Henry does need more tactics and needs to think situations over before he runs in with his sword. It's a part of his character growth. I was in no way complaining, just explaining his character motivations.

Alright boys, the Frog is going in. He has no idea what the fuckity shit is going to happen, but he's already near insane so it's okay.

It's also likely only the Frog is going into this dungeon. If I'm dropping anyone else in, it'd probably be Abigail, but that's a long shot considering I can develop her story with Bonesword in her/him retelling shit.

@floodtalon@Lucius Cypher
Bonesword would appreciate other demon Machina, if that sways any opinions.

Bring Eve if not Abigail, I may or may not have a stupid idea that involves them seeing way too deep into each other.

On a related note, I need a good reason for Sliske to be there.

the longer the characters traverse to the Oblivion Prison, the more their minds shall suffer degradation, progressively losing their memories until all of their sense of self is lost.

Hang on. *Looks at Wolf's character sheet.* "Immune to metal attacks of any kind."

Guys I broke the game again.

Yeah, I guess that he's one that can go there and ruin Helena's party without any problems. Maybe this would be a good chance to show his worth to Eos.

Wait so in a sense of losing themselves I'm a little confused. Are we saying they revert to a primal state, they become their polar opposite, or they get lost in their own mind trying to figure out what they really stand for?

If you want the two strongest harpies to go absolutely fucking bonkers, I'll join you. It'd be fun to see how Syphax reacts to Eve's life of being a wanted criminal and evading multiple demons, eventually falling victim to those demons and being raped / tortured until her mind nearly breaks.

Such a thing is supposed to change based on each character. Diana for example, will face her ancient memories and her inner self, just take a look at @thewizardguy's post for a good example of what we meant to happen to those inside of the dungeon.

Such a shame that she has decided that she's utterly useless, right? What a real, real shame.

@KoL I will be genuinely astonished if, after Miyu uses her power, it doesn't fail/get dispelled/be overridden by higher tier power/excetera. Because that has literally never not happened.

As long as she doesn't try to counter things that are out of her league that has no reason to happen.

Things Miyu's powers have had all the effectiveness of tissue power against:
Henry, instantly cut through her defenses.
Juno, instantly cut through her defenses.
Ni-Mu, cut through her defenses in a few moments, and then in the next battle showed that her sword powers had been multiplied several times over and on top of that gained Juno's attack powers, so that they would henceforth instantly cut through her defenses.
Star Energy, is not affected by her powers.

One can see why she might start to get discouraged with her powers doing anything, when in four battles in a row, her powers do nothing.

Unless Helena happens to be weaker than Pre-Silver Eyes Henry/Pre-Eos-Buff Ni-Mu, I look forward to doing nothing, yet again.

By all accounts as you've listed, Miyu has failed because she's trying to guard against people whose traits are overwhelming offense. You're using Rock when they have Scissors, and what you really need is to dodge or parry in those circumstances.

@Lonewolf685 Every one of those people can also move faster than Miyu's eyes can follow. And have stronger defenses. And have utility powers. And their weapons can cut straight through Miyus.
