Daniel? An entity for fear? Interesting choice.

He is literally the devil.

I took pause here.

As far as Cap and the Lantern rings go, @Master Bruce got it in one. He might've made a fine Blue back in the forties, but that hopefulness has long since burned away and left a man getting by on raw willpower and determination.

I can't get behind anyone as J.J.J who isn't J.K Simmons (The best J.Jonah since the Sam Raimi movies was Cave Johnson in Portal 2. Try and convince me otherwise).

That said I loved that J.K voiced J.J.J on the Ultimate series.

And that is that for the Gwen-Johnny tête-à-tête.

Somehow I suspect Spider-Woman and the Fantastic Four's paths will cross again in the not-so distant future. New York is a pretty small place, after all.

That's a relief. I'm going to the city for the first time next month and I was worried I'd get lost.

So thankful for that little Jack Russell/Werewolf glimpse at the start so we didn't have the hard gear-shift from the "Awwwww" feels of Johnny Storm and Spider-Woman to the pure douchebaggery of the Profile and the Committee...

Of the vast collection of television shows, movies, and other live-action representations of our favourite comic book characters, who is your definitive, and if not definitive, favourite or preferable representation of that character.

For example, my definitive Lex Luthor is Michael Rosenbaum.

So how about you guys? Who is your Batman/Superman etc?

Well, the Raimi trilogy gave us not just the definitive J. Jonah Jameson, as stated above, but also the definitive Aunt May in the form of Rosemary Harris. (And Cliff Robertson's Uncle Ben, for that matter.)

Josh Keaton's voice just is Spider-Man to me now.

I agree with both Triple J and Aunt May but I think I enjoyed Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben more.

Likewise, I enjoy Michael Clarke Duncan's Kingpin more than I do Vincent D'Onofrio.

Batman for me, I guess it's got to be Christian Bale (I am not including voice performances), but I do like the way Affleck's fights more so than any of his predecessors. Alfred is also a tough choice because I can't really think of a bad live-action version, Gough, Caine, Pertwee and Irons all have their merits. Though for all the things I could say poor of Gotham, I really do like Sean Pertwee's Alfred.

Superman is tough because I really want to give it to Welling but I think I'm going to give it to Reeves if only because by Welling's own admission, he never played Superman, he played Clark Kent for ten years.

Lois though is fully going to Erica Durance which I realize might be a less popular choice in this crowd.

I had a lot of fun with this. I like when two characters get together and just talk. Something hat can hopefully happen more in future seasons.

Now onto my next team up haha
