Tomoe definitly got Acion his attention. Tomoe sneakily sneered as she displayed the masterpiece to Acion. He took it as if god had blessed him. Secret pervert? He did not appear like one at all given his attitude and cool behaviour but apparently boys would just be boys. Acion even asked to see it for a second longer. Tomoe sneered as she pushed the flip phone into his hand.

"Of course A-chan!"

Tomoe gleefully snikered as Hitomi had taken notice of the picture as well. Cute~ Tomoe simply watched as Hitomi took the phone from Acion his hand and looked at it with her own eyes. Her blush was definitly three waifu points. Hitomi deeply exclaimed that Tomoe should delete the picture right now. Tomoe shockingly looked up at her as she felt heart broken for even hearing this about her masterpiece picture.

"What!? I can't delete this picture! It is the only one I have from you. I will feel deeply hurt to delete such a nice picture."

Tomoe looked genuinly sad about having to delete her picture but it could have been very good acting as well. Just when they were done talking a loud slap sounded from one of the group members. Tomoe quickly snapped her head towards Acion as she could quickly notice that he just got slapped. Tomoe immediatly opened her mouth without even realising what really happened.

"Hi-chan! Don't just sla-... Oh."

Tomoe glanced over towards Hitomi but she seemed just as surprised. She didn't slap him? Acion slapped himself. Tomoe gaped a little at Acion. How did he just fix this!? Tomoe would look bad compared to Acion now. Tomoe quickly took her phone back and swiftly deleted the photo. She showed the delete message towards Hitomi with a somewhat annoyed pout on her face.

"Here, see. Deleted it."

Tomoe mumbled something under her breath as she turned away somewhat glancing over towards Acion as he went on with another story. Something about him and his sister. Appeared somewhat troubling. Tomoe concernedly turned towards him as she put a hand on his arm.

"Are you alright?"

Jett looked to Haruka as she stared back at him, putting her foot down that she was coming with them no matter what with just her eyes… commenting on his lack of quirk and that he shouldn’t go alone. While he appreciated the sentiment it also felt like a dis to his lack of ability to protect himself as well. He shook the thought from his head. He knew she would never mean it like that.

Kenichi also mentioned coming along, despite being injured himself as well. He sighed and nodded his head as Fumika ran off to get her sister. He wondered who she was partially worried for...or was it just that their classmates were in the hospital.

He waited by Haruka while Fumi was gone, Texting his father for more information, which he did, explaining only vaguely that Takeshi seemed to be in the worst shape, but stable. Reina and Roy were next in bad shape but will make a full recovery, Kaida received burns of some kind all over her hands...and Michiko was just mentally exhausted. That they barely survived an attack from a group of men who were chased off by the pros that showed up. He also found out their room numbers and that his mother was also there visiting Yukari who was also hurt somehow as well by a different villain.

Once Fumika came back, he noticed her sister walking behind her, he could instantly see her litte sister, as she looked too familiar to Fumika. But he was surprised to see Mina and Ruby in tow as well. He had not spoke to Ruby at all really, he was still slightly embarrassed by what happened in the last exercise. He did of course apologize afterwards when he had a chance, in the classroom but he decided to not talk to her for a bit till it wasn’t so fresh in his mind. He nodded to the new group and updated them on what little info he did received then he turned towards the main gate, walking next to Haruka incase she needed to grab onto him. But he didn’t offer his arm obviously, he didn’t want her to think he was making it obvious that he was offering to help, knowing how independant she was.

Luckily, there was a bus that was stopping as they were leaving, which would take them to the hospital, there wasn’t much chatting… as the news of so many of their friends hurt kinda ruined the mood...along with other reasons to be sure, soon they were at the hospital, in the lobby. Checking his phone again, he told the others where Takeshi’s and roy’s room where and the girls room as well, his last info was that Reina, Michiko and Kaida were there resting.
”So..who do you guys wanna see first?” He asked, looking to everyone. Perhaps they would split up or want to stick together. He was fine with either. He glanced at Mina again, once again surprised she actually came. He didn’t think she was close friends with anyone there. Same with Ruby...perhaps reina is one of their roomates? He didn't’ know obviously

"How many puns about limbs is "too many"?"
Toru Ayanokoji

@Experiment 249 @Lucius Cypher@Silver Carrot

While it would be incorrect to say that Toru's life was dictated by his adherence to a heroic code of sorts, he did have to admit their suggestions were starting to sound rather dubious, coming from students of this particular academy. Make no mistake, Ayanokoji Toru desired little else than to take part in a good, fun prank, but if it had him and others possibly questioning what kind of people they were, then it was brighter to take a step back and think about things.

Unfortunate as it was, his allies did not seem to be capable pranksters. Lysandre... well, despite trying to be a leader, just did not have a good plan, but maybe that was better than his disarmed companion, who quite honestly could've chosen a more heroic way to word that particular suggestion. Toru thought it'd lie solely upon his genius to get them through this trial, but with the sudden appearance of some girl, that might not have been necessary.

"Oh?" Toru raised his eyebrow at her claim about them not being fit for the job. It wasn't like he disagreed with her in regards to the other two, but he had his own reputation to protect! It was offensive to him to say he wasn't good at screwing with people. But if this girl could entertain him, he'd certainly forgive her. Ignoring the pointless remark she made about being the best wire user in the school and focusing on the REAL important subject, he spoke up. "Anybody can make an observation, ya know. Care to throw some fuel in this creative fire? We could use a hand... or, well, two."

Roy Kusayanagi

Roy’s eyes opened wide as Takeshi made explained the situation to him. To be honest if they hadn’t gotten attacked by his family earlier he wouldn’t have believed anything he said. The boy clenched his bed sheets tightly, it all made sense though, it was the reason he was able to keep up with the villains.

The blondes heart began beating faster and he felt a lump build up in his throat as he thought about the situation more. That means Takeshi must know why the shadow clan spared him and Kaida. Roy placed his feet back onto the cold floor of the hospital room and made an attempt to stand on too feet. The boy shakedly got out of his bed, his knees seemed as though they were ready to give out. He looked back at Takeshi, it was easy to see in his eyes that the boy was a mixed bag of emotions right now.

“...I-I...”

It was hard to speak at the moment, his voice has swelled up with emotion as he tried to speak. He had to get it together, he was so close to gathering the answers he’s been searching for his whole life. He opened his mouth again and tried once more.

“Michiko is in Kaidas room, she was sleeping earlier when I checked.”

He had to asked Takeshi now, while he still had the chance. “Takeshi...do you know why they spared me and what they wanted to kidnap Kaida for? There was a this guy with a horrifying aura around him, his presence was enough to make the man with the dog mask nervous. When he tried to take Kaida away, I tried to hit him with everything I had but he completely crushed me. He told me something before leaving me on the floor to fall unconscious due to my injuries...he said he’d been watching me and Kaida ever since we had been born and that he’d spare me partially out of respect for my father.”

Roy took a few steps closer towards Takeshi, “I never knew my father nor seen him, I have no clue what kind of person he is, but after today...I know he is not a man of pure heart. If he was then he wouldn’t be someone respected by a clan of assassins...I want to know if you know who my father is?” Roy managed to push the lump in his throat out of the way as he asked this important question before they make their way over to Michiko.

Acion Nakamiji

"I'm fine Kishimoto-san." Acion replied, as he held onto Tomoe's arm in reassurance, before he brush it off. "But yeah, we should head inside for now. I don't know the scope of all this, but it's best that you stay informed."

With that said, he led the way back into the school building. After settling in for an empty classroom, the winged man finally sat down on a seat nearby, his wings stiffened but neatly wrapping around his body and the tables around him.

So about the topic in context. When dealing with mysterious assassin clans like this, Acion'd say the best option is to keep distance, radio silence, do not communicate the idea to anyone else. But this was his class to begin with. Who knows if any of his friends right here have some sort of connection with these sort of underground gangsters. They might even be the next target. And if these guys make it into the school...he wouldn't want to imagine what would happen.

"So for the record, my sister and I are totally fine. She's already returned to her place right now." Acion began. But now was the time he had to pick words carefully, knowing these girls easily worries over people, which he did not hate - but in fact appreciate it. "The case that we were in is a group of assassins. We, along with some of our classmates and my sister's hero group, clashed with them. Suffice to say, they were pushed back for now. But some of our classmates were injured during the whole fight. They are currently in the hospital."

The euphemism was a little strong here. In truth, all the students were in hospital right now, except for one. Who else.

Despite of what Roy had already told him, and repeated for like the umpteenth time already, the shame of running away midst battle still plagued the trainee's mind. But he simply brushed this off this moment. Lamenting would not bring anyone anywhere.

"They are fine now. I just came back from it. No one's in critical condition as far as I know."

Kasuke Mina

The group had become quite large when Fumika, Asuka and Ruby met up with Jett, Haruka and Kenichi. Mina followed, but hung around near the back. She didn't want to get roped into a conversation. Luckily the group were rather quiet and serious as they journeyed to the hospital by bus. Mina could appreciate why. Their classmates were hurt. All sense of friend, enemy, acquaintance and annoyance no longer existed. They were Komei Academy class 1-A. Everybody who had been hurt was one of them. Getting to the hospital, the group gathered in the lobby, and Jett asked who everybody wanted to see first. Mina thought this was a wierd question, as they would all likely be visiting everyone.

"I say we visit them all one by one, starting from one side and working our way down," Mina suggested to Jett.

Regardless of the decision finally made, Mina followed the rest of them up to the second floor, where the first thing she saw was Donny, in the corridor, clearly struggling when he was just as clearly supposed to be in bed. "Excuse me," she spoke to the rest of the group, before splitting off from them and approaching Donny.

When she reached him, she stood in front of him with her hands against her hips, and a ticked-off, icy stare. In short, classic Mina. "Donny, why aren't you in bed? You're supposed to be resting!"

@Aerandir@Feyblue@Melpaws@Zeroth@Lucius Cypher

Koizumi Seiko

"Is there any real need to get super creative?" Seiko asked, eyebrow raised. "Whipped cream on the palm, hand in warm water, even draw on his face! They're all better ideas than fighting Amane or making his pants fall down! Really, we want something that won't link to us, that we can watch unfold to our amusement and maybe even record, but we at least have the chance to get far away before he finds out it's us. I can't get real specific with planning until I find out everybody's quirks."

He gestured to Toru and Mamoru. "What are your quirks?"

@Experiment 249@FamishedPants@Lucius Cypher

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi followed Acion back into the school, and to the empty classroom, and listened to Action go into a little more detail. When she heard their classmates had been hospitalized, she gasped, and the color drained from her face as she clenched her fists where she sat. "This is serious," she spoke quietly, getting increasingly more agitated as she carried on. "Who are they and how bad are they hurt? I never imagined Assassins would attack us. We're...we're kids! Who attacks kids?! What did they do this for? What's the reason?! I..."

She trailed off as she stood up, her breathing turned to panting, and a wild look in her eye that would concern Acion and possibly even scare Tomoe. The sheep girl began to pace back and forth anxiously. "Don't mind me," she assured the other two, "I get testy when I'm angry or distressed, and right now I'm both. It's the ram in me."

Lucius Cypher Looking For Group

Mamoru just swung her arms back and forth as Lysander tried to think of some sort of prank to pull. That's when a newcomer arrived, some girl (At least that's how he looked like to Mamoru) calling herself Koizumi Seiko. Mamoru shook her body in her general direction as an improvised wave. "Hiya! I'm Mamoru. My quirk lets me make this shield," Mamoru manifested the shield right in front of her before catching it with her foot, kicking it into the air and catching it with her other foot. "It's indestructible! As for ideas for a prank, maybe subtle is better, yeah? Then we can ramp things up once we get more confident in our abilities! So maybe um..." Mamoru dismissed her shield to put her foot back down and sit on these thoughts. Thinking wasn't really her strong suit so it really took her sometime to figure something out, and what she decided to offer wasn't really that well thought out in the first place.

"Maybe... One of us could ask him to meet us somewhere... And than one of us confesses to him! But than we drop some water on his head. And make a pun about it?" That was about as good as Mamoru could think of. Everything else she said was just her spitballing ideas until something stuck. "Maybe earn his friendship and than destroy him with magic? Put something red in his white laundry so they come out pink? Put salt in his orange juice? Oh I know! Change his toothpaste with mustard! Oh oh oh! How about, before he goes to the toilet, we take those ketchup packets from the cafeteria, and then put them under the numbs on the toilet seat, so when he sits down they squirt to the back of his legs!" Pranks she pulled off when she was a child, not really anything complex or particularly impressive for their highschool age. Knowing that she was running out of good ideas she just sighed and stood back up.

"Honestly, why do we gotta prank Amane again? I mean he's a dick, no doubt about it, but I'd rather not spend the afternoon figuring out how to prank him. Technically I should be resting up, but now I'm bored and wanna go play some video games."

"Ka...Suke-san? What..." At some point during Donny's delusion he had gotten himself lost and didn't even remember why he was out of bed in the first place. "Hungry... I think. And..." The big boy rubbed his eyes as he tried to remember what he was doing and why he was walking around. The drugs in his system was still dulling his senses, putting him in and out of reality by the second. He would stand there for a good few seconds saying nothing and just rubbing his eyes before he answered. "Something about... Something. What was it..." Donny just turned around and kept walking, but then he remembered something with clarity. "Yozakura-san, she's here. She helped me... Need to see her. And... What are you doing here? For Yozakura too?" Donny asked as he kept walking forward. His movements were notably sluggish and not just because he was still tired; he hadn't formed a skeletal structure in his meat sack, so he was largely moving entirely through his inner mass shuffling forward instead of walking properly.

"Super hungry..."

Dulga Tarata

After a long train ride north Dulga finally arrived in Hokkaido. Even now it was cold, with a stiff breeze making Dulga wish she had worn thicker clothes. But it was also comfortable. It was familiar to her; she grew up around here so the cold never bothered her anyways. Besides she wouldn't be out for long. Shortly after her train ride Dulga walked into the city of Sapporo, and shortly after took another train for a short ride until she reached a rather high class area. Here where bright lights, shopping malls, fancy restaurants, old fashion and five star inns, the perfect destination for a classy and rich person. Top heroes in japan have recommended some of the local places around here for their hospitality and quality. But there was one place that stood on top, yet at the same time almost very little is heard. The Continental Hotel.

By all accounts the Continental is a fine place. Rich food, find decor, luxurious beds, and all the fine entertainment one may ever want at one's earliest convenience. They are a franchise that spanned the entire world, with hotels in ever major metropolis in nearly every nation from the USA to Russia, Egypt and Thailand, in major cities like Rome, New York, even Mecca. But being a hotel isn't the reason to their success. In truth, the Continental is a sanctuary, safe haven, and neutral ground for all sorts of vigilantes, criminals, and heroes alike. While not criminal in-and-of itself, they associate with criminals peacefully, serving them with the same level of respect and honor as they do with heroes. And of course, none of this could be easily proven even to the most dedicated of investigators; it's not unusual for a criminal under a guise to book a room, just as well it's a unfortunately regular occurrence for gung-ho heroes to break the Continental's rules of hospitality and start a fight because of "justice".

Of course the politics of the Continental were of no concern to Dulga. She didn't really care about how they operated as long as they did. And she needed to use their service. The girl walked through the front entrance where she was greeted by the doorman, nodding his head to her and calling her "Madam Tatara". This wasn't unusual; the doorman often knows everyone who comes and goes into the Continental, especially if they're guests. Dulga stopped and bowed her head to him.

"Good afternoon. Is the chauffeur here?"

"Of course. Shall I call him up?"

"Please do."

The doorman led Dulga to the receptionist and informed her of the request. There Dulga gave the receptionist some information about herself, including her name, age, and business. "Tatara Dulga, sixteen years old. I'm here to pick up a vehicle." Subtly she slid a single gold coin towards the receptionist, who just as subtly took the coin, added a bit of information to her request, and asked Dulga to take a seat while the chauffeur arrived. Dulga did as she was told and waited on one of the couches, watching people come and go. These people were not particularly unusual in their demeanor or appearance; you had people in business casual attire lounging around and conversing with each other, families with children off to their next attraction, weary and tired travelers looking for a warm meal and soft bed. Hard to believe that just about everyone here was either an assassin, mercenary, or vigilante. Even the children were likely here to unwind after a long stretch of grueling training and conditioning.

Soon a dark skinned man arrived and asked for Dulga by name. She stood up and followed him outside where her ride was; a old fashion motorcycle belonging to her father back when he was an apprentice. Despite it's age and not having a single original part since it was made, it still worked fine, drove fast, and could haul a cart through seven feet of snow up and down a mountain in the middle of winter on one tank of gas. If Dulga didn't know better she'd think this thing had a quirk where it just won't breakdown. And for better or for worse, it was hers now. Dulga's father gave to his wife, and she gave it to Dulga after she died. Dulga technically didn't have a license for it but that didn't mean she didn't know how to use it, and the Continental wasn't about to card her either. She took her keys from the chauffeur and handed him a gold coin. As he pocketed it he asked Dulga a question.

"Is there anything else you'll require?"

"Tutoring. I'm not doing so great in my classic literature courses."

"I'm afraid that is not one of our services we provide."

"Hmph. How unfortunate."

Loading up her belongings, Dulga put on her helmet and drove off. Now that she had her bike, she'll have to drive further into the wilderness of Hokkido to actually reach her home. Made Dulga almost teary just thinking about it. Almost.

”of course, I will” jean said as he watched her get up and pull out a diary. Smiling as she joked about attempting to act like she had plans. This only encouraged him more but she quickly placed the card for her number on the table, telling him to call and set up something.

He gave her a sharp single wave goodbye with a smile as she turned to leave before reaching down and picking the card up with two fingers, glancing at it for but a moment before smiling. Flicking the card against his finger on his other hand a few times before slipping it into his pocket on his chest.

”You going to actually ask this one out?” He heard from behind him.

Turning bright red he spun around and looked down to see a very short girl peering up at him with a raised eyebrow. ”...Or are you gonna chicken out again?”

Rubbing the back of his head he glanced over his shoulder to where Mako left. I don’t chicken out young lady, things just come up. Hopefully that's gonna slow down. he said, not sounding too sure of himself.

The girl narrowed her eyes. Riiiight….you said that two weeks ago. And what happened a few nights ago? she asked, knowing full well the answer to it.

His shoulders dropped “I know I know, But you know the promise I made to your mother.”

The girl nodded hugging a white bundle to her chest. “I know, and you always keep your promises I know.” She placed the bundle on the chair and moved up and straightened his tie which was out of wack, while he bent down and let her. A big smile on his face as he loved when she did it. “You should really go out with that lady… She looked at him for a moment then then moved to the stairs after picking up the bundle from the chair. She hesitated for a moment and said without looking back, "... She looks alot like mom..." she added, before bolting up the stairs. Leaving him in the waiting room.

Scratching the back of his head as reached up and gripped a necklace through his shirt. ” Yeah… she kinda does.” he said to himself softly. Before moving to his shirt pocket and flicking the card she left behind out, looking at it once more.

The girl continued up the stairs quickly, coming up behind a group of kids about her age. Two boys and three girls... She slid to a stop for a moment as they came to a stop talking to a larger boy who seemed disoriented... and he was moving...oddly... which kinda freaked her out. quickly looking away, she squeezed passed the blue haired boy, who would feel a quick little zap "Sorry, excuse me..." she would say in a mouse of a voice, blushing. Before bolting away more from embarrassment. Despite being weird with Blue hair... he was actually really cute. Along with the other boy...who looked familiar...but she knew she never met him before. She hurried off as they stopped for the bigger kid who was wandering around. Quickly going for the closest room.

Takeshi had noticed the sudden multitude of expressions. From surprise to fear, confusion, sadness even. He nodded his thanks when he said she was in Kaidas room resting, room he reached for his robe about to leave. He glanced at roy to see him trying to get up. Despite himself getting up once again, having lost much of his own blood, arm, and stabbed in the chest he was used to pushing himself, that and he was healed by that woman... But he was more impressed with Roy having gone up against Oni and still getting up. He saw his attempt within the shadows, that kind of blow he suffered once before from his eldest brother. He was out for a month.

Takeshi looked back to Roy when started to ask him some more questions. He hesitated for a moment, not sure if it was his place...or how Roy would react to this information. He decided to answer first about Kaida, They want Kaida… because she has a insanely powerful quirk, and they want to integrate it with their shadow quirk. Oni… the man with the aura… is my eldest brother. As such, he is to become the next head of the clan and meet my father's associates,

He thought long and hard if he should tell Roy who his father was..he never met him, but he knew his father and he were…’friends’ of sorts. More like mutually respected.

But as he was about to open his mouth, the door whipped open, slamming against the wall and a girl with brown hair holding a white bundle in her arms quickly shouted. Kadia?!?! Her eyes were wide when she realized there were two boys in the room, She blushed but it was quickly hidden as she raised the white bundle to her nose, so only her eyes could be seen. Clearing her throat, Um… sorry.. Do either of you know a white haired girl named Kaida?” She looked at the dark haired boy...noticing he was missing an arm. He didn’t look that old...nor did the blonde haired boy… yet they looked like they just came from a war zone…

Kinda shocked at this sudden interruption, yet grateful at the same time He nodded his head and said, Yes… but I dont know what room she’s in... He looked to Roy, knowing he knew, and waited for him to answer.

Roy Kusayanagi

Slowly but surely Roy began making the connection, it was as if he was finding the missing pieces to a puzzle but there was still some information left out. The blonde boy held a hand up to his chin as he began to fall into deep thought, he suspected Kaida's quirk to be some sort of reptillian transformation that granted increased strength. Similar to master Croc, so with the power house quirk pool that the Shadow clan possesses why would they want a quirk like that then? Sure it would reinforce their strength but is it really worth all that trouble? Perhaps there was more too it then he thought?

WAAM!!

The door flung open causing Roy to whip his head in the direction of their unnanounced visitor, would it kill them to knock? It seemed as though she was looking for Kaida but to her surprise she only found two boys. The girl quickly raised a white bundle to shield her face, most likely to hide her embarassment. The boy let out a deep sigh as he knew this conversation was going to have to be put on hold.

Roy looked back at Takeshi to see if maybe he knew this girl but they both shared the same clueless look, "Yeah, I know where Kaida is" The boy made his way over to his wheelchair situated infront of his bed before slowly descending into the seat like an old man before taking a deep breath. He rolled his wheelchair past the girl and into the hallway, looking both ways so he doesn't accidently run anybody over. As he looked right his eyes shot open with a surprised look, a few familiar faces as well as two new ones. Though out of all of them he couldn't seem to stop glaring at Jett, Roy abruptly turned his head in the other direction before wheeling off a bit aggressively an acting as though the guy didnt exist.

"You probably shouldn't slam open hospital doors anymore, if this really was Kaida's room then you might've invoked the wrath of her guard. Maybe you've seen him already, a tall barbarian, brown hair styled in a pretty dumb style, green suspenders, thinks he is the shit because he bullies kids that are a fourth of his age." The boy looked both ways to ensure that Sparks was nowhere to be found. Soon they reached Kaidas Room and Roy slowly opened the door, there wasn't much of a point in knocking since they were most likely asleep. The boy cracked the door open to see if the the coast was clear before opening it wide enough for the group to enter.

"Were you just checking to see if she was alright or did you have other business?" Roy said signaling towards the bundle in the girls hands.

As plans got underway for the group to make their trip to the hospital, Kenichi absently rubbed his side. He'd been moving and talking a lot, especially once he got excited about the shared interest in Kamen Rider with Fumika. And the whole game of chuunibyou with Haruka. Now his ribs were starting to throb again. And of course his hand stung where he had split the scabs.

As Fumika headed for the doors, the bluette watched her go with concern. Maybe it was just him, but it seemed as if the number of times he had seen her show any emotions at all were heavily tilted in the direction of distress. She had hugged him just moments ago, and he had seen her smile here and there. But the hair pulling, the blank face with downcast eyes, and of course the ever indicative ahoge lying flat or drooping low...Had she done more of that than anything else? Kenichi hoped it was just because this whole Hero School thing had turned into one fiasco after another. He hoped she was just responding to stress and a lot of unfortunate occurrences. Because if Motome Fumika was living with some deep sense of sadness all the time...

As the rest of them headed after her, his thoughts were broken by the re-appearances of Kasuke and Asuka, along with a girl he didn't recognize. Was she another new member of the 1-A class? Komei's roster was surprisingly unstable...or maybe, unlike what he'd heard about UA, the departments were highly mobile? Then, as his powerful nose caught a single small strand of something, he held up a hand in warning to the others before turning his head away from everyone.

"AH-CHOOOooh god my ribs."

So the cat ears and tail were real, then.

Once the blinding pain shooting through his side had once more dulled to an ever-constant reminder of misery, Kenichi managed to get back on his feet and speak again--though his usual loud voice was now ragged and low.

"So we're all--hack--decided that we're gonna go. Cough. But we still don't know what happened?"

With the group joined by new members, it was as good a time as any for reiteration. Jett did the honors, updating them on what little info he had received as they headed towards the main gate. Kenichi registered the memory that Jett said the text had come from his father. Did that mean Jett's dad worked at the hospital? How else would he be involved in something like this unless...maybe he was a Pro? After all, someone had rescued the students, right?

Rescuing them from what, or who, now that's my next question. Thought the bluette. So Jett's saying some group attacked them, and then Heroes resolved the matter. But Yukari had been involved in a completely seperate matter...at the same time? Is that really a coincidence?

As much as he tried not to think about it, he couldn't help comparing it to his own situation. Katchi, Chuck, and Shirou hadn't been real "Villains" per se--they were too small minded and too weak. But their decision to try and go big with a real kidnapping, from what Kenichi had pieced together during his time with them, had been heavily influenced by the League of Villains showing up at UA. Was that the reason? Were Villains all over the place going to start all poking their heads out at once? Were they just that bold, now that the bastion of Herodom, UA, had been proven not-so-invulnerable? Or...maybe this could have been coordinated?

As they boarded the bus Kenichi shook his head. All that thinking wasn't his strong suit. And everyone already seemed so worried...it wouldn't do any good to bring up something like this and make it even worse on them. Massaging his side, he tried to make a little bit of small talk...but it didn't seem like anyone was in the mood. The best he could do, he decided, was to try and snag the seat nearest to Fumika. To be emotionally supportive and stuff. Yeah. That was...that was right, right?

Jett kept them updated as much as possible, and Kenichi decided to use his own phone and check the local news stations. As he scrolled through stories, he happened to pause on one for just a moment.

Kidnapped Student Rescued by Local Hero Decaman! Three Criminals in Custody!

Kenichi's jaw clenched hard enough the people sitting closest to him could probably hear his teeth grind. He quickly flipped to another webpage.

As this motley collection of heroes-to-be flowed out of the bus, Jett told them where to find everyone. Kenichi remembered Reina, and he was starting to piece together that Kaida might have been that girl hanging out with Roy and Jett that first day in the cafeteria, but now he wondered who Michiko was and when she had joined the class.

”So..who do you guys wanna see first?” asked the taller boy. Kenichi thought to himself that he should probably go see Takeshi and Roy first, since A: he'd be more likely to be let into the boys' room with less trouble, and B: Jett's own info so far said the girls were resting.

"I say we visit them all one by one, starting from one side and working our way down," Mina suggested.

"Or we could split up." Kenichi pointed out. "There's more than a handful of us here, and I bet the nurses would get ticked if we just all crowded out their rooms or the hallways." He looked around to see if anyone else would take him up on that idea.

Nonetheless, all of the injured students seemed to be on the second floor anyway, so the group would have to stay together for that first leg of the trip. And just as they entered the hallway leading to their friends' rooms, they found the first of the wounded--one whom Kenichi noted hadn't even been mentioned thus far. Donny, who looked relatively uninjured actually save for the fact his behavior made it clear he's on some really good painkillers. Kasuke immediately confronted him only to be met with a barely coherent response.

"Easy, Kasuke-chan." Kenichi piped up without thinking about who he was actually talking to. "Don-kun ain't gonna heal any faster if ya glare at him like that. Why don't ya help him to a vending machine or--"

Just then, a mousy girl pushed her way through the group with a muttered "Sorry, excuse me..." Kenichi would, of course, not have minded at all to move out of her way. Unfortunately, by the time she had actually said anything, she had already brushed against him.

Zap. "YEOWWwwhyyy goddammit!" First he jumped, his hair standing on end either due to surprise or electricity--probably the electricity--and then of course due to reflexive tensing of his muscles he immediately doubled over again due to the pain in his ribs. "Who--cough, hack, fffffuuuck meeee--who brought the cattle prod?!"

He looked up as, moments later, a room's door slammed closed. A glance at the plaque on the wall told him that was Takeshi and Roy's room. Fighting through the pain, Kenichi started towards it. Who had that girl been? Why had she suddenly rushed into the room of two boys? As he thought about that mousy voice, he suddenly made the connection!

Even as he trembled on his feet, one hand clutching his ribs, he reached for the door handle--!

"DON'T DO IT TAKESHI AND ROY, SHE LOOKED LIKE A LOLI--!"

Just then Roy aggressively wheeled himself out of the door, opening it and in the process swinging its doorknob directly into Kenichi's ribs.

"GYAAAHAAAGH--"

As Roy wheeled himself to Kaida's room, still speaking to this cattle-prodding loli, the door slowly swung back to reveal a crumpled, white faced Kenichi slumped against the wall.

Acion Nakamiji

Acion was prepared for outbursts, but did not expect this. His eyelids rolled up as his two irises stunned locked at Hitomi as her face echoed of distress, frustration and anger. The split second passed as the winged man half regretted the decision to let them know the whole ordeal. But things considered, it was just instinct of a human. It would eventually get to them anyway.

"Ok. Calm down. I honestly don't know what cause these freaks to sink their fangs on us. Not at least to what I currently know for sure. It's too cloudy of a sky to take flight right now." He raised his two hands out as he steered the two girls back into the conversation. Into what needed to be said in the first place. "I know you're angry and confused right now, but these guys are dangerous. It took at least a squad of pro heroes to handle a few of them. It was a Herculean task. There's currently nothing immediately reactive we could do right now. If me or anyone of us follows them, it'd be suicide."

The mood just simply dropped a notch, as a chill of wind sneaked into the classroom, running through his skins glacially. The urge to look down was immense, but Acion instead stood up slowly as he stared out of the window, his mind in the distance.

"I'm pretty sure I'll be involved in this one. And as a hero, I'm not gonna shy away from it either. But for now, just banish everything you know today from your mind, and don't communicate it with anyone, unless you truly trust them." He explained. Whatever they did he would not interfere with free will. But this was for the best.

Aurelia Nakamiji

"Everything I know today had been completely turned upside-down."

Spoke the sky's loyal and fierce defender. Luckily for the Sky Knight's leader, everything subsequent to the events at that ramen shop with those Shadow Clan figures had been rather peaceful. Good for her anyway. She was sure she had enough training for one day. But now that the ones that her entire clan was hunting for was now revealed, and turned out to be immensely stronger than she imagined, all plans had to be reconsidered. To even know that she was under constant surveillance by these freaks...everything should be done with care from now on.

Just at that moment, the comm link buzzed her ear gently.

"Mustang coming in."

"Uhh, Aurelia. I think you should know this." The voice of a certain friend, now colleague, sprang into her senses.

"What is it?" Her curiosity piqued.

"There's an incident involving Kensai that was just reported."

The color on her face drained. Her flight seemed to lose the fluid of a legendary flyer.

"What? What is that incident?!" She almost yelled into the link. "And how do we not know this?"

"It was between him and two students, also from Komei."

"For the loving Christ...them again?!

These people could not stay out of trouble, could they? Everything that was concerning her in recent days had been from either her brother or his mates.

"It happens right when we are in battle at the ramen shop, but we did receive calls from citizens. Blue Squadron did get there in response, but things were already over when they get there."

"So what's left?" She asked, in slight fear.

"Well, those kids were fortunate enough to survive. They're now in the hospital, where we just return from." Forte responded. "I know going back there is kind of backtracking, but if you can, check up on them. To see if they're alright. They're the only clear witness I believe."

And also because they were the offsprings of the home where these two heroes had also been born from. They both felt like they weren't just strangers to her.

"Alright. I'll make the turn. If there's any other important things?"

The voice on the other side said no. With that, the link was shut off. And with that, Aurelia made a wide U-turn, slicing through the air with her wings, rushing right back to the hospital. In minutes, she was already at the courtyard, strolling into the counter of the reception. Just as she was about to ask the receptionist there, she realized that she had yet to ask what those student's names were. Now were she to make the call again? She wouldn't really want to do that in a hospital though. It may be harmful, and lacks the manners anyway. Assuming they were students of Komei, they'd probably be placed on the second floor too?

Rolling her eyes, she headed straight for the stairs. Just as she stepped half a foot onto the second floor, a wheelchair flashed right across her eyes, the narrow edge wheels was an inch away from reducing her foot to a flat sheet of paper. Turning briefly to the direction of where that thing was going, she recognized that blonde head.

"This class of him is such insanity..."

She's not gonna save them from the nurses now. No more.

Dulga Tarata

The drive into Hikiddo was quiet but fast. All Dulga had to hear was the roaring of her bike as she traversed the mountain paths. It wasn’t long before she came across a familiar bed in the road and turned into a small narrow path. It was mainly gravel compared to the asphalt, and it was in dire need of replacing, but her bike was able to climb over it until she reached a gate. It was a small gate with just one steel bar blocking the path. Dulga didn’t bother undoing the lock; she simply picked up her bike and walked over it.

A short walk later and Dulga was at her old home. A tall wooden cabin, with tall grass overgrown with vines and moss. Dulga old home. She looked around and at first glance you couldn’t even imagine anything as chaotic as a wildfire could have happened here. But with just a glance Dulga could see it all over again. She blinked, and it was back to reality. Moving on she went to the house, unlocking the front door with a key. It was cold, dark, and musty inside. She flicked the light switch near the door but there was nothing.

”I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. No sense in paying for electricity to here.” Dulga went further inside, taking a flashlight inside a drawer to light her way. Even though there wasn’t really anything in the house; all the old furniture had been either sold or removed. A thick layer of dust covered everything. Dulga made a beeline towards the attic.

One would think if you wanted to hide something heavy and important, put it in the ground. But Dulga’s mother was different; important things were left where she could easily get them. Even if say, her House was burnt down or blown up. Hard to get to a safe buried underneath tons of rubble. Built into the support beam of the House was a steel safe that didn’t even have a key or lock. That was because it was a puzzle box that required not just a knowledge of the box, but also brute strength. Seemingly bare. There were specific spots on the box you needed to press down on, hard. For an average man they would need a wedge and a sledgehammer for the needed force. For someone like Dulga or her father, just one finger.

Dulga presses all of the right buttons and the safe opened. Inside was another gun box just like the one Dulga carried. With this in her possession Dulga set the flashlight down to illuminate the room as she started to put her guns together. Two handguns, a marksman rifle, her shotgun, and now the final weapon from her mother’s arsenal: the PTRD. Single shot, 12.7 caliber, made of modern materials instead of being a refurbished antique. Dulga always wondered why her mother put time and money into buying a modern replica of such an ancient gun. The best she could think was that she needed heavy firepower for cheap; compared to other guns that were chambered with the same bullets or something similar, the PTRD costed pennies. It helped that her mother always had this one belief; that a good hunter only needs one shot. With one bullet you had to be sharp, had to know when to hold your shot, pick your battles, and when to finally take a stand. Someone with many bullets won’t think like that; they’ll think that as long as they have bullets they’ll take as many shots as they could, making up their accuracy with volume. That might be fine for a soldier who only needed to shoot when ordered, but for a hunter like Dulga and her mother, sometimes all they get is the one shot. They had to make it count.

It made Dulga reflect on her previous battle. She had fired twenty-two pistol rounds, six shotgun bags, and eight rubber rifle rounds. And none of those bullets eliminated anyone. Sure, she had managed to hit a few targets with them, but they didn’t defeat the other students. Even the one victory she could claim over Amane was ultimately done not because Dulga was a good shot, but because she was willing to throw away Mamoru for a gamble. In the end all Dulga was good for was barking orders and intimidating people. Which might be fine in scarring off punks. But neither of those things were going to help her defeat Kensai.

Ten years ago there was a villain in the Hikoddo region who wanted to bring back the native wolf and bear population. He thought that modern Japan had destroyed the natural beauty of the mountains and forests, and with his genetically modified wildlife, he was going to raze the towns and cities into the ground so that nature can reclaim them. Sufficient to say a team of heroes put a stop to that, however while they managed to arrest the villain his creations fled into the wilderness and began to breed. Without anyone to command them they simply returned to being wild beasts, but occasionally their numbers would grow too large. More peaceful wildlife conservation groups have been trying to control their population without repeating the same extinction in the past, but it wasn’t that simple.

Though beast they may be, they were stronger, faster, tougher, and smarter than their ancestors. They did not fall so easily for baits and traps, but still retained their savagery and apathy towards humanity. It was not unusual for reports of campers or hikers who have been torn to pieces. That’s where people like Dulga’s mother stepped in. After she had retired as a bounty hunter, so took to controlling the animal population, making sure they did not grow too large that they would attack civilizations, while taking out any beasts who showed an interest in hunting humans. Of course that was a few years ago when Dulga’s mother was still alive. Now no one patrols these woods. She has seen scenes of their activity. Scratches against the trees, droppings in the grass, prints in the dirt. They’ve claimed her home as their own. It was a good idea to bar their windows; if the wolves couldn’t go through the door no doubt they would have tried to smash through glass.

And Dulga knew that by night they would know she was here. Her footprints were on the path, her bike was outside, and she hadn’t bothered to hid her scent at all. Even if this was her home they would think of her as an intruder and try to force her out. Dulga’s bullets were limited; she was going to have to make every shot count. She had until nightfall before the wolves would be at her door. She needed to prepare accordingly. After assembling her guns Dulga walked over to a dusty old box in the attic and opened it, revealing hundreds of pounds of rope and wires.

”I have a lot of work to do.”

Fumika had remained silent for almost the entire trip, listening intently every time Jett spoke up with some new bit of information. If she were to speak, what would she even say? That she was worried? Of course everyone was worried, and talking about it didn't seem as if it would help any. All she could do right now was wait - wait and hope that everything would turn out alright.

Click, click, click. Haruka's artificial leg rapped and tapped against the edge of her seat. Her expression was calm enough, but Fumika could tell that she was worried too. When the bus stopped close to the hospital, she was the first out the door, and despite her hobbling and shuffling, occasionally hanging ever so slightly onto Jett's sleeve or shoulder for support, she stayed close to the front of the group. Fumika trailed behind her. Her long legs didn't seem to want to carry her any faster than the pace of the person beside her. Every now and again, she couldn't help but look over.

Yoshida had seemed... strangely upset on the bus. He hadn't spoken at all, but she'd seen him grit his teeth and give a look much like the one that had so frightened her when he'd broken down before. She had almost reached out to hug him again before she stopped herself. Everyone had seemed upset when she had done that before, and it had made her feel rather strange, too. She decided it would probably be better to wait until they were alone. Thankfully, it hadn't taken long before his expression had changed again, and he had smiled once or twice. That was good. He had a very nice smile, and it made her think of how he'd looked when he said it was alright to talk about herself. ...Actually, wait... Why was she still thinking about that? Maybe it was because it had almost seemed like he was looking at her whenever he smiled that way... But surely that was just her imagination.

Once they arrived at the hospital, they began discussing who they'd visit first. Fumika's first impulse was to go and see Reina, but since they said she was resting, maybe that would only just bother her. Besides, Takeshi and Roy were both very kind to her, and she couldn't help but worry. After all, both of them were very strong, but they were also physical fighters for the most part. They had probably had the hardest time of anyone because of that, and the more she thought about it, the more she couldn't help but worry.

Her fears only increase when the familiar shape of Donny slouched into view. Her eyes flashed red for a moment as she looked him over, only to find that, as she'd feared, he seemed to have taken a great deal of damage. Or... well, all of his bones were gone, but then again, he didn't seem to need them, so perhaps he wasn't hurt as badly as she'd feared? There seemed to be a lot of outside chemicals in his system, however, and his body wasn't breaking them down nearly as quickly as she would have expected. They must have had to put him under, although how one would even begin to operate on someone whose organs seemed to be merely a formality was difficult to imagine.

But speculation would only get so far. She opened her mouth to ask if he was alright, but her words were drowned out by a sudden cry of pain from her left. Someone had just passed by, bumping into Yoshida, and then he'd doubled over screaming.

Her eyes had only just gone back to blue, but before even she knew what she was doing, they flashed green, and in her outstretched hand, the long staff she'd seen Amane wield briefly during their time as teammates flashed into being. Sparks shot from the ends of her hair as it flared up in violent spikes, like the bristles of an alarmed cat. She moved immediately between Yoshida and the unknown individual - who called back a hasty apology as she ran away. Fumika glanced back behind her to Yoshida, who seemed to have recovered himself, and looked more mildly annoyed than anything else. It hadn't been anything serious, then... Right?

...Why, then, had her first instinct been to think they were under attack? This was a public hospital. Heroes were surely alerted and on patrol. Any villains trying to finish the job they had started would be dooming themselves. There wasn't any reason to suspect danger here... And the "culprit" had only been a young girl, about their age. So why was she still so uneasy? As she dismissed the weapon in her hand, she couldn't help but realize that it was shaking.

"Yoshida, are you alright?" She asked quietly. Her eyes had faded back to blue, and her hair flopped back down around her face with a faint snap-hiss of dissipating electricity. He paid her no mind, reaching out to the door the retreating girl had just gone through-

And was promptly flattened as it swung back open.

Fumika knelt, eyes flashing red as she assessed the damage. He seemed to be a bit more bruised, but thankfully, his ribs had withstood the blow. Her gaze flickered back to green as she reached out her hand, a small ice pack forming in her palm, which she placed gingerly against his rather egregiously pummeled stomach.

"...I think you're okay. Sorry. I didn't realize going to the hospital was so dangerous. I let my guard down."

Asuka breathed a faint sigh of relief as the situation seemed to resolve itself. It took her a little longer to do, but using her sister's projection as a reference, it wasn't hard for her to trace a more permanent solution. A sheet of plastic appeared first, followed by a simple square block of ice wrapped up inside.

"I think my Quirk's a bit better suited to this," She said, holding up the bag she'd made and passing it to her sister's wounded friend. "Well, unless you're set on staring at Wonderboy here for another twenty minutes or so." Fumika looked up, blinking with surprise. Her own projection faded out, so she didn't seem to object. That was good, at least.

"Go on," Asuka said dismissively, motioning to the figure who had just rolled out into the hall. "Better check on your friends. It's what you came here for, right?"

It wasn't her place to get involved, after all. These people didn't know her in the slightest. It was unfortunate that they'd been hurt, but it really wasn't any of her business to butt her nose into their problems. She'd be much more useful here.

"...Thank you," Fumika said quietly, and quickly shuffled away, evidently going to inspect the boy who had just passed by in the wheelchair. Asuka exhaled quietly, giving a sarcastic whistle of "surprise."

"Wow. That's rare. She must be really worked up if she's actually thanking me for anything." She sighed, shrugging to the blue-haired boy slouched beside her before casting one last glance back at her sister.

"Worked up" didn't even begin to cover it, really. Sure, it had been surprising hearing Yoshida screaming like that out of nowhere, but even so... Asuka had never seen her sister react so defensively to... almost anything, really. It had almost looked like she was going to take a swing at that girl as she left. Then again, maybe that had less to do with the fact that someone had screamed, and more to do with who it was...

She glanced back to the boy beside her. Yeesh. Talk about scary.

As Roy passed her by, Fumika's eyes once more went red as she looked him over. What she saw... wasn't pretty. His body was bruised and bandaged from head to toe, with minor cuts and scrapes here and there. Although his skeleton seemed intact, his muscles were torn in multiple places. But what alarmed her most was the fact that underneath the bandages, his skin was burned and twisted in a way that was all too familiar to her.

Obviously, asking "are you alright" was pointless in this sort of situation. Even she wasn't stupid enough to miss that. He had sustained injuries that could be frankly described as horrific, and was currently confined to a wheelchair. But at the same time, she felt like she should have had something to say. Maybe something like "What happened?" But that wasn't quite right either. She knew, more or less, the situation. Asking him to rehash it was just redundant, and he probably wouldn't want to talk or think about what he'd just gone through, anyway. Then... what? Before she could think of anything, he'd already passed them by, and she watched him go in silence.

...Mentally, she kicked herself. She should have said something. He'd been hurt terribly, and she didn't even know what she was supposed to say. It was just like when... just like when...

That was when the reading from what she'd recorded behind him as he exited the room finally caught up with her. Fumika's gleaming ruby-red eyes went wide and faded to a pale, ghostly blue-white, a shift in color that her face quickly mimicked as she blanched, staring with a look somewhere between disbelief and horror through the doorway.

The beeping of an EKG. The white curtains, fluttering in the spring wind. A dark shape, lying prone in front of her. The words dying in her throat as the enormity of what had been lost forever settled upon the room like a crushing weight.

She stepped into the open doorway as if in a trance, not entirely aware of what she was seeing - or if aware, still not able to believe it.

Fumika, Haruka, Takeshi

Takeshi raised an eyebrow as Roy said he would take her. Immediately telling her not to be slamming doors because of a barbarian “bully” confused by what he meant. Clearly slamming private room doors open in a hospital is not advisable, but he was sure she was just worried. He grunted softly to himself as he reached for a robe and pulled into onto him, after doing so he laid back for a moment as another wave of dizziness flowed over him. He heard some commotion outside the door of his room, groaning and some worried voices.

But when opened his eyes he looked over to see Fumika standing in the doorway. Her eyes filled with horror and disbelief. At what though? His lack of arm was hidden at his side opposite of the door. Her face was white as well, before he could ask if she was ok, she finally spoke

"Takeshi... Your arm..."

He winced, not out of any physical pain, but to see Fumika this mentally distressed over the fact he lost his arm. He hesitated for a moment, looking away to his feet at the end of the bed. Then slowly swinging them over the edge. As he grunted.

Looking to Fumika again he had a soft smile on his lips. “Fumika… thank you for visiting…” He said softly but politely. Using his right hand to gripp his elbow and nub as if that simple gesture would hide it completely from her. While it was a horrible incident for himself, he was already steeled to push on. But Fumika seemed so worried and he didn’t want that of her. She was so innocent and pure. ”Its not that bad…” he said trying to brush off the severity of it. Though it was clear he understood it as well.

He pushed himself out of bed and finished pulling the robe over his shoulders. Shakily at first, but he managed to regain his balance. Whats going on out there? I heard some groaning...did Roy hit someone with the door? He added, trying to deflect the bigger issue.

Fumika stared blankly at him. Her mouth opened as if to say something, then shut again. She blinked once, very slowly and deliberately, as if only just then realizing she’d forgotten and resolving to do it properly if she was going to do it at all. She nodded slightly, but still didn’t speak. Her lower lip seemed to twitch slightly - the faintest sort of quivering motion that suggested that with some herculean effort, she was trying to speak - or perhaps trying to keep herself from speaking. Her hands reached up to fidget with the curtains of her hair, but she couldn’t quite seem to put them in the right place, and grasped once, then twice at thin air before she finally found the warmth she was looking for. It didn’t seem to bring her much comfort, regardless.

“Fumi. Oi, Fumi. Snap out of it.” The rough voice to the right of her seemed to do the trick, and she jumped slightly releasing her hair and looking down to find two worried amber eyes gazing back up at her. Harukaze Haruka waved a hand slightly in front of her friend’s face, then placed it on her shoulder. “He says he’s fine, so relax a bit, alright?” She seemed to consider saying more, but the message was clear enough to the distraught blonde as it was. Fumika gave another slight nod, and her hands slumped down to her sides.

“...Sorry.” She murmured apologetically, although what she was apologizing for was unclear. She looked up to Takeshi, and although she seemed tense, she managed to address him without shaking. “We heard about what happened,” she said quietly, trying hard to keep her eyes focused on his face, to keep them focused on the room in front of her rather than the room she’d seen a year prior. “We… we came as fast as we could.”

Takeshi nodded and said quickly, No need to be sorry Fumika... He said raising his stump of an arm. As to scratch the back of his head...clearly forgetting about what happened… He looked at it for a split second. “Its a lot to take in, I get it… He lowered his arm and added, ”As I said before, thanks for coming… it means alot to me that you came so quickly...but...

He looked to Haruka, noting her prosthetic leg. ...If this is too hard for you to be here...or need some time to process it… thats ok.” he added at the end...the image of her pale face and horror look in her eyes becoming more and more clear as he made the connection with Haruka. He didn’t want her going through some unnecessary pain seeing him like this right now.

That seemed to get a reaction, at least, but he wasn’t sure if that was an improvement. She raised her head, her eyes momentarily widening with something approximating shock, before snapping back to that same blank, slight frown as always. It was almost uncanny how quickly her face always seemed to revert to that look - as if she’d forgotten how to wear any other expression save that. And yet, she clearly hadn’t forgotten, but-

Her lip twitched slightly, but once again, if she was trying to say something, she failed miserably. Or, perhaps she had just decided that it would be best not to speak. After another moment, the last strand of her hair that was stubbornly standing upright drooped lifelessly down across the bridge of her nose, and her head followed suit.

“I... Nn…” The words were difficult, but she got them out at last. “...Right. I’m… sorry.”

She gave a curt nod, turned, and shuffled quickly toward the door, seeming somehow smaller than when she had first entered it.

Takeshi reached out with his stub as she turned around, getting the impression he made things even worse after seeing her hole body basically droop down. ”W-wait… i didn’t mean…’ he started to say, the sudden movement causing his dizziness spell to kick in again. Falling against the end of the bed and knocking off the clipboard that was on Roy’s bed in the process. He reached out for the footboard of the bed, but misjudged the distance and couldn’t quite reach-

Suddenly, something - no, someone - broke his fall, interposing herself between him and the ground and catching him gently. Or perhaps it was a “something” after all? The copy of Fumika standing between him and the bed gently helped him back upright, supporting him at least until he could sit back down on the side of his bed. Looking up, he could see Fumika stopped halfway through the doorway, one hand upon the frame, clutching it tightly. Her knuckles were white against the black of the doorframe, and her gleaming emerald eyes were staring at him behind the frames of her glasses with a strange expression, somewhere between worry and… fear? Or perhaps apology?

Haruka nodded to her, and the copy disappeared. “Whew. Nice save, Fumi,” She said, giving her friend a thumbs-up. “Why don’t ya make sure that Yoshida kid’s alright? He took a pretty nasty hit to the gut back there.”

“Oh… Okay.” She nodded slightly, more firmly than she had before.

”W-wait Fumika’ he said as he put a hand firmly on the bed, not sitting down. He had closed his eyes once more to stop the spinning of the room for a moment, but he wanted to make sure she just didn’t leave after Haruka told her to go check on Yoshida. He then looked directly at the blonde haired girl who stood in the doorway, with a genuine smile he said, “Thank you Fumika,I really appreciate you being here.”

“Eh?” Her eyes shot up in evident surprise, then slowly dropped down to the floor as the faintest shift came over her face. Perhaps she was embarrassed, or perhaps it was the slightest sort of smile. Her hands fidgeted a bit with the sleeves of her cardigan, and she wobbled her head slightly up and down, seeming taken aback, but glad that he’d seen fit to thank her. The life crept back into her hair, which crackled a bit with nervous energy as the strands fretted back and forth on their own. At last, she found the right words to answer. They were simple words - so simple that even she could be sure to get them right. “Oh… You’re… welcome.”

She glanced to Haruka. Haruka nodded once again, giving a reassuring smile. Fumika smiled faintly in return, then glanced back to the boy on the bed. “Umm… Please be careful, Takeshi. You probably shouldn’t be walking around. I’ll… um… come back in a bit. Is… that alright?”

Haruka grinned, evidently glad to see her friend’s mood so improved. It was a comparatively slight change, but for someone like her, even that much spoke wonders. “Sure thing, Fumi. Don’t you worry. I’ll make sure he doesn’t do anythin’ dumb. I happen to be an expert on that subject, so he’s in good hands!”

Takeshi nodded to Fumika, “Please do… I'll rest here for a moment then.” He said, as he lowered himself on the edge of the bed. He really needed to go see his sister… perhaps he needed the help to make it down the hall if he couldn’t make it five feet without falling over.

He looked to Haruka, who shrugged as Fumika retreated once more out the door. “She’s almost scarily good at that, isn’t she? The whole catchin’ you when ya slip thing, I mean.” She rapped her knuckles against the plastic kneeplate of her prosthetic. “It got to the point where I couldn’t even bump into somethin’ without at least three of her grabbin’ onto me like I was gonna fall off a cliff or somethin’. And without hardly even lookin’, either. She’s somethin’ else, really.” The pride in her voice as she spoke was obvious, but she dismissed it with another shrug and a sigh. “Sorry about her. I know you probably don’t want to be fussed over, but she really is just trying to help.”

He nodded as she spoke, even before this, in the exercise how she saved him a few times in just a short period of time. ” She certainly is…. looking at her directly, “I’m just not used to being fussed over really, but it's nothing you should apologize for. Actually, I appreciate it immensely… I never had anyone come check up on me when i’ve been injured before. Other than my little sister that is...

He looked back to the door, ”She just looked so distraught, like she took it so personally. I didn’t want her feeling that way because of me. But I guess i need to be more clear when speaking with her eh? he added while scratching the back of his head with his right hand.

“She takes everything personally. Really, it’s not your fault. Fumi’s just like that. She means well, but… Let’s just say she bites off more than she can chew.” She scratched the back of her head with a slight grimace. “How should I put this…? If you complained that there wasn’t air in outer space, she’d probably say something dumb like, ‘Sorry! I’m not strong enough to fix that.’” She exhaled quietly. “Everyone’s got things they can’t do. Fumi just needs to…”

She trailed off, then shook her head and shot him another cheeky grin, her momentarily serious mood dissipating completely. Unlike her friend, Haruka herself was something of an open book. It was obvious that she was trying to change the subject and lighten the mood, but even if it was obvious, it wasn’t painfully so. Somehow, her irreverent and casual tone was like a breath of fresh air compared to the heavy atmosphere that had come before it. “Well, whatever. I don’t think we ended up talkin’ last time I saw you. It’s a pretty lousy time for introductions, but I’d be a pretty big jerk if I didn’t even give ya’ my name. I’m Harukaze Haruka. Whatever you wanna call me is fine. Any friend of Fumi’s is a friend of mine.

Takeshi listened intently, nodding as she spoke. Honestly it was good to hear this from someone who really understood her. He being horrible at expressing his own feelings, let alone understanding an odd interesting girl like fumika. He didn’t get a chance to really add anything to the first more serious part, as she segwayed into a more light hearted introduction. He smiled, appreciating someone who was being...real with him.

It’s a pleasure to meet you Haruka, My name is Yashiro Takeshi. Please just call me Takeshi.

The dark-haired girl gave a slight grin, tapping a fist against her open palm and giving the universal sign of a delayed realization. “Ah, yeah, that makes sense. I was wondering why Fumi was already acting so familiar around ya’. Good. I was almost worried for a sec that she was just bein’ rude. Guess I should have more faith in her.” She gave a slight chuckle and raised two fingers to her forehead, flicking them in a haphazard salute. “Well, whatever. Nice to meetcha, Takeshi.”

When Mina said to Visit everyone clearly weirded out that he asked, he shrugged his shoulders, not thinking that it was, and EVERYone in the same room could get a little crowded. Thankfully Kenichi caught on to what he originally meant...though its true he was horrible at conveying it himself the first time. He simply pointed to Kenichi with wide eyes as if to say, ‘that's what I meant’.

Though no one really spoke up they just decided to just head up. Which he was fine with for now. Personally he wanted to See the girls first...cause well...the guys are fine. Their GUYS they’re supposed to be tough. Also he knew Kaida more than the dudes...But he was smart enough to NOT say that out loud. While he knew the girls were strong and could defend themselves and what not, he was always taught by his father to protect his sisters, as that was his role as the oldest brother. Which often bled out to any girl…

As they walked he was glad Haruka had come, and had used him as support while walking...it wasn’t much at all, but even this little gesture that he was able to help meant alot to him that he was able to do something for her,

After Mina ran off to confront Donny a lot of stuff happened, from kenichi yelping when a girl passed him, to roy slamming a door open with that said girl and knocking kenichi down for good. To Roy even glaring at HIM! What the hell did he do? But more importantly...who was that girl and why was she with Roy?

Haruka decided to follow Fumika into the room, was going to go follow them but he decided to just go over to Kenichi, who Asuka was now tending to. He crouched down so he was at eye level with Kenichi and Auska You ok there? Maybe we should check you in while we are here. Though… you got to admit… that was pretty funny, who honestly gets doors slammed into their sides now a days?

The girl perked up when the tall dark haired boy said he knew her, looking to the blonde haired boy as he mentioned he didn’t know where she was, but this boy did. Covered in bandages it seemed like he was covered in burns. She furrowed her eyebrows when he started to get himself in a wheelchair. U-um you could just point me in... was all she could say as he ignored her and moved passed her to the door, she started to hear someone yelling for Takeshi and Roy, but thats when he threw it open, she heard a grunt of pain, but didn’t think it was someone else behind the door. For some weird reason.

She followed him out, her bundle still tight to her chest and up enough to hide her mouth. She looked back to look at the group of people she passed, but didn’t see the blue haired boy… she glanced at the blonde boy who seemed to be glairing at the group that gathered… but why?

He then spoke, at first she regrettably nodded at the first comment...probably she shouldn’t be slamming doors open in the hospital. A little spark of electricity arced on her fingers as she grew red with embarrassment. But it suddenly went away when she started to catch on who he was speaking about.

She pulled her head back. Her father could be a dork and extremely protective at times...but when he mentioned his hair, she raised an eyebrow...at least it is styled unlike this boy...who looked like he stuck his finger in a light socket. Those suspenders were a gift from mom. She glared at the boy as he opened the door to her room without even knocking. What a little perv. He then had the audacity to ask if she had other business or just checking up on her.

You know I’m sorry for barging in your room, but it doesn’t mean you can be a rude little prick. She said angrily. ANY reason I’m here is none of your business.” She said as she raised a hand, blue electricity arcing from her fingers clearly now, pointing at the boys chair. The electricity arced and zapped the chair. He would feel the shock as well, but not as bad. The chair however suddenly lurched backwards and shot out of the doorway with Roy in it and across the hall, in front of a platinum haired woman. Slamming against the wall it stopped suddenly as if it was stuck to the wall.

”You stay away from Kaida!”

Ruby Mamoru

Despite the more than serious matter, or maybe even because of it, Ruby stayed quiet for the duration of their short travel to the hospital. There wasn't much she had to say to those who joined them, she basically did not know them at all and felt a disconnect towards them even though they were her classmates. After all, hastily exchanging a few words on school grounds or in class wouldn't make anyone your friend. Hell, Ruby knew more about Amane than about those who were with her and that she accompanied to her other hospitalized classmates. But if she did not follow them to the hospital now, what chance would there ever to be to become friends with them?
Of course she recognized them, especially someone like Jett to whom she had a rather awkward relationship with. Upon seeing him for the first time, Ruby attempted to hide her slight blush and only greeted him in the same quick manner that he did. After all, Ruby didn't even want to think about what happened between them during the exercise. It would surely linger a while as a thought in the back of her mind whenever she'd see him.

Once they had reached the hospital though, it became slightly chaotic. Since Ruby did not really have a very noticeable presence, rather staying in the background of things without saying much, it was easy to forget she was there, especially with everything that happened around the small group that could and would easily be distracting.
Though Jett's question to where they should go first was more than valid, it made Ruby realize that she was not actually quite sure where to, or rather, to whom she wanted to go first. After all, she came along rather spontaneously without asking many questions just like her instincts wanted her to. Therefore she was a little dumbfounded by the question, but luck struck her once more as the perfect oppertunity basically opened up in front of her. She saw Roy looking badly beat up in a wheelchair. Since Roy was practically one of the first people she had met during the exercise, she recognized him immediately and did care about him, especially considering the seemingly intense severity of his injuries that he had sustained. The quiet black cat in the back decided this was her moment to part from the group to follow the wheelchair-bound classmate. Without really saying a word to the others who were still standing in the corridor, Ruby walked in the direction where Roy and the little girl who had followed him went. Luckily for her own ego, Ruby didn't notice yet that someone seemed to be allergic to cats... that would surely lead to a surprise later.

Anyways, she followed them into the hallway, seeing them disappear around the corner before suddenly, the blonde in the wheelchair charged across the hallway in front of her. It was so out of nowhere that the catgirl did not expect it and her cat-ears perked up in frightened attention for a short moment before calming down again. With her eyes still opened rather widely in surprise she muttered to herself
"W-What...?"

As she approached the hallway, she leaned forward so that only her head was visible as she looked from one corner, where Roy was likely shaken from what had just occured together with another woman, to the other corner where the angry loli was standing.
Since she only recognized one of them, Ruby decided to walk towards Roy rather after acknowledging the unknown girl.
"Hey there Roy... are you.., like, are you alright?"
She said awkwardly. This situation was just weird, even for black-haired catgirl standards. Even though she didn't talk much to Roy after the exercise she hoped that showing her concern now would give him reason to maybe even become friends with her eventually. As awkward as that sounded.

LYSANDER

Lysander rolled his eyes at these basic ass prank ideas. Did none of them have a drive for the spotlight? Had they not heard the classic american ideology that told him to go big or go home? He wouldn't even give Mamorou's ideas the time of day! And this Seiko kid had no idea how in over her head she was. Lysander spun on his heels to address her first and foremost. He put his thumbs through his front belt loops and picked his toes up so he was resting entirely on his heels and balanced horibbly

"Now listen here, just because I'm incredibly attracted to you doesn't mean you can come 'round these parts trying to take my team and my position as best wire quirk user in the school. Second off, yes I want to date you, if that wasn't implied hard enough and maybe we can work this title battle into the prank. Listen, we fight, get Amane in the middle of it, tie him to a pole on the next training exercise and then we leave him and go continue our fight later. I would be mighty pissed if I was immobile for an entire training exercise. We could have all of us stage a fight, seeing how we got two b's and two a's."

Lysander held his arm out as he talked, rocking forward about half way through his speech so that he had balance once again. Wires protruded from the holes in his arms and made a coil in the air as he described the binding of Amane. He gave Seiko a wink and made sure to slightly obscure her view of Toru. He was the main character here, he got the babe.

Roy Kusayanagi

Roy played totally oblivious to the ruckus being caused behind him as opened the door. Knowing exactly why they were here, he knew they would most likely follow behind him after the way he ignored them, and if they didn’t...well that would be on them.

“Huh?”

Roy began to feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand up and even some of his hairs exposed through the bandages on his head began to rise. On the other hand his gut was also telling him nothing good was about to happen. Was it sparks again?! Did he hear him? Suddenly the loli stranger began raising her voice at Roy, as he turned to face her he was met with a few jolts to the body that caused his muscles to shudder a bit in reaction. Muscles Roy hadn’t planned on really using anytime soon. The boy gritted his teeth as he tried to bear with the involuntary movement.

As the shocks went through his body, the boy felt as though he was having somewhat of a deja vu moment. Roy then felt his body lurch forward as he bolted from the doorway and back into the hallway, the boy tried to move and brace himself but his effort was fruitless as he was stuck to the chair. With a large thud, Roy slammed into the wall loud enough for everyone to hear. The impact from flying into the wall caused the boy the grunt loudly in pain as a wave of pain flashed through his body, knocking out all the fighting spirit within...

or he was just knocked out entirely

Roy had been slumped over forward as he sat lifelessly in the wheel chair. His hair was draped over his face making it hard to see his expression. Shortly after the loli shouted for him to stay away from Kaida, well that was pretty inevitable. Roy was mute for a few seconds before he began coughing and hacking, showing a bit of life. He was shaken up pretty bad after the impact. His breathing even began to pick up. After the girl shouted for him to stay away he realized why he felt that deja vu moment. He was met with adversity in the same way the first time he tried to enter Kaidas room on top of that he was shocked too, but this time was much more violent. He was starting to wish that Sparks caught him this time.

“You’r- exhales, you’re related to sparks aren’t you? The same way you shocked me feels very similar to his.” Except with a lot less control and more power but now was not the time to anger further.

“What’s with the two of you and attacking people you disag—..” Roy picked his head up and began looking up towards the ceiling. His breathing began to pick up even more as he over exerted himself just by speaking. Now that his face was now visible, it was easy to see that his body was under a lot of stress as he began to work up a heavy sweat around his face and neck.

He could hear a familiar voice ask if he was alright, the boy turned his head slightly in the direction of ruby. Before giving her the thumbs up and a half smile.

“Short nap.”

As Ruby approached she would feel a slight wave of heat coming from Roy’s body as the boys body temperature began to rise rapidly, if this continued longer he will get dehydrated quickly.
