Mary Winthrop

Location: Compartment 3
Magic: N/A

Mary wrapped up the sneak-o-scope trying to mute the noise it was producing and then shoved it back into her bag. Hoping that between the bit of extra clothing and the books no one would hear it. Mary couldn't say she knew the reliability of the sneak-o-scope. She had only just gotten it, but her father had given it to her and she trusted his opinion. "We can do some experiments with it later." She suggested.

Though it did seem Georgia hadn't closed the door to the compartment fast enough. She had been spotted. One of the Auror's was saying her name. At least Apollo had cast Salvio Hexia though and if they needed the group could get behind that barrier. Mary checked to make sure her own wand was loose in case she needed to pull it out quickly. "Thank you Apollo." He was much better at that sort of spell then she was. Her skill was charms and transfiguration, not DADA (even if she was passing it just fine)

She hated the current feeling. It was like the old days. Pretending to be something she wasn't had become second nature, but she had just started to be a bit more relaxed about the truth. Apollo knew the truth, which of course meant Artie knew. And if both of them knew there was no way Georgia didn't know, not that once He-who-must-not-be-named had been defeated Mary had bothered to keep it a secret. Though, she did try to keep it to just the group of friends. You never knew what someone's leanings might be, and being a half-blood wasn't great. But Mary trusted the group to have her back. And trust was hard for her to give. Her mind was racing, thankful for this little group of safety, but terrified of what the future might hold now.

Zelda Flynn

Location: Compartment 13
Magic: N/A

Zelda wasn't entirely sure immediately as to where Paige wandered off too, however listening for a moment she heard Paige's voice coming from a nearby compartment, and it sounded like she was talking to Barnaby. Alright, if she was in a compartment then at least she (hopefully) would be staying out of trouble. That's just what they needed, was her managing to get in trouble and start off the school year with a detention. That would have been somewhat funny, but she also knew that it probably wasn't the best thing in the world for her to be doing all things considering. Well, at least for the moment she didn't have to worry about Paige causing any sort of trouble, so with that last thought, she slipped back into her original compartment and sat down, dismissing the charm that she had cast only a few minutes ago.

She shrugged slightly towards Andre, "Well she's now gone off into a different compartment, so at least for the moment she's going to be staying out of trouble... I hope anyway..." she said with a shrug towards him as Goose instantly jumped up onto her lap, starting to purr again like crazy. Zelda sat there, petting her cat gently, just more or less waiting to see if the Aurors showed up at their compartment soon. She mainly just wanted to get this sort of thing over with, as she didn't want to have to deal with her parents being on the train any longer then possible.

Georgina Locke

Location: Compartment 3
Magic: N/A

Georgina had barely put her head inside when she heard her name. Or, rather, a nickname she hadn't heard for a while. She peeked back out and saw Callum walking towards her. She didn't know how to feel in that instance. On the one hand, it was Callum. Her father's partner. She knew him for pretty much her whole life. She looked up to him as an uncle and he always doted on her. On the other, it was a reminder that her father was dead and his killers were still out there. After all, her father died protecting Callum. She only let that thought cross her mind once before she chastised herself. Her father did the right thing. It just hurt.

"Uncle Callum?" she responded in kind. Callum came close and ushered her inside the compartment, where he embraced her in a warm hug. "Mo muirnín, I forgot ye were attending Hogwarts. And a Hufflepuff to boot!" Callum had been a Hufflepuff in his time before he joined the Aurors. He glanced up at the others, noticing their wariness. He held his hands up. "Right good to be protectin' yerselves mind. I mean no harm. Just doing a routine check. I'm sure ye all heard of the escapees."

Georgina came over to her friends, standing in front of Callum. "This is Callum, he worked with my dad before....he died. Callum is all right." Callum smirked and scoffed. "All right? I'm bloody better 'n that. The stories I could tell about this lass here." He ruffled her hair a bit and Georgina fought a blush. Callum turned serious though.

"Right, well I need to get back in it. We're checking for them Death Eaters. You lot are safe, I assure you. We are just checkin' the rooms. Need to get back to it before they have my head. Georgie, keep in touch, right?" He pecked her cheek before he walked out of the room and returned to the compartments on the end, resuming his checks.

Georgina shrugged. "He's more or less my uncle. And one of my main reasons for becoming an auror. He was there when my dad died."

Fae Mintfree

Location: Compartment 15
Skills:

Fae didn't seem at all embarrassed or let down when Beatrice told her what the older Haywood had said. Quite the contrary, actually; she seemed to be even more proud than before. She was grinning cheek to cheek, running a calloused hand through her hair. In her mind, getting in trouble wasn't inherently bad, and it definitely wasn't bad the way she did it. It was, in her not-so-humble opinion, righteous defiance in the face of authority. A peculiar way of speaking truth to power, even if her fists often did the speaking, straight into the faces of other students. And, Fae being oblivious, that's how she assumed Penny, and most other people, for that matter, saw it too.

"Yep, that's right! I'm Hogwarts' most wanted!" she bragged, a gloating smile on her face. She looked to Elizabeth as the girl went on to make Fae herself the topic of discussion. "If you're not careful there, luv, I might just confuse your praisin' for flirtin'." Fae teased, giving a her friend a playful nudge with her elbow. Her smile dimmed slightly, though, when she saw the white-haired girl's face pale in the emerald light. She slid down the bench, scooching closer to her. "You alright there, kid? You're looking a little pale...there's really nothing to worry about. We're all going to protect you. The Aurors, Flame and I, and, erm, him," she said, awkwardly nodding towards Barnaby. Though when she nodded towards him, she saw a familiar ginger slide in next to him from outside the compartment. Fae immediately straightened up.

"I'm actually not sure that is cool, gingersnap," Fae said, her eyes narrowing into slits. She couldn't exactly explain why she disliked Paige. She respected the girl, even though she'd never admit it. The girl had a pair of ladyballs big enough to rival Fae's own. Perhaps if they'd met before she'd become friends with Mary or before Paige had become friends with Zelda, they would've gotten on fine. But they didn't. "In case you hadn't noticed, things are pretty tense right now, and it's our duty to look after these kids, innit? How do we know you're not just a Death Eater in with a Paige Polyjuice Potion in their system? Or, better yet, how do we know the younger Atwell hasn't followed in her dear brother's footsteps? Sorry, but we can't rightly take that risk." Fae said sternly.

Artemis “Arty” Harrington

Location: Compartment 3
Magic: N/A

It took Arty point five seconds to slip back into whatever spell his brother cast. He had little and less interest in staying out and about when there were possible death eaters on board and frankly this little compartment was perfect death eater territory. An auror’s daughter, a half blood, and two muggle borns was practically a target. Would Arty ever admit he was nervous? Absolutely. Keep his feelings and thoughts hidden? Arty was an open book and despite the trouble it had gotten him in―see Merula and all of year 1 and 2―he didn’t have much in the way of control over it. He had his wand at the ready the moment someone opened that door.

“Thank the gods.” Arty flopped dramatically on the seat, falling back into a family habit. “This whole mess is totally bonkers. I thought when you-know-who up and poofed, we’d like, have a touch of time to enjoy ourselves but noooooooooooooooooo. He still has to go and ruin it all with his rubbish loonies.” Arty complained loudly. “Still, it’s super ace you know one of the aurors! You’ll be that one day… Well, not like them. Head auror at least. Huntin’ down the baddies, kicking arse and taking names!”

Lionel maneuvered his way into the next compartment, checking around. Callum came running back just in time to be busted. "Now see here," Lionel began, "You can't just run off. For all we know there are Death Eaters onboard, what." Callum shrugged. "Thought I saw something, turned out to be nothing, mate." Lionel stroked his beard in ponderance. He didn't fully believe the young Scottish man, but he had no evidence to the contrary. "Well..press on then. And keep an eye on the ladies, yes?" Lionel meant that as a sign of distrust, but Callum merely grinned. "Oh, I always do, mate." With a pat on Lionel's shoulder, Callum returned to check the nearest cabin, which was 16.

Burke made her way out compartment 20, rolling her eyes slightly as she overheard what Lionel said to Callum. She elected to take it more as a sign of concern rather than distrust. "It's 1984 - the ladies can keep an eye on themselves."

Bonnie then came out of compartment 19, having thoroughly checked it out. "I don't want to know," she said with a sigh, shaking her head. She spotted her husband go into compartment 15 and she moved along, peaking into compartment 13 and she couldn't help but smile slightly.

"Hello, luv," she greeted her daughter. "Oh, sorry, I'm Zelda's mum - you can call me Mrs. Flynn," Bonnie introduced herself to Andre.

"Isn't it a bit early to be meeting your parents?" Andre teased Zelda with a bit of a wink. "Charming to meet you, Mrs. F."

Compartment 1 -

"I just hope she isn't too bad of an influence on Bea... She's awfully impressionable," Penny lamented, looking down slightly. She was comforted though that Fae was in the same compartment as her sister - she might not be able to hex a Death Eater, but she could certainly beat them with her fists. "An invisibility potion? Those aren't too difficult... If I had a chicken on hand, I could probably brew one."

"It's not Merula," Talbott disagreed, shaking his head dismissively. He wasn't going to be dissuaded from the idea that there were dark wizards on the Hogwarts Express. He had his wand at the ready as he stared at the doorway, waiting for a fight.

"But yes, we should go after this - I'd love for you to meet Bea. If she's in Gryffindor, you'll watch over her, won't you?" Penny asked. "Keep her out of trouble?"

Paige Atwell

Location: Compartment 15
Magic: N/A

Frederick checked on compartment 17, making sure it was clear, before stopping by compartment 15 and hearing the conversation inside. "Well, that could be the case, however," he said to the group, looking at them before he sprayed the mist into the room and nothing happened. "That's not the case, and just because someone is related to a Death Eater means nothing. We make our own choices in the world. Otherwise, I'd be a Death Eater instead of an Auror if that sort of thinking was true. And who knows? That sort of thinking and those sort of comments might make that more likely to happen if you aren't careful and don't give people a chance. Anyway, name's Frederick Flynn, how's it going? Oh, and Paige, you left your sweater at our house, do you want me to send it to you at school or do you want me to send it to your mom?" he said, turning to look at Paige and giving her a smile.

Paige's blood was boiling. She had been so chuffed to see Barnaby, swooning a little bit from his hug. And then, it all had to be ruined by Fae Mintfree. She was the worst witch Hogwarts had ever produced. But if there was something that got underneath Paige's skin more than anything else, it was the accusation that she would grow up to be a dark witch like her brother. Zelda's auror father being here barely managed to cool her temper and her rage.

"Paige can stay - if you don't like that, then you can leave, Mintfree," Barnaby said. Paige was his friend - good friend, even. Beatrice and the other girl were relatively quiet, although since Paige was good friends with Penny, Beatrice was looking at Fae and seeming confused.

"...If you could send it to school, that'd be fine..." Paige said. It took every ounce of self control for her to not turn and cast a nasty hex at Fae. Yet even with the auror standing in front of her, she couldn't help but tell Fae off. "You know what's sick about you, Mintfree? You spend all your time worrying about me when you should just focus on yourself. Maybe you wouldn't be failing so many classes if you minded your own damn business!"

Apollo Harrington

Location: Cabin 3
Magic:

"Now that sounds like a marvelous evening of fun! Testing out the limits of a magical device while practicing some subtle magic, subterfuge, and illusory spell work? Count me in Mary Winthrop! Now if you'll excuse me I think I'll-" Apollo went to go create another barrier when suddenly the compartment door opened and there stood a man hugging Georgina. Apollos wand arm stiffened and was pointed right at the man until they began to speak, telling them how he was her uncle and was one of the Aurors assigned to this duty. Georgina and Callum each seemed to sing praise for one another but aside from that not much else was done. A compliment here about his spell work but nothing noteworthy in terms of an inspection. His wand hand loosened and fell to his side as his shoulders relaxed and he looked onto the scene.

Apollo popped into Artemis's mind for a moment as he began to think about what was going on. "I'm not so sure about this guy. He was with her father when he died and he is here looking for the escaped Death Eaters? What if he's aiding them? Turned dark?" Arty looked shocked at the idea and then squinted at his brother. "Really? Really? Have you been watching all those muggle consipracy shows again? He's basically Georgina's uncle! He wouldn't do that to her!" Apollo sighed and got one last look at Callum before he left the compartment. Sizing him up to see how genuine he seemed about what he was doing and Georgina. Artemis seemed right, maybe he was being paranoid. "Thank you Auror Callum, forball your hard work."

Mary Winthrop

Location: Compartment 3
Magic: N/A

Mary also stepped back behind the spell, but she couldn't bring herself to sit down. Mary tensed when the Auror entered the cabin but was relieved to see he was a friend of Georgina's. It was unlikely he was a Death Eater. She pushed away a nasty paranoid thought. Something she'd never ever voice to Georgina she decided before it was even fully formed. However, she would later, express it to Apollo in the quiet of their own dorm, having no idea he was having the exact same thoughts as her. Mary bit her lip and kept a sigh of relief inside when Callum left. The next thought she had was just as awful as the first.
1) what if Callum was a death eater and had killed Georgina's dad.
2) What if Callum had let the death eaters go.

Wherever this wild bout of paranoia came from Mary wasn't certain. And in a weird old habit way, she started mentally reciting the Lord's prayer. She hated it, but it helped her calm down.

Mary dashed forward as soon as Callum was gone and hugged Georgina. She didn't know what to say. Mary knew Georgina's father had been killed, and that it had been by a death eater. She also knew that her friend was hurting. Mary wasn't the best at emotional stuff. She had a hard time expressing her own, but she hoped Georgina could use a hug. It seemed like the Hufflepuff way.

"Fae isn't all that bad, I haven't gotten any kind of detention while hanging out with her. I haven't gotten into any detentions while hanging out with her, well except for twice but those weren't when she was around really." Madalyne said with a slight smile, she always did remain out of trouble as best she could. Though she did get detention once during her fourth week at Hogwarts for being late to her Potions Class, and remembered Professor Snape being in a really bad mood. And one other time just for sticking up against Merula's gang, before she went to apply to become a Prefect. "I bet she's adorable to, like you are." Madalyne said to Penny teasing her a little bit as well, gently patted her friend on her shoulder and nodded.

"If she's sorted into my house i'll make sure she's out of trouble, and help her out whenever she needs it." She reassured her friend, then looked over at Talbot, and shrugged slightly though she didn't want to think that it was one of the Aurors that had gotten onto the train to investigate the Death Eaters if they were on here. "Whats her friend like? You mentioned her a little bit to right?" Madalyne asked looking over at Penny for a moment.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Exploding Snap Compartment (Compartment 15)
Magic:

Flame looked between Mintfree and Paige, as tension started to rise between them. It was no secret that Elizabeth and Paige weren't on the best terms, but she was trying to be better recently, and that meant not telling Paige to sod off the moment she showed her face. Keeping her temper cool, she said "Love, let's give 'er a chance. You know I hate death eaters more than anything, but that doesn't mean we can go and hate everyone they ever knew." Flame stood up, and smiled at Fredrick, "That's just how we make more of 'em yeah? Hatred breads hatred, and all that."

Flame looked the Auror up and down, before saying, "So you're the folks who're meant to keep dark wizards away, eh? Flame's the name, pleasure to meet ya'."That was about as close to respectful as Flame got, and all things considered, she did have respect for anybody who'd put their lives on the line to protect others. It was one of the most noble professions in her eyes, and she wasn't about to be unduly rude to one of them. "Anything we can do to help ya'? I take it the Ministry doesn't send Aurors just to check in on students for nothin'." That would be something she'd love to do, actually help an Auror catch somebody, and if this was her shot at that, she was gonna take it.

Zelda Flynn

Location: Compartment 13

Zelda was not too sure what else to really say to Andre at the moment, considering the fact that Paige had left the compartment and thankfully seemed to be staying out of trouble she hoped. Listening somewhat to everything in the corridor, she heard footsteps and some voices coming closer as she then turned and glanced over at the doorway. It was probably a good idea for her to just accept the fact that she was going to run into her parents soon, since they likely were on the train now. That was definitely going to be an interesting conversation. As if the universe was laughing at her, her mother poked her head into the room to say hello.

"Hello mother," she mumbled somewhat, glancing over at Andre who said hello to her mother, as well as a different comment that caused her face to get really warm. Despite her attempts to stop it, it was obvious that she was blushing. Her face had gone completely red at this moment and she glanced away from them to try and hide it. Goose raced up to Bonnie and instantly started snuggling up to Bonnie purring. The little traitor! she thought to herself, before deciding to at the least introduce her mother to Andre properly. "Mum, this is my friend Andre..."

Fae Mintfree

Location: Compartment 15
Skills:

Fae's tense shoulders seemed to relax when the light cloud of mist shot out of the Auror's little spray bottle, descending on the students, leaving each one of them unchanged. Her stern, wary expression didn't fade, however, her eyes remaining on Paige even as the Auror gave his little lecture. Once he was done, Fae wanted to mention to the man that Paige had entered their cabin in the middle of the lockdown, which to her was suspicious, but she kept her mouth shut. There was a bigger chance than not that Paige's excuse for being out and about was true - she had enough of a knack for making courageously stupid decisions to make Fae question why she wasn't in Gryffindor - and Fae was a big believer in the 'snitches get stitches' philosophy. She didn't need a grown-up stepping in to handle her personal grudges. So instead, she looked up to the man and simply nodded in understanding.

"I'm just bein' cautious, Fred. These are scary times. Anyone could be one of 'em," she said, a harsh bite in the word 'anyone' as she glanced back over at Paige. She raised an eyebrow as the boy quickly stepped in to defend Paige. "Fine, whatever. I just hope you're thinking with your brain and not with your-" Fae cut herself off, glancing over to the children in the compartment with them, quickly amending what she'd been planning on saying. "...Feelings." She leaned back in her seat, eyes still on Paige. When the ginger spoke up, telling Fae off, her eyebrows furrowed, and her lips pursed into a defined frown. She leaned forward, gearing up to spit insults back at the other girl, when Elizabeth spoke up. Her friend's words caused her to let out a huff from her nose, much akin to a bull about to strike, but she sat back, looking at Paige.

"No need to get personal there, gingersnap. This ain't about me and you. I'm just tryin' to protect the kids," she said, though her words were only partially true. She did want to protect the kids, but had it been Maddie, or Penny, or Mary and the twins who popped in, she wouldn't have been nearly as harsh.

Georgina Locke

Location: Compartment 3
Magic: N/A

Once Callum was gone and the others ceased their protective measures. Georgina graciously accepted the hug from Mary. It took a lot out of her to see Callum again. It brought up memories of her father, memories of all of them together and happy again. It also brought to the forefront of her mind what her first thought was after hearing about her father's death with Callum nearby.

He could very well have done it himself.

And she hated thinking that. After all, he had known her since she was a baby, pretty much. She didn't like thinking like that, but she also knew that there were not many people that could be trusted, especially now. "I'm fine. Really. appreciate it though. Didn't expect him to be among the ones searching the train. Hopefully they round up Merula and all of them and save us the trouble down the road." She laughed, but her laugh didn't reach her eyes. Her brain was working overtime and anyone that knew her would know she was processing everything.

Artemis “Arty” Harrington

Callum, a death eater? Arty scoffed at the notion. Callum was clearly emotionally attached and death eaters were monsters through and through. Anyone who tried to tell him otherwise was bloody mental. He’d been in enough slytherin’s heads by accident to know the garbage some of them went through at home. He gave a full body shudder and shut that out real quick, instead turning to look at the hugs going on in the compartment. Without further ado, Arty grabbed his brother’s hand and jumped in on it. “Group hug!” He shouted, wrapping his arms around as many people as he could and squeezing. He put his chin on Georgina’s shoulder and continued chatting.

“So, Apollo was telling me we get to learn the color changing charm this year so I was thiiiinking because we’re all super friendly and have been in the same study group since basically our first year…” Arty paused for dramatic effect. He really had been thinking about it since Apollo told him it was in their books and he was totally hyped for his little idea. “We should totally make matching study group shirts! We can totally wear them when we are chilling privately! One of my muggle friends had one for some sort of math team and I like totally thought of us! What do you think? It’s great right?”

Nothing nefarious had turned up yet in the auror's sweep of the train - aside from a bit of hostile behavior in one of the compartments. Frederick Flynn was handling compartment 15, Lyra Burke was in 14, Bonnie Flynn in 13, Lionel St. Willfold in 12, and Callum McFenwick in 11. At this rate of coverage, it would only be another twenty minutes for the sweep of the train to conclude. The aurors couldn't afford to be anything but thorough.

Compartment 1 -

Penny blushed at Madalyne's compliment. She was used to hearing those things from boys at Hogwarts, but she never really felt interested in them. Something about her female friends saying those things though always set her heart a flutter and brought a rose hint to her cheeks. "Chiara's painfully shy... She had a traumatic accident as a child that I don't think she's ever managed to quite shake," Penny explained quietly with a grimace. "I'm sorry I can't tell you more... It's just not my place, you understand."

Talbott poked his head out into the corridor, narrowing his eyes. The sneakoscopes and whatnot were continuing to sing. "The aurors are halfway through the train... Honestly, if it takes them this long to secure the train, no wonder those Death Eaters managed to escape. This is ridiculous."

Compartment 13 -

Paige's cat, Hestia, saw the opening and jumped onto Zelda's lap since Goose was preoccupied. Bonnie chuckled slightly, bending down and giving the cat a scratch behind the ears. Goose was rather old - Bonnie had been his original owner, yet as a toddler Zelda and the cat had been inseparable. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Andre," Bonnie said kindly. "Now try not to let this mist get in your eyes - and don't worry, it's just a routine check."

"What is that stuff?" Andre asked, as Bonnie misted the air.

"It's a potion designed to reveal hidden things - cancel illusions and whatnot," Bonnie explained. "You're all set. I'm sorry darling that your father and I couldn't drop you off... But maybe we'll surprise you one Hogsmeade weekend, eh?"

Paige Atwell

Location: Compartment 15
Magic: N/A

Frederick shook his head slightly at Elizabeth. "Nah, just need you all to stay put while we're looking around okay? And keep an eye on the younger kids, that's all you really can do right now, okay?" he said with a slight smile, before he glanced over at Fae when he heard the bite in her words, and let out a sigh. "Watch what you say kid. Just watch it, she understood what I said," he said, nodding towards Elizabeth, "And maybe you should too. Thinking like that will only make more people like the Death Eaters, and considering you don't seem to get it, then why are you only saying that Paige could be a Death Eater? Anyone else in this compartment could have been one, even you could have been one. So how about you drop the tough girl act, since if anything you are scaring the kids even more than before just by talking things like that. So how about you calm down and stop pointing the finger at people."

Barnaby's eyebrows furrowed, confused at just what Fae had been implying. "How could I think with something that wasn't my brain?" he asked, missing the point entirely. Fortunately the younger students didn't understand it either. Paige got it and if she hadn't been so mad at Fae, she would have laughed. She knew that Fae was lying. If anyone else had come into this compartment, they wouldn't have gotten this scrutiny. Fae didn't even seem to care that Frederick admitted to having familial ties to Death Eaters either.

"You don't need to fight my battles for me, Mr. Flynn - though I appreciate it," Paige thanked him. It was a little bit weird seeing him in a professional capacity. She thought of him more as Zelda's weird dad than any sort of authority figure. "And Fae - how is it not personal? Like Mr. Flynn said, you're singling me out. Maybe you're just feeling inferior or maybe you hit your head too hard playing Quidditch, but I am not a Death Eater. I've never said the M word either! If what you have against me is that I'm a Slytherin, then you and Elizabeth must be a rotten duo. And if it's that my brother did horrible things, then why aren't you trying to protect the kids from Mr. Flynn? You made this personal and you're treating me like I'm some sort of prejudiced monster, when the only one here with prejudice is you!" she huffed.

"Um, excuse me?" Beatrice piped up, looking really concerned. Chiara had curled into a ball in the back of the compartment, breathing rapidly - as if she couldn't get enough air. "Something's wrong with Chiara..." The poor thing was having a panic attack.

"Merlin's beard...She's having a panic attack," Paige deduced. She had seen a lot of kids act like that at Hogwarts before - usually after being notified that their parents had been killed or were being sent to Azkaban. "Let's give her some space?" she suggested softly.

"I could find a kitty for her to cuddle? Or a crup puppy? That always helps me when I get these..." Barnaby suggested.

Madalyne noticed the slight blush from Penny and smiled a little bit, when she mentioned about Chiara and having some kind of trauma when she was little. She had some as well when her parents had died and she was in the accident as well being the only survivor from it, it happened before she got her Hogwarts acceptance letter. She could understand not talking about whatever had happened she didn't talk to many people about the accident other than her family. She never really told Fae about it either, other than just living with her aunt and uncle. "I can understand personal trauma pretty well, but if she ever does want to talk about it i'm there." Madalyne offered Penny and looked over at Talbot.

"They do have quiet a bit of compartments to go through it is going to take them awhile especially with a couple of hundred kids on the train to some of them being first years to, so they are probably having to try and explain things to them as well." She pointed out, as she started to think more about the dance she really was curious what Mary, and Artemis had in mind. "I know that the Celestial Ball is like a month away, but anyone know what they might wear, or ask to be their date?" Madalyne asked.

Mary Winthrop

Location: Compartment 3
Magic: N/A

Mary giggled under the group hug. She loved her friends and wanted to protect them all. She kept the hug up as long as the others wanted. "That sounds like a great idea Arty. We'll have to blend our house colors." Mary loved her house colors, blue had been one of her favorite colors since she was little. It reminded her both of the sky and the sea, which made her feel free.

"How much longer do you think they are going to be searching?" Mary wanted to get to school. "Also we should change into our new robes as soon as we can." She didn't want to be doing that while the Aurors were searching the cabins. She did hope that Callum having been in here was enough that none of the others would search their cabins.

There was a lot on Mary's mind. Too much if she was honest with herself. She'd have to spend some time parsing through it all. Especially before talking with Apollo alone tonight in the Dorm. But first getting to Hogwarts, getting through sorting and dinner. Setting up a meeting with Flitwick, for a couple of reasons.

She mentally sighed hoping the trolly witch would just forget about the whole incident. Mary wasn't the type to get into trouble. She hated it. Hated getting yelled at. Hated having people even look disappointed in her. It brought up too many bad memories. She shuddered slightly as the image of her mother yelling filled her mind. But following the advice of her father, she thought of things that made her happy. She thought of him and her friends and books.

Apollo Harrington

Location: Cabin 3
Magic:

Apollo looked onto the scene of the two hugging, noting that Callum hadn't done much and then hearing Georginas surprise that he was here at all. He hadn't really done much while visiting the compartment and he wasn't quite sure if they would double up on their cabins search. Where they truly just waltzing in and inspecting with the naked eye? Did they have some form of potion eye dropped into their eyes to give them a form of true sight like in D&D? It was hard to say and all he could do was wish that he was able to read Callums mind to help set him at ease more. Not just to see if he was a traitor, but also to see what else they knew about these death eaters that had escaped. As he stood there contemplating he felt a harsh tug on his arm as his body was pulled into a group hug.

His face was squished, and cheek pressed against someones shoulder as he fought for a moment before giving into the scene and hugging it out. "Legillimens or not, sometimes you still manage to surprise me. I do think matching study shirts could be a smashing idea. Though I suppose we should have a name for them as well, see about using this neeto charm I found to help add embroidery or something onto the shirts. It'll be totally rad when we're done with 'em!: Apollo pulled away and nodded at Mary as she mentioned changing into school robes. It did sound like the proper thing to do, his eyes making their way towards the door as he followed the sounds of Auror footsteps drawing nearer and nearer.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Exploding Snap Compartment (Compartment 15)
Magic:

Elizabeth looked towards the shivering mess of a kid on the ground, and gave an annoyed look between Paige and Fae. She supposed that these two's arguing freaked her out. "Maybe we should actually ask her what she wants." Elizabeth said rolling her eyes, and slowly leaned down towards her, still giving her enough space to be comfortable, "Hey kid, Everything's gonna be alright, kay? Now, how can we help you accept that?" Elizabeth had been here before, for as much of a tough girl act she put on, her childhood left her with scars, and she'd had attacks like this before. Something she'd learned from that, is that each time was different and had different needs. She wish'd she'd had somebody who'd ask her about those needs, rather than just assuming them.

She did know somethings that might help, but she didn't wanna freak the kid out anymore. Sitting down, crosslegged across from her, she just smiled, and tried to give her the time and space she needed to calm down enough to respond to her. In the meantime, she smiled up at Fae, "And fer' the record Paige, Fae and I do make a rotten duo- have you seen the things we get up to?" She understood the apprehension about her house though, since she used to think that way. What she'd come to realize, is that Slytherin didn't defacto mean they were monstrous, but it was the sort of environment where it was very easy to be that way, so she honestly understood why people not in the house would think that of them.

Georgina Locke

Location: Compartment 3
Magic: N/A

Georgina combated her inner demons with the warm feelings of the group hug. Surrounded by her mates, she was content to push it aside, for now. "That sounds wicked! I can't wait to see them." Once the hug stopped, she stepped back, closer to the door. She knew the room checks would continue and she wondered if they would be searched again or if Callum would take the lead. He wasn't the leader, as far as she knew.

"Maybe we should wait until the search is done. The train is stopped and won't be moving until they are done, which probably won't be for some time. And that is assuming they don't find anything. I have a hard time believing Aurors are on board doing a regular search without expecting to find something." And it was that thought alone that made her feel both warm and cold. Someone on the train was in league with the Death Eaters and Georgina wanted nothing more than to find out who it was. She had ideas, of course, but since they hadn't heard much, she assumed that the others were not. It was only a matter of time for them to join their ranks.

She pushed that thought aside too and sat back down, waiting. She kept an ear out in the train hallway, in case she heard something. She wasn't about to be pushed out of this.
