So who's everyones favourite characters (other than their own, bonus points on why)? @Ever Faithful guessing yours is CeCe.

Mine is probably @metanoias Blue Beetle, I'm a sucker for a good ol' Blue Beetle scarab story. I always enjoy the two people/one body dynamic, with the whole reluctant hero type deal and ulterior motives.


Shit thanks bro! Blue Beetle is such an interesting idea for me for, honestly. I'm just glad I did it successfully.

As for me, I feel a lean towards Conor. Maybe it's the prospect of the eventual frenemyship of Scarab and Conor or the eventual broship of Johnny Dash and Conor, but there's too much potential there and I'm ready to explore it.

Oh and Platypus. Because Platypusses are awesome

@Bork Lazer 's Platypus steals the show. Somehow Bork can make me laugh like no one else on this site, like he did with this drunken masterpiece (also, for funny sheets, I have to mention this from @rocketrobie2). Playtpus is so cool because it takes a genuinely funny joke concept and then goes on to elevate it into a real character that's got a lot of heart to him. This is the sheet that inspired me to join the game. The idea of taking a shitpost idea like that and weaving it into something cool is really appealing to me. If Bork can maintain that mix of comedy and genuine character development in the game (as I'm sure he can), we'll be in for a helluva time.

If I had to pick a character that cannot lay eggs, I'm going with @ML 's Boxbender. The stranger the power the more I tend to like a concept, and this guy's power is certainly out of the box. Add to that the fact that he's more or less a normal joe in a world of cyborgs, aliens, and alien-cyborgs, does a lot to sell the concept for me, he's positioned to be a wonderful straight man.

I think @Roman's Vincent Jacobs has the best powers of anyone. Legitimately one of the best twists on a space manipulator I've seen in one of these games. But that said, I also love the way @Sep has laid out Conor's runes and the contrast that @metanoia's Jonathan Donovan provides to my own character. There are definitely some interesting stories to be told there between each of them.

I honestly haven't read too many of the sheets fully being 100% honest, generally don't do that until I actually interact with someone so I can refrain from meta-gaming. Definitely, a lot of familiar faces I am looking forward to the chance to write alongside again and a bunch of new ones I hope I get the opportunity to know.

Honestly? Yeah, I would agree with you there. There's only so much one can fit into a sheet without it being too much. You pitch the concept and hope there's enough to entice. It's only through brainstorming relations and plots do they truly come alive.

For example, the appeal of Dandy's murderhugs is one I almost want to let Johnny Dash be a test of.
