False Assassin and Angelika have already been planned to pair up in Discord as far as I'm certain. I would be open to negotiation, but I've already discussed False Assassin's identity as well as his initial plans with Floodtalon, so it may be awkward.
Ahahahaha! Applaud, applaud! That time we've wished for has come. All sins will be forgiven, all sins will be made.
Yes, to bring that time, to bring him here... This world has need for nothing but God, and yet this world lacks for nothing but God. Let us turn seven into five, evil into virtue. Fake shall become real.
Name Nicholas Stephan (Children's Crusade. A Gathering of 60002 wraiths)
Class Caster Attribute Man Gender Male Alignment Neutral Good
An absolutely pure child. A child who could see into the hearts of men, and who admired God.
A child betrayed by a godless world, an age where miracles were no longer a thing. magecraft If only if he did not have his talent with words or the ability to wrought fake miracles. If only if he had not been learned enough and smart enough to speak as one with knowledge of scripture.
An unbelievably bright child, an unbelievably devout child.
His life perhaps is proof that blessings can easily be the grounds for curses. That brightness indeed is what gathered moths to a fall.
Yet even with a bitter end that heart cannot break so easily. A corruption of that sweet purity has occurred, yet he has not lost himself despite the swarming resentment, pain and evil of countless evil spirits making up “him”. That iron will, that unshakable devotion was forced to choose its admiration or the world.
Naturally it chose its admiration. So his view on God would not shatter he instead turned to resent and curse the world.
Once there was a boy who saw that the people around him desired something.
Once there was a boy who believed in the power of God. In his greatness, in his goodness. A pure love, a pure belief. Ah, this god is amazing, this god is infallible. It was the mixture of admiration, of that like a child looking upon their parents, of that of a devout zealot looking upon their idol.
Such things mixed would only bring absolute belief. An unwavering belief that could not compromise. So strong and yet so kind. From the moment he was born, the moment he looked upon the idea of God with such admiration perhaps his fate was sealed.
The truth is hazy, whether it is Nicholas of Cologne, or Stephen of Cloyes who is the true tale of the Children's Crusade. But does it matter?
One day a child talked with the “savior. “ Although perhaps one should say that in truth what he spoke with was the hearts of people. The savior they had in their hearts, the savior they gave thanks to and held hopes for. “This world has yet to see true peace. The crusades and wars of the faithful hold good intentions but the way of God does not hold bloodshed.” The savior turned his back on battle, and yet encouraged the conquering of the ones who stood between the world and utopia. What people truly wanted was a world with no worry or hatred. A beautiful, noble and simple thing.
He could be the one to do it. He could be the one to bring forth the resolution all wanted. Everyone wanted salvation, everyone wanted peace and for the times of the savior to come. That was why they believed, that was why they prayed. The wish that all devout Christians, that all the people around him held in their breast.
A promised land, a promised miracle.
He could be the one to bring it forth.
So he gathered those wishes and journeyed to the land of sands. The children, on a similar standing with him, who were less guarded with their dreams and wishes, yet to experience the harshness of reality, the evils that God was said to protect them from were the easiest to convince. Yet his talent went beyond that. Grown men and women. Many followed, and many more gave their approval. Showing off miracles, speaking to their hearts. Only those whose dreams were deviant from man, or those who had completely given up unable to feel anything from his preachings.
Yet there was no promised miracle, no promised salvation.
Ah perhaps his mistake was that he thought of it as his act. Even if he brought the people together, even if he had managed to bring forth thousands of other pure souls… in the end it all hinged on God’s miracle. Perhaps if he had been a bit more eloquent, perhaps if they managed to get boats faster. No, to hope for the help of God in parting the oceans was his mistake...
Unable to reach the holy lands, unable to defeat the ocean and world, let alone convert the muslims. The crusade of children broke apart to human needs and evil.
Merchants swindled young ones and took them in, promising voyage but instead trading them into bondage for coin. Men and women betrayed and abandoned each other out of need as their doubts crept in to call them back after a flight of fancy in which they decided to believe in dreams. Those who were shipwrecked and never made it to the sands, those who turned back and found the wilds their grave, unable to be saved even as they threw away even their ideals for their lives. Those who starved, those who perished from misfortune.
The crusade born out of a desire for peace ended in death, misery and evil.
Looking upon what had come out of his life he could only feel one thing. Hatred.
Ah, was it towards himself? Was it towards mankind and their inability to keep to their truest desires, brought low by evil? No, what he hates was this world that did not have God’s miracles.
If only if he could truly see one.
Parameters STR: E CON: C AGI: D MGI: B+ LCK: E
Territory Creation: E
As one who wandered, never truly reaching the promised land, nor taking a utopia. Caster is a heroic spirit who never took roost or made a workshop.
Beyond bounded fields like normal and establishing a workshop swifter than usual like most casters, no special privilege is afforded to Caster.
Item Creation: C
Usage of magecraft and magical energy to create items. While it is called Item Creation the abilities of Caster in this regard are primarily due to his class container. That fact combined with the nature of hero he is causes it to be more along the lines of an ability that shapes (false) miracles into cursed items. Items replicating the common tools of the church, and mystic codes that are shaped by a miracle in scripture are possible. However due to the fundamental nature of Caster the weapons impose a evergrowing karmic burden and backlash upon use. The miracles wrought by mankind are but pale imitations of the divine and loving aid of he in heaven. There is no fruition in such a path and only tragedy leads at the end of their use.
In short, what he can create can be surprisingly useful, but potentially dangerous too.
The Children’s Crusade (Incitement Crusade): B++
An ability and unfortunate existence that’s been sublimated into part of one’s existence. A composite skill using the base of Caster’s ability to incite others, the nature of that incitement and his tragedy.
What should be the acquisition of words and gestures to lead the masses in a powerful mental attack, or the sharing of one’s religious fervor is colored by the misfortune of the Children’s Crusade. Jealousy, hatred, and lamentation are all collected without fault or ill intent, the faults and lack of miracles in the world given a target to blame, the anti-hero offered as a sacrificial lamb to those who live in a world untouched by God’s miracles.
The true nature of this incitement is to touch upon the unspoken desire, the wishes lying in the hearts of people that they do not stretch their arm towards. Passion, ideals and hopes are brought out from hiding. Yet the world is cruel, and not receptive to utopias or childish perfect dreams.
Like a devilish tempter, the child who brings out such things in the end only brings tragedy as no one is strong enough to protect such pure desires when they are exposed and brought out of hiding. It’s just how it is. But to acknowledge the world to be so is too cruel. So someone must be blamed.
Caster is a nexus of malignant information, misfortune and grudges, and is able to bring out powerful mental attacks. An additional + modifier is present when it is incitement based on one’s secret desires, and most purest dreams. At that level it exceeds a mental attack, and becomes an attack on one’s dreams.
One could say there is a resemblance in how it deals with the protected parts of the spirit in the medical software of a certain Buddhist Nun.
In truth this is not the story of a heroic little boy miraculously blessed with power and gathering the people to take a Utopia. This is a story of the ruin and sorrow that abandoning life to chase dreams brings.
Protection of the Faith (Masses):A+++
A skill that represents those who devote themselves or sacrifice themselves to a religious view. A sort of “divine protection” although in truth it is not a form of protection brought by an external source, but rather one that comes from one’s faith and beliefs. AN absoluteness of body and mind that cannot be shaken. However with a high rank abnormalities in the personality occur.
It goes without saying that Caster would have such a skill at a high rank. But to look at it further Caster is composed of thousands upon thousands of pure-hearted believers. Even in their resentment at the betrayal of their hopes, they are still those who are devout Christians. What's most frightening perhaps is that Caster has not only kept their ego and personality due to his own faith, but has incorporated the faith of those masses into his own.
This resentment and devoutness makes Caster a nexus of regret and yet continuing belief. What could this be called, but malignant information?
Demon Creation: C
The creation of demons. An ability derived from his nature as a heroic spirit. Rather than putting shape to mankind’s wishes, it is more akin to putting shape to God's miracles as people wish for.
In a sense it is also similar to the evocation of the Magic King who brought forth the 72 demon gods. Titling and giving shape. The form of the demons that he brings forth could be said to be a false sort of angel.
There are a number of similarities with the concept of utilization of Angels in the modern magecraft of the 21th century.
A fake saint creating fake angels with fake miracles. Indeed, the only one who truly has the power to change the world is-
Name: God Is Heaven - All The Right In The World Title: Fraughtless Mortal Life Without Miracles Rank: C NP Type: Anti-Unit Range: - Maximum Number of Targets: 60001 (1) Description
The only one who has the power to wrought miracles is God. All things that are good and miraculous are simply small shards of power passed down from him. The source of power of a saint is not themselves, the origin of all things wonderful is the one above all.
Ah, even the most devoted and faithful are lambs that can be misled. The heretical group that is an exception among exceptions. The Eighth Sacrament and the 120th Cardinal.
But Caster’s life has proven that no miracles truly exist outside of that of God. A saint’s powers did not bring peace. The wishes and hopes of thousands were betrayed, their lives taken due to the cruelty of the world of mortals.
The tragedy that is the Children's Crusade denies the status of men and gods. Only the one above all, the creator himself holding the right, and ability to change the world.
A form of tradition protection. Recreation of miracles, and miracles not originating directly from the God of the Universal Church is not something that interacts with Caster or enacts interference. Even the magecraft of saints and priests are denied, just as how the children were denied by the promise of a saint and crusade.
However, this protection only applies to Caster's body himself, and not any of his creations.
A powerless child protected by the miracles of God. Indeed, the battle with Caster is one of conquering the angels brought forth, and overcoming that false power of God.
Title(s): Protector of Novgorod, Dobrynya the Invincible, Bogatyr
Birth and Death Dates: Around 800-900s
Alignment: Lawful Good
Catalyst: The magic whip of Shemakhan
Personality: A hero of great courage who did not hesitate in battle, even against enemies on the level of dragonkind. Dobrynya would make it a point to always act in a gentlemanly and polite way, even towards his enemies, going so far to even extend his trust and word to a dragon by forming a non aggression pact. Despite his abilities he was not one to believe that he was always to be victorious, however he did not fear death and made sure that he gave it his all in battle so that he knew if he were to fall, then surely there would have been nothing more than he could have done. A man who wishes good fortune to evil, Dobrynya takes no joy in what he does but must take action all the same.
There was very few regrets that Dobrynya had about his life, if there was anything in particular it would have been allowing his birth into a peasant family to define him, for out of a sense of loyalty and honour he stopped himself from chasing after his love, the Princess Zabava who he fought so hard to save. This decision was made out of a great sense of loyalty that Dobrynya held, to his land and his people. A peasant could not marry royalty, for that would take nothing less than a miracle.
Bio: As a child, no one could have predicted that Dobrynya would have became the hero of legend that he would one day grow up to be. That was no one except his mother. While Dobrynya went about his daily life she began to have premonitions, of her son meeting his untimely end through various disastrous means. At first she shook these visions off as mere delusions, as nightmare. But they continued, until his mother finally decided that she had to warn her son. As authoritatively as she could she forbade her son from ever doing four things no matter what. These were; travelling to the Saracen Mountains, trampling baby dragons, rescuing Russian captives, and bathing in the Puchai River. This all, of course, only perplexed Dobrynya. For he had no reason to do any of these things and in fact they never would have entered his mind if not for his mother. That would be until he began to hear a voice, coming from the heavens themself.
The voice told him to travel to the Puchai River and to bathe in its waters, this of course went against what his mother told him. It pained him and his mother both, but to deny the heavens was something too grevious of a sin for either of them to consider seriously. And so he did as the voice told him to, even if he was riding to his own death there was nothing he could do, for the heavens had decided it to be so. As he bathed in the waters he tried his best to relax, to prepare himself for whatever to come. But he would soon come to find, that was simply impossible. For who could have ever imagined that the Great Dragon Zmey Gorynych would descend upon the River to attack the unarmed and defenseless Dobrynya. A man who was nothing of importance and had no reason to believe he ever was. Perhaps the encounter drove him insane, as one would think any sane man who found themselves face to face with such a creature would be shaken to the core with fear. But courage welled up inside Dobrynya and with the voice of the heavens guiding him he did battle with the dragon, following the voices guidance and putting every fibre of his being into his battle. Surely if he were to die now it would be a glorious death. But that was not what happened. Dobrynya overcame the Great Dragon and as he was about to end its life the beat cried out for mercy. Dobrynya did not consider himself a particularly good willed person, but to extend mercy to such a creature surely showed that the extent of his trust was far past approaching foolishness. As soon as he disengaged the Great Dragon cursed him and made it’s escape.
After his encounter at the Puchai River the heavenly voice instructed Dobrynya to ride to Kiev, where he would be made a Bogatyr and serve the royal family there. During his time there he grew close to the Princess Zabava, and the two of them fell deeply in love. However it was one that they would never be able to express freely to each other due to Dobrynyas station of birth. This was something that Dobrynya forced himself to ignore to the best of his abilities, always making sure that he was not alone with the princess, or at least was certain that he would carry out his duties and nothing more.
Dobrynya would regularly visit his mother back home, however on one occasion where he was away from Kiev the voice of the heavens again spoke to Dobrynya, telling him that the Great Dragon that he faced before had assaulted Kiev, and carried off the Princess Zabava with him. With the spear that was gifted to him by the Prince Vladmir, and the whip and horse that was given to him by his mother, he followed the guidance of the heavenly voice and made his way to the Saracen Mountains where the dragon made its lair. On the way however Dobrynya, guided by the heavenly voice, freed all the russian captives from the dragons kin that he could, killing all of them on his way. As well as making sure that he trampled upon the babes of these dragons. Even Though these were beasts that did not understand neither honour or mercy, it pained Dobrynya to carry out these acts, but after all he was carrying out the will of the heavens themselves.
As the voice of the heavens finally brought him to the Saracen Mountains, he was once again met face to face with the Great Dragon, this time along with the remainder of its kin. For this battle he dismounted from his horse, allowing it to run back home to his mother. For he fully expected for this battle these to be his final moments. But still he did not falter even once, his iron will forced his body forward to meet the evil beasts for three days and three nights, neither side was able to gain any ground and so the lone human warrior found himself in a battle of attrition with these dragons. But even so, it was still a battle. Dobrynya would not step back even once, and continued his onslaught with the heavenly voice spurring him on at every moment, telling him that victory was near. It only took three more hours until the battle was concluded. With the only one left standing at the Saracen Mountains being Dobrynya, with his spear pierced through the heart of the Great Dragon as the rest of them lay dead on the ground.
However this was not the end, the blood of these creatures only continued to poor out of their bodies, creating a pool that entrapped the one who slew them. For three more days Dobrynya was forced to save himself from drowning without a single moment of rest. And Dobrynya did this, as the heavenly voice kept telling him to hold on for just a little longer. Eventually the voice spoke to Dobrynya an incantation. Afterwards he threw his spear into the ground, piercing the land below him and spoke allowed the holy incantation. The blood cleared, and the bodies of the fallen dragons whittled away until Dobrynya was truly the last one there. Picking up his spear once more his work here was finally over. With the heavenly voice guiding him he found the Princess Zabava and returned her to Kiev, he would continue to serve by her side for the remainder of his life.
Weapon: - Spear - Whip
Class Skills: Magic Resistance: B Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affect. Dobrynya lived a life in which magic was prevalent, and in order to survive he was forced to combat such forces. Some of these being from the greatest of the Phantasmal Species, dragons.
Personal Skills: Bravery: A+ The ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. It also has the bonus effect of increasing melee damage.
Dobrynyas bravery stems from the anecdote of fighting the Great Dragon on multiple occasions. His first encounter with it being as it ambushed him while he was bathing. Unarmed he was forced to fight for his life, with nothing but his wits and his fists he beat the dragon down until it begged for mercy, fearing for its life.
Unyielding Will: A A Skill that represents one's extremely firm will that never yields to any sort of agony, despair or circumstances Dobrynya possesses great resistance to physical and mental damage.
No matter what battle he found himself in Dobrynya would never give up, not matter how unfair the odds were. Even against the Great Dragon himself he would not surrender, for three days and nights he fought it and its kin atop the Saracen Mountains, with no hope of victory in sight he still kept up his assault. Refusing to stop until either victory was his or he collapsed from exhaustion. Even after he slew the dragon and its kin his battle for life was not over. For three more days and nights, the same length of the battle itself, he found himself trapped in the blood of his fallen enemies as it stained the land. But still, Dobrynya did not give in.
Revelation: C A Skill to "hear the voice of heavens" and take optimum action; a Skill equivalent to Instinct, a sixth sense regarding battles. However, 'Revelation' accommodates all matters related to the achievement of a goal (for instance, choosing the most suitable path while traveling).
The voice of the heavens spoke to Dobrynya throughout his life, revealing to him the path to victory in battle and what was needed to be done save his land. The most famous example of this was above the Saracen Mountains, where the voice told him the conditions that had to be met to finally overcome the family of dragons that had seemingly caught him in a stalemate. Afterwards the voice bestowed upon him a holy incantation, one that would aid him in making sure that the dragons would not terrorize the land ever again.
The people on this list need to finish their masters and/or servants. If you need more time, let me know. But I will be attempting to start by the 15th. If you need more time, let me know. If you need help designing a master, ask me or Manythings. We will help.
EDIT: Here's your False Master. Probably not what you'd expect from a "False" Master, but...
"Another faker? It matters not. I will break you, like the rest...!"
Titles: Fuyuki's Second Owner, Black Meteor, God Fist Tohsaka.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Objective for the Grail: Like many other False Wars, Kenichi wishes to dismantle the ritual before it gains any momentum. Should he find out of the True Masters, however, his goals will deviate towards retrieving the piece of the Greater Grail and returning it to its proper place in Fuyuki.
Command Seal: Dependent on Servant I guess. Definitely has a lot of round shapes though :^)
Best described as the 'strong and silent type,' Kenichi has a substantial amount of pride for his family. It is because of this along with his fighter's spirit that he seeks out those who would wish to recreate the Holy Grail War, believing that such a ritual should only occur within the spiritual land of the Tohsakas as it has been established in the past. Despite his pride, however, Kenichi is a kind and honorable soul who will, at times, get out of his way to help those in need. A wandering martial artist who travels the world beating up third-rates and spellcasters, Kenich is a far cry from what one would call a true magus.
A child born between the union of the Tohsaka Master and the younger Edelfelt sister of the Third War, a lot was expected from Kenichi. As both Magic Crests were passed down to the young heir, it was expected that he would be the first of the Tohsakas to incorporate the Edelfelt's Magecraft into their own. Kenichi met this responsibility diligently, studying various methods of utilizing Jewel Magecraft along with his training in Bajiquan. Despite this, however, Kenichi only saw Magecraft as a supplement to his martial arts, and as a result never truly "grew" as a Magus. Despite this, Kenichi still tried to serve as a proper heir to the best of his ability, taking his lessons as well as his family's business with as much seriousness as expected of him.
Upon learning of the various "False Holy Grail Wars" occuring around the world, Kenichi was outraged, seeing these imitations as an insult to the Three Families of Fuyuki. Believing it to be his duty to protect his family's duty, Kenichi had set out to stop these imitators, using the connections and resources of his family in order to craft the proper tools necessary to deal with such interlopers. His travels have lead him to a small village in Russia, with news that another false ritual is being taken place here. Magic Circuit Quality: D Magic Circuit Quantity: C
Magic Circuit Switch: The feeling of punching burning coal

General Magecraft The basics that one would expect the heir of a well-established Magus family to know. Self Suggestion is one such skill that Kenichi is particularly practiced in as it is utilized with his training in martial arts.
Jewel Magecraft The general term for magecraft using jewels. Utilizing the attribute of 'Conversion' to store things like magical energy into jewels, Kenichi is capable of using large-scale magecraft without expending his own prana by storing large quantities of mystical energy into gemstones. Even curses can be stored into gemstones for future use. In Kenichi's case, he mostly utilizes jewels in order to strengthen his physical capabilities. Through the study of a gemstone's particular properties, certain magical effects can also be employed. Kenichi uses this concept of correlating gemstones to planets as part of his attempt to mold his fists "like heaven."
Gandr A magic passed down in northern Europe, recently obtained by the Tohsakas from the Edelfelts. It is a curse on the target that the user points at, inflicting discord on the mind and body. While Kenichi does not specialize in using this curse, he does show some proficiency in using it, preferring to utilize Finn Shots to deal with foes that he is incapable of breaking the distance with. However, it is not something that Kenichi can use extensively
Mystic Codes & Equipment:
Kometenfaust Black Heaven & Earth A black scaled gauntlet with slots made for gemstones to be inlaid, a gift to Kenichi from one of his family's allies. It acts as both an amplifier and a dampener for Kenichi's jewel magecraft, allowing him to use absurd quantities of magical energy from multiple gems while at the same time protecting Kenichi's fist from injury. Functioning similarly to an Azoth Sword, its main purpose is to prevent the slotted gems from shattering after being used. A mystic code tailor-made for the frugal Kenichi. It should also be noted that the gauntlet itself is sculpted from a meteorite, allowing it to be "aligned with the heavens."
Other things Kenichi carries includes a small variety of gemstones including at least one of each birthstone, a pair of glasses with reflective lenses used for Self Suggestion, a suitcase full of modest clothes that don't restrict movement, a nice and warm coat, and just enough of his family's allowance to afford him to travel constantly. Other Skills
Bajiquan A Chinese martial art known for its explosive short-range power, famous for its use of elbow and shoulder strikes. A martial art practiced by the Tohsakas, Kenichi is considered a prodigy, showing a terrifying amount of mastery despite his young age. By utilizing Self Suggestion, Kenichi is able to reach a point where his techniques could be considered "monstrous", his fists arriving at a state where they could be said to be two steps away from heaven.
_____________________________________________________________________________________ Name: Vladimir Moroz
Title(s): The Count of Russia
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Objective for the Grail: A strange wish… The wish to bring back the original Sengurochka, who was melted by the love in her heart.
Command Seal: Three Teardrops, connecting into the shape of a snowflake.
Personality: Obsession. A blinding obsession boarding on an addiction. It is a flaw, brutal, and unfixed. It is a kind of mentality that has a man turn to a single point, and chase it, ignoring the hypocrisy, or the much better options around him. But such a man is not heartless. Just obsessive, and through that, self-destructive. His tendency to get lost in his work has ruined his personal relationships with others, and it is difficult for him to open up to others. Outside of his obsessions though, he is a relatively kind, if cruel man. He is ruthless in his efficiency, and sees little reason to spare others pain and suffering if they defy him. It is not evil, it is just the way the world works. People must suffer if they transgress their boundaries for that is the way of things. Yes, even him.
Bio: Ded Moroz, the man the Russians may know as 'Father Christmas.' Sometimes referred to as a demon, long before the word meant something sour. Something evil. He was a hero who fought Baba Yaga, healed the sick, and created a granddaughter from snow. That is the story, and the legend of the Moroz family. The family lives in Veliky Ustyug, the homeplace of Ded Moroz. He was a wizard of the winter times, who would trek through the snow to bring gifts on the day of New Years. His legend is ingrained into Slavic folktales, and his descendents have followed suit. For some of them, they keep the tradition alive. Putting on a red suit, and traveling out into the cold winters. Placing gifts down chimneys, and leaving before they can be found. Some over the generations have even made claim to using their magic to keep the hag Baba Yaga trapped in her home. Performing the ritual required once a month. But Vladimir, the latest in a long line of Moroz’s is an addict to the old ways. As if it’s an addiction, and he drinks from it regularly. A member of the mage association, he was heralded as a genius at a young age. He proved his talents in early competitions, and married at the age of 23. If you looked at him from the outside you’d say he was an example of a perfect man. Loved, talented, and ingenious. Even teaching the next generation of mages. But, that is an outsider’s perspective. In reality, his research became a dead end. And his obsession to solve the problem cost him everything. There would be weeks, approaching months where he wouldn’t leave his workshop. Ignoring his wife and child who became aware of his growing instability. In a shocking turn, they left him, leaving him to his obsession and his ever growing madness. He became cruel to his students, ruthless, and eventually, he left his role as a teacher, so that he could focus entirely on his dead end work. Finally, with nowhere else to turn, he made a choice… The Holy Grail War. He would help fund the means to create a true war, and summon a powerful servant. One to turn the tides.

General Craft The Basics of Magecraft. Vladimir has spent a great deal of time into understanding the fundamentals of magecraft. Understanding, and molding it to his will.
Snegurochka Craft A variation of Familiar-craft, based around the myth of Sengurochka. The myth of Snegurochka is that of a maiden made of snow. Think Frosty the snowman with boobs. The story of Sengurochka is that of tragedy, and yet beautiful. A tale of a girl made of snow, who dies when she learns of love, and her warming heart dissolves her body. Under the guidance of Vladimir Moroz, this is the creation of a unique kind of familiar, closer to a golem. Closer to Volumen Hydrargyrum. This is the method of creating Sengurochka, a powerful mystic code that is rivaled by nearly none. Part of the craft involves the use of his own DNA, and snow that has been gathered. Performing a ritual, he is able to create a kind of snow doll, that can transform it's body to act and react to attacks. In that regard, each doll is his own child.
Familiar Craft When not making power snowdolls, regular familiars have been designed. Using the basis of the snowdoll, he has constructed less snow-animals. Though he has other ways to do this.
Golem Craft An advancement of the knowledge gathered through familiarcraft. It is the basis of the Snegurochka, and thus the basis of his greatest strength. It is the understanding of Golemcraft that allowed his ancestor Dez Moroz to create the original Snegurochka. It is possible for other golems to be made using other materials, but there is a clear preference for those of the Snegurochka.
Russian Alchemy An alchemy that finds itself less in the making of precious metals, and more in the making of life. An alchemy more fundamental in creating homunculi, or poisonous cocktails than in turning coal to gold. Poisons, acids, things that kill. Liquids that preserve the body, or are designed to undo pain.
Demon Craft Unique to Russia, but once upon a time, there was no negative connotations to attach to the word demon. To them, crafting a demon is the same as a golem, or a familiar. In truth, it is the making of a familiar into a demon that is the purist of Russian traditions. It is only the attributes of Christian faith that makes the demons crafted in Russia into something… Wrong.
Curses Slavic curses are performed through ritual, yet maintain a frightening strength. Curses that strike at the health, the well being, and curses upon the land. Curses upon the land to summon demons upon the property, or to reduce the will of those used again. Slavic curses, or more specifically the Russian variant, are particularly versitile in the means by which they cause misfortune. Each curse can be called “locked” which protects the user from having the negative energy unleashed back upon them. Using curses in this way are long lasting curses directed to cast great sickness, weakness, or to reduce ones wealth. Because of his standing as a mage, the curses he uses are of the highest, and rarest quality. Mixing traditional aspects on top of these curses increases their potency.
Crest: 8 Generations
Weapon: - Snegurochka 1: The original, if it can be called that. A doll of snow that is without a doubt, one made by Dez Moroz, but may not be the true original spoken of in stories. This snow girl has been passed from member to member of the Moroz family, and is considered without a doubt the most powerful doll of its kind. It can transform it’s limbs and body into razor sharp blades, that slice through stone and rock like a knife through butter. Or to move around like fine snow. This creation is one of the greatest mystic codes of the Moroz family, and some claim it was made using ice from the ice age. A mystery that makes it nigh invulnerable to anything but the strongest of fires. - Magic Talisman: A unique kind of Talisman, designed to protect the wearer against magic. In particular, this talisman is meant to protect the wearer against Baba Yaga, the mythical witch of Russia. While not as powerful as the one wielded by Ded Moroz, it is just a bit stronger than a traditional talisman. -Magic Wand: a Mystic Code used as a tool for performing magecraft, amplifying the user's magical energy to assist with spells and strengthen them. Filling it with magical energy allows for it to be utilized as a magic wand at any time to form magic circles and affect physical divine mysteries.
A well-traveled man whose own self-confidence goes well beyond that of hubris, Ulysses is a prideful man who loves little but himself. This selfishness is further made apparent from his Innocent Monster skill, granting him a layer of reckless abandon to his self-serving demeanor. Ulysses is the type of man to lie, cheat, and steal his way to whatever he wants. And what Ulysses wants is to bring his opponents- and all those around him- as much suffering as he can.
His wish is but a simple one. As a man living in the Age of Gods, much of Ulysses' schemes were thwarted by the interference of the Gods, being a man bound to his own fate. After seeing a world free from the yoke of the gods, where a man can make his own fate, Ulysses wishes to incarnate and live life once more, free from the shackles of fate... in order to further pursue his own cruel agenda. The world is getting soft, and Ulysses plans to shake it up a little. Bio:
A hero whose cunning brought the Achaeans victory in the Trojan War, and whose famous journey across the world in order to reach home is still sung to this day. However, this hero's legend is changed based on how the Romans viewed him. "Cruel" Ulysses, a trickster who used all manner of dishonorable methods in order to suit his own needs, has been summoned in the stead of his more famous counterpart. Truly only an incompetent magus would summon such a degraded version of a great hero, especially within his own culture sphere.
Strength: D Endurance: C Agility: A Mana: D Luck: E
Presence Concealment: C++ Class skill of the 'Assassin' class. Allows the capacity to hide one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying. The rank of Presence Concealment drops considerably when preparing to attack. Normally, this skill would have the rank of A+, but due to a mutation in his personality, his subtlety has decreased. However, while under the effects of Οὖτις, this skill has an effective rank of A.
Innocent Monster: D A skill possessed by Servants whose true history has been distorted by their own monstrous reputation without any concern for the actual person's will or appearance. As a consequence, the Servant's abilities and appearance have been altered to conform the specifications of their legend. Incidentally, this personal skill cannot be removed. In Ulysses' case, his appearance and disposition has been altered based on how the Romans saw him; a cunning scoundrel who would get out of his way to inflict as much wanton cruelty as he can. Because his flaws are accentuated in this form, one could say that Ulysses is but a "shadow" of the man he was based on.
Eye of the Mind (False): B+ A natural talent to foresee/sense and avoid danger on the basis of an innate 6th sense, intuition, or prescience. The accuracy of this instinct can be augmented by experience. The ability also grants an effect of offering resistance against penalties caused by visual obstructions. Due to having a distorted mind, his abilities of deduction have reduced, somewhat. However, Ulysses obtains a natural instinct to acts that would "cause the most suffering."
Charisma: E A composite Skill consisting of a person's charm as well as the natural talent to command or unify an army or country. Leadership skills increase, but morale of troops decrease significantly. While the Servant would normally have this skill at a much higher rank, he is summoned in a form that does not care for the suffering of his own subjects.
Aimovoros Nostos: A The personal skill of Ulysses, and a distortion of his famous journey. A skill belonging to an adventurer who had extended his own journey in order to sate his whims, much to the dismay of those around him, and an inversion of the Servant's fervant desire to return home. The longer Ulysses spends in combat, the more his sadistic tendencies and hubris become apparent. Damage increases as pain is inflicted, but the chance of escape for both parties decreases. Truly a representation of Ulysses' flaws, it is a skill more becoming of a Berserker than an Assassin.
Οὖτις My Name Is Nobody
Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
Rank: B -
Maximum Number Of Targets: 1
A conceptual defense based off of Ulysses' nature to disguise himself to trick others and a crystallization of the act of outsmarting the cyclops, Polyphemus, by saying that he was "Nobody", therefore evading and later outsmarting the cyclops from eating him and his men. It is a continuously active effect that prevents others from perceiving or otherwise sensing his presence, becoming one with the World by being "nothing". All matter of abilities to perceive Ulysses, including a Master's Clairvoyance, are ineffective while under the effects of this Noble Phantasm. Even effects that are designated to target a single person such as an Anti-Unit attack are unable to harm Ulysses.
However, this Noble Phantasm is nullified to those who know of Ulysses' true name, and dispelled temporarily when it is spoken. An almost fullproof defense that would easily bring a Servant victory in a Holy Grail War in conjunction with the Presence Concealment skill, it is held back mainly by its user's own hubris, who would mock his foes with hints of his identity while in the midst of combat.
This Noble Phantasm would also normally have the effect of allowing Ulysses to take the shape of anyone he's seen, but because such an ability is a blessing granted by Athena, whose favor would be lost from the cruel nature of Ulysses, this effect is sealed. The cunning mind of Ulysses crystallized into a mental room full of the countless tools he's come across in his adventures distorted by his sadistic temperament to appear as a sort of dungeon, a vicious place full of countless tools used to inflict suffering. From false gifts to refurbished poisons, and even simple items like burnt stakes and rope, these are the tools Ulysses used to bring torment to his foes in his long journey. As a hero who has encountered all matter of dangers from men, gods, and monsters, it could be said that Ulysses has with him whatever's needed to cause the most pain. Because Ulysses is how the Romans- and to an extension, the Trojans- view him as, this Noble Phantasm is an inversion of his cunning mind which allowed him to create the "tools of hope' to bring himself and his allies victory. Instead, he is able to create the "tools of destruction" designed to bring whoever he wishes torment. While this Noble Phantasm does grant Ulysses the ability to create and refurbish the things he has come across in his travels in a matter not too different from a Caster's Item Creation skill, he is unable to duplicate other Noble Phantasms or project "degraded duplicates" of them much like a certain Hero of Justice. Despite this, this Noble Phantasm allows Ulysses to turn whatever is in his hands into a "tool that can bring agony."
