In Depth Appearance:
Avery is slim, curvy, five-foot, and four and a half. Her body is lithe from all the dancing she likes to do-a healthy meal of ballroom, with a side or contemporary and jazz, hold the ballet. Her creamy skin and the dark auburn-brown hair inheirited from her irish mother, set off her amber eyes, which glow in the dark sometimes. Her skin is unmarked, except for the tattoo that winds across her left shoulder.

Clothing Style:
Avery likes to wear regular t-shirts, and sometimes halter tops for when it's hot. She mainly wears jeans and lightweight combat boots for regular use, and you'll never see her without her leather jacket. Her type of style is mostly whatever's comfortable, band shirts, and she really likes the steampunk styles.

Avery can be fierce and sometimes scary, a trick inherited from her mother, but is usually playful and relaxed. Although some people see her as never taking anything serious, she actually is just trying to laugh because she prefers it to crying. She is creative with how she pulls her pranks, as well as new improvements made to weapons and other items, and is very protective of herself and others when threatened, verbally or physically. She usually has many friends, but only a few are close to her, because she has had issues trusting people in the past.

Background:
Avery lived in Englewood, New Jersey until she was ten years old, when she moved to New York because her mother wanted a change of scenery (or at least, that's what she said), and had a job offer to be a tattooist. She helped her mother with tattoo ideas, and was allowed to go to her workplace after school. Her mom's boss saw no harm in letting her learn how to be a tattooist, and when she turned sixteen she was allowed to work there.

She has a two year old Doberman named Bellezza that she raised from seven weeks old by hand.

  • If you could, explain some more about how she is with each trait. Or at least extend it to 1-2 more paragraphs.
• Bio
  
  • Same for powers here, but just explain her life out a bit more. The bio section needs to be two paragraphs, anyways.
• Godly powers
  
  • For the powers, I want it to have some explanation of what she can or can't do. Like, how much fire can she manipulate? How much control does she have over it? Can she create fire or can she only manipulate already existing fire? What can she manipulate it in to? Like, can she form blasts, constructs and the like? If so, how large/small are they and how long can they stay active until time takes its toll?
  • For the high temperatures ability, I need a range of how hot is too hot for her. I get that she's Hephaestus' daughter, but there must be a temperature where it's just too hot for her. Even if nothing, I need some kind of explanation there.
  • As for the fire eyes, how far in the dark can she see? Is there a limit of how far ahead of her she can see? Also, can she make out things that are naturally invisible in the dark, such as a chameleon or those with the power of invisibility? Also, I need a decent explanation of how she turns it on/off.

Fix what I mentioned and she's accepted.

Raymond doesn't think very highly of himself. Neither does he of anybody else. He might come of as a bully, as he feels the need to 'speak his mind'. He is truthful in the way that what he says is his truth. He is lead by his instincts. His feelings, his gut. Unlike most of his siblings, Raymond isn't a typical cupido. He isn't a shining rainbow of love, or a sexual sensation, not a symbol of unconditional affection, not lust personified. No. But he ís a temptation. A dark one.

This guy will question your motives with a heads on tirade, whenever he feels there is injustice or dishonesty going on somewhere.
That's probably the reason why he felt so much resistance in his life and feels like the world is against him.
He needs his safe places, his habits, his retraite.

Background:
Raymond's father couldn't settle with any other woman after he had been with the godess of love herself. So in his life, Ray saw a lot of potential substitution mothers, come and go. When ray was six, he turned into a little black goat. That was when his dad decided to tell him he was aphrodite's son. Back then, Ray was still at the age of everything being plausible, so it was never really weird for him. Santa was still real as well at the time. When he was eight, one of his dad's girlfriends confessed to him that she liked to watch candles. And fires in general. And how they consumed everthing. An hour later, their house was burning down. The woman was laughing hysterically. They moved to another town. When he was thirteen, he found out he was the only guy in class having no trouble with girls. One of his female teachers that he had a crush on, was later fired for kissing a minor, which was also a student. His father didn't know who was the victim here and had a hard time talking to his son about all this. When he was seventeen, Ray got caught dealing drugs. His father told him that it might be better if Ray left for a place where 'he could be more himself'. Ray still suspects his father of meaning: 'a place where he doesn't cause any trouble'
And now he's here. He visits his dad sometimes in the holidays.

Extra: He works at the campus café

Not so well. Raymond doesn't feel acknowledged by his godly mother. As he doesn't exactly represent her values. Aphrodite doesn't give him much attention

Godly Abilities:

black sheep of the family: At will, Raymond can turn himself into a bull-sized ferocious black ram. Any form in between human and ram is also possible.

Hider

Aphrodisiaca:Raymond honors his middle name by actually being able to brew a lovepotion. But that is just one of the uses and forms. He can influence emotions of people through substances or objects. The requirements are: 1) he has to touch it first 2) then the person has to ingest, touch or inhale it. Could be hard sometimes. Could be simple. The medium for instance, could be smoke.

Tell me your secrets/ Come to the dark side: Raymond has an aura about him, if he chooses it, that makes people confess their hidden desires and fantasies. Their boundaries evaporate. It turns them to a more primal state. It starts with confessing what they secretly want. The longer they are exposed, the more likely the chance that they will turn it into action. While people are in this state, Ray can make a fitting suggestion that gives him minor control over their actions.
Most of the time he has it 'switched off' for the sake of normal contact with people. Plus on school grounds, he has been forbidden to use it.

Katalina has red hair that reaches to just below her shoulder blades, that she usually lets loose. It has a mind of its own, and tends to be more on the curly side. She has freckles all over her face and body from spending so much time in the sun, either from swimming or just being outside walking around. She stands at five foot seven, being more on the tall side, and has brown eyes that tend to look off towards nothingness. Kata likes dressing in various things, bouncing around from frilly girly dresses, to just simple jeans and an old t-shirt. She describes her style as ‘comfy’.

Katalina is of a playful nature, much like the sea otters that inhabit the ocean she loves so much. She has a quick set of humor and usually is good with the comebacks. She is athletic when it comes to swimming, being on a swim team pretty much year round. She was scouted for the Olympics at one point. She is a very outgoing person, who trys to make friends with whomever she can. She is also very smart, routinely making the honor roll at school.

Katalina is also known for being very out of the closest with her sexuality, and does not hide the fact that she likes girls. This has caused her to come into conflict with some people that are not so approving. However, she takes many of the insults in stride, ‘like water off a duck’s back.’

|History|

Katalina was born into the Hargrave family of Verona, the local groceries. She was the first and only child to her parents, so they spoiled her as much as they could, while balancing it out with an appreciation for what she had, while others did not have the same comfort she did.

Her parents signed Kata up for swim lessons at a young age and she took to them like a fish in water. She excelled at it, and soon was swimming as much as she could. She joined the local swim team and pretty much did that as her sport for years. Her skills got her scouted for the Olympics, but she turned down the opportunity. As much as she loved swimming and competing, she never really wanted to make it a career.

As she grew older, Katalina realized that she was not into guys like many of her female classmates, finding her eyes drawn to those same classmates. She soon came out as gay to her parents, and while they struggled a bit at first, they soon came to love and accept their daughter. They proudly hang a rainbow flag from their store in support.

Katalina took up cooking in high school, enjoying it immensely. She also took up playing video games at night, when she had time.

|Family|

The Hargraves are the owners/ operators of one of Verona’s local groceries. They always have the freshest produce, and even fresher meat. (Some provided by the Wilcox’s.) They are known for being honest, and fair with their prices.

Katalina lives in a lovely two story house, that while she doesn’t see as extravagant, others might.

Molly Hargave: Mother, age 45. Molly is a very lovely woman who helps run the local grocers. Very friendly and open, and accepts many of Kata’s friends as her adopted children.

Henry Hargave: Father, age 47. Henry, while a man of few words, is a very nice man, who always makes sure his customers walk away happy.

Bast: Cat, age 2. Bast is Katalina’s lovely two year old female cat.

The ability to manipulate and move water.

|Abilities|

What it says on the tin. Katalina can manipulate and move water. This does include making it so she has an air bubble underwater so she can stay under for longer periods of time. She can use water to ‘wear’ things down, but this is rather time consuming, and honestly, water whips are more fun!

|Drawbacks/Weaknesses|

Prolonged use of her power will give her nosebleeds and headaches. Too much will cause blackouts. She can not automatically breath water, despite what some may think. She can still drown. If there is no water for her to manipulate, she is powerless. She can not manipulate humans using the water inside them. (Not that’d she want to. Ew.) Her power does make her more weak to lightning and electricity.
