Do you think the reason Jesus Christ doesn't rise again is because we keep putting up crosses and he gets flashbacks on how that went last time?

I will never show empathy for a bigot or a man who believed empathy is a made up term. Simple as that.

A Separate Society

Other:
Like we discussed in the Pm, I left the stock section blank so you can search and use what you think would look best. I was thinking of a cityscape, fogged and in the background. The words A Separate Society fading into the fog. Something low color or grayscale. I don't want to tie your hands up too much, because your art work is great, and I believe in trusting the artist. Please feel free to alter the size/dimensions as you need.

Hey, sorry for the wait. I've been busy with roleplaying lately, but here's your request. I hope you like it. :)

How could you? q.q You got me right in the feels.
@Dynamo Frokane 7/10 I like it. Chill beat and the lyrics weren't half bad. :)

Hey, guys. I just wanted to let you know, especially @Exit, that I'm still interested in joining this, if I'm allowed to.
I'm not dead, I just sort of got close. I was in an accident... I'm somewhat fine, though. I got away with just a couple of broken ribs, some minor damage to my intestine, a shitload of scratches and a totaled car. At least there was no damage to my spleen, which I actually just got a new one of (or, well, a used one, really) a couple of years ago because of another accident I had as a kid (or teenager, whatever).

So, I'd like to join, if that's cool with everyone. Things might be a bit slow the first couple of months, but I'll try my best to get back into it.

Damn. D: I wish you a speedy recovery. Accidents are no fun, that's for sure.

I'll have a post up either tonight or tomorrow. My next post will cover the explosion and describe the affected areas which will include the soup kitchen and kick off some major events in the Middle Ring as well. Look forward to that.

So, do you want me to hold off from making another post? I was going to make a quick one reacting to @Symphoni, but if you're going to make one that will set off some of the major events, I can hold off from it.

Francis Coleman
"I don't like Cole that much. Or rather, I guess I don't know him enough to like him, but I don't think he and I will be close in any regard."

Cole and GRant really don't partake in any similar interests. There's also the fact that both of them seem to be totally different people. Grant doesn't dislike him, but that's probably because Grant isn't the type to dislike anyone. He just doesn't know Cole that well, and he probably never will.

Jason "Jay" Hunter-Darling
"I see him around school, but Jay and I don't really hang out there. I see him on Steam a couple of times and we've gamed. So, I guess that makes us friends."

Though not normally one of the people that Grant would hang out with at school, there have been times where Jay and Grant have partaken in conversations. Most of these, however, were mostly in Steam gaming sessions. Still, Jay always seems to give Grant a smile whenever they pass each other in the halls. There have even been times where the two of them have eaten lunch together; though, that's when Grant would join Olivia. Oh well, at least that counts, right?

Malcolm "Mal" Okada
"I think Mal's mother or father works with my dad and brother. I don't remember which, but I see him hanging around King a lot. They seem really close. We hang out sometimes, but not all that much."

Through their father's mutual profession and how Mal is always with King, Grant has run into Mal a few times. There's always a friendly atmosphere about him and Grant doesn't seem to have any problem with him. They have hung out a few times, but not a lot.

Ashton Michael Bryant
"Ash and I seem to be cool with each other. I think he enjoys my company, but I can't too sure. He seems to not mind it when "

Grant rather likes Ash's company. Being one of the more laid-back people he knows, Grant feels like he can approach Ash without any troubles of feeling awkward. Whenever Grant sees him at school, he always says hi to him. Unlike most, he actually takes an interest in how Grant doing. They share a common interest of video games, reading, and photography, so perhaps that is why Grant likes to hang out with Ash.

Alice Malone
"She's so nice to me. I really like her. I mean, she's one of the few people that I can approach at school without feeling awkward. "

Alice and Grant seem to have a really good friendship between them. She's incredibly nice to him and there isn't anything about Alice that Grant finds intimidating. Even though their interests seem to be different, Grant has no problem talking to her because she's always so welcoming with her smile and her kind words. Grant thinks highly of her.

Scout Presley
"Even though I don't talk to Scout that much, she's a pretty good friend of Olivia's, so she can't be all that bad, right? Besides, she seems to enjoy reading and writing, which explains why her and Liv seem to be such great friends. I wonder if she even likes me as a friend? Probably not."

Grant and Scout have an interesting friendship. She's obviously a lot different than him. She likes crowds and he doesn't. Despite that, there seems a decent amount of similarities among their individual tastes that forms, at the least, a friendship of understanding. Plus, she's besties with Olivia, so Grant has to have at least some level of friendliness with her. They seem to have a common ground when it comes to writing and reading. Still, due to Grant's insecurities, he often wonders if she, too, thinks of him as a friend as he does to her.

Richard King
"King and I go way back. We grew up in the same neighborhood, so I've known him pretty much my entire life. Before middle school, we used to be almost inseparable, but because of his social status with the majority of people and mine, we never hang out at school. I still like to think that he thinks of me as a good friend."

This is a tricky subject. King and Grant grew up together. It's not like everyone else in their age group. Sure, everyone went to the same school and grew up with each other in that sense, but Grant and King literally grew up with each other. They grew up in the same neighborhood. Their parents worked with each other, so they were always around each other as kids. As they grew up, they did so apart as time went by. Grant misses the days when they would be able to talk on a regular basis. Sometimes they talk, but not really at school. It's not because King is too popular, but just because they seem to be in different social circles. Often, however, Grant will catch King help him out if he's being bothered by the bullies at school. That is when Grant gets a moment of the good ol' days.

Nina Jelen
"I don't know Nina that much. She has a nice leather jacket, but I really don't seem to know her past that."

There isn't much to say about Grant and Nina. They know of each other, but they don't know each other. He likes her jacket, though.

Petyr Jelen
"He's Nina's brother. Like her, I don't know him either. He doesn't seem to be mean, though, but I never spoke to him."

Same with Nina. They know of each other, but don't really talk.

Location: Jade's House → Astronomy Club Meeting
Interacting With: Everyone

Jade had a few hours to kill before that meeting that she promised Alicia to go to started, so Jade had decided to go home. When she stumbled on up to her house, she took notice to the driveway. Her uncle's Harley was gone.

As usual, he's gone again. Jade sighed, walking up to the front door. Digging into her bag, Jade got her key, and unlocked the door. She entered her house and closed the door behind her. Tossing her keys to the bowl on a table next to where one would enter the house, Jade proceeded to walk upstairs, sluggishly might one add. Entering her room, she went into her bathroom. As she caught her reflection in her mirror, she now noticed that she was all covered in bloodied clothing. Her skirt was partially ripped on the sides, her shirt had holes throughout it, and her jacket, on the back, had a large blood stain.

It hadn't occurred to Jade until that one moment she saw herself in the mirror. Whatever she had done, whatever had happened to Connor — it was her doing. Whatever happened, be it what happens when she's stressed, agitated, or whatever or something else entirely, Jade knew one thing for sure.

"I have to attend that meeting." It was right then and there that Jade mentally decided that she needed to go there. "Better change and shower. Don't need those vultures to have more reason to stare at me." Jade sighed and went to her room. Getting a change of clothes, then a shower, and then she would go.

Lunchtime came around and Jade rolled into the school. She entered it as if she hadn't skipped the entire day. Everyone looked at her and she peaked at them through the black sunglasses she had on. Her outfit wasn't exactly glamorous. She had black of everything on. Her jeans were ripped, her hightop boots even had black laces, a black t-shirt with some kind of design on it, a necklace of some sort, and to top it all off, a black, leather jacket(unzipped).

She heard the usual whispers as she walked through the halls of Lincoln Memorial High School:

"What is she doing here?"

"Isn't she the one that hooks up with older men?"

"What a slut.."

And those are the nicer brand of comments she has heard every day. It's no wonder Jade's appearance as school was a rarity. She didn't need to hear those kinds of comments, let alone having to actually face those people. Fuck them, that's what she thinks of those bastards. If she wanted to get insulted, she would just call up Nina, or the vast amount of girlfriends and wives who caught her with their boyfriends and wives.

Through the valley of death, Jade rode walked, she found herself at the Chemistry Classroom. Apparently that's where the meeting was being held. As her hand came to the knob, Jade hesitated. She wanted to enter, but something was stopping her from doing so. What could it be? Everyone's prying eyes upon her arrival? Seeing Jay? Maybe it was the former, maybe the latter; perhaps it was a mixture of both. She knew that a majority of those in there, aside from a few of them, would instantly look at her and think 'oh my god, why is she here? She doesn't belong here?'. Jade could feel it in the pit of her stomach. She knew that everyone would judge her.

"Oh fuck it," Jade threw up the towel and turned the knob. She walked in.

And as she did, it seemed to be at the right time because Jay, standing at the front of the classroom(as usual), was talking about the eclipse. He had drawn some kind of diagram of some kind that to be tracking the kinds of powers that people were exhibiting(Jade assumes).

Glancing at everyone, Jade saw the whole gang. Everyone was present.

"Seems like it's a full house," Jade said aloud. It was loud enough for everyone to hear her.

Jade chuckled as she took a seat on a desk next to Alicia. "Jason, if you want the presentation to be proper, might want to add earthquakes to that, too, because apparently that's what I can do," Jade commented halfheartedly.
