Animal — Roleplayer Guild

Might add some more stuff like his attacks (not sure if you want that since it will be a long list of just him manipulating his flames, but I can add his favorites/signature attacks if you want) and maybe more minor skills might he know. But this is what I have now.

Hero Appearance:

Evan wears various costumes along with face paint, all of which are designed to look like animals. His costumes mainly reflect his bright personality rather than his powers. I guess you can say his 'real' costume comes from his Solar Drive appearance, which makes him more recognizable to the public.

Personality:

Evan is often underestimated at first glance, mainly because of the ridiculous outfits he wears and his small stature. He doesn't have that superhero vibe unlike other the badass superheroes out there, he is more of a clown than anything. Normally he is energetic and cheerful for the most part. He is kind to people even if they are villains. Although, he doesn't know anything about boundaries which would make him a tad annoying at times. Anyone who tells him off will succeed in hurting his feelings, but don't be surprised if he manages to somehow quickly recover the moment someone apologizes. He is very social and rarely cusses out loud, thinking he might get in trouble if he uses inappropriate language. 

His intelligence is somewhat questionable, he favors short and straight to the point responses compared to long explanations. He sometimes lacks the sense of danger, which can either prove to be good or bad depending on the situation. His mind tends to wander to imagination land whenever he is bored, just like a child.

He extremely dislikes it when someone hurts his friends. That is when he goes into serious mode and starts beating down on his enemies without mercy. He tends to do a little battle cry or name his techniques while he is performing them like in the anime shows he watches.

Whenever Evan is happy, he has a habit of hugging and snuggling the nearest thing next to him. Also, his entire body brights up like a light bulb for comedic effect. Not to mention he has a bottomless pit of a stomach, whether if that is related to his powers is debatable.

Brief History:

Evan is a second generation hero, born alongside with his twin sister Lily. Unfortunately, both of their parents are deceased due to their heroic sacrifice against a unknown villain. The twins were put under protection by the Hero Association due to the only heroic family member they had left failed to respond their calls.  Possibly because they were a low ranking hero at the time. It was no surprise really, the twins were born with their powers and were considered extremely dangerous to approach whenever they were together. Even more so when they were forced to separate due to anxiety without the other. It wasn't until they were sixteen when the sister did the unthinkable and ran away on her own accord to become a villain.  Since then, Evan's goal was to bring his sister back, so they can be whole once more.

Abilities:

Solar Manipulation: Evan's power come from the sun, allowing him to harness its energy to become a 'Sun Man'. Of course he cannot instantly vaporize those who come near him, the amount of power he gets is based on amount of time he basks within the sun's rays. So his power peaks when it is high noon. He is considered useless during the night or in places where there is an absence of sunlight.

There are various techniques that Evan has developed.

Techniques:

Solar Drive- Evan's physical body is coated with a thin layer of solar energy, which emits a golden aura or cloak surrounding him, giving off the impression as if he were on fire. This form makes him resistant to high temperatures from outside sources while increasing his own. So, he will be hot to the touch, giving him a fairly reliable guard to any unprotected attacks. However, that does not mean he still cannot be hurt in this mode. This form has two variations to it, one being a Full Body Drive and a Partial Body Drive. Both having its strengths and weaknesses.

A Full Body Drive is when Evan covers his entire body with solar energy. This mode improves his overall physical performance, which includes his strength, speed, and endurance. However, all of that power steadily decreases the longer he is in this mode. This mode only lasts for about five minutes. After the duration has ended, his entire body will be covered in various burns, depending on which parts of his body emits or absorbs heat the most. The ultimate downside of this form is that he absolutely cannot decloak any parts of his body or risk using up a charge. He can only use this form two times a day, with a recharge rate of ten minutes in between forms. Once he uses two charges, then he is done for the day because of the damage he receives piles onto each other. So, he prefers to use this form as an ace in the hole.

A Partial Body Drive is basically the safety version of his technique, but without the physical benefits it provides. He will still receive the heat resistance and increased temperature, but only on the specific body part he coats himself in. Currently he can only coat his arms and legs, including his hands and feet of course. Using Solar Drive on parts of his body rather than whole will decrease the damage that is done on himself. A plus side to this form allows him to perform heroic actions, such as carrying an injured citizen or ally from harms way without worrying about burning them. Another benefit is that he can use this form to last longer in fights because it drains less solar energy compared to his Full Body Drive. So, he doesn't have to worry about a time limit or increased risks to that. This is generally his go-to mode, as he can perform his next technique as normal.

Solar Flames- Evan's main source of offense. He can create fireballs, firewalls, fireflies, pretty much manipulate fire that is caused by his powers. Any preexisting flames will not fall under his control. The color of his flames will always be golden, making it very pretty to look at. The power and amount of flames he generates is entirely dependent by how much solar energy he has stored. When that energy runs dry, his flames will burn out. He generates flames through his Solar Drive.

Reserved Energy- To make up for his weakness during the night, he reserves a small amount of solar energy in case of an emergency. Limited in power, there is absolutely no way for Evan to properly defend himself in a full scale fight. The intended purpose of this technique is to escape and avoid any enemy confrontation during the night. However, it can be used to save a poor soul because that's what heroes do after all. Unleashing his reserved energy during the day will cause him to not have any left over for when night falls.

Pyrokinetic Flight- By coating his legs in solar energy (Partial Solar Drive), he can use his flames to propel himself like a rocket and take flight into the sky where he combats best.

Solar Beam- The most powerful technique in his arsenal, which also carries the highest risk. The reason being, he has to sacrifice his Solar Drive and remain stationary with one hand raised above his head. All of the current and absorbed energy will be focused at one point, forming a ball of compacted energy in his hand. When all of that power is released, it forms a single laser beam powerful enough to blow away anything in its path. 

He would have to wait a significant amount of time if he wants his beam to be effective. For example, waiting like ten seconds would only form a beam the size of an average sized arrow, incapable of piercing through armor let alone an inch deep in the human body. It will leave a pretty nasty burn though. Waiting ten minutes would form a large scale attack, powerful enough to pierce through multiple buildings and create a new road across the city. Of course at his current level, he can only do a one to five minute charge. In addition, he can only create a single beam. The longer he charges, the brighter his hand becomes, making him very noticeable and vulnerable to any attack.

Skills/Combos:

Acrobatics and Agility: Evan uses his small frame to his advantage by being quick on his feet and agile enough to be a slippery opponent to deal with. Although stalling for time is something he doesn't normally do, with his abilities being on a timer and all. He can buy enough time if requested, even if it means putting himself at risk.

Sewing: An old skill he has learned since he was just a child. Resulting in having his own stylish wardrobe. So stylish that he opened up his own little clothing shop. It also allows him to patch up his minor wounds whenever he has a chance. 

Precision: Evan required a lot of practice to get his flames/beams to hit a target. Even more practice for a moving target. Being able to keep an eye on his target in real combat allowed him to improve on his reflexes.

Possible Goals?:

-Top priority is to find his sister and bring her back to him. In order to that, he needs to be strong, he needs to be...a HEROOOOO.

-Next is to find out if the villain who killed their parents is still alive. If not, then he/she will be next on his hunt list.

-Last, but not least...he wants his masterpiece to win first place in a costume competition!

Other:

Evan owns a small clothing shop which is ideal for first time heroes who are looking for costumes. It also offers improvements and repairs for those who already own a costume.

Kaito



Kaito gave Lazarus a quick nod accepting his little challenge, he set his goal to beating Lazarus' score in the upcoming activities. With that in mind, he turned his attention back to those who haven't jumped yet. He decided to give some encouraging cheers for his classmates in the background. Something along the lines of "Do your best!", "You can do it!" or in Garin's case "Give it 110%!". He did not want to hinder their performance, so he typically cheered for them before they started running. After watching Meg and Hana, he felt like he had failed them because his cheers weren't loud enough to encourage the two. Regardless, he synchronized a thumbs up with Lazarus for their efforts.

The next person up was Garin, he doesn't look like the type of person who would purposely cause a scare, so he decided to just follow through with his warning. There was no telling what his quirk will do, so he took a couple of steps back as a precaution and watched Garin basically blow himself away with his own quirk, taking down a student in the process. Despite his newfound personality, it was absolutely terrifying of what his quirk is capable of aside from just charging phones. Good grief, how unlucky for that girl. That quirk is dangerous, better watch out for Garin from now on. Honestly, he was dumbstruck by the situation. Especially when one of the students who stepped up to protect the remaining group, scored rather low for the jump test right after Anna. He let out a forgiving sigh, knowing that this test was not meant for everyone just like the others had pointed out.

The next girl who arrived after Dante, caught Kaito's attention with her water jets. Quite impressive he thought as he gave her a thumbs up in return. Perfect timing too! He was feeling a little dehydrated anyway. Confronting her, he spoke out "Woah, cool quirk! Say, you wouldn't mind blasting some of that water my way would you? You see...I left my water bottle inside..." He trailed off at the end and scratched the back of his head laughing nervously, hoping she wouldn't be offended to using her as a drinking fountain. Oh boy.
