The brief, personal satisfaction at everyone's support that overwhelmed him did not last long at the sight of Dub's disappearance. He had been so caught up in the moment he had failed to notice him exit the door, a pang of guilt coursed through him. The bright, seemingly unbreakable smile he possessed faded a bit that Dub seemed not to fond of the whole 'Guild' idea. But what did he know of him? What did he know about any of the people around him? That would need to change if he was to be the guild leader, he wanted to trust those here right now and Dub.

Reylan was glad to see Karma appear to drop the Dub issue, though he feared he might have to have a talk with him later friend-to-friend. The way to victory was through unity, not jumping on the opportunity to criticize someone you fought beside. He was glad to have Karma's support however, his chant making him a little embarrassed at such a dramatic comment as Reyland laughed nervously rubbing the back of his neck. He cleared his throat "I am honored that you have chosen me to lead this guild. However, since we only have 5 people in agreement...we need Dub in on this too. Tomorrow I will draft a treaty for everyone to sign so hopefully Dub changes his mind." Reylan didn't want Dubstep to go missing like Aura had, he would have to convince him the guild is a good thing. Perhaps he could even give him the title 'Captain Dubstep' as a bargaining tool. For now, everyone looked like they needed some sleep "I guess until then, let's get some food and sleep off a hard day's work."

He spent some time eating his food as everyone else went to sleep, bath, or eat as well. As he ate, The new duties of guild master started to come into reality in his mind, the first being that they would need to recruit more players to get stronger. Once the guild was made, he would give that ability to the original members of his party. Silver eyes observed a pair of players, one seemed to be trying to console the other. Did they lose someone already? He summoned the embers of his courage from the dungeon, exhausted as he was, and walked over to them to introduce himself. His chest felt the familiar pounding of his heart as the anticipation of speaking nearly turned him around, but he was determined to do this.

Interacting with:
@mopsock17@Rekaigan

He took a seat next to Polak "Did you lose someone too?" He asked rather directly but with kindness, he didn't know how else to break the ice "Sorry, name's Reylan. My party just came back from a dungeon raid." His elbows leaned on the counter, his head turned towards both of them with a calm, somber look. From what he could see, they looked like a strong couple of people that he use in the guild. Initial assumptions were that Polak was a lancer and Fortuna was a rogue, but equipment didn't seem to have a locked-class in Talrae. "We lost two people before we even left the city, they vanished during the night. I didn't know both of them very well, but it still sucks y'know?" Now he was lamenting his own thoughts to these strangers, trying to find a middle-ground and releasing some of the stress he had been feeling about Aura's disappearance.

At the end of the conversation before leaving for his room and a hot bath, Reylan extended the offer to join him and the others in creating the guild. Numbers was strength, strength was power, so by adding them to their numbers they would increase their power to take on the dungeon and beat it when the time came. He didn't make them decide on the spot, giving the night to think it over and message him if they were interested.
@LordofthePies

Vocere smirked, his hand running through his thick black hair and giving it a small flick "Oh just a little, abstract sculpture. Something I know the people are going to love but alas, I can say no more." A flair for the dramatic was always his style along with an ego that no one else could touch. He seemed obsessed with gaining more and more recognition with the general populace. That being said, he was eager to get something done as fast as possible so he could return to his art.

He began to scratch the back of his neck as Valvius worked on the sword, the smith's plan for a bigger pay seemed to working "Listen Valvi, I really need this to be done as soon as possible. Start working on it now and I'll double your fee. Not a bad deal, right?" This sculpture seemed to be quite important to him, but it was not like he was without the funds. Vocere's worst paintings and sculptures often went for hundreds of zloty, and his best was enough to make someone very rich. That of course was excluding the expensive feasts he catered for the nobility and the exquisite clothing he designed and manufactured.

@rush99999

Emile's attention was focused on the Magister at work as Jacoby thought about the possible ramifications, surely he was thinking all of this over as well. His head turned to his friend as he spoke, a bit perplexed at the question he was asking. That was until he explained his thinking further and a light scowl appeared on his face as his right hand tightened in a fist "Abe could be the key to finding who our killer is...but you are right. Bradamante, if Abraham was brought back and went rogue...could you handle him?" His voice was kept low as well. Jacoby's sentinel stepped closer "I could stop Abraham but now without collateral. We will need at least three other Sentinels, along with their handlers, to properly contain him in the case he goes rouge." It was rare for more than two Sentinels and handlers to gather in one location, besides their dedicated barracks, as it was important that each Sentinel adhere to their designated district of the city. A gathering of these powerful defenders could cause quite a stir among the local populace.

Vey paced throughout the crime scene, making sporadic hand gestures to no one in particular. She appeared to be in deep concentration, likely going over what facts and information they had obtained so far. A lot of what they had were simply just assumptions based on the patterns, any evidence leading to the actual person responsible was non-existent. The sounds of carriage stopping just down the alley prefaced the arrival of the hood figures dressed in absolute black attire, a small part of the city's coroners "We have finished with our surveillance and examination of the crime scene. Treat our victim with care, will you?" You could hear Vey speak to the coroners, who lowered their hoods revealing a older gnome male and younger female orc, likely the apprentice. They laid down the tools they carried with him and began to carefully remove the body of Cyth from the wall.

@Assallya

Valtair smirked at the transparency of Assallya's intentions "If any information you give leads to the Blood Angel's capture, and subsequent execution, then I expect the nobility will owe you many favors." He lifted his right leg and rested the heal of his foot on the other. A number of the killer's victims have been petty criminals caught out in the night, easy pickings for the reaper of Volstryggr's streets. People have even gone as far as to believe the Blood Angel as a demon awakened to wreak havoc on the city.

A new development had come to you as well through your under-ground network, the Banshee was expected to arrive sometime this week in Volstryggr. It might have been expected as only a couple days prior you became aware of the youngest St. Claire sister, Helene, arrival in the city. Valtair scoffed a light laugh, nodding at your cooperation "That is much appreciated. Can I expect you to notify me should you come across anything worthwhile?" He rose from the comfort of his seat, looking down at her appearing ready to leave already.
Rath Drazkowski - Wolf 5

Like ants pouring out of their dirt hill, the BETA never ceased to keep coming. He could see the other members of his battalion make their way on the beach, which was quickly coming under their control. That was a temporary relief, the other parts of this operation were not going so smoothly. Gore splashed and blanketed the ground as his blade motor tore into the tank-class wishing to climb onto his TSF and tear it apart, his gunfire keep the approaching enemy away. 36mm rounds tore into countless enemies around him as fire from his other teammates came into play, they just couldn't keep out of the fun could they? Subconsciously he kept a monitor on the more green members of the battalion, just like the older members of the 211 did for him. On his radar, he could see two more friendly identifiers coming onto the beach. The heat of battle had left him ignoring the sound of the other members launching. Carnage had already been wrought on sea and now on land, the way of life under the threat of the BETA.

Major Kochenkov. He had avoided her like deadly disease since he arrived to join the 231st mostly for the benefit of them both. Zykova...that woman had distilled such hatred for Russians in him that he could hardly control it himself. However here on the battlefield, he could push that aside to complete their objective and listen to the Major, at least until the Captain arrived "You got it Major, a few thousand skewered BETA coming up." He lightly spoke just as his blade motor sank into the side of a grappler-class after making a side-wards dash, rending its flesh asunder. A glimpse of a Type-94 Shiranui came into view along with a message from its pilot before landing next to him, clearing a swath of tank-class. Rath smirked at the skill of his storm vanguard counter-part, at least he wouldn't have to worry about him falling behind "Roger, Wolf-3. Let's hope you are as skilled with a blade as your are with a gun." A light chuckle escaped him as he moved for the hill under Kseniya's orders.

He had been managing his ammo supply since he touched down on this beach. If that was an attempt at motivation, the 1st lieutenant failed greatly. As round after round was sent into the BETA mass, the laser-class continued their own battery assault. Suddenly a group of Tank-class were obliterated leaving Rath's momentarily stunned before he saw the designations on his radar. Wolf-1 and Wolf-2. The French-speaking angels, as he liked to think of them. Everyone's face appeared on his display as the captain relayed her orders, leaving the beachhead already? That could only mean one course of action and hearing those french accents was much preferred to the grating sound of the american, who had stayed silent thanks to his luck.

A laserjagd in these conditions? Well even with the increase in the metal cloud density, it was gonna be a wild ride "Roger." he confirmed his orders, moving into position. As expected, he was named for the front of the formation along with three others. Fighting alongside Kseniya did not bother him but he was concerned for Verena piloting a older model TSF, fighting up close required every edge you could get. The initial fighting had already covered his blade motor in a new coat of red. How many times had he engaged in operations like this on the front-lines? "Looks like we're gonna get to see what you can do in that Tornado, Wolf-9." He was surprised that such outdated TSFs hadn't been fully replaced yet, but if she was here then he expected she could hold her own.

The formation began its push towards the laser-class, Rath moving along the right side of Tanizaki. Zykova, I hope to see you in hell That thought warmed his heart as they came closer to their objective. His lungs exploded with laughter as Elise's mistake was broadcast over their comms, it was too golden to miss "Oh was that meant for private? Kochasz ptaki." he chuckled, hoping that they wouldn't understand him. They wouldn't get a moment to translate it anyway, as Holland called out the enemy. On Mina's orders, Rath moved forwards to engage the BETA blocking the path to the laser-class. 36mm rounds burst into the tank-class, then snapping to a grappler-class as it approached counting on his allies to reinforce him as the formation carved forward. This was not going to be the end for him.

Haley Anders - Wolf 7

Haley could only watch from the shore as transports erupted in explosions and flames, killing many soldiers along with them. She felt loss, she felt fear...she felt anger. These three emotions tore at each other while she continued to fire the two AMWS-21 cannons mounted on both her arms. Often she found her-self firing a couple more rounds than necessary into targets that were already dead. Dominic would never shown any kind of fear, she couldn't disgrace him by losing her nerves now. This beach would be taken by her efforts above anyone else, that was just how it had to be! That was why she kept maneuvering behind Rath, letting him death with fighting up close while she coated the BETA around him with hot lead.

Another set of TSFs from their battalion landed on the beach, the Russian Major and the Japanese 1st lieutenant. Kseniya didn't waste anytime issuing orders with the Captain yet to reach the beach, she would never take orders for a Russian! That didn't mean the others would follow her, no they were all moving on the hill to hold off the BETA's advance. Dammit! She grimaced and followed suit blowing apart a grappler-class as it tried to get close to Wolf-5 and Wolf-3. The captain was sure taking her sweet old time getting here, she hoped she wasn't getting all romantic with 1st lieutenant Allaire. The people of France did know how to attack, right? It seemed like her question would be answer with a loud, thunderous yes as twin Rafales made their appearance on the shore killing a multitude of BETA in the process.

The accuracy of the one was absolutely unacceptable, she would not have some Frenchie out-shoot her. Wait, did that order come through right? They had only just gotten the beachhead under control and now she wanted to abandon it. If they were firing AL warheads, then that meant they were going to be diving into the BETA's lines to perform a...laserjagd, her mind coming to the conclusion just as Mina announced it. She had only studied such an operation but had never been part of one, but it mattered not "Roger." Her part would be executed with precision and expertise flying low to the ground to move into position. "Don't fall apart before we get to the laser-class, Wolf-9." She spoke out, wondering why such a old model was even allowed on the field. Once more she was wished good luck by a commanding officer, what was with these UN forces?

The F-15C Eagle sped next to Elise's Rafale, weapon systems fully loaded and doing her best to maintain the strict altitude NOE flight required. It was no issue for a pilot of her talent, of course. She would not allow herself to crash and become food for those...monsters. The audacity of making romantic plans during a battle with the captain, was she so daft that she forgot to switch to a private line? Even she laughed a little along with the group, resisting the urge to smile. The battlefield was not someplace for such foolery, it would just get them killed. Her mind was taken off it by the massive horde of tank and grappler-class BETA ahead, one they need to cut through. The power of her F-15C was made to bear as all four guns fired, the initial shock of combat fading to allow her shot to hit to constantly connect and litter the ground with bits of BETA. The heavy rounds would be saved for the laser-class, they would taste her rage.

As Karma stretched out his hand, Reylan shook it without hesitation mustering a warm smile. He had been anxious the entire dungeon run, but years of practice let him conceal it very well "Well I focus on keeping us alive I guess, if I wasn't cool-headed I might give the wrong order." His mind seemed to let go of other distractions when people were in danger. Still, was it right for him to be at the head of the group? Everyone that fought was amazing. Did he really deserve the right to have such responsibility over their lives?

He sat his table with his elbows on the wooden surface and his lips resting on the top of his conjoined hands thinking this, silver eyes staring out at nothingness. The weight of his teeth pressing tighter and tighter as his doubt snowballed. He blinked upon hearing a familiar, normally shy voice call out among the noise grabbing his attention tearing him from thinking any more dangerous thoughts. Suprise was measured by his wide eyes as Aster spoke out in front of everyone and simply listened when he moved around her, his idea of this shy girl seemed to be falling apart completely today.

It started off shaky but it was clear she was putting her heart into this and it showed in the feeling he was getting. He often thought that he would rather do something by his own than bother somebody but now he realized how selfish that was. His mouth was left slightly agape at Aster's personal assessment...fantastic leader? His gaze lowered to the ground simply staring at the marking in the wooden floor, that was the second time his leadership was complimented. A smile broke out against any free will of his own as he raised his head once more. He had never been a leader in anything in the real world, never confident enough to give a try. Yet this could be his chance...his only chance.

Dirk was right. They got this far because they all contributed to the same goal. Not just to survive in this world, but to thrive. He felt the same way as Dirk, everyone that fought in the dungeon he considered his friends and his allies. A flash of determination sparked in his eyes and he rose up from his chair but not before Alisea spoke first. Stunned was not an adequate enough description of Reylan's face, he was at a complete lost for words. Both his hands started to shake almost unnoticeable to most eyes, his chest felt like a two tonne weight was laying on it. Three times the others had validated his leadership to him, he couldn't grasp why this was affecting him so badly.

He took a deep breath so he wouldn't start crying like a loser right now in front of everyone and sound like a emotional fool, bottling up such feelings was something he grown accustomed to yet a sharp eye could see past this. His eyes squeezed tightly for a moment, and when they opened he had strong look in them...along with the glistening liquid of tears that never fell. With his right fist clenched at his side, it was about time this so-called leader finally spoke, forgoing the stereotype of not knowing what to say "I will accept this nomination, as long as everyone else is in agreement." The strength of his composure was being strained today, anything more and he probably couldn't hold it from bursting "We have what it takes to win but that requires all of us." He stated with firm confidence, anxiously awaiting their reply trying to prepare himself if they said no...and if they said yes.

Reylan entered after Alisea and Han's greeting served to pick up his mood. Mighty Adventurers? He did like the sound of that. At least nobody was going after Dub right now, he felt like he was going to have to intervene after that last fight. Karma had surprised him with that remark he gave to Dubstep, it was kinda out of nowhere. Hunger had slowly crept up on him since the morning and now it was begging to be silenced, so he found himself a seat. Of course when he sat down he realized it was the same table that only yesterday he met Aura and the others. I'll find you, whether you like it or not he said to himself as one of the 'lasses' came over to him "Ah, I guess..I'll have the roast beef and a water! Oh! And mark me down for three nights here." Of course he would still get nervous talking to new people, that didn't change from becoming the leader. What it right for him to call himself that? He had basically just assumed the role when the dungeon started and rolled with it, he wanted Aura to be their leader from the start. It had to be a one time thing surely. Reylan hated to admit it but being the leader felt natural and he wanted to know everyone wanted him as leader. Before entering town, he told the whole party to send him a message with their current spells and actions so he could give better commands. After that, he declared that they would try the dungeon in a few days when they were higher leveled and were properly prepared.
@LordofthePies

Renal seemed elated to hear Valvius so committed to this, perhaps the draconian captain should have pushed him sooner "Of course, now that you have committed there is no chance I will let you out it now." A toothy grin accompanied a jolly voice, it was the best news that Renal had all day. Just a little happiness in the this time of dark for the old captain "You have no idea how happy this is gonna make her, Valvius." The time was coming soon that Renal would have to depart "I hate to cut this celebration short but I must retu---" His speech was cut off by the entrance of one of your stranger, more expressive customers but this man was a sort of local celebrity on the verge of international fame. The Patron of the Five Senses was his self-given title, as he was a near-master of cooking, tailoring, music, various forms of art, and even fragrant aromas used in candles and perfume. His mane of black hair was always looked full and tediously taken care of, while his dress was always unique no matter the colors or fabric. He was a man who liked to stand out in a crowd and the way he entered made it known "Valvi!" He energetically exclaimed as he entered, a bent piece of metal in his outstretched hands. After his grandiose entrance he finally noticed "Oh and Captain Renal as well? Today must be my lucky day." Renal seemed to see right through him "Sorry to cut this short Vocere, but I must be going. Bye Valvius, I will see you tomorow." He spoke courtesy to Valvius before leaving through the door.

While Renal's vists were always on a kind systematic schedule, Vocere never came at the exact same time twice and never with the same object twice "Lots of bark on that one...anyway Valvi I need you to mend this metal into a smooth shape again." He show-cased a curved metal plate with several large dents in along the surface and the edge of one curved the opposite way "I was working on a piece as usual but I made a mistake. I would mend it if I could but I figured you'd do a better job." He would talk and talk if left alone with another person, it was just the nature of his eccentric attitude. The opposite of Valvius one could say.

@rush99999
Emile eyebrows furrowed, perhaps holding back his anguish, as Jacoby replied with wise words and released the pressure he was putting on his face "You are right. Wondering why will get us nowhere when the twisted fiend is still lurking the streets." You have never seen Emile so fired up or distraught about anything like this before, even his father's death fell short to the anguish the young peace-keeper was feeling. Emile just kept looking at the dismembered and mutilated body of Cyth, how many more times would he see this before the killer was caught? The message was clear at least. No one was out of the Blood Angel's reach. No one could safely hide anymore if he was able to take down Cyth and Abraham.

The peace-keeper's head turned over see the magister for himself "Perhaps some answers as well." Meanwhile Bradamante simply nodded, not moving a single inch from his post. Sentinels were beings that acted like normal people, but had their own unique connection to each other. As Emile approached the Vey and the magister, their conversation seemed to naturally conclude "This is Magister Arcen. He will bring us to the missing magnus core." Vey said straight to the point as always. Magister Valtair loomed a few inches above the two, and with Vey's shorter figure it made it almost comical the difference between them "A pleasure to meet you, Global Peace-Keeper and his trusted bodyguard Jacoby Drexlehand." His voice was deep and nearly sounded as if two voice occupied the same body. Emile accepted his introduction, he just wanted answers "Will you be able to find the core?" He spoke with no reservations. The Demji solemnly smiled, seemingly unfazed by the scene behind the two "I have studied this artifacts for most of my life. I shall find it." He made his way past them and approached the un-animated armor. Bradamante finally moved, stepping out of the Demji's way looking at Jacoby to let him know he had made his peace. Arcen crouched over the 'corpse' of Abraham, holding both hands over them as a soft,blue light shone from his palms and his eyes closed shut "It shall take me a moment. A magnus core is a concentrated mass of arcane energy and this body is its containment unit. I will be able to follow the trail of magic once I understand its essence." He spoke almost quietly, clearly trying to concentrate. Emile was unaware that such methods existed for tracking these things, it have never been need so his interest shown in the magister's methods.

@Mystery Bard

It might have been a trick of the light but you may have caught a slight blush as Helene made her way to counter again, perhaps at the unrestrained way you observed her power. Vampires once thrived on deceiving appearances and sugar-coated words to lure their victims in where their overpowering strength could take over away from bystanders. The way the Vampire girl looked it seemed like she barely thought anything of it. After he had given his thanks, she did exactly what he asked and placed them back in their original arrangement before returning. When he had finally decided to answer, she listened intently despite the general attitude of his reasons.

She hesitated seeming not to know herself, but arrived at an answer anyway "It sounds like you are very passionate about your work." She first stated with a gentle smile "I guess you could say I was curious, my sisters are very strict with my education but as soon as read about the Elixir of Life...I just wanted to give it a try." She seemed a little down about it, what could it be that she hoped this dangerous concoction would do for her?

@Assallya

Valtair held up his hand and gently shook his head "Not this time, I'm afraid." His friendly tone did not cover up the seriousness of his visits, it almost always involved a question or two revolving around the Blood Angel. At this point, the casual formalities held between you two were almost a sort of small game before the real talk started. However, today Valtair didn't seem keen on waiting through them "I was wondering if any rumors have come your way about a magnus core in the black market." He asked the question like it was asking for a extra cube of sugar for a cup of tea.

The black market was the last vestige of true, organized crime in the world spanning the every land and loosely held together by money and blood ties. The largest player in the game was known as simply as the Banshee but you know her public name as Catherine St. Claire. She had met you only once before to establish a diplomatic connection, since anything you want she has. However, no rumors of such a priceless object has been passed onto you.

A large sigh escaped the archer's mouth as the sensation of relief overwhelming him, watching the large white wolf howl one last time before shattering into digital pixel-cubes. He nearly had a small heart attack when he saw the way Alisea's face assumed that form that she pulled off way too well. Dub had told them that he was a mage however up until now it seemed that way, but it was clear that he was a summoner which was a bit different. Reylan didn't mind at all so he focused on the joy of victory and the reward that awaited them "Good work everyone. Now its time to reap the spoils of battle!" he said enthusiastically as the chests were searched and examined. While he hoped for Renn, the 10 blackish-purple arrows made his silver eyes' sparkle as he took them. The rest of the loot was divided up based on who needed what and they made their way towards Area C, hoping to find more treasure and mark it as searched.

After that was all taken care of, he took the time to think about their situation critically based on the current situation. Dirk was nearly at half health, which was still almost three times Reylan's HP but with Karma's heal he should be good again. Aster in all circumstances out of mana but had remained unharmed, a testament to her own skill and Dirk's. Karma, Alisea, Dub, and himself had exhausted nearly half of their respective mana pools but have yet to take a single point of a HP...except for Totoro of course but he got healed by Karma too. With the way the game's setup the dungeons, they wouldn't reap the benefits of defeating this enemies until they left. The group may not entirely agree, but leaving the dungeon after this next fight would probably be the safe bet.

That white wolf made him realize something important. Alone that wolf would have killed him, that much was cold fact. The three wolf before would have killed him as well. Now the six black wolfs that came into view, they would kill him...if not for those by his side. Reylan was not strong...not by himself. With no more time to think, he had to continue doing the two things he could: shoot and give orders "Aster! Dirk! Up front now! Everyone else drop back!" He had to buy at least a little time to issue proper orders but before that could happen, he pulled two arrows from his quiver and loaded onto the bowstring. He held his breath as he picked two targets, and let loose a double shot hoping to hit two at once "Hold them off with your shield Dirk! Aster keep Dirk's Flanks secure! Don't let him get surrounded!!" They would do well to take down them quickly, it was roughly a one to one fight. "Alisea and I got the wolves on the right, Karma and Dub shoot the ones to the left. Let Totoro in on the fun too!" The orders were nothing complex yet marking targets was a simple practice in archery. Totoro would be a good damage-soak.

A third arrow was retrieved and loaded, pulling on the string adjusting for the wolf's approaching speed before firing a normal arrow. He would keep the obsidian arrows for a special occasion, that and they were bound to be more expensive than his standard ones. As the wolves approached closer, he prepared to switch to his rapier in case they got close to defend better against an attack. He felt less 'squishy' than before, but didn't like his chances in one-on-one combat. Dirk, however, was certainly living up to the attitude in which he carried himself.
