Jack got into the passenger seat of the car and just listened to Megan's words as she spoke fully of what exactly happened at the park. There wasn't much else he could really do at the moment, as he just sat back, thinking about her words. There was a lot that was racing through his head as he tried to think about how to potentially explain what it was that she was describing in a rational way. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to come up with a logical explanation. How do you explain someone teleporting? You can't unless the guy had some device that was super advanced that could do it, but that probably wasn't likely.

"...I guess if there isn't any other explanation it is entirely possible... And the only way we'll find out is by heading there. I'll tag along with you Meg, I'm more then a little bit curious as to what's going on, and what the hell even happened at the park. We'll figure this out one way or the other, and we'll find the truth, okay?" he said to her, giving her a smile before he glanced back out the window. "Wonder what he knows about us..."

"Eh, the ground isn't that bad you know. It's only bad after it's rained or something like that, then it is really cold and uncomfortable. But I understand the need for a chair," she said with a slight shrug as she leaned up against the dumpster now, petting the small puppy that she was still happily holding in her arms. This girl certainly was a bit weird in her mind. "Eh, I only have a small place, gotta steal stuff to keep myself off the streets you know. It's small but eh, it works and is better then hanging around on the streets all day. Was done with that sort of thing years ago."

Rosalia raised an eyebrow when she heard about that girl who annoyed her to no end from earlier. "Why the hell would I care about what's going on with her? She's a rich prick who if she's dead in my opinion deserved it." The smell from the dumpster was not the best, and the girl there didn't smell the best either, and a thought crossed her mind, and she figured she might as well. The girl was a lot like herself, even though she hated to admit it. "Hey listen, if you have no where to go, you can come to my apartment if you want an actual shower, though you might have to settle for crashing on the floor if you wanted to. Don't have to but you can if you want to."

"I'm fine! And would you stop it with zapping me and whatnot? I know what I'm doing whether you think that or not! Seriously, stop freaking out or whatever!" Andrew said, sounding more then a little bit annoyed with Watts at this point. The fact that the guy seemed to not trust any sort of thing that he did, and it was starting to get somewhat annoying at this point. How the hell could anyone stand to be around this guy at all? Seriously why was he even with the others since it sounded like he didn't get along with people.

Then of course, came the explosion of sorts that slammed into him, knocking him down to the ground. Watts lucked out somewhat, as the ice that Sapphire had hit him with didn't seem to be slowing him down at all, and he got a few burns from the explosion that healed fairly quickly, and the injury from the ice was a little slower, but was almost healed. Sometimes it paid to be a speedster clearly. Unfortunately, Andrew wasn't that lucky as he slammed into the ground, having been hit by the full force of the explosion. His suit instantly started sparking like crazy from the impact, and there seemed to be a small fire of sorts that was sparking on his arm again, which he instantly set to work trying to put out, blowing on the small flame before it eventually puttered out. "...Fires and sparks, never a good thing like when the splicer blew up," he muttered somewhat, not even paying attention to what he was saying before he turned to look at Elara who had raced over to them. "Oh, I'm fine, don't worry... Just a few burns and what not, pretty sure my suit isn't going to blow up yet so that's something..." he said as he stood up off the ground, accepting Elara's help.

"Okay, definitely getting a bit annoyed by the fact that this guy," Sapphire said with an eye roll, glaring more or less towards Longshot who was getting up off of the ground, though it was obvious that he was a little unsteady on his feet, but he was up fairly quickly. He had a watch or something on his wrist that he instantly started messing with for a moment, but who knows what it was that he called or something, as he instantly sent more shurikens flying at the group. One sliced through Sapphire causing her to stumble back as it embedded itself into her shoulder. "Beep..." she muttered under her breath as her words were censored.

Another shuriken hit Elara's shoulder, but any further to her right and it would have hit her neck and probably would have decapitated her. Casey got one embedded in her leg, and Arthur took one to the right shoulder. The shurikens were really starting to get on Sapphire's nerves, but that wasn't the only trick up his sleeve it seemed, as he pulled out a gun of sorts and fired a shot straight at Belladonna, it seemed to be an energy blaster of sorts as the blast slammed into her stomach, causing burns on her stomach, which would be somewhat painful for her.

"Okay, no more playing nice," she muttered as she sent ice flying at him. Her first ice daggers just missed him entirely, and hit the ground behind him. Sapphire's next shot however was a dead on bulls-eye of sorts, and slammed straight into his shoulder, knocking him backwards again. "You really should learn how to stand down!"

"Nah, that wouldn't be any fun now would it?" he responded with a bit of a laugh, standing up and yanking the dagger out, it bled for a moment before it clearly started healing.

"...You have got to be kidding me, he has regenerative healing too????"

Flynn's eyes went a little wide when Cass and Bonnie disappeared with the freaking dog and the girl who shot them from the sky. That was not okay in his mind. It took a moment for him to grasp where exactly they went, and he was still not too thrilled at the fact that they had just transported them somewhere without really telling them all too much as to where they went. After all, the group getting split up in any sort of capacity was never a good thing, ever. That was literally the one thing you never really wanted to do, so this was going to be interesting.

He managed to bite back a few other words he wanted to snap at Medusa about the entire situation. However, he managed to stop himself from saying anything insane or stupid considering the fact that at this point it didn't seem to be worth the breath. Especially considering the fact that he knew that it was very hard to get anyone like that to change at all. Flynn followed along after the others towards the quinjet, listening more then anything to what Tinley was saying, since that was distracting him somewhat from the question in his mind as to what the hell was even really going on with Cass and Bonnie on Earth.

Sparky wasn't too sure what to even really think regarding everyone snapping and arguing somewhat around her about what the hell seemed to be going on. They had to deal with the Black Order, since if they didn't Earth likely would end up as battered as Attilan was. She was kind of glad that Tinley seemed to not like the idea of sticking around on Attilan. Raynor didn't seem all too thrilled to even be on the moon or in the Inhuman city or whatever and seemed like he was hell bent on leaving, not really to go after the Black Order or anything, but to just leave.

That caused another thought to resurface in her mind as she followed the others towards the Quinjet, and she glanced down at her hands somewhat, and figured that it was better to admit something as opposed to hiding it and them figuring it out later. Taking a deep breath, she raced to catch up to Raynor, and walked along next to him. "Uh... Hey Ray? There is something I need to tell you..." she said softly, looking at him. "...I'd show you but the problem is that the terrigen mists are bad... But I'm starting to have the first signs of M-Pox..." she told him, keeping somewhat quiet so that he was the only one who'd really be able to hear her.

Zelda wasn't entirely sure immediately as to where Paige wandered off too, however listening for a moment she heard Paige's voice coming from a nearby compartment, and it sounded like she was talking to Barnaby. Alright, if she was in a compartment then at least she (hopefully) would be staying out of trouble. That's just what they needed, was her managing to get in trouble and start off the school year with a detention. That would have been somewhat funny, but she also knew that it probably wasn't the best thing in the world for her to be doing all things considering. Well, at least for the moment she didn't have to worry about Paige causing any sort of trouble, so with that last thought, she slipped back into her original compartment and sat down, dismissing the charm that she had cast only a few minutes ago.

She shrugged slightly towards Andre, "Well she's now gone off into a different compartment, so at least for the moment she's going to be staying out of trouble... I hope anyway..." she said with a shrug towards him as Goose instantly jumped up onto her lap, starting to purr again like crazy. Zelda sat there, petting her cat gently, just more or less waiting to see if the Aurors showed up at their compartment soon. She mainly just wanted to get this sort of thing over with, as she didn't want to have to deal with her parents being on the train any longer then possible.

"You want to know the honest truth?" Sapphire asked Arthur as she turned to look at him when he questioned Watts somewhat. "The answer is a definite yes, he's always like this, and you get used to it after a while and learn to more or less tune him out until he actually says something intelligent that isn't insulting everyone else around him. You'd think with his brains he'd be able to come up with better insults or better ways to essentially try and prove that he's better then everyone else," Sapphire said with a shrug, before turning back to look at the robot that fell to the ground. "Okay, going to be blunt, does this guy have 9 lives or something? Since he should not have landed that nicely on the ground without getting crushed by that robot!"

Andrew shrugged slightly at Elara's words, before he seemed to think about something, a confused expression appearing on his face. "...I don't think Watts cared much for me messing around with things in the lab..." he said, before he stumbled backwards slightly from a sudden headache that came out of nowhere. It wasn't something he had been expecting, and what he said to Elara he wasn't even sure whether it was true, or why he had said it. Things were just getting way too confusing in his mind, that much was obvious.

"I think we should have less talking and more dealing with the guy who wasn't crushed by the robot like he should have been!" Sapphire said, Longshot seemed to more or less be unharmed aside from the knife that Evelyn had managed to hit him with. She instantly threw another group of ice daggers at him, but then something seemed to happen as the daggers suddenly seemed to almost swerve around Longshot and headed straight for someone else, Watts. Unfortunately for him, the ice came too quickly for him to be able to dodge it as one of the daggers went straight into his left leg, and it was now stuck there. "Sorry Watts!" Sapphire called out to him, not all too sure what else to say regarding the whole thing.

Longshot didn't really say anything to the group, smirking slightly at the group before he pulled out a few shurikens out of a belt pouch that he had, and instantly started throwing them. One of the weapons curved around and just barely missed Arthur's head, literally just passing by his ear. Another one would slice into Evelyn's left shoulder, and one more would hit Elara in the leg, cutting into her. The last one seemed to be going rather fast and it slammed into Andrew's arm, managing to cut into his suit, which was now starting to spark as it seemed like Longshot might have hit something important.

"...This is probably not the best situation of sorts to be in," Andrew muttered under his breath, before he started messing with the sleeve of his suit to try and get it to stop sparking. After a few moments, he managed to get it to stop sparking so much, after essentially blowing out a small fire that had seemingly started on the suit and he shook his arm to try to get it to stop even more. "Sparks are never a good thing."

Bethany
The Silver Surfer turned his head towards the sound of Bethany's voice, and he tiled his head to the side as he seemed to ponder her words. Suddenly in a flash, he was standing in front of her, "Unfortunately, that is not my choice to make. Sadly, it is my job to ensure that no one disrupts my master's plan. I apologize, but you may not interfere with that. I tend to try and lead him to uninhabited planets, but this time he would not be dissuaded from Earth, so once more, I apologize, but this is not something you can prevent, you have to get through me in order to do it." With those words, he put his hand on Bethany's shoulder, she'd feel a strange jolt of electricity almost, more like a static shock then anything, but that was it. He then moved his hands swiftly and she ended up getting thrown backwards, back through the door that she had entered the room from and ended up on the ground back where she started.

“Brace yourself, young warriors - we are nearing the belly of this intergalactic beast!”

"...So that is not a good thing, at all... Wait, if the Silver Surfer is here... Then what the hell is everyone on Earth doing? Weren't they supposed to draw him out hopefully or something? Unless he was able to take them all out easily, or clone himself or something, then why is he here if they were supposed to draw him out?" Lance asked, glancing back at the others now, not too sure what to think about all of that. This guy was not supposed to be there, he was supposed to be back on Earth, this certainly was going to cause some problems.

They at least knew that he was in there, so they could be prepared for the fact. Problem was that the instant that door opened, the Surfer would know that they were there, that was an unavoidable fact. They couldn't stop that, and they would need to proceed with caution through that door. "Alright, let's do this then, we can't put it off much longer, and we've got to deal with the Surfer, at least we know he's there, so brace yourself for a fight I guess. Let's hope for the best, and probably expect the worse..."

With those last words, he flew up to where the door was, looking at it, and after messing with it for a few moments, the door popped open. The instant that it did, he ducked inside behind a nearby console of sorts. Luckily for him, it didn't seem like the Surfer noticed him, as he seemed to be looking more directly at a different door now.

"I'm not sure that this is going to end well..." Mary muttered as Bethany more or less disappeared from view to try and scout out the room in front of them. This was not a good situation, and it could likely end up killing them or something if they weren't careful at this point. Her mind was racing to try and come up with something, before it seemed like just an instant later Bethany was being thrown back out into the hallway despite having gone onto the other side of the room. That wasn't concerning at all, as she looked into the room and saw that the Silver Surfer was staring right at them.

"You should leave while you have the chance to," he said simply, looking over at the group as he was partially floating on his silver surfboard (if it wasn't obvious as to how he got his name).

"Yup, you all are so completely screwed!" the voice in the back of her mind taunted, but Mary shook her head slightly to get it out of her mind, or to more or less try and ignore it. Right now they were stuck in a situation that could cause them a lot of trouble. Warlock had said that he could potentially be reasoned with, but based on the fact that Bethany was thrown back out of the room from the otherside over to where they were, that likely wasn't going to happen all too much.

"Are you okay Bethany?" Mary asked her, before turning her attention towards the Silver Surfer again. How the hell were you supposed to reason with him? This was not an easy situation to be in, but it seemed like Warlock had a few things to say.

"Self friend Surfer Man! New self friends need the device in the room!"

"Unfortunately Warlock, I cannot let that happen. No one is getting the device, it is much too powerful to be in any one person's hands. Especially humans, Galactus himself even stays far away from it."

"Oh."

"If they wish to obtain the device, then as I mentioned to their other companion, they will have to go through me."

"...You know I was really hoping we could avoid fighting or something, but it doesn't sound like we are going to be able to, but that was kind of predictable I suppose," Mary said, as she messed with the suit slightly, before she managed to get a few plant seeds out of her pocket, and the seeds turned into vines that wrapped around her right arm, and she looked at the Silver Surfer. "Guess we'll have to do this the hard way."

Anyone who drank the water would find that all of the injuries they had sustained by being thrown around by a telepathic gorilla would disappear, any pain that they had would suddenly be gone as if almost by some form of magic. Seemed like the trees were fairly nice, and one of them shook their head in response to what it was that Iris asked them, and if trees could look annoyed, the tree that seemed to be the leader of them definitely seem annoyed. "I am Grooooooooooooot," it responded to her.

"...Okay, never thought I'd ever see what would appear to be a tree of all things sounding annoyed, but that tree sounds annoyed," Mira commented, and she could not blame the tree. Iris was still getting on her nerves and needed to learn to be quiet, and not to ask for things when they clearly were already being helpful enough with giving them stuff for their injuries, and Iris decided to ask for more? She said she didn't mean to sound selfish, but that was exactly what seemed to be happening at this point in time.

Hearing Neil's comments, she thought for a moment, and knew that it did make sense. However what were the odds of that? Not to mention they couldn't get that lucky could they? The device couldn't be that close to where they had started, they hadn't even really moved too far through the ship at all. "...I mean, it would make our job a little easier if the Nullifier was on the other side of that door... But would really be that lucky? No idea... Anyway, guess we'll find out then won't we? Thank you for your help," she said, before nodding her head towards the trees.

The trees nodded their heads at the group, before they more or less disappeared among the non-moving trees in the jungle area. Mira instantly headed for the door, working at getting it opened. "Alright, going to be blunt, if we did luck out and the Nullifier is on the other side of this door, the instant this door pops open duck down off to the side, and be quick about it, since if there was anyone else in that room, they might notice us so do not hesitate to duck down... We don't know what's on the other side of this door, and knowing this entire team's luck it is something horrible," Mira said, the urgency in her words stuck out, despite the fact that she was partially whispering them so the others would barely be able to hear her as the door popped open, allowing them into the room.

"Don't you think I don't know that this is a bad situation? I've had a really really bad day from a lot of things, including hearing about that. I mean, yeah I know it isn't the best situation but maybe it won't end badly at least try and stay optimistic!" Jack said, looking at his brother. He wasn't too sure what to even say in response other than that.

Casper clasped his heads together and swayed to one side slightly. “Okay, positive, positive....” He blew a raspberry. “At least dear old dad doesn’t need to pay for Dave’s treatment now.”

"...Well at least your dad, and Dave's and Val's, hasn't actually tried to kill you..." he commented, saying nothing else after that, looking down at the ground and shoving his hands into his pockets.

Casper nodded, spinning around slightly. “True, he hasn’t tried to do that today - I should go remind him!”

"...Sometimes you are so blissfully unaware of what's going on around you, sometimes I find it amusing... Because unlike you, my dad has tried to kill me today, he's tried to kill a lot of people today... Because for once in my life I envy you for having Xavier for a father, since my dad, of all people, turns out to be Mister freaking Sinister. And no, I'm not joking, I am being dead serious."

“....How do you know?” Casper asked, insanely confused. “You don’t even like capes.”

"I just do okay? You know what? Forget I said anything alright? It doesn't matter, let's just get to my office and away from here, I really need a cup of coffee at this point, and maybe some donuts too," Jack said, shaking his head slightly at Casper before he started walking along again.

"Well I didn't expect Xavier to show up," Sapphire commented. She actually had never really met the man, only once or twice in passing, as she had never gone to the mansion or attended his school. Cyclops was something similar, and someone she had never met. However she had heard more then a few stories over the years, considering when she was with X-Factor at one point and Gambit would on occasion more or less rant about some of the insane things that had happened with the X-Men over the years, and that was about it. This was not something she had expected, especially considering the fact that she just found out that Xavier was coming. No one said anything about Cyclops tagging along too.

Glancing over as she saw Xavier heading towards the dining room, she wasn't too keen on heading that way either, and she moved towards Veil for a moment. "Hey, I'm going to head back upstairs to see how people are doing up there," she said to her friend, before she walked over, grabbed a beer, and headed upstairs after Cyclops as she popped the drink open and took a drink of it. This was shaping up to be one crazy day, that was for sure, though the real reason she was heading upstairs was to see what Havok's reaction would be to seeing his brother show up to the Underground.

Marygold Isley

Location: Flying Ship

To say the least that the ship was amazing looking was more then a little bit of an understatement, considering the fact that they were going to be stuck on board the ship for a little while didn't make her feel any better about everything though. Mary preferred to stay on the ground for the most part, not caring all too much for flying, especially considering the fact that her mother was more or less the goddess of the Earth. So why would she want to be flying through the air when being on the ground was more comfortable? It made sense to go by air though, since it was a lot quicker.

Hearing Leda come up by her, she turned to look at her friend giving her a bit of a smile. "It'll be fine Leda... Try to stay a little bit positive okay? I'm not all for having the younger kids on this mission, I'll be blunt, but try not to be a downer okay? We don't want to freak them out or something okay? It might cause more problems then it would help," she whispered to her, leaning over slightly so that she could hear her. Then she heard the comment about a tour, and she stood up straight and looked at the others. 'I'm all for a tour, let's go!"

Jason Gauger

He wasn't too sure how stable the ship was, and he wasn't too thrilled about how steady the rope ladder was when he climbed up it. Once on board, he more or less just looked around the ship, not too sure what to really do now. He didn't really know everyone else that he was with, having just really met everyone else the day before. Now he was off on this trip or whatever it was with these people, despite the fact that he knew next to nothing about any of them. This certainly was a weird situation to be in, and he wasn't too sure what to think about everything else.

Hearing the comment about a tour of some sort, he thought it might be a nice thing, to at least see the area that they were going to be spending some time in. Maybe he can get to know the others here too while they were on their little trip through the sky. It had been a while since he had been on an aircraft, the last time being when he and his sister had flown to the US from Ireland. It had been a few years since then, and that had more or less been their first time on a plane or in the air at all. "I'm all for a tour too."

Janelle Gauger

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion -> Camp Barrier
Skills: N/A

Janelle turned her attention one last time towards the flying ship in the sky despite not being able to see it, she knew roughly where it was and what it looked like, however that was the least of her concerns. Considering the fact that she wasn't even sure where the Camp Barrier really was from where they were, she listened more or less to the sound of Kristin's and Zeke's footsteps in order to tell which direction to go, and she followed along after them. Once she heard them stop, she managed to make her way to the van and found a seat as Kristin handed them money.

She wasn't too sure what exactly a drachma was, as she felt it in her hands and heard what the others were saying. "I've never really been... We lived in a home away from the city, which honestly was preferable to me, a lot less noise then a bustling city," she said in response to the question about traveling to Manhattan before. When Kristin mentioned an Iris message, she had a bit of a confused expression on her face, as she wasn't all too sure what that even was. "...If you don't mind me asking, what exactly is an Iris message?"

Jack waited patiently for Megan to finish up bagging up the bodies. He nodded his head slightly at the officers, saying nothing to them really as he wasn't too sure what to really say about the whole scene. Everything was beyond weird in his mind, considering the fact that way too many coincidences were happening all at once. His mind went back towards the incident that they had witnessed on the monitors regarding the murder at the orphanage, and then the attempted kidnapping. Everything weird was happening all at once, anything that could go wrong seemed to be going wrong.

Afterwards, he followed along after Megan, rolling his eyes slightly about her giving him a ride, even though he was perfectly capable of walking, but he figured it had something to do with why she wanted to talk to him, and didn't want Isabella with them at all. His eyes grew wide when she told him everything that seemed to have happened, and he wasn't too sure what to think. What she was saying made absolutely no sense... Right? It wasn't exactly possible, fairy tales weren't real. "...Meg, I'm not too sure what to really think about that, it just sounds insane."

"Trust me, I do know pretty well what people tend to throw away, it ain't pretty for the most part," she said with a shrug towards her, still petting the little puppy in her arms. "Though not sure whether or not a lawn chair would be a good thing to have around out here at this time of year. Lawn chairs are kind of out of season don't ya think?" This kid was a bit weird, but she did have a point, things that got thrown away weren't all that bad for the most part, it's how she furnished most of her apartment since she couldn't really afford to buy any actual furniture or blankets or whatnot.

Hearing her question about the dog caused her to get more then a little bit on the defensive side. Even though in reality, she kind of did steal the puppy from Merlin, but the puppy hadn't seemingly wanted to follow Merlin back to wherever he had come from, so she considered the dog to be her own. "I did not steal someone's dog! The puppy more or less started following me so I picked him up and now he's with me. His name is Lucky and he is mine! And why would it matter if I stole a dog if I had?"

Zelda Flynn

Location: Compartment 13

Zelda giggled slightly at Paige's reaction to her comment, but she fell silent as she heard the whistle of the sneak-o-scope as PAige pulled it out of her bag. "It could be picking up on just about anything... Who knows honestly right?" she said, shaking her head slightly, glancing over at Andre as he asked what it was and seemed to relax when Paige explained what it did. "She has a point... If it was detecting Merula as she said, it would have gone off when she was here earlier being her typical horrible self... So why would it start going off now... Though to be fair, those things are fairly finicky, not entirely trustworthy, so not really sure what we can do about it..."

Her eyes grew wide however when she saw Paige start casting a spell, deciding to go off and see what she was able to. Zelda knew that Paige could be a bit reckless, and tended to get into trouble a lot, and knew that there was a chance that she'd get into more trouble by herself more then anything. Once Paige was gone, she let out a bit of a sigh, before standing up and pulling out her wand. "I need to stop her from getting into too much trouble... I hate the fact that I'm going to have a chance of running into my parents... But she'll cause a lot more problems for herself if she's alone, so I'm going to try and get her to come back to the compartment... See you in a little bit Andre," she said, before she said the incantation for the disillusionment charm, blending into her surroundings like Paige did, and she followed after her out of the compartment.
