I cannot accept this CS for 2 reasons. One is that there are way too many similar archetypes of this character in this RP already. Second is that it is fine to have a CS which has a prior relationship to another character but most of your character's background story seems to be in the shadow of DeadDrop's character. At this point of the RP, I'm currently looking for unique characters who can dynamically bounce off one another. So, for that, I apologise.

Ghoul

You are a Ghoul, one of the most common mutants to emerge after the hellscape of the Great War. You are completely immune to radiation and can heal 1 HP for every 3 points of RAD damage inflicted upon you. When resting in an irradiated location, you can also roll to completely heal back all of your injuries and HP.

However, all Charisma skill checks with humans decrease by 2 points.

Once per combat, with your GM’s permission, you may create any item out of the surrounding materials avaliable. However, this item only lasts for the duration of combat and you must roll a seperate INT+Repair check for every usage to determine if it will break down in the middle of combat.

Reject Modernity, Return to Tribal

Humanity was not meant to survive the apocalypse. The apocalypse was a wake-up to return back to our anarcho-primitivism routes. In combat against individuals wielding any technologically advanced piece of equipment equivalent to that of a laser rifle, you add 3 points to any skill check you make related to combat. Additionally, you add a +4 to your INT checks during any conversation with an NPC from a tribal faction. Your tribistic tendencies make civilised wastelanders more wary of you during conversation and thus, your chance of critical fails during conversations with them is doubled.

I encourage everyone to move their sheets to the Characters tab ASAP. I’m keeping submissions open until the 6th and I am looking to start officially on the 11th when I’m done with IRL work.

Chowder Time

You have a dog, one of the many enterprising furry companions for any wasteland wanderer. Your dog is an NPC and can earn XP and attack enemies, albeit at a diminished rate compared to you. Once per scene, your dog can reduce the DC of any skill check you are doing by providing moral and emotional support in the form of cuddles.

Only You Can Prevent Identity Theft!

You are skilled in the art of disguise and acting. You may reroll any Char+Speech skill check once when bullshitting and convincing someone while you are undercover. Additionally, impersonating someone while wearing the regalia of their faction will add one point to any skill and attribute check whilst performing any action under the watch of a member of that faction.

Alright, here we go. First round of approvals. Based on your character sheet, you will also get access to a unique perk that will affect rolls plus other mechanics yet to be introduced. TRAIT: A Darkness Burning In the Light

Your life of crime and brutality in the descendants of the Russian Mafia has lended you a keen sense of the local criminal underworld in the area. Whenever you commit an illegal act of crime that would be considered illegal by the laws of the settlement you inhabit or any other illicit actions that harm an innocent, you gain an extra dice to roll during any skill test. However, the challenge rating of any action which is lawful that you will undertake will increase by a level of one.

TRAIT:Praise the Unity

You are a Gen 1 Super Mutant made in the pits of Mariposa. You get an additional +2 to your Strength and Endurance and are immune to the effects of radiation. Unfortunately, you gain a +1 in DC in all interactions that involve humans and human NPCs are more likely to act negatively towards you. Seriously, dude, look at your skin, look at your lips!

@Eviledd1984 Everything is generally fine but I have several issues with the backstory of Aaron. His father’s status as an NCR soldier doesn’t make sense and if he was killed in the battle for Caesar’s Legion, does this mean his father migrated to Hawaii and then, all the way back to California? People just don’t do large migratory treks ala Oregon Trail in Fallout, especially to unknown lands like the Aloha Isles. It also doesn’t specify how your character managed to end up on the Green Horizon. Did they travel to the states to continue their dream of being a scavenger/part-time singer? The internal motivations in his backstory seem frankly sporadic as well. Putting aside the fact that juvenile detention in Fallout for most factions would equate exile, death or forced conscription; I find it hard to believe that a I get that you’re going for the archetype of a swashbuckling rogue but how does your OC decide to switch from a thief to a bard and then, to a scavenger? There needs to be a more consistent throughline and justification other than ‘just because’. This sheet remains unapproved for now.

@Letter Bee No problem with anything other than the fact I’m probably gonna use your takes on how FO4 and FONV ended in broad strokes for the timeline of Aloha. A New Vegas independence/Mr House ending would make sense for how I envision the NCR and the Institute are a bunch of silly nincompoops.

TRAIT: Hotel California

You are a member of the NCR military with all the training that suits you. You get +1 to your damage rolls whenever you use rifles, SMGs, ARs, grenades, revolvers or any old fashioned gunpowder weaponry. However, whenever you use a energy weapon or attempt to roll any other weapon skill, the skill test is increased by 2.

However, any complications you generate during bartering will generate a scenario where an enemy NPC will attempt to rob you blind of all your caps.

Personality: Aaron is a very theatrical person. When on a mission, he loves to make a big entrance and present himself for all to see, ensuring he is always the centre of attention. Aaron is not one to back down from a fight, Especially when it is against someone he dislikes.
He doesn’t mind breaking the rules and lying to get what he wants. Aaron is usually a happy-go-lucky person, disliking negative people and people who put him down. Aaron is friendly towards everyone and quite extroverted towards other people. He is loyal to those he considers friends but can hold grudges against those he hates.

Background: Aaron was born in Honolulu and lived with his uncle and aunt. His father was an NCR soldier who was killed in a huge battle with the Casear Legion. His mother was a musician who died of stomach cancer. His father was white, and his mother was a native of Hawaii. Before his mother’s death, she and his uncle taught him how to play guitar and sing. After his mother’s death, he lived with his aunt and uncle, working at their farm and practicing his musical skills during his time off. During his youth, he would join a gang of other kids and start stealing from other people. Going to juvie and jail for stealing, and ironically learning a lot of criminal skills there. After he got out, he started travelling to the Hawaiian island, singing and trying to become a famous singer. However, he could not help himself but take what wasn’t his. This time he would scavenge from pre-world buildings. Selling what he finds and to the highest bidder.

There's something wrong with your skills distribution. Remember that it's 9 plus the number of intelligence points you have. You would have 16 skill points to spend over your skills and keep in mind skills can go up to a maximum of 3. Remember you can also tag 3 skills to add 2 points to them.
