I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.

Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss

Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)

Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.

Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.

RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...

Last RP I finished was Symphony of Espers which turned out pretty good.

RP's in progress:
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.

As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.

RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.

And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Other interests:
Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.

Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.

Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...

Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.

Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.

People to Insult:
Dalton is a Dingus.

— Nuncio

@FamishedPants@ERode@PlatinumSkink@Crusader Lord

Nuncio raised an eyebrow to Sophia's strange remarks about where he should focus his eyes. Firstly because she sounded like a drunk fairy, but also because Nuncio considered himself a respectable gentleman who was perfectly content with one woman in his life. But like with Hilaria, he would not let this slight against his character foul his mood. But it was hard. You tend to work with a lot of magical girls in Penrose, and most were all too willing to pull the womanizer card on you. If the way Sophia was pawing over Amaryllis was any indication, she might have seen Nuncio as a threat. But none of that mattered. Hearing Amaryllis say her name confirmed his suspicions as to her identity. She was Sammy's friend.

”Ah!” He placed his hands on his hips, entirely ignoring Sophia now. ”Sammy said a lotta good things about you. Gotta thank you for buyin' her a spa trip.” He sighed. ”I just got back myself. Can't say I'd be a lot of help to you and yours, but I've got some connections. We can figure this out.” Nuncio's face turned grim when he spotted the incoming Ascendancy. ”Looks like I've gotta scram.” He reached into his coat and pulled out a house cat, and placed it in Sophia's outstretched hand. ”Take good care of Fabio, I'll return for him when things pipe down. As for food, pizza sounds good by me.” If people were going to dump stereotypes on you, might as well play along right?

”Rossa!” Nuncio jumped onto his beautiful snow tiger and rode it away. ”Gotta apologize in advance for this.” Mid sprint his magic transformed it into a giant turtle. This didn't make Nuncio's mount any faster now, but it would help once he got to the river that ran the entire stretch of the city.

Su was kneeling on the Nimbus as it started to take off. You didn’t stand up on a nimbus for the same reason you don’t stand up on a magic carpet. If you were too tall, the air stream would knock you down once the Nimbus started to fly forward. Not only that, but the air would sting your eyes and make it impossible to see what was coming.

When confronted by Silhouette, Su’s first response was to pull back her head and raise an eyebrow. “Well ‘Silly,’ I just couldn’t help but feel we’d met previously. It would explain why you’re taking such a familiar tone with me.” she lowered her hands behind her back to keep herself propped up. “I remember seeing someone like you. Someone who looked like you. Maybe a month before the Bates ritual in the graveyard. ” Su had to be careful that she didn’t mention she was formerly a familiar. No telling if the Mint was present. “Your behavior is a shade different from what I remember too.”

Mika was laying on her chest, kicking her legs while the nimbus took them to their destination. “Um, Rina?” she traced some circles on the cloud with her finger. “You’re friends with Beacon, but they don’t seem to like Su very much.” her ears went back. “are we going to fight some day?”

Hey hey people, Trixy here!

I know what you guys are thinking. You’re thinking about going to Vi’s concert. You have your reservations, of course. She just launched a hate campaign on Beacon and you just want to enjoy the girls, soft drinks, and dance. Or maybe the more business savvy part of your psyche doesn’t see an ‘opportunity’ here. Well you can throw all of those concerns of yours in the trash, because guess who’s showing up in attendance?

Me! That’s who!

I mean I’m not Vermillion freakin’ Veronica, but if you have any questions and you’re too shy to send me a DM about it, you can meet me now! But hey, we don’t have to talk about any of that stuff, we can just exchange phone numbers or Glimr contact information. You’re also getting a free hug if I see you, so approach at your own risk!

Trixy out!

I thought the collab was a nice way to lead into the trial. I guess I could have given everyone an extra round to write posts, but it felt better to have Noel reveal stuff in the trial instead of outside of it. Though feel free to write a pre-trial scene if you'd like one.
@Mateotis @Majoras End @FamishedPants

Noel’s armor was stained with blood, as was everyone else in close proximity to where Bliss’s head use to be. Emily was still screaming, and Lucy was the first to snap out of it and guide her over to the sink. Out of everyone, she had gotten sprayed with the most blood.

“I-It’s okay Emily!” Lucy said with a stutter. Emily was starting to calm down, but her wide eyed expression let everyone know she was still in shock. Just about everyone was. Even Ice was too shocked to say anything. They had witnessed the carnage sisters hunt and kill them before, but this was the first time they witnessed a human committing this kind of brutality. It was one thing to watch a robot do it, or witness it after the fact. But watching Noel do it without hesitation…

Noel seemed to ignored the Masson siblings, instead choosing to examine the gun in her right hand. Even when Daimyon spoke up, she avoided making eye contact with him. But once he was done speaking, Noel’s head turned towards him.

“I’ve seen the end to more of these games than anyone else here. I know exactly what I’m doing.” She placed the gun on the table and turned her body towards Daimyon. “I removed another twisted murderer from the world. I’ve given closure to the victims of the families. In choosing to commit murder in front of all of you, I’ve deprived the bear of a good show.” Noel smiled rather proudly as she declared this. “This is suppose to be the murder that sets Parker free. The fifth and final act in a story that has never been told. And it will be told without drama or suspense.”

While Noel was droning on, Monokuma rose up from the floor. He looked frustrated, and was scrolling through his handbook.

”I must admit, Noel’s actions have given me claws.” He tossed the handbook into the air. ”Claws to rip you all to shreads!”

“You’re not scaring anyone, ya wanker!” Ice shouted.

Monokuma placed a paw on his chin. ”Well, you sound like you’ve collected all the evidence you need. Just be at the court before long, okay kids?” And with that, Monokuma dove into the fridge where he promptly disappeared.

Cyrus looked like he wanted to speak, but he turned away. Maybe he was saving it for the trial?

While the other infinites were bombarding Noel with questions, Zachary found that he was being pulled towards the hallway. He might have been tempted to resist, but it was Jezebel that was pulling him along. As soon as they got out the door, she slammed it shut before turning towards the one-eyed archer.

“Take a chill pill!” She folded her arms, looking none too pleased. “Like-” she sighed, and her expression softened. “Zachary, what’s going on?”

Zachary, despite his earlier apathy, clearly couldn't look Jezebel in the face. He did not regret his earlier outburst as a whole, though snapping at her ate at him. But after he took a minute or two, he eventually regained the ability to speak with her properly, albeit with obvious difficulty.  "...I've just had enough," he told her, his expression betraying his exhaustion. "It isn't ending, and I don't think it ever will."

Jezebel closed her eyes and tipped her head towards the ground. “Like, he did say it was an infinite killing game. I’ve seen a lot of people die. At first I just tuned it out and junk, but it got harder to do.” She lifted her head back up and opened her eyes. “But like, it hasn’t been all bad right? I got to meet Krista, Faith, and Baldwin number one.”

"But I don’t remember ever asking to be a part of it. I just want it to end, but I know he won’t stop. They won’t stop. I can’t deal with that." he pouted. His eyes trailed off at the mention of the other Infinites. He thought about how they weren't here anymore. Their futures were stolen from them, like so many other Infinites. Zach looked to Jez. "Seeing things in a positive light... it's impossible for me now. Not when they're gone. And not when tomorrow isn't guaranteed."

“Oh my god Zachary! Seriously?” Jezebel wrinkled her nose. “I’m not asking you to ‘look at things in a positive light!’ My best friend died yesterday, and like, we already have another death. You’ve lost your eye, it’s been a very grody last few weeks and it’s totally okay to think everything sucks and junk.” She pulled herself closer. “Zachary Ackerson, we may not have a tomorrow, but we have today, and that’s a lot more than twenty-something other people have. We have each other, and everyone else. It’s one thing to be sad, but taking it out on everyone else isn’t fair.”

"Eh? O-oh." Zachary almost jumped. He wasn't expecting Jez to suddenly get even more heated like that, and the small distance between them wasn't helping him think either. "I guess I made the wrong assumption there, sorry." he was a bit embarrassed about that. Seemed death games don't make people any better at speaking, who'd've thunk?

As Jezebel continued, there was a small, throbbing sensation in his chest when she mentioned a best friend dying, which wasn't him. It was immediately followed by intense disgust at himself. What a sick person he was, to be like that. Could he get any pettier? It was surprising even to him someone as terrible as that hadn't been an active part of this killing game.

But ignoring this sense of self-loathing for a moment, he tried to properly hold eye contact with the woman who was reprimanding him for acting like a child. And he certainly was. This, in turn, made him feel all the more disappointed in himself. "I-I'm aware of that, I really am. There are only a few things I want less than to make a scene like that, but I'm so frustrated that I just suddenly exploded when I heard Alice." he sighed. "I mean I can't even seem to look at a cup of coffee anymore without getting so incredibly anxious and upset that I burn myself."

“And that, is understandable.” Her face started to relax. “Like, Max took something that we both enjoyed and used it as a tool for murder. Totally uncool. I was going to skip coffee entirely.” Jezebel gave Zachary a hug. “But it’s gunna pass.” She took a step back. “But it’s not gunna pass soon.” Jezebel poked Zachary’s chest. It was weak, and the way her hand was shaped it was clear the intent was to point. “You can’t throw yourself away.” She crossed her arms.

Zachary wasn't used to much physical contact, but Jezebel's warmth was appreciated. He was glad, at least, that she sympathized with the ordeal with coffee. "I still don't know about that." he admitted. Even if it was her, this thing gripping his heart, this terrible feeling of helplessness and resignation... it wasn't going away. It was corroding at him. He even took Bliss' brutal death with a straight face. That wasn't normal. "But I know that I shouldn't be letting it get to me as hard as it is."

He paused. Wasn't he being selfish? Jezebel did engage the conversation wanting to address his behavior, but it wasn't like she was completely fine herself. "So," he began. Her poke, if you could call that, didn't sit well with him. "More importantly, what about you?" he asked. "How are you holding up?"

“I’ve been better.” Jezebel’s arms slid up until she was hugging herself. “Like, I knew faith longer than anyone else here, and she’s gone. Dunno how to feel about Bliss. What she did was grody, but she totally didn’t have to die like that.” Her fingers dug into her shoulders. “But as long as you, like, don’t do what Krista did, I’ll be okay and junk.”

Zachary nodded. "I'm going to be honest: It's hard for me to trust the words of an Iron Man who comes into a room full of people and murders someone." he looked towards the Break Room. "So I don't know if she did something terrible like that, but you're right. That was... not the way someone should go, and it wasn't the time for it, either."

Listening further, the archer seemed bewildered by Jez bringing up Krista for a moment. Then it finally hit him. He frowned. "That... won't happen. I would never do that. I can't. I'm too much of a coward, anyway." he assured her. "And, of course, I'm sure you wouldn't, either."

Jezebel smiled and unfolded her arms, but there was a twitch in the corner of her lip. “Yea.” She looked back at the door to the break room. “I guess, like, I should probably be in there. Just in case.” Jezebel walked towards the door. “Like we’re all going to have to go to the trial anyway. Kinda sucks, but it beats the alternative.”

He had heard what he wanted to, at least. Zachary couldn't begin to say what he'd do if he found out Jezebel had done something like that. But that wouldn't matter. Because without Jezebel...

"It's almost laughable how there's still a trial after that. If the culprit isn't Noel, then I'd honestly almost say whoever it was deserves to escape. I'm quite convinced I just watched Noel do it." he said. "It's redundant. But I guess that doesn't mean anything." he sighed. "Well, I'd love to join you, but I think the others would rather I not. I'll just take a walk and clear my head instead." he waved to Jezebel and jogged off.

TRIAL IS IN SESSION
A L L R I S E

No matter how many times they took the coaster, the sense of vertigo never seemed to go away. All of them felt like they were being plunged straight into hell. But at least they all knew who the killer was this time.

”Blah blah blah, blackened will be punished, blah blah blah, everyone else will be punished. Blah blah blah, give it your best.” Monokuma was reclining in his seat, with a leg up on one armrest. ”Voting is still locked for now, so no lever pulling.”

Cyrus was furious, but he knew Bliss wouldn’t want him to explode in front of everyone. That didn’t mean the anger wasn’t there however. It had only been five minutes and he had already broken six pairs of glasses. He had bitten his lip to the pint of bleeding, but he cleaned the wound with his tongue. Cyrus had questions, and he couldn’t ask them if he was spouting venom at Noel. “You joined the killing game after Justiciar’s first appearance.”

“Correct.” Noel nodded. “But my role in the game was different than the rest of you.” She laid her hands on her podium. “I’m sure you’ve seen the carnage sisters and Monokuma make use of secret doors. My role in this game was to act as a sort of traitor that would influence the game the way Davis wanted me to. This includes capturing Calvin and stealing Krista’s phone call. The battle suit was hidden in such a space, and access to these passages let me traverse the hospital much faster than the rest of you.”

Dennis was holding the sides of his head. “Justiciar talked to you. How that happen!?!?”

“For that little illusion I needed to call a friend.” Noel’s smile curled into a full on smirk. “I recruited Geina. I had spotted her doting over Felix’s unconscious body and threatened to make her love public unless she helped me. Geina might seem like an odd choice, but she was willing to help Felix that night while I worked with the rest of you to attack Nariko’s carnage class chassis.” She giggled. “And before you ask, her guns do pop off. I was surprised by this, and I’m sure someone else was as well.”

”They scare you? They should!” The carnage sister looked away ”B-but I guess I can take them off. Just because you admitted they scared you.” With a pop, the mini guns split in half and fell off of her arms. ”I bet you're going to complain you're the only one undressing. So you know what?” she started unbuttoning her shirt. ”I'm going to beat you to it, fucker!”
the best post in history

Lucy folded her arms. “Why did you start helping us? Since I arrived in the game, Justiciar was protecting people.”

Noel closed her eyes. “Typically Davis calls me in for one specific task or another and I’m requested to leave the game not much later. But the the more time I spent in this game, the more attached I got to everyone.”

“How unfortunate that you didn’t kill yourself first then.” Cyrus’s glasses were breaking apart as he spoke. “Politicians have pretty big egos, but how full of yourself do you have to be to masquerade as a hero who does Davis’s bidding? Your head is as empty as that suit when no one’s wearing it.”

Noel shrugged her shoulders. “Bliss confessed to her crimes. Is everyone really okay with letting a child murderer not being punished?”
<Snipped quote by Daimyon>

So uh. Gonna ignore Alice having a slight PTSD moment there? .-.

non·plussed
/nänˈpləst/

adjective

(of a person) surprised and confused so much that they are unsure how to react.

At that point, the recon didn't know what to think.

I think she was nonplussed. Though it's confusing because it can also mean "(of a person) not disconcerted; unperturbed."
Excellent, I'm glad everyone was able to post in a timely fashion. I'll likely have another post up over the next few days.

Not to get ahead of myself, but this trial doesn't seem particularly hard. Unless there's some trick to it. I suppose we'll see once we've made some headway. But who should head the investigation?

I don't know who should spearhead the investigation, but it should be a levelheaded individual as oppose to a boneheaded one. It's sure to make the headlines since Noel is there.
@Aewin She doesn't need her hat either.
@Aewin fite me nerd.
@Mateotis @Majoras End @FamishedPants

And I'll tag @Melo & @Aewin because I said I would.

Bliss examined the fight from afar. She could see Ice’s face curl into a snarl. “You’ve been keeping to yourself an awful lot. I wouldn’t be surprised if you killed someone. Don’t pretend to be better than me!” It was clear he wasn’t going to take Zachary’s remarks sitting down, even if Alice was doing her best to end things. Though she was a bit on edge herself.

With a sigh, Cyrus walked away from the counter and into the squabble. “We lost two good people yesterday, and it’s understandable that some of us-”

Ice turned to the newly arrived. “Put a sock in it! Nobody cares what some flipping bong thinks about all this?”

Cyrus took off his glasses. “…Excuse me?”

Emily stood up and walked towards Cyrus in an attempt to stem the conflict, but that was when Bliss stopped looking at the fight. Her attention was on someone else.

With the fight going on, Justiciar’s appearance went largely unnoticed by everyone. the vigilante was staring at Bliss the entire time they were in the room, and walked towards her table. It wasn’t long before they took a seat across from her.

”J-Justiciar!” Bliss folded her hands under the table. ”What are you doing here?”

The armored individual only hesitated for a moment. They drew their gun and pointed it at her. “Serving justice.”

Justiciar had yet to enter the break room before Dennis tried to get their attention. “’Scuse me?” He said, but it didn’t look like they planned on stopping.

Henry had tensed up at the sight of Justiciar, but was confused when it didn't seem to notice them. Wasn't the vigilante only seen on the Nights of Carnage? Thinking for a moment, the pianist decided to follow Justiciar, once he was given the chance.

Justiciar stopped in front of the break room and looked at the door. Without hesitating, they drew their gun and reached for the door knob.

Oh no.

"Wait! STOP!!" Henry yelled, grabbing Justiciar's gun. "What are you doing?!"

The Vigilante was not too pleased with this, and promptly swung their arm out of the way. Justiciar’s armor must have augmented their strength, because it felt like Henry was fighting with a hydraulic piston instead of a human’s arm. Or maybe Henry just skipped arm day more often then his opponent. Once the gun was out of the way, they redirected their foot and kicked into Henry’s chest. It was just hard enough to send him stumbling backwards into Denis, who struggled to stop Henry’s momentum.

“Do not impede me.” Justiciar’s static filled voice came from a speaker on their helmet. They turned to face the two with their gun pointed at the ground. “Justice must be served. I have it on good authority that the bear will set another trap. The only way it can be avoided is by starting the game’s fifth and final trial.”

He wasn't going to lie, it didn't feel too good getting the wind knocked out of him. The pianist nodded to the spy as thanks for catching him, then turned his attention back to the vigilante. Henry's eyes widened in fear when they explained that they were going to kill one of them to avoid some trap. "W-What...?!" He felt conflicted. They did needed a final trial to end the game, but at the same time...

"...Are you sure?"

“It’s part of the formula.” Justiciar placed a hand on their hip. “After the trial, the bear will try to lure more of us out during the night of carnage. Not everyone will take the bait, but someone will. Maybe a few people. The chances of everyone coming back alive is slim.” Their gaze was unflinching. The yellow orbs in their head only grew in intensity.

So that's how things got worse. It was all planned. Henry was silent for a moment, then nodded in understanding. "Just...don't hurt Alice. Please."

“That really good idea?” Denis tossed Henry to the side. He was practically growling the words through his teeth. “Why not kill self then!?!?”

Justiciar turned their head, just slightly, so that they could look directly at Denis. “I could do that.” there was a sigh before they continued. “But there is a wolf who hides in sheep’s clothes. I was able to access the fourth floor during the night of carnage. There’s a computer that contains a lot of information about us. It’s all true, I looked up myself to confirm. I was even able to cross reference facts and other things I knew about all of you. The reason why I’m choosing to murder instead of commit suicide is because this person cannot be permitted to live.”

Denis groaned before looking at Henry. “You sure about this?”

"If all else fails, they still get executed, right?" The pianist said, a bit worried. But the mention of a computer on the fourth floor made him curious. So he decided to ask. "Is there a way I can get to this computer?" Seemed off to him, since they should've unlocked the next floor by then.

“I have no idea what’s going to happen after the fifth trial.” Justiciar turned back towards the door. “If the game is still going, you could break down the door during the night of carnage. If it’s not, who knows?” And with that, Justiciar entered.

“Bliss Buckly, I don’t think anyone present has the same kill count you have.” By this point, everyone took notice of the person with a metallic voice talking to Bliss. “You killed your brother and fled your home before being picked up at an orphanage. That was likely a mercy killing, as he was suffering from stone man syndrome. Is this correct?” Bliss didn’t answer, but Justiciar briefly looked at Cyrus before looking back at Bliss. “I’m surprised you told him something like that, but at least we know that’s true.” They kept their gun leveled with Bliss’s head.

”If you’re going to kill me, that’s fine, just don’t-” She clasped her hand over her mouth. ”Please don’t mention the other thing.”

“The other thing.” Justiciar leaned forward onto one of her arms. “You mean how you became a child serial killer?” Bliss froze, but Justiciar kept talking. “The Lamia killings, that’s what they called your brutal string of murders. You targeted wealthy families. I’m sorry, but the reports I read never stated why you did it. Most serial killers do these types of things to live out some sort of fantasy, but maybe you were just envious of them? If they died, maybe the parents would adopt a piece of shit like you?”

Bliss had covered her face with her hands. ”I-I wanted to help.” She folded her hands in her lap. ”The other children in the orphanage, they never knew happiness.” Bliss sniffed. ”I-I did it for them!”

“You killed children, to help children?”

”I know what I did was wrong. I don’t do that anymore. That’s why I became the infinite nanny, so that I could right my wrongs and become a better person.” Bliss sighed. Her breath was ragged. ”I use to think every child should experience happiness at least once, but I think every child should experience as much happiness as possible.”

“I’m glad you feel that way.” Justiciar sat upright. “Because I feel every child deserves justice.”

BANG

Before Cyrus could say anything, the armor piercing bullet was of a high enough caliber that the force vaporized Bliss’s head, leaving a decapitated corpse. Everyone nearby was sprayed with bits of flesh and blood, and Emily’s screaming soon filled the room. Then a chime sounded.

“A body has been discovered. The patients have a limited time to collect evidence before being called into the court of carnage. Do your best everyone!”

Emily didn’t stop screaming, even as Justiciar took off their helmet and placed it on the table. It was Noel who they saw underneath.

“I suppose you have some questions? I’ll answer them to the best of my ability. I’m use to making the news.”

— Nuncio

@FamishedPants@ERode@PlatinumSkink@Crusader Lord

Nuncio considered himself a loyal guy. There were a lot of rumors about Italian men being huge womanizers, unable to occupy themselves with just one girl. This was a concern that Sammy had when they first became an item, and it stayed until the last time he saw her. Any time they had to part, any time other girls were around, she’s say something to the effect of: “Now I know you could have anyone you want, but remember you’ve already got me!” Maybe it was more her own insecurities that made her say that, but Nuncio had never witnessed Sammy feel sheepish about anything. Except for that one time she got Tony killed. But there was no point thinking about that now. Until recently, she hadn’t been around to say anything like that. It felt unreal. He found himself scanning the battlefield for places where she could hide. He was waiting for her to pop out and say “Ha! Just as I deduced! I’ve caught you in the act!”

Nuncio coughed into his hand. They were talking to him already, and all at once. "Uh." He smiled. The boy could barely make out what Sophia was saying. "Nuncio, Feline Mafioso." He placed his hat on his chest and bowed. The tiger made a low, guttural sound, but didn’t seem too interested in the magical girls present. It was content to remain by Nuncio’s side and watch his back. He acknowledged Hilaria’s remark with a chuckle and a wave of his hand, though he was pretty sure it was a slight to his arrival time. "I think my reason for bein’ here is clear. Magical boys and girls are supposed ta hunt monsters. Well, the ones who serve Puchuu and Forces anyway. I serves Nu of the pond, but I’ve recently joined the Penrose outer alliance." He placed his hat on his head. "Recently might not be correct. Didja go on vacation for the past few months? Time really flies, don’t it?" Nuncio took a few steps towards Amaryllis. His tiger did not follow right away, but upon noticing Nuncio’s movements, the tiger leaped to his side in a single bound. "None of yas look like beacon, wanna clue me in on who ya are?"

There was something curious about this woman. Something about her features. The way her legs looked like they could hold up a man’s hopes and dreams. Her proud bosom that was the envy of every woman. Pale skin that was comparable to marble, and a slender weapon that was as fair as the person holding it. Yes, This had to be Sammy’s friend he’d heard so much about. Was this why she had never introduced them?

”Thomas was alone. such a crappy game.”

— Tetrad

@Rune_Alchemist@Card Captor

Katarina’s disapproval of Tetrad’s actions got nothing but a chuckle out of the old woman. ”Sure, I’ll keep that in mind.”

And before long, Tetrad was alone. Being this old sucked. Well, it would be better if she had a rocking chair and something to knit…

”So how’s life, sil?”

“Wait, I remember you!”

“Why so srs?”

— Su Fang & Mika Sarraf

Mika was not very talkative during their search of the forest. The situation must have been getting to her, because she had pinned her ears back as soon as Katarina took to the tree tops. But after the discovery of the over city, her ears perked up instantly. “Jackpot!” She rushed back to Tetrad where Sil and Tetrad were waiting.

“I found the over city. I didn’t see anything that should pose much of a problem.” She placed a hand on her hip as she continued to explain. “I did spot some goblins and unicorns that appear to be indigenous to the area. I can’t speak for what lies below the treeline, but I didn’t see anything that should pose a problem.”

Mika puffed out her chest. “We found it too! If you follow us, we can lead everyone right to the city!” She picked up Tetrad and dumped her onto Alexander’s lap. “We need to carry the old, otherwise we’ll be here forever!”

Tetrad was now sitting on Alexander’s lap with her legs and torso sticking out of either side of the motorcycle. ”Oh-ho!” She said before lifting a hand to her mouth. ”Hello there, young man.”

“I’ve got everyone else!” With a hop, the nimbus appeared under her feet. “Silly, Rina, Su! Let’s gooooo!”

Su could have asked why Mika didn’t just take Tetrad herself, but chose not to. The fewer delays, the better. Having said that, Su couldn’t help but feel an odd sense of deja vu when she looked at Sil. She knew she had seen her previously, but this was different. There was something very familiar about Sil’s uniform that made Su think she had seen her somewhere before. But aside from the graveyard battle, this was the first time she had seen the knife wielding magical girl. It didn’t even feel like she had seen her that long ago. Maybe even some time this year, but she couldn’t pin down the exact memory.

But the fewer delays, the better. If Sil remembered Su, she’d probably make mention of it on the flight over to the over city. She stepped onto the nimbus, but didn’t take her eyes off of the assassin.

”I'm a shipper from way back.”

— Tonya “Mac” Murphy

Regardless of the Nimbus's size, Mac planned to just sort of anchor herself to the underside of it with her gravity magic. It wasn't too expensive as far as spells went, and with how little she needed to use her mana thus far, it was an expense she could handle.

Now, Mac understood Su and Helga had been together now for all but a few days, but she did kind of think that Silhouette and her could make for a cute couple too. Not that she wished for a termination of Su's current relationship, this was more something to think about on this trip where she couldn't talk to anyone. Though the altitude they were flying at did make her feel like making a giant illusionary troll at some point. That would be a nice distraction if they ended up being followed.
