At least no one in the world has tried to make a mage-vampire hybrid that somehow has magic, right? XD
@Achronum (forgot to tag you for the above thing, my bad ^^;)
Hmmm....Noted. One last question or two, perhaps?

3. Have mages and vampires in their pairs produced children before? If so, what are they like?

4. With the mages in permanent captivity, why don't the vampires just attack the humans? Er, blunt question i know. ^^;
@Achronum Hello there, just came by to read. Have a question or few of curiosity, if that's ok. XD

1. How often do relationships between vampire-mage pairs develop?

2. What use do the societies have in regards to the mage-vampire pairs? Anything like being peacekeeping forces after graduation or such things, etc?
Kira Moonchaser

The snowlem didn't even so much as flinch in the face of the shamans and their attempted banishing magics. Upon the foes leaping out and acting, it simply began to act on its orders without question. It lumbered over and began to swing its arms upon the Garef shaman, seeking to squish them into pulp. No hesitation, no mercy, and as it moved into actions it seemed to gain in speed as it moved over the top of the snow to meet its targets, this material that was its advantage in this situation proving useful otherwise. Because with all of this snow, any damage it would take would virtually be as if it hadn't happened, this home of the Garef fueling its structure and their eminent doom. Even the blizzard was fuel to its "fire", though the creatures had mistaken it as an elemental it seemed.

If left unchecked, the snowlem would merely continue to pursue and attempt to squash Garef, whether it was these shaman that had been reduced to a pulp, or even the white haired one that Merius had killed. It couldn't think for itself like a sentient being could, but at least it could smash things pretty dang well.

-Meanwhile-

As the warriors revealed themselves, Kira found herself grinning at the situation without a second thought. Stone axes and tools? Primitive combat tactics like hurling rocks? Even the metal axes were not really a worry....and for a reason. These things were obviously primitive to the sight! Tribal folk fitting for low level enemies at best! She was no fool, no idiot, and so she would show these things just who was in charge here. As the projectiles and enemies came rushing down at her and Nebuchi, all the master golem maker did was utter a single spell as her right hand was extended at the enemy mob.

Even Merius coming over as they were surrounded didn't change Kira's attitude right now. The magic coursing in her veins, the power she could feel thrumming in her as it came to life....ah.

'Double Maximize Magic: Widen Magic: Shock Wave'

The invisible shockwave rippled through the air towards the Garef warriors (and not her allies, its effects expanded to a group and bearing the power to crush a set of full plate armor like crumpled paper. It distorted the air as it moved, but it size was wide and its presence like a simple wall of death closing in one the unknowing victims. Weak? They were not weak! They were players, fighters, magic casters! They were those who had made the trip from YGGDRASIL to here, and would carve their destiny into this land!!!

Spears, rocks, these things were crushed like paper and collapsed to the ground in the form of what was left in dust and bent scraps of metal. Wicker baskets were obliterated in the wake of the spell, and the doubled power of the spell would be even worse once it hit the Garef. What could go wrong, someone charging into the enemy as her spell moved out towards them? Hah. Neither of these two with her here would be that stupid....er, right?

@Jangel13 Yes, back of the leg. Specifically the back of the knee, a more vulnerable spot. :3
Mina Kreiger (Alloy)

The sound of the door to the Jacks' lair would likely be easily heard by the others, alongside the clanging of keys, before the sound of it closing and locking again came shortly after. The sound of shoes coming down the steps then began, albeit with a potentially higher weight behind them than the normal. Sometimes the steps taken nearly sounded like a "thunk" sound of some sort. But before reaching the bottom a voice finally rang out-

"Eh? I guess you all are down here now, accordin' to Broker. Saw ya walk through the bar, but i was getting somethin' to drink before i came down."

-....rather casually, actually, in both tone and manner.

As Mina got near the bottom of the stairs, into the view of others, her appearance was...potentially normal, or potentially odd. For the Jacks, perhaps the former was the case. It was firstly obvious what she was drinking something...wait was that a virgin Bloody Mary she was sipping in her hand? Second thing to potentially hit was the fact she was dressed in baggy, black sweat pants (sewn pockets having been obviously modded onto them sometime prior) and a light gray exercise top. Though aside from her brown hair color stuck into a ponytail, most of her face seemed to be covered in shiny metal. In fact, even though her right hand was in a pocket it was easy to see her left hand looked like entirely like metal as well. Only her hair and the top left part of her face, including her icy blue left eye, seemed to be normal.

Glancing around at the assembled members of the Jacks, Mina gave them a general, casual wave after taking her right hand out of her pocket. It too shone like it was made of metal, but was swiftly put back into the pocket it had been in prior before more could be seen. After taking another sip of her oddly non-alcoholic drink, she seemed to decide to speak up again.

"I'm the newbie, just call me Alloy. I like pizza and cute girls, got enough experience on the streets and such, and hell if i thought about what else i'd say right now because its been a hella' long day."
Annabelle Irons

Annabelle paused as she was called out to, by a young sounding voice at that. Maybe another magical girl? Then again it could be the odd random background sort of person who needed directions, or who was traveling through the area, or such things. But regardless of who it was...why would they want to chat to her? Turning to look around, Annabelle blinked a couple times as she looked back at the rusty-colored eyes of the other girl. It was kinda odd, but not exactly an abnormal look, and it wasn't like the girl's question was abnormal anyway. Hair color was kinda nice tho, somewhat like a shade of red....unless it was some shade of red?

Eh, at the moment the redheaded magical girl herself was more mentally concerned with buying gifts for her new friends. She'd already found something nice for Elroy after going into a pawn shop, or at least maybe something that'd fit his personality. Maybe. Hell if she knew for sure, she was trying her best here! Though despite being thrown off by the new person, she threw on a happy smile regardless. Maybe this could be another friend? One could never know. Though....a pawn shop! Aha!

"Huh? Oh! Yeah, i just got out of a pawn shop near here, not sure if its the same place you might remember. I'm kinda new here myself anyways~," Annabelle said, giving a light giggle before continuing on, "Sorry, its been a long day. I can show ya there if you want!"

She didn't mind, personally, not that it would have been hard to give a flat "no" as an answer in the first place. Regardless, she had been about to turn around the backtrack, before going the other direction down the street from the Pawn Shop. Figures being new hadn't helped when it came to finding that jewelry store...ugh.

@FamishedPants

-Back Near The Abandoned School, Soth's Neighborhood-

Creatures slithered about the surrounding, abandoned buildings. Three had been secured for their lord, and not many more to go before things could begin. Runes were being carved into inner walls and underneath roof tiles, sigils being scrawled in blood acquired from....various sources, and chanting in alien and unfathomable tongues was concealed to a hushed volume and tone to avoid 'making a scene'. Shadows filled with indeterminable horrors within slinked about in shapes abounding, moving about more and more as the night would get closer and closer, and they became less and less able to be noticed by any potential passerby. They patrolled the grounds, the rooms, the chambers, and streets like bloodhounds, seeking resources nearby, subtly gliding about like silent predators on the prowl...

Other monsters weren't safe here, not at all, as they had the status of merely being but the harvested crops for these horrors' lord without a second thought. Work had also been moving along rather well, all that was needed was...well, their Lord knew what was needed for what was to come. Such a grace that would be granted to this mundane world, a boon of unimaginable magnitude to their kind and all who stood alongside them. It would be an honor, a privilege many would merely be lucky and blessed to witness in all these millennia....and it would in the end be-

'....glorious.

Yet so radiant, even...-

-...that it would blot out the sun in comparison...'

Nina Kujo and Alice Honorsby

The person before her seemed to shift in a manic mood, building and building then...stopped in an instant by a seeming pain. Red Rifle....no, Alice had seen this sort of person before, this sort of twisted mind that latched upon a fancy like a predator's fangs dug into upon the butt of a prey animal in flight. Was this girl's patron a Horror? Perhaps. It could also be something else, even though horrors were usually the sort to result in such a mental state. Yet some could, as well, be twisted by their own accord without the need to be bent by a horror or some other power.

The world could really be a sick place when one saw enough of it, witnessed enough events, and watched the worst happen at times to those who didn't deserve it.

She been about to deliver more witty lines and bravado, maybe to entice this girl into a manic frenzy and distract her, but as Chloe changed so did Alice in regards to her expression. Where once was teasing, flirty attitude there was now more of a concerned look then before. A rather serious look, even, as it could be said. The lines she was delivering sounded like a movie-villain's monologue to get recruits from some place.

It was not an invalid question to herself, though, which was the scary part. She'd seen the suffering of many, and things that she'd dare never want to recount to others. Some had called her "jaded" for it, but...if one couldn't adjust to this way of life after getting stuck in it, and without a bonus way out of it all, then they would die. She'd seen it so many times, it could have made a normal person maybe lose their mind, or suddenly turn sick as their insides churned at what a magical girl like herself had witnessed.

"...Heh, not a bad question to use for this sort of stuff. Cheesy, but effective. So then....what's your offer? What is this solution to the world's suffering you propose, patron of Chloe?" Red Rifle said, her tone not wavering, giving her cheeky trademark grin as she waited for an answer.

It wasn't a trap, or a refusal. Merely a question, a desire to "get to the point" of it all hear this out. Surely someone looking to recruit could do that much, just to answer a little question in some manner, eh? Though instinctively her body was already ready in case of a sudden attack, or a surprise ambush, or such things to occur. The air of this "encounter" had changed, and that wasn't always a good sign.

Saber: Sigurd, the Dragon Slayer

(Lost) Badass Shades, DDD Hotsprings, Foreigner's Lowlands

His cool glasses were....gone. It almost felt like a part of him he didn't know was lost, like some long forgotten article of clothing he'd worn in some other universe....or perhaps he was just imagining things. Regardless, the shades were gone from all of them, but so was the madness that had been used as well. Regardless, the others seemed to be stopping or slaying their foes as well, but even so Sigurd continued to maintain the "Clairvoyance" as well as continuously keep using his Monstrous Strength skill. He began to run at speed, to follow Gilles even as the other servant brought out maddening sorts of things at his disposal.

Because if he could get "there", to the epicenter of this, then perhaps he could do something about it all. Perhaps he could do what was necessary to save the world along with the others here. It was worth a shot, to end this as fast as possible, to do something, anything, and as he kept his eyes on the future he would be able to keep up with what was going on in general as well. Because it was there, lingering just beyond the horizon, that thing which allowed humans to weather all the storms thrown at them:

Hope.

Diana Firebrand

The door...hand't broken in the face of her amazing voice?! Drat. But at least a new guy had come through the door, that was good! Or maybe not, depending on the situation? She wasn't some idiot, even if she'd jut blasted at this door to test it out....and had teased Scar earlier with a jail door encounter of the close kind. Regardless, the man seemed to hand a set of keys he had over to Kris, perhaps the keys to this door or other ones and such? Regardless it was a good turn of events in the dragonkin's mind, meaning she didn't need to try to 'fus' her way into other doors in this room. Not that it might have turned out well based on prior results...

Though the skittering and buzzing sounds emanating from the corridor behind the new arrival did not seem to be a good sign. It was strange and ominous, and considering the sounds were greater than any normal bugs....Diana decided to do something about it.

"Er, i'm gonna see if i can board up the passage there a sec. Those sounds don't seem to be rather good, and i kinda need my armor to put back on and my weapons back just like the others."

Walking over to the entrance of the corridor, Diana made sure no one was jumping in front of her before-

"Fo Krah Diin!"

A torrent of freezing cold assaulted the corridor, whipping winds flowing down the passage and a sheet of thick ice forming to block up the corridor itself just matter of feet in front of her. After finishing, Diana turned around and looked at the others with her usual smile, walking over to where Kris stood and giving her a part on the back. Was she expecting praise? Was she just trying to assure her teammate things were maybe fine now? Whatever the case was, at least she seemed to be trying to keep positive in all these things.
