Allow me to explain them with an example then. Suppose you have a farmer tending a field, not for himself but for another. He does not enjoy this, nor does he really wish to pursue it, he only does so for the sake of survival.

It is my opinion that such thing's are not truly worth doing, for the farmer's heart and soul are not in it. I believe that, for the farmer's efforts to truly mean anything, he must carry them out with conviction. Else he is no better than a husk going through the motions.
