Basically, metaphysical is non-physical. Obviously metaphysical means relating to metaphysics, and metaphysics is defined as:
the branch of philosophy that deals with the first principles of things, including abstract concepts such as being, knowing, substance, cause, identity, time, and space.

So if you had said "I metaphysically stayed the same" or "I only changed physically" that would have worked like you wanted.

Those things didn't come from some separate thing, but they surpass things like Higurashi and what I know of from that daily life manga. If you had given an example of something that surpassed them, I would've been like "yeah okay sure that's worse than what Dark would do." But the thing with Dark is that he's pretty much done everything possible because of how many MDCs he had and how much time they collectively experienced. Statistically speaking, nothing done can "surpass" his actions. That doesn't mean they can't be more evil than him, since he did 99% of everything he collectively did for the sake of experimentation, but you gave a description that didn't surpass what he's done for less wholesome reasons.
