Alright. Alls fun and games. I already did this in the discord. But for funs, and those not in it. I did a ranking. Being that this is a dxd rp. It goes like this: Rin -> Kohana -> Ekibe -> Nora
@Delta44 I like the character, the abilities are basically all fine. The history is good. However, I just want to be clear. You do know that as a rook her body is pretty strong. Like just being reincarnated into the rook of our peerage she would have superhuman strength, and because of that her body could take a hit. Again, this is just to be sure.
Just talking about this, you answering, I can probably accept you, cause I'm not really looking to deny her. Just need to make sure. I mean you are basically accepted and you can move her over to the Character Tab, but still answer the question lol
@pkkenI like him. I'm gonna accept him. Already got some ideas on how we could get him in and how to train him. Soooo yeah. You're good.
Everything happened rather quickly. Such was the way of this society Lucy supposed. In the time it took them to speak, Jacob had gone to change. Brandon had been eaten and was on his way for seconds. Amy had questioned Lucy on her origins and as Jacob returned to speak of his own, she took the shirt he'd offered. It wasn't huge like one would expect, but it wasn't exactly tiny either. Still, it fit all the same. "I suppose it would be something to look into." She replied in regards to the 'band' jacob had spoken of. She remembered that her father often talked about such things from this society.
Soon enough though, they had already begun to decide on a place to meet. "The library?" She thought for a moment. "I suppose that's doable. I'll be starting school at um..." Lucy had to pause for a moment to try and remember where she would be beginning. "I believe the abbreviation was ESU?" She moreso questioned the information as opposed to giving it. "I'd need an address or something along those lines." She said before giving a small laugh. "After all, while it would be easy to travel to Jacobs whenever I needed to go somewhere, it'd be easier to learn my own way." She said with a smile.
She'd finished her drink in a few quick sips. Clearly surprising to those who didn't have an immunity to heat, but the fact remained it was gone in a matter of seconds. With the new shirt over her clothes she was fairly certain that she could relax. That was until a girl approached them. She thought nothing important as she had been discussing her abilities fairly openly, even if they had kept their voices down to contain the conversation. Still, with Brandon away the new girl came and she questioned who they were. Lucy was more than ready to feign ignorance until she saw the small transformation the girl was fighting to contain. "Not here." She said quickly. She had not problem being recognized as a hero, but Brandon and Amy were another story entirely. She didn't know if they were keeping their other roles a secret.
"We'll meet outside." She added quietly. If this transformation was unsafe, it was best to try and at least move out of the cafe filled with people. "You two don't need to join us." She spoke to Jacob and Amy. She was partly hoping somebody would come with her, in case things got messy, though she didn't expect the girl to try and harm her consciously. "But given what we just saw, continuing to speak to this girl around the people here might be dangerous." her words sounded cold, but the alternative would have been to forego helping Maya altogether. And she wouldn't do that. "Jacob, if you in particular need to leave, I understand. Let my father know I won't be back for a bit though." She added just in case.
Tsumiki smiled at his new rooks surprise at being able to pull back her powers. It truly was a sight to behold in his part. What's more, her abilities were seemingly perfect for that of a rook. She could potentially create an almost perfect defense. Barriers or even just an armor of crystal, weapons, or more. He smiled confidently as he held his hand out to her to shake. Now was the time for proper introductions. Although, while he was kind, he would have to tell her the truth, even if it would hurt a bit.
"Well, for starters...," he began calmly and continued to say, "my name is Tsumiki Grimmond and I'm a devil." Tsumiki spoke rather casually despite the fairly important information he was giving her. "And if I'm being perfectly honest you would have died without me two days ago. Although if it's today we're talking about, you would have likely learned to take control of your abilities all on your own in time," He paused for a moment considering how he would continue to explain her situation. She would most likely freak out. So he thought it best to prepare himself.
"Moving on. What i'm about to say next with most certainly frighten you." He wasn't quite sure how this would hit her, or even if she would remember what he was about to tell her regarding the other night. "Two nights ago you were on the verge of death. In response to your grief and will to live a small card, much like the one currently in this room became active. It alerted me to a soul in need and I used magic to come to your side." Tsumiki gave her a moment. Maybe it would come back to her. Even if it didn't, he would continue, "Because of your need to live I gave you an opportunity. Continue to live as a devil, a member of my peerage, and serve me; or die where you were." With that there was no further need for explanation. Obviously she'd made a choice or she wouldn't be where she was.
Lutra continued to watch as the situation continued to escalate. Admittedly, it had become a bit worried by the actions of the resident dragon. He wasn't quite sure how this would end. All the same, he couldn't allow this to continue within the confines of the club room; worse, while on school grounds. He'd hoped that perhaps Kenji could quell the flames of war, but it was a long shot even the greatest of marksman wouldn't be able to accurately target. An ironic though in the head of the small, almost disturbingly intelligent, mute familiar of the peerage's King. Still, the small creature managed a wave back before balling his small paw into a tiny fist and spreading his wings to fly down, notepad and pencil in hand.
It stopped on the head of the delinquent who'd barged into the room of the lord and found a clean page before scribbling. What it produced was just barely readable, but readable all the same.
King not be happy.
It flipped to the next page after a moment and scribbled further, banking on the idea that Ryuunosuke would leave it if it didn't pose a threat.
Fight outside so school not hurt.
It repeated the process once more, this time showing the pad to Siegfried directly in front of the delinquent.
No one die. Nothing break. Master be happy.
With that it finished and awaited the final decision of both the dragon and the delinquent. It wasn't what Tsumiki would have done. But given the situation, there wasn't much else Lutra could do to carry out the will of his master.
Although I have stated this on the first page I will again. I do not own, nor did I create the images I use. If I use images from this point on, assume that aside from any edits I have made to them, I did not create them. I find them on Google and store them for later use and/or editing. That is all.
It's no problem. I know full well how busy life can get. I myself have been dealing with work, finals, and the stress of moving recently. Take however much time you need.
Thank you for the reassurance. Still, best not to doddle. I'm finishing up some papers for the end of my semester, and recently began apartment hunting. So I feel you. Off from work til the 30th though since my work is at my school and that is when the summer session begins. lol
First things first. I'm going to read over the IC one more time and then write a quick post. I'm prioritizing this because @Guess Who can't post until I do and I need to move things along as the GM and make sure you all know I'm still here.
THEN! I'm going to go over these two characters, whom I've heard and read good things about thus far. Sorry for the delays. And thank you for putting up with this unreliable King.
@Delta44i like the idea of the illusionist rook. I do t think you'd need the sword though. The cards, I'm thinking talismans to be honest, would be too necessary, save for buffs and debuffs, but that's a moot point. But as an illusionistic, it's likely the illusions couldn't actually do much. Could have the cards allow for the copying. Or learn some sort of clone/duplication magic. Regardless, illusion rook. Don't focus too much on the cards cause we still have the runes and what not for back up.
@Guess Whookay, so go ahead and shift to rook when you get the chance. Only notable difference is that rather than high speed she'd gain superhuman strength.
@Jangel13yeah just edit whenever you can. You know you'll be getting that speed boost.
@1Charak2 Alastair isn't a part of the peerage yet, but he'll be taking the bishop place when it opens up.
@Delta44change to fit a rook. I like that best. We'll have a second knight soon enough. And your character is pretty versatile. And you can help train the newbie.
@TheHangedManokay, so I was thinking before ryuunosuke might make a good rook if we could recruit him. Buuuuut chances are he's just gonna be a rook. It's likely his piece will mutate, but at the end of the day, we're gonna have one fuck ton of a first string with just him and sieg.
@pkkenand finally, last pawn spot shall belong to you.
Did I get everyone? I think i did. This is likely the best line up I can think of. Soooo, there we go. Question? Statements? Complaints? Ideas? Etc?
