@Lexicon You weren't kidding about the length lol. I skimmed it a bit the first time I read so I made sure to check it all second go, it looks pretty good to me. I guess my only complaint would be that she does seem slightly too powerful however given the nature of the character and the fact that one of her weaknesses is light, something that isn't in overly short supply, I'm more or less ok with it, again just gotta see what Cross thinks and then you should be all set.

@Utrax I'm still holding out the weak hope that he looks like the same Mothman from Batman.
@Holy Soldier I like Hansel, interested to see how Gretel turns out as well now. Hansel is accepted

@MissCapnCrunch Bambi looks good, accepted in my books but I'm not sure if Cross missed your sign up, I'll wait to see what they have to say first but I don't see any problems with the sign up
@Crosswire, @Bishop hmmmm I'm a little conflicted to be honest. I did/am considering using Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (As well as having Hyde be responsible for the Jack The Ripper murders since the book came out around the time they started) and they aren't technically a Tale I've really been wondering where we'd draw the line but it'd be hypocritical of me to say no to The Horned King, especially if he's at least in a somewhat fantasy-ish adaption. I guess do the sign up Bishop and we'll look it over, just remember Cross's notes on your previous sign-up.

Thought I might as well throw my hat in on the mortal thing. I personally saw it like Fables in the sense that there's wards around the community to keep the average person a little bit more dulled than they'd regularly be, though it doesn't blind them completely and also if enough mortals gain a large enough interest while in the area (through seeing some suspicious activity from Tales) then the wards would overload and fail completely.
Pretty much, just in the off chance Cross has any notes
@Utrax Cross pretty much hit the nail on the head with everything, really like the sign up (And very much enjoy the way your formatted everything) El Chupacabra is ACCEPTED. Feel free to post the sign up in the thread

@Oddsbod Looks fine to me, with a bit of spit and polish to the layout I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be accepted. Also having seen your work from the Nomadic Fist thread I'm pretty interested to see what you come up with

@Lexicon Well, Crier may not be respected but he's one of the more prolific authority figures, that said he also doesn't get much support from the higher ups really. As a "police force" there isn't really one, there's a few sheriffs and private/public detectives like Crier but typically that's it. The community doesn't see much direct conflict so there's not much need for a large army of officers, that'd make it harder to keep a low profile as well. At present there's a few prolific Tales vying for power so there's a pseudo-council until a proper leader is elected. Those characters shooould be fine, I can't see anyone picking them up except for maybe Merlin but if Cross is fine with it too then I see no problem

@FantasyChic Beast wasn't claimed and as Beauty you kind of have to have him around so I'd say there shouldn't be any issues

Years ago it was decided, among the most prolific and powerful Tales, that their ways were dying. In order to maintain their presence and livelihoods almost every Tale from every world fled into the world of mortals. This event has come to be known as The Great Exodus

This RP takes some inspiration from the comic series Fables (As well as its video game adaption The Wolf Among Us) But is not affiliated with the material, it is it’s own story with completely different characters. You are a Tale, a being both myth and reality, made manifest from various fairy tales, folklore and urban legends. You decide who you are and how your story has transpired as well as what has brought your Tale among the world of mortals.

In New York City 1987, There is great political and social strife among Tales. The community is without a strong effective leader, leading to many attempting to take the role for themselves. Beastly Tales must use powerful spells or regular potions in order to suppress and conceal their true forms, those unable to afford such things are forced to take cheaper, unreliable knock offs. Tales from most spectrum's are feeling alienated, something has to give. How this particular story plays out, is up to you.

Cain lingered at the back of the group, catching the occasional glance his way. Not that no one here really trusted one another to begin with but they were quite clearly not fans of him, that was fine, he preferred it that way. Cain wordlessly stared ahead as the group continued on, very rarely letting his eyes wander to the fields at their sides, bathed in the orange hue of the setting sun.

The claw handed woman asked something about food, clearly she did not think very highly of anyone save for perhaps the lady in the large brown cloak. Cain looked at her for a moment and gently tapped the side of his bad in response before once more gazing at the path ahead as he walked. He didn't tend to carry much but he'd packed some provisions, he wasn't a big eater to begin with but if worst came to worst he could hunt with his bow and trap if need be, useful skills acquired from various stakeouts in the woods.

The woman in the gilded armour, Cain had underestimated her. She was far more irritating than he'd given her credit and the journey had barely lasted an hour. She was snide and condescending to her companions, Cain was now quite certain after her comment to the woman on the golem that she was most likely going to try get the group killed, or at the very least use them as meat shields. Cain was loyal to some fault, but if a death blow was heading towards them he knew he'd been getting out of the way.

She spoke with the brown cloaked lady, about religion it seemed. Cain didn't have much time for it usually but their conversation was the most notable sounds provided save for the occasional whistle of a bird and rustle of trees. 'Rebecca' was the woman's name, or perhaps not, it'd do for now in any case. The Order sounded like powerful combatants to hear 'Rebecca' talk about them... 'Life is pretty nice over there, as long as you don’t get on their bad sides' Cain mulled over her words. That was either a possible threat or simple statement of fact, perhaps they paid well too.
